I agree that honestly this has to be one of the most enjoyable Chinese

I love Dark since it is quite normal if we remove his possibility of being the Demon God since he is not like shonen protagonists who need a tragic past to become strong and have family problems to increase their backstory.

I love how they presented Dark's mother as a loving mother who loves her son and wants to protect him (Thanks to his existence, Dark is protected from anyone who wants to investigate why his monsters change... more>> shape and their high level of intelligence and others. Special characteristics) and that he has never questioned Dark although this caused the original Dark to become naughty as he was always pampered by everyone and when the memory of his old life woke up he is seriously sorry for how he was in the past and decides that he wants to return all the love his mother gave him.

Since in the first duel that Alvette went to see him, Dark was not really interested in winning, he even thought about losing until he saw her present and decided to win.

I really like the pure mother-son relationship between Dark and Alvette.

About how Dark is op makes sense since he has a higher degree of knowledge and concentration than anyone of his age due to his memories of his previous life and has been humble since in many of his duels he has admitted to being lucky due to the op that are his Monsters because of his IQ higher than anyone else's and their strong wills to give/get him victory and that he has never faced true powerhouses in serious duels.

The duels seem fun to me and it reminds me of the duels of the first Yugioh where everything is new and there is room for improvisation and discovery of the rules and abilities of their monsters that are new with their shapeshifting so there is always surprise.

And if he doubts he has luck, he is a protagonist at the level of the protagonists of Yugioh

So far his deck is a combination of Digimon, Pokemon and Yugioh for the most part although it has different names

I love how Dark's deck, although I can't say that all the pokemon that he has have liked me, without a doubt I hope to see more of the pokemon and if he will get some legendary in the future

About yugioh he only has 2 monsters related to Yugioh but
Spoiler

Dark achieved his dream of obtaining a version of blue-eyes white dragon thanks to Pandora senpai although Dark is scared to tell her the truth about the materials he used since he does not know how she reaction

[collapse]

In digimon, thanks to the sins cards, the digimon can have multiple forms when different types of sins are used, which will have many possibilities in addition

Spoiler

In his second year, Dark is allowed to obtain another monster as demidevimon and he managed to obtain Agumon and his evolutions through the card pride are related to the digimon route of Agumon from Digimon Squad

[collapse]

Although Dark has got the Monster that he was looking for, he has also failed to get what he wants like the God Digimon when he looked for apollomon but he got Leomon but it seems that he has not given up since I really hope that he can get in the future to Jupitermon, Dianamon and Plutomon even though the latter might be used for Alvette's special type of card.

About pokemon now he is thinking of developing them in his second year a legendary due to events with certain materials and does not have much reference material for other monsters

I really hope more integral on the Yugioh side than those mentioned or just that dark manages to create copies of the monster in the spoiler of the monster that Dark managed to create thanks to Pandora

Now about the story the other characters are interesting with my favorites being Pandora senpai, Dianna, Sara (personality and / or ability although Sara doesn't really have much interaction with the protagonist)

On white I must agree with the one who put the spoiler on how the author has been towards him but I admit that I am not so interested in him since the protagonist is Dark and everything bad that has happened to white was the fault of his environment And from it he even came to despise his first monster the deer that he obtained when dark obtained Eeve obviously as he would say in Yugioh his deck will not respond to him if there is no respect and I really would like that as in Yugioh where the protagonists get cards from others I hope that Dark gets the stag of white due to some situation permanently or for a long time so that dark gets another monster of light in his deck and considering what happened between them and so that white sees the power of the stag in the hands of a true duelist and if dark makes it evolve with the sins cards.

Spoiler

The reason why I grouped Dark and white's stag is because the stag saved dark when Lady devimon was corrupted by a mad moon goddess and helped save the life of dark as demidevimon who was in lady devimon at that time.

Just imagine the potential of the stag if dark used his sins cards in the maybe dark would get a version of the pokemon Xerneas when the deer evolved

Reason why white despises and cannot use the potential of the stag.

He hardly ever uses it in his duels

When he drew it, he decided to give up, considering it a useless card, when he faced Diana

First official duel between dark and white

[Mind Light], which can express the power of the soul, once helped him awaken the [Evil Beast] that was corroded by the Moon Goddess.

The upper limit of this nirvana depends on the magister's mental strength, which is a typical psychic ability that will be amplified by the magister's thought and emotions.

As the son of a brave man, if Whitte can make good use of this [soul light] and put his courage into it, he should be able to get good results.

It's a shame that the [Light of Mind] without the magister's spiritual augmentation is just normal nirvana unleashed by magical one-star elves.

This shows that white does not know how to use stag to its full potential.

