Unknowingly, she saved the Prince of the Realm of the Immortals He Yue Wei, and even experienced an unexpected blessing through a disaster, by eating the internal divine essence of the previous Phoenix God and gaining the form of a person.

She thought her life was finally improving, and her relationship with the Phoenix King was deepening, but who knew that everything would change suddenly?

I read till chapter 37 and jump straight to the epilogue since the story is really confusing.

Have to say kudos to the mystery. I keep guessing the ML and end up reading reviews to spoiler myself.

I waited YEARS for this to update. I literally waited everyday. Imagine my surprise when I come back to my reading list years later to find out this was already completed. I do not read CN novels (except for one) anymore since I'm very busy but now I'm gonna read all the novels in the pure love website.

This story was surprisingly enjoyable. It revolved around our MC who was an ugly phoenix with a human soul and also how she was dragged into the conflict between the god realm and devil realm. Because the story focused more on MC, the story was a bit lacked of background story of the 6 realms so sometimes it felt confusing to read but fortunately, it didn't worsen the story much.

MC was a bit of superficial and Mary Sue but she wasn't pretentious and didn't helplessly fall in love until she... more>> lost her mind. She also had a strong determination and once she decided on something, she won't going back on it.

We could see when she decided to leave Zhao Huajun when his long-lost girlfriend was back. She refused to be a mistress and decisively left his side. Although after that, Zhao Huajun still found her and asked her back from time to time, she was still firm with her initial decision. Moreover, she already fell in love with ML and didn't want to betray him.

As for her interaction with ML, it wasn't considered fluffy because ML was like a wooden block who was lacked of emotion. It's understandable though since he was trapped inside some magic mirrors for thousand of years. But he really treated MC well in his own ways.

And it's a happy ending story so if you avoid some tragedy, this story is right for you. <<less

What is studying? Can it be eaten? Rationally speaking, we know this is marked as comedy, and it wouldn't be a comedy if the MC weren't a bumbling little bird brain. But a bird brain is probably the rarest and most necessary personality type in a world of immortals ruled by schemes and death. Still, one must remember that although this title has excellent characters and worldbuilding, and it's fun to hear MC's sand sculpture thoughts, this is ultimately still the kind of story where everything drops into her incompetent... more>> lap from the hands of pampering men. Wish fulfilment ah.

Never mind, the writing is good enough to make up for everything. Once transformed by the author's warped narration, the savagery of the plot becomes no more than stage decoration. The MC can distinguish favour from falseness, there is character development, and the situational ironies are awesome. Would recommend. 5 stars. <<less

I quite enjoyed reading this story even though there’s alot jump here and there and there seem another 2 story slide in. (Maybe those are intro, I didn’t noticed?) Anyway the phoenix story is quite cute, love her little adventures, even though author doesn’t touch her origin background, the story just start from there. So MC first encounter second male lead and third male lead. Second male lead is her first love and is the king of phoenix and third male lead is a fairy emperor.

I think (kinda forgot hehe) she's met the fairy emperor first when she's been falsely taken as a chicken. The fairy emperor is on the run and heavily injured. I think he's a prince when they met and on the edge of getting the throne.

After that she's met the king of phoenix. He take her away since he's pitying her for being falsely taken as a chicken when she's just a grey phoenix. The king fall in love with her in the end, but still got entangled with his past lover for 20 years that been kidnapping by the ex-fairy emperor (if im not wrong since the third male lead will be the next emperor). The past lover is a dragon girl (phoenix and dragon is supposedly be a couple). When the dragon girl is find out again and entangled with the king of phoenix, MC saw it and said to him that she's gonna leave him for that.

When she's leaving him she's encounter our ML, the demon god which still fighting a war with the gods. In the end she's got taken to the demon world.

The demon god kinda chill with her and let her do her things, but his sons (he made them so there's no waifu) very disagreed with her.


The oldest is really cold like his father and the youngest is really mischievous and always find trouble with her. The youngest is the one that recognized her as his mother after alot of efforts form her ofc.

they have two children. I don't know if they're a twins or not. The translation only said the purple robe child and the black robes child. The black robe child is the supposed that have a tremendous power almost like his father, the demon god. And got spoiled by them. Both child only listen to their father and MC really helpless for them.

I enjoyed reading the raw but hope there's a clear translation of it's since I felt I missed a lot of the jokes when reading using the translation machines. Both interaction of ML and MC must be funny as hell hahah

I read ahead on the RAW. This story is funny, but not hilarious. You need a bit of patience to get through it. The best thing about the novel was the MC, hands down. She's awesome! The other best thing about this novel is the ML utter protectiveness of the MC and his badassness that she admires but ignores anyway and does whatever she wants. ML is a good, traditional ML. He's the trademark ML - the most feared, the most blunt, the most everything and tolerates nothing (so he... more>> would have outsiders believe). At times I was confused along with MC - was ML smart or s*upid? He could be both at different times hahaha!!

I enjoyed it. Some other characters were annoying, but they were outsiders and didn't get much screentime. <<less

I love this novel so much. The interactions are very realistic, MC's character is has a very good mindset. Generally a very good novel to enjoy, very worthwhile.

Nice read, a little predictable. I didn’t really feel their relationship until the end, so most of the book it just felt like she was looking for a strong man to take care of her. The ending had a little surprise to it and ended well. It made me even cry. Thanks for the translation!

Like it a lot, was more in love with the MC than anyone else. She has such a cute and loveable personality ❤️‍🔥

The story gets a bit confusing at times, there are parts that are well fleshed out, while other parts you just get rushed so you kinda just have to go "oh ok I guess that happened" and keep reading. Still loved it tho

So yeah, I might pick this up in the future again but for now imma just withold it for another time. To be fair, I doubt that I really gave it a chance but, well... exactly three chapters in, I got totally confused.

So phoenix MC dies two chapters in (no joke) but when chapter three comes along she is perfectly fine (no explanations given). I figured that I accidentally read ahead but indeed; I checked, I did not. Also, I think that there was a brand new set of characters introduced in chapter three that replaced those from chapters one and two. However, to be fair, I can never really tell with Chinese names.

In any case, I liked the comedy in the story and the plot does appear to have some potential; I prefer strong female leads tho... this one is a bit too weak... Maybe in the future, if I have time I will pick this up again. Unfortunately, for now, I'm really not up for a somewhat confusing read and I don't really want to give it the time to unravel (nor do I really have the time ~ reading in general is a form of procrastination for me... sigh)

TL;DR It's a bit too confusing for my liking. Will probably pick it up again in a few months.

Also, the translation speed for this novel it kinda slow; likewise, for that matter, so is the actual (publishing speed by the author) relative to other CNs.
