This is such a fluff and cute story!! The story have good pace of romance as well as the plot is good too. Especially the part where ML used a lot of tricks in another civilisation to get them to their side. Their children are cute. And all the characters are well written and have their roles.

Although they never told I love you to each other, it's warm to see their love in their protection for each other.

This was so good. Just a reminder that this is Mpreg!! Cause if u don't want it, I don't think this is for u, but seriously this was so good. I read it non stop and even when I had to sleep, I was reluctant to pause. It was good in a way that it has the perfect blend of supernatural, fantasy, comedy, action, family, friends. Idk it's really my type. Ren Sheng is very likeable, his naivety is totally understandable but he is OP and I mean very OP in some aspects. Zhao Lingyu is also a pretty suitable ML for Ren Sheng and I like how they liked each other, no dramas and no pushing, they really liked each other. There aren't much really romantic scenes when compared to others but it didn't feel like it lacked anything. Even the side couples were likeable which is rare for me cause I usually only wanna focus on one couple per novel, but this one, the addition of the side couples were smooth and I liked it. The babies were so cute hehehe Big baby is bullied in the beginning aww hahah so cute tho, and became a connection, again a smooth one. Now that I think about it, their names weren't really used after the naming part HAHAHAHA Second baby, lol, this glutton, I liked how Lingyu said he is the one most like Ren Sheng hahahah Third baby is so cute too lol, always sleepy. Fourth baby HAHAH his simple reactions are funny, he really seems like what lingyu must've been before. It's sad that Elder Fang died sigh. The other character are also good, Shen Qiushu, Zhao peng, little green, uncle teng, Chenjun, Gred, crohn, Keith. I liked them all. The ending of extras tho hahaha more pls

The plot is very interesting, from start to finish!! I liked it very much.

Reread? Well, it actually felt longer than it actually is, hmm thinking abt it.

If you are into male pregnancy this one is for you. It's a light read good for when you want to read something very specific and absolutely won't take anything serious. It's similar to A guide to raise your natural enemy, but the pregnancy stuff in this one is better. I don't think the MC is s*upid, he just thinks like a plant spirit.

Very cute! The extras are lackluster due to the abrupt ending, but IMO they weren't necessary for the plot anyway.

Very cute and fluffy! Nothing serious and very sweet family life.

This novel is so good BUT BUT THE ENDING! 😭😭🥲 Bad author, the ending really tease us readers dem, I need more🥲🥲

Aww anyway it really a nice read, the translation is so good too.

No heavy plot, cute children too.

Just sometimes I wonder how it look when RS is pregnant, since its on top of his head in human form. I mean it make me imagine something and give me goosebumps (?) 😂

I will miss them aww, why cant there be more, I really love this story really.

I liked the other stories of this author more.

ML and MC gave me the vibe of A guide to raising your natural enemy by the same author. A somewhat naive MC who possess super learning skills that was transmigrated from a cultivation universe. A ML that is about to die and falls quickly for MC. Same characteristics and personality.

Loved the first 2/3 of this story a lot. It was mostly about the couple and their family. But then the story became less exciting when it got more 'plot'. In... more>> general, plot is great, but only if it is executed well. If not, then I rather prefer continued focus on fluff and romance. That's the case here... the plot became boring, also fillers and new characters that I was not so interested in. Romance became more and more secondary. Also, the kids were too smart and spoke like adults. Cute baby moments were very limited.

Also, it's a pity that the Extras weren't great. It didn't feel like Extras, it lacked fluff and romance, which is usually the purpose of the Extras. It was more like fillers about boring stuff. <<less

I loved the innocent, cute, oblivious MC to a certain point but it to the where I was like that's enough! There are way too many unnecessary characters in this story, why do we need to know about everyone's back story? I liked that the MC and ML fell in love very quickly but the so called romantic scenes where 'meh' every is getting pregnant oh it's such a bore! This novel isn't the best but it isn't the worst either.

Yes, MC is extremely naive.

Yes, the romance development is too fast and problems are basically nearly immediately solved.