[collapse]

Although without a doubt anyone who sympathizes with white will feel sorry for him since compared to dark is that white had nothing while Dark always gets everything incredible

What they want to be with the raw I must tell you that the fiancee has already appeared before the end of the first year and she met Dark during her vacations but it seems the commitment was canceled since Alvette seeing how Dark was surrounded by good girls wanted him to choose as she would ensure that Dark would hate her if she forced him into a political marriage.

And dark not knowing that his fiancee is with him and when the fiancee's mother told him to take care of fiancee but dark thought would take care of her as if she were a sister

I still hope to see if something happens with that

Although I am currently more with Dark xPandora or Dark x Dianna although there is still much to see and if the fiancee manages to make dark fall in love with her <<less

Spoiler

So far not a good impression. Setting aside the slow-development, the system is ridiculous, makes little sense and stop the MC from doing anything. He cant eat, he cant nap, cant study, cant even get irritated because then he becomes a demon god. He even has to resort to some pretty weird mental gymnastics just to read a book. It really feels like it the author tried to make it a gag yet completely and utterly failed at it.

Spoiler

The world is pretty interesting, obviously a soft copy or a parody of HP with digimon/pokemon elements, but ultimately fairly interesting. Unfortunately, the system still drags down the story. But if you skip the parts where the system comes into play (around 40% of the story so far) then it becomes bearable.

Spoiler

the system seems to have gone into the background and/or dissapeared so the story has got much more enjoyable. The MC is a bit boring/passive, but as a slice of life with a sprinkle of humor, its a nice story.

Spoiler

it takes a while but it gets pretty good. The school its fun, the teachers do a lot of work and the system gets relegated to the background where it belongs.

I suggest this story a lot.
As for translations.... The MTL is pretty good until chapter 780, then it goes down hard on quality, making it nearly impossible to read.

This novel is unexpectadly great. Bring a max of Digimon, Pokemon, Harry Potter and Yugioh it has something that is unique inside. Story is kind of slow but its characters make up for it.

4.5/5 overall definitely a good read

4 star (Although my vision is due to my love for the things the author used to enhance his story)

With the Dark Character I don't have much problems due to how they explained before why he should be op compared to his classmates although the inflation of power is also present but it is only a card game and not life-to-death battles

I think the author seeks to justify Dark because Dark is not like that due to his old personality but because of the threat of the Demon God's... more>> blood which can bring him death because they will not accept this.

Although I also have complaints about how the author shows Dark as someone omnipotent in front of the public both in duel and in doing things that is not dark's fault since what we read the novel we know how many failures and difficulties he has had to create cards and other things although it is still a high skill level (MC plot armor).

Although I would have liked that more people who have asked about the dark personality change, we must remember that dark is still a 12 year old and that he still has time to make a personality change that is more credible to improve or get worse.

Although I would have loved if someone had asked him and Dark answered that it was thanks to the school system of how good behavior represents DP which equals power and the creation of demidevimon the possibility of creating more monsters and the reason he wanted was to have more companions (making excuses that is due to the intelligence of their monsters)

Although I really wish more chapters that did not include dark point of view but other people's point of view since I feel the same yugioh (gx) vrains problem where they only focus on the protagonist and I don't want dark to happen something similar to judai when he lost his friends and became the supreme king

The reason why dark doesn't bother me is that I find him better than a certain protagonist of Yugioh (Playmaker) since while Playmaker has his trauma and they make him look like an invincible duelist and a hero who always wins without telling us anything else about him and The moments in which he show human emotions are very few (I know about their trauma but look at the other types of lost incidents that seem to be much more capable of expressing emotions) while Here Dark does not have to act like that because he have a trauma but because of the risk of the blood of the demon god to act as a model student without really being able to enjoy his new life while the author try to give his perspective on his school life and on how the world works

Another thing that I liked about the author is how he really does how Yugioh says where no cards are useless since each card that Dark has made has had a purpose or moment to shine and he also tries to mix things serious like romance (Although it does not concern dark) and how it complexes or destroys a person

In destroying a person I mean the brave white that seriously deserves some shine that is not removed instantly, although the author managed to stabilize his mental state thanks to a certain incident, I hope it improves his treatment of him.

Other people who are beginning to be self-conscious are dark companions who do not have a strong mentality or because of romance problems

I am really interested in seeing how Dark developed in his second year and how he does to deal with the problems that are beginning to arise that are both for him and how he will respond in his relationships with his friends.

While I ask as he will battle with the boss of this year will be like, they already introduced him and already gives us an idea of who will be the beings that Dark will have to face in the 5 years that he has left in school to overcome and what battles he will have and maybe if there will be more life or death battles where he will have to overcome

Another thing that has me interested is how the dark couple will be if it is a only 1 girl or harem

Regarding harem, I feel kinds confused. Dark doesn't really love any girls. Perhaps Pandora, a senior sister, can get closer to that level but that's it. But almost all of the main girls has crush on him at some degree.

