It all happened so abruptly. After finally grasping my situation, I found myself in an entirely different world. Looking around, I noticed others in the same predicament… Could this possibly be one of those Hero developments?

Was there a tyrannical Demon Lord needing extermination, or would I be tossed into the maelstrom of war? Whatever it was, I was afraid. I never wanted to be a Hero. I don’t want to harm another…… Ignore the nonsense I was spouting; there was nothing to fret over.

The Demon Lord was slain a thousand years ago, and 800 years had passed since the last war. The nobles didn’t treat us summoned like tr*sh; instead, we were kindly cared for. The Demons have been on good terms with Humans for some time now. Dangers, such as monsters, were being taken care of by the Guild and the Order of Knights. What’s more surprising is the fact that I wasn’t even a hero! Instead, I was unintentionally summoned!

It also turns out that this world was a world in which the three races, the Spirit World’s Magical Races, the Celestial World’s Divine Races, and the Mortal World’s Human Races, are kind neighbors. Here, everyone lives a peaceful and fulfilling life.

In summary, this other world was――at peace.

What’s my plan for the future? For my limited stay here, I will live this world to its fullest; going on a cultural exchange, sightseeing, then, after experiencing the festival that is only held once every ten years, …… I shall safely return home.

However, despite my lust for a peaceful last year before returning, this planet’s heavyweights have begun amassing around me, and……

Clearly one of the best novel out there.

The story is not boring even when you reach 1000+ Chapter and it keeps getting better and better even in Afterstory which has many interesting characters appearing most likely the 10 demons which I find it so funny.

All heroine are very likable that you will struggle to find who will be the best heroine, well for me is Isis but I also like Alice because of her personality and also her story.

This is my first time to write a review to a novel... more>> and I'm not also good at English but I really like this story most probably one of my top 3 favorite novel along with Overlord and Isekai Nonbiri Nouka. <<less

This novel is a moderately slow slice of life novel with quite a lot of wholesomeness.

This novel focuses heavily on romance and character interactions, and it also executed it pretty well.

The world building of this novel is really good, I especially like how each character can be traced back to a certain past in history. There is also magic system that I find pretty cool, despite it not being one of the main focuses of this series.

The characters in this story is what I especially love about. Each character has... more>> pretty unique personalities, and most of the main ones have their own past or obstacles that they have to overcome. A problem is that this novel sometimes have too many characters, and it's quite hard to get a catch-up on it after I took a break. And also the main character is one of those generic main characters (but not overpowered), so if you're looking for bad*ss portags, then this novel is probably not for you.

Also, there is no tension in this novel whatsoever, and I honestly like it very much. It's a break from novels that have constant actions and adventurers. And the wholesomeness will also give you diabetes.

In conclusion, a very good read for those who's looking for wholesome sweetness. <<less

I will agree to the other positive comments. This novel is a gem. If you want an Isekai novel without too much risk and a slice of life with side of harem, this novel is highly recommended.

Though, I only have high praises for this novel, I have a major nitpick.

I love harem, you could judge my taste all you want, but I love my harem with some competent male side characters. This is why I highly endeared series like "Sevens" and "The Realist Hero". Unfortunately in this novel, the male... more>> characters are too few and far between. There are ten or so male side characters, it is unfortunate that they aren't as flesh out as the females, and only three have major impact to the story.

But just a warning...

I advise to prepare a loads of insulin shots because the lovey dovey parts would give you stage 10 diabetes. The good news is mostly it is a back to back chapters so prepare a crate.

Especially, chapters which involve Isis.

Ok, so at this point in the story that I've read up to (Ch679), the main arc is well over. The MC has a harem, but no real progression. Some side stories show futures of him getting married, but it hasn't happened in the main story yet. I had hoped it would move on from what seems to be an endless dating sim to he and his harem moving into a castle or something and dealing with the family dynamic, which to me would be fun, and for big changes... more>> like kids, the kid's abilities and antics, how the family would deal with kids antics, and how the world and kids would interact with each other. That seemed to be the next few steps in a slice of life like story such as this. I know there are hundreds of chapters ahead of me, but the lack of progress to this point is a bit stagnating. <<less

I can't particular find much to like about this novel, personally. It's not bad, and I think it gives soothing vibes to a reader who's feeling a little down on life, but the plot kinda just happens without the MC really doing anything for it. Maybe I need to put more time into the novel, since it seems it's at 900+ chapters now, but based on the reviews I've seen so far it doesn't seem to improve much going forward.

