My whole life, all I wanted was power.

I churned the world into rivers of blood and eventually gained the title, ‘Demon Lord of Strength’. However, all this became useless when I lost to a party of heroes.

But what can a loser say? As I laid dying, I was forced to listen to the hero’s gibberish:

“If you are born again, I hope that you will live a kind life!”

But huh? When I opened my eyes again, I was back in the past.

“What do I have to do to live a kind life?”

This is the beginning of an ex-Demon Lord’s journey to live a ‘kind’ life.

One word-'Satisfied'.

I can't express how satisfying this story is. This has lot's of comedy and action that make one like every chapter. The plot is good with no extra drama or unnecessary twist or turn.

Romance didn't interfere with the fun and the comedy didn't effect the action. Overall this is 10/10 to enjoy. Anyone can enjoy this story.

Highly recommend.

"Excellent Novel - A Must-Read Gem!" (No Spoilers)

I recently had the pleasure of diving into an extraordinary novel that left an indelible mark on my literary journey. From start to finish, this captivating masterpiece never failed to captivate my imagination, making it the best novel I have read thus far. With a seamless narrative, intriguing plotlines, and a lack of unnecessary fillers, it proved to be an enthralling experience.

One of the novel's greatest strengths lies in its ability to keep the reader thoroughly engaged at every turn. Each chapter... more>> presented fresh surprises and intriguing revelations that heightened the anticipation, leaving me eager to explore what lay ahead. The absence of any dull moments was truly remarkable, ensuring that the story maintained an exhilarating pace throughout.

What sets this novel apart is its perfect balance of humor and storytelling. The funny moments, interwoven seamlessly into the fabric of the tale, provided much-needed relief and elicited genuine laughter. The author's skill in incorporating humor into the narrative, without compromising the essence of the story, is a testament to their remarkable talent.

Speaking of the story itself, it is nothing short of superb. The author skillfully crafts a rich and immersive world, populated by compelling characters that leave a lasting impression. The absence of any harem or unnecessary romantic subplots is a breath of fresh air, allowing the story's core to shine through undiluted. This dedication to the purity of the narrative adds depth and authenticity, ensuring that readers remain fully invested in the unfolding events.

Such was the impact of this novel that I find myself contemplating a second read. The author's ability to deliver an unforgettable experience deserves accolades.

In conclusion, this novel represents a remarkable achievement in storytelling. Its seamless blend of humor, a captivating plot, and an absence of distracting elements make it a true standout among its peers. If you are seeking an engrossing read that will leave you hungry for more, then I wholeheartedly recommend immersing yourself in the pages of this fantastic novel. <<less

It's pretty simple and straightforward story, without any great twists. The plot and some settings may seem complicated at times but in hindsight they were all actually pretty linear. As a senior reader of these type of novels I was constantly on the lookout for the "Gotcha" twists, you know the usual deus ex -ish betrayal stuff. There was none. And it was fine that there weren't.

Honestly, objectively rating there really wasn't anything phenomenal about this book. World building was alright at best, some characters grew nicely- some not at... more>> all. The plot and regress setting is, at this point in time, rather overused and the execution was nothing special. Still as a complete book it carried quite well and kept me interested.

The best parts about this book for me were the obvious victories for the MC and his companions. The villains were always somewhat understandable but at the same time annoying enough that stomping on them felt really nice. Especially since it was done by another guy with a rather wicked personality. This was the mood that held it all together.

Translation wise I have almost nothing to complain. If if it was school grading it would easily get an A. If I had to nitpick I would of loved very, very slightly more of a personal touch for certain ways of translating. For example there was somewhat a lot of calling others by 'Sir' from the MC, even when the situation inside the milieu could of definitely called for more crass way of addressing someone. I know it's not exactly protocol to take liberties like that but I feel like it would have definitely upped the game a little bit and made MC even more relatable and interesting, perhaps even further bringing out the originally intended feeling. But that's just my small take.

Overall it's very worthy read. There couldn't be much to hate about this book for anyone I feel like. Do give it a try. <<less

I gave this a five star, but this was a great piece of literature just one step below the korean novel masterpieces out there for this genre such as ORV and SCOG.

This is particularly enjoyable for people with a bit of sadistic tendencies, and the whole novel was enjoyable from beginning to end.

The twists in the story were done well, but you would say they are done too much by the book. There wasn't any mind-boggling twists or plot points. That isn't a bad thing per se, but that just... more>> makes the story clean, simple, and well done, not revolutionary.

For people who enjoy a bit of romance with their action and adventure, this is also the book for you. That is not an exaggeration, there is only a BIT of romance, but it was romance done right. The romance part will only start to develop in around the last 200 chapters and side stories.

Overall I was left satisfied, yet also asking for more (?), so I can recommend this to anyone looking for a good read.

If you want to hear about one weakness of this book, I would say its weakest part is its ending. I'll leave the details as a spoiler.