But one of the theme in the story is about the rise of women status in the world so I doubt that he will end up with a harem but author clearly writes in a harem route. But nothing sure so far

Although if I'm honest I really want Dark to stay with Pandora and Dianna (I really feel that she needs a advance since even though she is her best friend and would be the girl I would support if it weren't for Dark is an adult who went back to being a child, since I no want dianna to suffer a broken heart)

The other characters
Rose (Nothing against her but she supports Dianna and her family is tr*sh the typical nobles who seek benefits)

Her fiancee (Due to Dianna she loses sense and due to Dark that has no idea that she was her fiancee and his misunderstanding although it all depends on how the author develops her)

Eudora (This would be a person who would be interesting if the author gave her more prominence in the story and maybe if dark has a harem I wouldn't mind if she added it)

I do not consider Sara and Emma because if They interested in Dark it is because they are seekers of the number 1 position that Dark has since for sara she was always confident in being the first until she met dark who defeated her exceeding her expectations every time) while emma is also bad loser who has more time in history for being a confirmed heroine of the game.

And this is a comment for the user TheOneEye:

Spoiler

The slow development of the plot happened from the things that were already noticed in the spoilers since it took more than 400 chapters for Dark to finish his first year so the pace is super slow and considering that it has more than 600 chapters and in novelupdate just goes to chapter 62 obviously have a lot of road and need stamina and patience to be able to enjoy this story

What Dark does during his spare time as mentioned in previous spilers where for the most part, he will watch the MC as a spectator for most of the main plot, but he won't avoid getting into the mix of things if he has to, which he usually is. Near the end of the arc when something important to his future development occurs and aside from that, he spends most of his time experimenting and playing cards which makes most of the events seem repetitive until the duel or fight scenario of life or death.

What you have already been warned about if you read the spoiler even the same synopsis and the protagonist tells you that the game where he reincarnated used the elements of other franchises

About your comment about Dark, do you not remember that he was an adult who woke up in the body of a 12-year-old boy with almost no important information about the game and you seriously hope that in a world where mathematics is at a lower level than his previous world are able to make a problem for Dark or that some children can compare themselves with respect to intelligence on that subject and you mean the age that enters the first years was 12 years old and it is true that compared to how the characters of little tyrant these look very immature in comparison just take that as a story for fun

(And by the way if there are noble people who are manipulative or think like noble but they are teenagers or adults but most of them cannot harm Dark due to the protection of his mother or dark plot armor)

At points that I agree with you is that the narrative form sometimes becomes very repetitive at certain points and continues to praise things such as the virtues of effort, dedication, and other virtues to explain the victory of some people or the constant advance of dark

About harem I already said it, the girls are the ones who fall in love with him but not dark with them since he is busy with his own affairs and it will be difficult for him to be in a relationship since so much dark before and after obtaining his memories he does not have no experience in a real relationship

I also agree with White and his affection card but he really during the course of the story he does not use it due to the scolding he received from the teacher and due to his own morals so there is not much problem in that.

Your comment about Emma I don't remember if I saw Harry Potter so I'll keep quiet but it is obvious that she is one of the author's favorite characters because she has a longer screen time although she is not related to Dark as a friend.

Although I hope that she gave more screen time to girls more interesting in second year since Emm if I'm honest I am not interested in she as a rival or love interest

It is pretty good. The character development and interactions are what made this novel interesting. Although it copied some settings from various pieces, it still stands unique. I like the card making and the fact that the MC can utilize his seven deadly sins in it.

Grade:

8/10 (pottet cats are goated)

TLTR:

its a good novel, the main drawback is its slow pace, but other than that? Its a good and interesting idea, a bizzare but wellput combination of differents novels and pieces of media; the hogwarts of harry potter, the yu gi oh system of battles, the pokemons and digimons thatare just that, pokemons and digimons! Personally I like the relathionships and how the character are portrayed, the author could have made the original MC of the story white gawd, the antagonist, but in reality is... more>> all the contrary, he is just a 12 year old boy who is trying his best, so I like how it escaped that cliche. The only other point of confussion is the fact that the main problem pf him controlling and learning about what causes his sins to grow, which it was invested at the beggining, as he tried to learn what and what not added to that count, ended being push down to the back, but its understandable, as we put more attetntion to the rest of the story. <<less

Temporary score of 3 - 3.5

A promising novel. Many people find it similar to Little Tyrant Doesn't Want to Meet with a Bad End, and they are right in some sense. This novel is similarly slow-paced and careful with detail. Objectively speaking, Little Tyrant Doesn't Want to Meet with a Bad End is better, but I prefer this novel because I don't like the former's protagonist and (probably) main waifu (again, they're not bad, but not in line with my preferences).