My main gripe with the novel is perhaps its pretense that... more>> the MC is "special". Most of the novel is the MC being pampered by the neighborhood okaa-san characters like the main heroine Kuro (which gets odd real quickly since she's the neighborhood loli okaa-san character/TS?), who all tell him that he's great and that he's working hard while feeding him cookies and giving him lap pillows. It's not a bad atmosphere to cheer up a reader who's a little down on life, but otherwise it's a novel about a guy in his mid-twenties acting like a child to the neighborhood aunties, asking for lap pillows and headpats.

The MC doesn't particular have a tragic past or motivating storyline either. He's pretty much your classic introvert - he doesn't really aspire for social interaction, but he's not catastrophic when he needs to talk to someone. He knows how to be a good senpai to his kouhai and how to talk respectfully to his seniors. He's not particularly competent, and knows how to read the room to get out of situations that might disadvantage him, like any other salaryman (which he is, as some reviewers seem to forget - he's not a high schooler). However, anyone who he tells his story to seems emotionally invested in him to an absurd degree, creating a horrible positive feedback loop where the MC keeps getting pampered by the neighborhood aunties.

I wouldn't dissuade someone from giving it a try, but I can't particularly recommend it either. 2/5 stars for me (1/5 for the story and 1/5 for the wonderful translation quality). <<less

Definitely my favourite novel of all time. I am a massive fan of fluff and sugar, and this fits my tastes perfectly. Big thanks to the amazing translator as well, the quality and speed of his/her translations are top notch and have made this far more enjoyable. It is quite the slow burn, and there are some overused jokes, but I could care less about that. More importantly, I love how each character is really enjoyable (especially his lovers, which I believe there are 9 currently, but theres like 30ish... more>> ones waiting to happen) and I still have not found a character I dislike. P.S. Isis & Alice FTW <<less

Hmm, what I can say is it's fun at first but gets more boring and repetitive than a wuxia novel. The MC has all these girls falling for him but... doesnt really do anything beyond telling them they're nice or pretty.

The slice of life is repetitive, in terms of adventure there's none, and theres a difference between being weaker than other big names and being "Stronger than a slime but weaker than a goblin" as described almost 400 chapters in with NO kind of self improvement at all, all while... more>> STILL trying to solve issues yourself only to need to be saved by your waifu brigade anyways. Cant really enjoy MC after first 100 or so chaps. <<less

Hmmm... idk how to say it. Slow paced novel. All the important female characters are harem members. The immortal females all fall in love with the MC because he is weak and still talks to them like a normal person.

Fun to read when you got nothing else, but it got too repetitive for me.

This novel is in one word amazing. I mean yeah, it has it's ups and downs but it's still really good novel that I would recommend. Every character is well written and given fleshed out personality, but the main problem for me is that there are too many characters that I end up forgetting who's who and having to google it + that some characters end up in harem (well not really but are showing affection to MC without being lovers).

After passing c200 or so I was so invested that... more>> I finished novel (main story) in 4 days and still waiting for updates on after story. There are many lovable characters and afterword is fun to read (well I skipped it in later chapters :P).

And if this doesn't give you a reason to read it, as of now this web novel is #1 on activity list for daily and monthly rank and #2 for monthly reading rank. But it kind of bugs me that LN has extra characters that aren't in WN and I couldn't find anything about them on google only about WN characters =_=.

