Such a good read. I enjoyed reading about Li Cheng's, the Omega, rise in the swimming world and Xaio's, the alpha, journey to being able to freely be who he wants to be. They're together through all the ups and downs, supporting each other and being each other's family. They're do sweet together 💓💓💓

This is the novel that made me fail my exam since I got too caught up in it & ended up not studying at all...

If you liked The Story of ShaoWang, this may be up your alley. It's very reminiscent of ShaoWang, especially with both of its spunky & fierce omegas. I will still say that ShaoWang is still #1 in my heart (most likely because it's super smutty & I am a dirty potato).

It's hard to find an ABO novel that sits well with my moral compass; I'm just... more>> really wary of the dubcon/noncon issue as well as the annoying gender essentialism & biological determinism. That's just my two-cents on the ABO universe. The dynamic balance is pretty shaky, so if you're expecting more of a power couple sort of novel, I think you're better off reading some unlimited flow stories. Note that this novel did get racist & sexist- it's an ABO, I kind of expected it plus it's a Chinese novel too... if you've read your fair share of C-novels, you already know what I'm talking about.

The story overall felt pretty realistic & the development between the main CP was well-done in my opinion. Their story is inspiring, passionate, & full of so much vigor. Made me wish that I was as motivated in high school... but NAH. In addition, the whole athletic shou x academic gong is probably one of my favorite type of pairings. It's super cute, the attraction between the two is as quoted, "sweet & wild". Putting aside the cons, I really enjoyed the story from start to finish. It's rare to find a decent ABO, but this one hits most of guilty pleasure spots so I'm willing to turn a blind eye to its pitfalls.

The best thing about this was the TL- the prose, the dedication, the time... thank you so much for your efforts. YOU ROCK! <<less

one of the best ABO novels ive read including shaowang and this novel made me so teary and happy for the growth of the MC and ml. They both fell in love organically and it. Was just amazing when they did. The translators did an amazing job with the story and 10/10 would recommend!!!

It's sweet, funny, and heartwarming~ some cliche's here and there but hey, I'm into that sh*t :D. I want to see happiness that is lacking in my life and I get that from this novel.

Overall, I love it.

I would like to thank the author for making me feel like how much of a single dog I am with Xiao Xiao and Cheng Cheng's heartwarming love story. Thank you for the translators and editors for making us readers experience and know the story of the unique AO couple. This CP have stark contrast of personality with each other but their dynamic complements their weakness and strong points. HAHAHA the MC is quite oblivious but for the first time it actually didn't irritate me, I found it quite adorable... more>> and made me root for him to have his success. The ML is direct but keen and can see through his omega so you will not vomit blood with the misunderstandings and he understands his omega well, of course he doesn't miss a chance to tease his omega 🤭.

Please consider reading this book it is a slice of life with romance and is full of fluffs. Do not expect smut but I think ML and mc's kissing scenes, funny interaction, and memorable story will make up for it.

Ps: the synopsis was actually in the middle of story because the author feels like it didn't fit in the the beginning but don't worry the author brought justice and made the plot more interesting. <<less

It is sweet, cute, fluffy, romantic and most importantly no unwanted drama and misunderstandings.... this is a love story between 2 teens who are polar opposites of each other who ultimately fell in love... the scenes are heartwarming and pure... the story is smooth flowing with no large mishaps... loved it... thanking the author and translator for bringing us this piece of gem💎🙏🙌

This is a story about two boys on the cusp of adulthood, aiming for their dreams and falling in love along the way. You could call this a high school romance, but you could also accurately call it a story about swimming competitions or a story about breaking free from parental expectations. I also really like what the story does with the alpha and omega roles, where some parts are played against the stereotype, and the what it means to be an omega or an alpha is explored.

The MC and... more>> ML have incredibly chemistry and are very fun on their own and together too. I love the MC, he's such a breath of fresh air in cnovels and among omegas. The plot is pretty moving at times, which surprised me cause I thought it would just be a feel-good fluff piece.

I almost didn't read this because of the bad reviews describing the ML as disgusting who treats MC like an object/animal to be owned, or how the MC is just like a stereotypical female lead in a BG novel tamed by the domineering ML. I'm guessing they skimmed parts of the story and made big assumptions from there.