This novel isn't really for those who are searching for good-chemistry romance, action, exciting plot, etc.

This one is basically fluff with a lot of things brushed over. The progress of the plot is very predictable too so you really can't expect much with that said.

It's possible to read through this if you really really don't have anything else to read or if you're basically searching for a novel that's light hearted with no expectations for plot development or whatever. <<less

This novel is good enough for light reading. The character interactions are a little funny. But MC is a little too s*upid in my opinion. Never knowing the human world before but his clear level of intelligence didn't make him too s*upid. That part irritated me a bit. Some parts of the story are a bit boring because they are too long and don't have any interesting parts. Sorry for the bad English.

Quite entertaining. I love it.

Some people have a bad review about this story all I can say its all a matter of individual difference in taste and preferences.

For me its a really good story and I love it. 🥰 Give it a try too. Maybe you like it too like I did.

Starting was very good.. It was hilarious and entertaining.. The naive protagonist was too adorable to bear.. I even wanted to rate it 5/ 5.. But the story dragged on and became boring towards the end..

The Ginseng boy really has a treasure body.. He can do anything.. And so does his husband.. And you can just imagine the rest of the plot.. Didn't know if the translation is dropped or not.. I love this story. I don't know why you're all nitpicking about a plant who became human. Probably because your flowers at home are mature?🤭 What can you expect for a plant who only knows how to cultivate? Anyway the story is cute and you should read for enjoyment not for criticism. It's an interesting plot and world building but it just gets kind of boring after a while.

The MC doesn't seem to be getting any character development and ML doesn't seem to have a personality outside of his guilt about his juvenile lover and being a Marshal.

I think this could be enjoyable if it were shorter like Interstellar Species. It's a nice read for in-between but it's just too long.

4.6 stars. A funny and interesting read. Just to clarify, the MC looks young but is in fact much older. There is a misunderstanding that he is a child because he looks 12 or 13 and lacks knowledge about the world he fell into. However, when the ML comes to know the MC's real age, I started to find the ML a bit of a jerk. The ML behavior causes typical relationship issues by selfishly wanting to keep MC innocent and dumb. The MC is a quick learner and is... more>> willing to ask questions and try things. The ML is controlling more than he should even if he is also doing it to protect MC. At the beginning it's okay because they just met, but later keeping MC naive just seems problematic in my opinion. Otherwise, the couple does care about each other and MC is really sweet and quick to accept how he feels for ML. Love the big villain empire characters because villains need to be smart too so glad it wasn't just dumb bad guys/gals. The other characters are enjoyable to know about as well. <<less

Well, for creativity, this book is worth 100. But for the plot, that was not very satisfying. The beginning was good. I binge read. But later the plot got boring. I mean the MC did not fully integrate with the new environment. He is all about himself like the world rotates around him. And characters were bland. There was humour but it was very silly at the same time. Later it was all about making babies which made it really bad. The whole thing is about babies.

Usually I'm able to complete any novel I read, no matter how much I dislike it, but this one is really not for me.

I'd give this a 2/5 stars but since I didn't actually finish reading the novel, I'll refrained from actually rating it.

There were a couple things that made me uncomfortable while I was reading.

MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH THE TAGS BEFORE READING!

When they say shota, they mean shota. The ML has an attraction to the MC, who has the appearance of a young boy/teen. Although the MC is more than 10, 000 years old, his current body and mentality are that of an actual child's so it's a bit disturbing to see him get into s*xual situations although the author tries to play it off innocently on the MC's part.

I honestly felt a bit bad for the ML in beginning, when he was realizing that he fell in love with the MC (thinking that he was an actual child) and was willing to wait for him to grow up to be an adult before starting a relationship with him.

At least that was before the ML let the MC eat (?) his c*m for energy/nutrients. That crossed the line for me.

Geez, the MC is mentally a kid and his current body age is that of a child! He literally has no idea what he's eating!

2. Body horror (?)

Honestly I don't know how to describe this scenario. I'd say c*nnibalism but it's not quite that either.