There were some parts that were confusing like a half a year time skip but the story is great. It is like a go with the flow type of plot and the MC isn't powerful at all. Which is a nice twist that this MC Overpoweredness comes from his friends and not from himself. It is great on how it shows how his magic helps other powerful people not by powerful magic but through the magic of friendship. Here is an example from the story... more>>

The MC made friends with Isis the death king. After he made friends with her she smiled and actually looked forward in life with the MC compared to the past when she felt isolated and alone. Additionally her death magic was lessened now that she is happy and in a good mood almost every day because of the MC making her very happy.

Also I wish the light novels had an English release someway cause I would defiantly buy it since I like rereading this series since so many interesting parts happen in it and that the book goes beyond the usual end point for most isekai series. So I can't wait to see what this series has in store for us next. <<less

When you drop a drop of coffee into a can of honey. And then drink it. That's how this novel feels like.

90% of the content is flirting with the girls (polygamy world).

The plot is complete fantasy. It is too miraculous and too amazing. That's the key point. The author doesn't ever try to make it serious and makes jokes about it after each chapter in author's notes.

... more>> Characters are bright and fun. The plot is fun. Everyone around is sweet. Bad guys disappear without lifting a finger. How cool is that?

This novel is great! It doesn't focus on an almighty protag, which is very unique. The story is based around Kaito, the protag, who creates a harem without knowing it. He was caught up in a Hero summoning, but found out that the Hero was basically only for show. The Demon Lord was already defeated a long time ago, and the world is at peace. Besides, he's not the hero. Katsunaga is (a side character recently reintroduced). He accidentaly has the world's strongest beings fall in love with him. And... more>> let me tell you, the emotions in this novel are great! There is basically no seriousness in this, and is pretty family friendly. The author has skill, because when reading, you almost feel as if you are experiencing the story first hand. From Creation Goddess' to the strongest of Demons, Kaito's charm never fails. And Kaito is charmed by the other party as well. Just know that this story doesn't end with the protag choosing only one heroine. There is polygamy! <<less

The harem is heavy and cover entire types of waifu, likes loli, airhead, muscle head, yandere, S&M, almost everytime new girls appear they will raise the flags immediately
And one more thing, the MC super dense so don't look for fluffy relationship

But the comedy is funny and tsukomi boke banter they throw very refreshing, good read after all

This is a really relaxing novel. It's well-written, each heroine (and there many, like MANY) gives a strong impression which makes us, reader, not forget about them. It's slice of life and easy going. It makes you feel relaxed and sweet when you read it. The story is all about our MC promoting his relationships with the heroines who he doesn't have a relationship with (he is not in a relationship with all of them) and spend time on going dates and etc. With the heroines he is... more>> dating. It got some awesome comedy which is seriously gonna make you laugh. The only downside to the story would be the amount of heroines and the fact that the readers are unable to see the heroines they like, spending time and start dating the MC, but that's just another charm of the story if you ask me. Gotta find the right situation for confession and stuff, right?

One of the best wholesome and peaceful isekai.I personally dont like isekai but this is good a mix of slice of life and isekai is the best. The harem isnt bad either. Overall a very soft novel.

this novel is so cute, , a good dose of sugar for a toxic day, to the point that you need a lot of insulin.

its not some average isekai harem. One moment your laughing, , after a moment your squealing, , some awesome action (alice) and a touch of drama but not too much..

MC is not like other op isekai MC whose battle maniac, , as per the war king "hes as strong as slime".

it contains a lot of sugar with a hint of spice. Even though its I harem... more>> it still wholesome. Author is awesome because every heroin has their own unique characteristics, not just some pillar character, that you would be having a hard time to pick who is your favorite main heroin (mines kuro and isis-chan). <<less

For an Isekai story, this is just a surprisingly normal harem story. I know it looks like I gave it a poor review but is a 6/ or 7/10; it's just, y'know, only 5 stars.

Drama-, comedy-, and romance-wise, this is the kind of storyline you'll find in a harem manga rather than a LN. It's also part of the light-hearted side as opposite of, let's say, Rosario+Vampire, for example. The fantasy setting gives it originality, though.

You'll probably accept easier this story if you've read it with a lot of... more>> chapters, otherwise the initial denseness of this protagonist will kill some neurons; but the story is mostly sweet, if lacking some cohesion. <<less