So, this novel has quite an interesting setting. On the... more>> surface, it's just a copy of Harry Potter + Yugioh + Pokemon + Digimon, but the author was able to make this combination alive. It still doesn't change the fact that it's not original enough, but it's already one big step ahead of other copycat novels.

The main reason why the setting works is that the author made the plot slow-paced and focused on the setting a lot. The protagonist is spending a loooot of time studying and researching, almost completely focused on those things in over 160 chapters I've read so far. In other words, while consisting largely of copied elements, the setting is fleshed out enough to make it good.

Of course, this has a downside. The plot is very slow-paced, and it could use more action in my opinion. Not much more—maybe twice as much, which would still not be that much. The novel is simply a bit boring in the long run, which I both favor and dislike it for (it's a bit boring, but it also makes it hard for it to distract me from proper work). Additionally, I feel like the characters' relationships with the protagonist could develop slightly faster.

Speaking of the protagonist, I generally like him. He has a big handicap (I feel like some reviewer claimed that it stops being relevant very quick because MC dealt with it, but this claim is only half true), and is generally likable. It's just that his character should be fleshed out more (rather than Buddhist life, it's more like a salted fish now). I mean, he should have some more vitality. For example, he likes cats, but if he was crazy about cats and it drove his actions sometimes, it'd make him much more alive as a character. Well, I suppose the slow pace is getting in the way of that too. Also, it doesn't feel like he has any overarching goal besides stabilizing his condition and studying. He doesn't really think about what he will do a year from now on or after graduation. That's another flaw.

The other characters are introduced and fleshed out considerably slowly, but this novel is so far very promising in terms of character depth. We have both obvious and not-so-obvious love interests, and all of them feel like distinct personalities, even though they have yet to gain much depth by 165th chapter. Moreover, we have multiple male side characters whom the author committed just as much time and effort to, which deserves applauding (harem novels generally don't give an F about male characters, coz there's no place for competitors in wish fulfillment; if they're not enemies to slap a face or two, they'd just get in the way). I can think of at least three, four of them who have relatively decent depth (as compared to love interests) at this point with ease.

Overall, this novel is very promising. It's just that it's slow, and the translator is slow AF. I would read the MTL, but I don't dare to attempt it with all the digimon, pokemon, and harry potter universe (magical creatures, ingredients, and spells) names being thrown around. Speaking of it, kudos for the translator for uploading pictures of digimons so that those of us readers who aren't familiar with it (like me) don't have to look them up. <<less

So I'm going to start this off with me saying that I don't actually like this book.

This book is very slow but detailed, there is a lot of time spent where the main character just follows steps in making a potion or goes to class over and over again. If this isn't your style then you won't enjoy this book. At least for me personally I don't like this style but I still enjoy it but what made me dislike this series was just how much of the core plot... more>> was stolen, with how much is taken from harry potter, pokemon, etc. and how these parts are from whatever keeps getting referenced breaks my immersion in the story and this just ended up being the final nail in the coffin for me to drop it since I already don't like how slow paced it is.

The story has a decent amount of originality with the 7 sins and how he needs to resist letting them grow but this concept was basically dropped as soon as he produced [Pride I] and it just became how he could use the sins. I think the story would have been a lot more entertaining and enjoyable if it focused on the seven sins and kept putting him in situations where they would risk rising, something like the seven sins each have an attraction (i.e. gluttony improves smell so good food seems more appetizing, lust makes him more attractive, ect.) and then have situations where he needs to resist those sins... With how its currently set up its just overall boring and the entire world building honestly makes no sense to me, it feels like the author took a bunch of there favorite stories/games and just threw them in a pot. Overall, at least personally I don't enjoy this story but I think its well written and if you like slow novels and don't mind "this is from harry potter, this is from pokemon" then this story would be good. <<less

It's got potential. The premise of the story is pretty unique and definitely something nice to read. It reminds of Little Tyrant tbh.

I only have 1 major problems with this, that is, it has a lot of info dumps. Sometimes, half the chapters would be filled with nothing but him explaining his experiments and whatnot, so the story is incredibly slow to progress.

It's honestly unnecessary and breaks the flow of the story. You can literally cut that part out and you wouldn't miss anything in the plot.

Honestly if the author didnt just straight out took monsters from digon and pokemon I would probably like it.

I would be okay if the story is inspire by certain parts of harry potter, digimom and pokemon. If they simply said a fox like monsters instead of saying eevee then thats better.

So much potential but because its just a mishmash of rip-off it sucks ass