So the MC is actually a ginseng plant but mostly maintains a human form now. Given that the ML and his father are unwell and he, as a ginseng plant, has the ability to heal them, thats what he does. He takes parts of his body (cuts off parts of his roots, gives blood, etc.) to heal them all the while people in question don't know what they're actually eating to get better.

Although the author once again portrays this in a funny way its quite disturbing once you actually think about people unknowingly eating another person's body part. Even though the MC isn't actually a human, I still treat him as one since he has intelligence and is able to communicate.

Another thing I didnt like is how the MC is giving out his bath/hand wash water for people to drink without telling them what it is. That's disgusting.

So the thing that I didn’t like most about this was the consent behind it on the patients (?) part.

Fluffy, Slice of Life set in an interstellar world. MC is a spirit plant (a ginseng spirit, to be more specific), that threw himself into a wormhole to escape some rotten cultivators wanting to eat his nourishing body. His body ends up landing in an interstellar world, where he’s mistaken for the the fiancé of the near-death Marshall (ML) that the Human Federation admires. MC goes along with it cause the ML has the kind of energy that he needs!

This story has a lot of elements thrown in. But the... more>> main focus is exploring the setting. Especially when it comes to the MC’s identity as a ginseng spirit and the fact that people with abilities have a difficult time getting pregnant.

CHARACTERS: 9/10

Although the characters here are pretty much your typical types, they’re still pretty charming and have fun and quirky personalities. There’s lots of side characters involved too, but the author has a talent for making them memorable despite brief appearances.

Ren Sheng (MC)

Innocent!Shou. He’s 100, 000 years old physically but his mental age is lower than most characters. His physicality makes him pretty OP — to the point of Gary-Stu-ness — but his quirky personality makes him likeable!

Zhou Lingyu (ML)

Domineering!Gong who is warm to the MC but plenty cold to everyone else. He’s also pretty OP, though he starts off weak because an incident had caused havoc in his body (forcing him to live in pain and with an uncooperative body).

ROMANCE: 7.5/10

The romance in this story is a bit of a personal taste thing? The shota tag makes this pretty clear 🤧 I don’t personally mind since the MC is actually older than the ML and capable of consenting, but if him looking like a teen bothers you, then best not read it!

SETTING: 10/10

This is set in a world where there are humans with special abilities (similar to the types you see in Zombie Apocalypse novels LOLOL), and these people have a difficult time giving birth. For the interstellar age; where people live hundreds of years, this is pretty troublesome. The arrival of the MC shakes things up a lot and contributes to the plot greatly — making the setting stand out.

PLOT: 7.5/10

I enjoyed the plot at first, that’s for sure. But the ending arc is pretty boring (which is why I stopped reading). I think I was satisfied at around the ch. 90s. I would have stopped then, but decided to push a little more until I eventually gave up right before the end 😂. Anyway, as mentioned, the main plot is the pregnancy issue and the MC’s unique background as a spirit plant that lived in a cultivation world for thousands of years.

RATING: 4.2/5

Although I didn’t finish the story, I think positively of it! I didn’t expect to like it so much, but the Setting really captured me! Highly recommended for that reason~!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

  • Personal Enjoyment: 4.5/5! This was really surprisingly very good! Unexpectedly fun to read. Has a sort of awkward charm.
  • Literary Level: Far from a masterpiece 3/5. The writing is awkward and a bit clumsy at times. But the well establish setting and characters made up for it! As for the translation, the one I read was from OnTimeStory; which I found pretty good 👍
  • Heat Level: Although there are some scenes where the Main CP (as well as Side CPs) have s*x, it’s never explicit. Most of it is fade-to-black; with only a couple suggestive parts. 1/5!!

The interaction between MC and ML is hilarious 💕 before I was wondering about the title and when I read it, tt was bc the MC is a ginseng plant and literally everything about him is a treasure.

It was cute. A bit boring sometimes. Very simple story overall. If you go into it knowing that the fic is mostly fluff with a heavy emphasis on cultural misunderstands (cause MC is a ginseng who cultivated and ML is from interstellar) and babies.
