Feels a little dumbfounded when I saw low stars reviews about 'no character development'.

The author emphasized thrice in the earlier chapters that this is NOT a novel about growing MC.

So what kind of character development do you want?

I honestly loveeee Shi Sheng's personality. She made the whole novel funny and entertaining. She's unpredictable! I love her antics, how she complete her mission, her and the ML interaction, her and the systems' interaction, I like her sword too XD the sword that has millions of names lol.

I love all the arcs and repeated them 'numerous' times (except for the plum meets wine, lol).

It's worth reading, no parts in here is boring and everything is amazing.

Highly Recommended.

Without thinking too deeply, it's obvious that she has hate in her heart, but she's not exactly without a conscience.

One of the worlds she later visits is a real world with breathing, living people that isn't simply manufactured by an author. After realizing that it is not a fake world like the others, she palpably takes a more subdued stance instead of being the usual tropebreaking warlord.

Needless to say, the protagonist is definitely evil. Her husband is a world-destroying calamity and she is also pretty badass even before the fact that she got to catch him. Overall a good novel, would read again. I wouldn't binge it, I think. I actually like how the system is so obviously trying to make her do stuff and she doesn't trust the system. 4/5. Closer to a 5 than a 3, but it has some frustrating parts, so 4 stars. <<less

I did enjoy reading this but as I later on realized that MC's personality would not improve and she wouldnt develop some morals, I had to drop. But I have to admit she is badass and its funny when shes breaking the ships, but shes just a bit evil sometimes and I dont like MCs like that.

I have been reading the same story for almost five years. I can’t read chinese and google translate sucks so I always have to wait for the translated updates. Here, I will add my personal "feeling" about this novel. All the stories MC had entered were about a scum male lead who loves another scum of girlfriend and then both caused the death of an innocent supporting character. Everytime I read how tragic it was, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable myself. Okay, so I quite like the story so far. Although there are repetitive jokes and well, course of action, I enjoyed the story. The ML is a bit........ bland and a tsundere. At times, you get the gist that MC is clearly someone with high IQ but still prefers to resolve mere conflicts using brute force. Why, you may ask ? Simple. She clearly states that humans are hypocritical and vicious creatures who change faces and the sides they are on like rapidly receding tides so why bother putting on... more>> a fake front of cordiality when you can just pummel 'em to death. And besides, she doesn't need anybody's appreciation, or for that matter, acceptance cuz she treats the characters they way are supposed to be....i.e. like characters of a book. And as far as the relationship between the MC and the ML is concerned, I would only say, that for a person having no EQ whatsoever she sure spoils the ML a lot. The affection she holds towards him is in its initial stages and can only be described as one would hold towards a pet and the possessiveness merely stems from the prospect of an object belonging to her that she has taken a liking towards. In a nutshell, The story is unique in its approach, can get a teensy bit frustrating at times but never fails to amuse the reader. I would definitely like to recommend the readers to give it a try given that you are not frustrated or ticked off by unprecedented MC's and their over the top antics <<less

I really like this novel. It has suspense about the true origins of the MC and her past lingering on to it all the time.

Basically, it's a story about a step-mother style author (MC) who gets transported into the different worlds of novels as a punishment (of writing unfinished novels or killing of the female lead in her stories) and is given a mission to fulfill the wishes of the pitiful side-characters.

The MC is OP, handles every difficulty by either fluttering her 'amazing' sword around or by using her superb... more>> hacking skills. It is really enjoyable to see her doing things in the manner which always goes against the cliche of a novel and see her crushing all her enemies.

But one thing which I feel disappointed about is the fact that one cannot have a proper emotional attachment to the novel or the MC as the MC is depicted as a 'cold-hearted person who does not have any kindness' and the ONLY thing which keeps me going on is my curiosity to unveil the suspense. <<less

I really love this story.. It’s totally different from any other CN I’ve read and it’s almost similar to my fav book My Disciple Die Again.. I really want to read the raws as I want to read the rest of the story but unfortunately I’m too lazy orz.. Love this novel and the translation is fantastic with no major errors.

The storyline is building up to something but it's slow going. The MC is certainly different and shows zero interest in doing tasks properly but it's a decent read to while away some time. The complaints in other reviews are pretty valid but this novel is more of a casual thing so don't expect heart stopping romance and intense love cuz it's not happening. Love, love, love this novel! It's a good take on a strong and awesome female MC who's hobby is to make her system vomit blood from frustration haha

Warning: Not for those who wants a heart warming romance, because there is none (so far). Also, mc's changes are subtle and takes a lot (and I mean a LOT) of chapters before it happens.

I think I like the overall progress of the story. MC's character is okey. Not that I like her character but I don't hate her either. Too over bearing for me I guess. LoL, And then the Male Lead, hmm... I think he cute in some world.

What I like about this novel is the plot of each world then. It pretty much interesting and a little unique. Probably MC personality did not appear before in other novel. LoL

It's a very good novel. MC shi sheng is domineering, straightforward, arrogant while the male lead is shy and cute but not weak. Sometimes I felt I am reading a bl novel with shi sheng as gong and fang ci as shou while reading it. It was fun, although it is lengthy. You can choose to read any arc.

There's no creativity at all in solving the problem. MC already be warned before about the things she did that makes her morality points went down but she still keep doing it anyway.

MC is such a snowflake full of resentment. She's beyond selfish no wonder her morality can't be saved anymore

ngl, the story had plotholes and was a little lacking in substance but as one of the first webnovels I read I still like it. Although it might be really mary sue and the protagonist gets her way a lot, there's face slapping and it's just that novel you read thoughtlessly for satisfaction.

if you are looking to read a legit novel with amazing plot and everything, this is not for you. It's purely for simple pleasure- enjoyable to read but you gotta just turn off your brain and enjoy it.

I really like these quick transmigration novel that has different arcs, this one has a lot I mean a lot of arcs..I'm still in 7th arc but I still like reading it, the MC is so evil but I like her.. The ML is still a mystery so I'm curious to know more about him and mc

I stop read this one, tho I forgot what chapter I am currently on. I say this is good, at the beginning, but some 1K chapter later is feel so long and boring. Even I curious about mystery background about Shi Sheng but it is so long that I get enough.

There is suddenly an enemy show up and had grudge to Shi Sheng I think. That means there is another one that accompany Shi Sheng and ML in some arc.

Anyway the author has another novel: Quick Transmigration: Male God, Shine Bright! AND ITS ABSOLUTELY REALLY GOOD. Same character as Shi Sheng that cool and strong female lead. The story is more growth and prim. Not boring as this one, because the story is move forward but author not prolong the story as this one. <<less