Spoiler

The final boss/enemy/villain was a bit forced. Although the battle was fun, Glen Zenard's final act was a bit of a stretch. Like, oh, there's a secret power by the way, it appears when you get through the irrational fear regression gives. Also, the ending is decent, but we didn't get more romantic side stories about Zich and Lyla, no side stories for the love life of great supporting characters, even though there is closure. And finally, when the world tree was revealed not to be a part of their world, that opened a whole new avenue of adventure that could've been exploited! Zich's full power at the end hasn't been used enough in my opinion, and I for one wanted to know where the world tree came from, how did it end up in their world, and other things. Though, going on a whole another arc might make the novel get dragged on, I think the solution to that is a sequel. I would be happy with one, even if Zich and Lyla only become a badass side character.

Its a very good fantasy novel. There isnt much suspense tho since the MC is both smart and strong, but that really isnt a problem. The villains fit the role of villain so much that u cant help but cheer for the MC to tr*sh them completely.

Overall its a fun read nothing to stressful happens.

It's good... hehehe

There's flaw in here and there but it's good until the end. Some of it is dragged archs. One's especially annoying, it keep going until I get tired of and the conclusion wasnt that good. The other is you dont get a illustration of character. I even doubt the cover to be precisely correct. ... more>>

Maybe the cover is zich, but THE SWORD IS WRONG. windur is A TREE LIKE SWORD. it also not estellade whis is a pure white sword until it's handle. Not to mention tornium. Or does is the cover when he's leaving steelwall?

Novel is decent with an interesting premise. Main character is unique and pretty well fleshed out. The main arcs revolve around having an enemy and then scamming them in some way or with some kind of betrayal at the end.

The writing overall is average and starts to get fairly repetitive pretty early on but should see you through at least 1-200 chapters.

it is quite good. Main character is sort of weird/insane tho.

He goes back in time, learns powers, punishes some guys, leaves family, trains some ordinary people and some future geniuses/allies from his future and they go as a band of people to do stuff. Mainly to discover this secret that is shown to the readers to be coming from another dude who is kindof probably not oke in the head. They are both very powerful, tho atm main character is simply trying to discover what is that secret/who is doing... more>> that secret.

İt is nice, characters are simple but it goes on a steady pace.İ only read 77 chapters so far but I took a peak at some chapters in the future as well.İ give it 3.5 out of 5.İt's nice, but I didn't get that attached to the world, or the characters in the almost 80 chapters I read. Main character is interesting tho. The power system looks simple so far as well.İt does pique my interest with what can happen and main character and stuff that happen are pretty fun. And I like some side characters. They can be sort of unique, it seems especially obvious when they come in contact with main character. Like priest girl, she is very simple but I liked her a lot and her interactions with main character. She changed and it was fun <<less

If you like antihero/evil main characters this novel has it. It reminded me a lot of Regressor Instruction Manual, because both have a morally questionable MC making people that wrong them get f*cked. My main criticism is that the world doesn't feel very vibrant or interesting, just your average fantasy world. Maybe its because the author isn't very descriptive.

Besides that it's pretty good and I recommend to anyone that likes this type of story.

Great novel full of amazing plot twists and good expectation subversions. A story that will lead you by the nose if you aren’t careful, yet you will gladly accept being treated like that. Interesting characters with layers and is funny as hell, highly recommended.

Pretty descent reading. Easy to understand and predictable. The plot was standart with repeated pattern.

So like I was saying. It just descent to kill time.

One minus to it I could say was the character like a bit*h everytime he fought bad guys. Like seriously its getting on my nerve. Like he got this tendency to explain to his enemies about what he had plan or talk tr*sh of his opponent. You know what murim girl in every novel you can think of fight better than him. That's it. Period..

If you... more>> don't believe me just read it yourself. At least I had warn you <<less

This novel is pretty cool at the start, with the protagonist being bad*ss and screwing everyone over. But as the story goes on, it starts to get more and more boring.

The world building is alright, it's not very interesting imo. It did introduce the ancient stuff, but it's just one of those "There is an ancient empire/kingdom/country that's way more developed than our current one". Pretty generic.

The characters aren't anything to look forward to. The protagonist is the most interesting character, but even he fall off after you get to... more>> chapter 200+. Since there is almost no character development, or any drastic ones at least, this novel will get pretty boring once you reach 200+ chapters.

The premise is alright, nothing to comment on that.

The style of the novel is ok. I just hope they flush out the characters a little more so we can feel more attached to them, cuz one of the characters, that Snoc guy, is very forgettable.

Every arc felt the same. It's all just Zich and co vs secret org, with a few extras. The way they are executed are also the same. They start the same, and ends the same. Every arc can be simply described as, "The secret org is coming to corrupt people! What?! Zich and co are now here to stop them!" Yeah.

In conclusion, a slightly interesting read at start, gets boring 200+. <<less