I'll just leave some examples here which aren't that spoilery but the MC, who is the omega, gets into fist fights regularly, and even fought the ML before. He's physically more fit than the ML, he watches p*rn, he's the school tyrant in the literal sense and an unrestrained hooligan around town. By the end of the story, the MC doesn't seem to have changed much, beyond learning he doesn't have to fly solo in everything anymore. Initially, one might think the ML is going to be cold overbearing alpha who rescues the omega. But he thaws out and also does s*upid embarrassing immature things because he's a youth in love. They're both unquestionably young guys figuring things out.

Anyway, I think it's a great read and I say give it a shot for a sweet, fun, interesting story with an actual plot beyond romance too. <<less

The MC, Li Cheng, is just so funny while the ml, Xiao Yiheng is very doting. The interactions between the MC and ML is just so sweet, especially when they get together. I also really enjoyed that the extras delved into their future (like 10 yrs later) and it just really leaves me satisfied. Overall, I highly recommend this novel!

Powerful story. Truly the Absolute BEST The Most Wonderful The True Perfection Non-Fantasy/Supernatural/Sci-Fi Omegaverse Novel/Story I have ever read in my Entire Life so far!!! I'm not Joking!!!

My Heart was pumping so hard when I read the Sport scenes, especially when MC swimming in Competition. The Sweet Fluff between MC and ML when they get together. The Satisfaction when they get/achieved what they want!!!

MC and ML is Perfect the way they are and Perfect for Each Other!!!

The Author did Amazing Job by writing their Journey without making any Unnecessary Drama/Dog... more>> Blood.

The Summary, while does happen in the Novel, it's not Exactly like THAT. The summary may attract you, but the story in the Novel that keeping you to stay!

This is the review I gave it on my list and I thought I can just copy and paste it here.

What can else can I say but this is a love story. The author does a good job showing how they grew up affected how they've shaped and built themselves as teenagers and how meeting each other and loving each made them grow up and mature with love. Although both character's didn't have a family they were able to make one together.

I also really love on how the author focuses... more>> on both of them individually. Yes, they love each other but they are still their own person not a melding of one but two complementary people who love and support each despite the differences and even respect each other because of it. Both while worried and care about each know about each other understand responsibilities and do their best to support and lend their strength within their capacity even if they are far apart. That doesn't mean they aren't passionate either. I just think the author struck a great balance in that, they both are very mature for their age (which makes sense considering how they both grew up) but there is still that naiveté, impulsiveness, and courage of youth. I think this is a very unique story to be set in an ABO World.

Nothing toxic about this couple, but this world does focus on the fact even in a modern era there is still discrimination and a toxic mentality amongst some people not just what it means to be an Alpha, Beta, and Omega but also male and female. In this way it is quite realistic as this is something that happens in the real world as well. Despite all that this is not a very heavy story even if it does have it's moments, it focuses on being optimistic and overcoming adversity. It's honestly a well done modern love story, that'll leave you feeling fluffy, happy, and content. It's very good ABO story and sticks out amongst the genre. <<less

What a wonderful novel. I love how both of them weren't subjected to overly done tropes most BL novels, much less ABO ones, have.

We have an alpha who is just as full of life and personality as the omega. And we have an omega who is just as domineering as the alpha.

At first I was also thinking that it would go the overrated "cold, overbearing gong × wild, tsundere shou" route but their growth throughout the story made them feel like real, interesting people.

The plot itself is alright, nothing special,... more>> but the author didn't dragged on for too long so it wasn't boring to read. The interactions between the side characters were also funny and at times, touching.

Overall it's a refreshing ABO × school novel. <<less

Young, wild and free indeed — This is heartfelt comedy, if that's a thing, and while it's lighthearted, it doesn't skimp on showing that you have to fight for joy in your life. Endearing lead characters, though the ABO setup means biologically induced codependency beyond healthy boundaries in real life, this novel is really not meant to be realistic with its broad strokes. Enjoyed it for what it is.

It's a feel good story. Fluffy and comedic. Nonetheless the MC and his ML truly make this story entertaining and appealing (so to say less mediocre). A perfect read for a lazy afternoon.^^

I really love their dynamics. No drama and angst. Cute and full of fluffness. There are sooo many lovable scene that I really want to scream omg >__< MC is a very strong and hardworking. ML is so adorable and reallyyy loves our MC. They are supporting each other to achieve their dreams together. This novel is my favourite ABO for now !! I haven't read the extras but I will read it if I have time... more>> :D <<less
