ADORABLE ADORABLE SUPER GOOD MUST READ

Their relationship progression is both hilarious and realistically portrayed!! I really love their relationship with each other, as well as both characters individually. MC is funny and cute, ML is aloof and smart, very classic. But the way they bicker and interact with each other is adorable, and coupled with how their entire university is shipping them harder than they're shipping each other, it's just too funny HAHAHA I wish at the end it was exposed to everyone that they actually WEREN'T going out when... more>> everyone thought they were, that'd definitely be hilarious, although they'd probably not believe it.

I love all of the side characters too. Tbh the friends don't really have specific personalities, but there's so many of them it wouldn't make sense for them to do so haha. The exploration of familial ties is also really great. I really love Ye Heng, and how much he really treasures MC (that's why I'm so sad about that last side story; what the heck, is she a good girl or not?????). Although he subconsciously rejects gays, for the sake of his brother he makes himself understand. The Shang family as a whole though is more lovable, especially Shang Youyou, and hehe Shang Qingping that tsundere.

The pacing is also perfect; it's definitely a slice of life story, not very dramatic but a heartwarming read. Those that enjoy this genre, would definitely enjoy this story. Characters are great, plot is great, translation is great, no real complaints. Also, there's only one PG-13+ scene, which can easily be skipped.

i would recommend this to anyone who is having a crappy day! This novel will make you laugh!!!

So far, this is a cute, fluffy slice-of-life series about college kids teasing the hell out of each other. It made me laugh. If I were there, though, I'd probably beat the dickens out of my roommates... The two lead characters are funny together. I wish the story would focus more on the psychological impact of their childhoods, but it's a pretty light-hearted series. Although this has comedy, it doesn't have much else.

This novel has nice relationship development, it's somehow realistic and MC is not tsundere it's just he has a stubborn and somehow low EQ, but when realizing he has his own ideas and will say them

I think it’s nice, I love the MC. From the synopsis, I thought he was gonna be the cutesy type of character, and tsundere, but he wasn’t which was a nice change from one I just read. I like to see how their interactions lead to ML expressing more emotions. The only thing is is that I would’ve liked it more if there was something else to bring them together rather than other people pushing them closer due to misunderstandings, but that’s all. <<less

It has no boring chapters and I like the comedy and the drama! I love how their relationship started as enemies to friends to lovers! A cute short read!

What a wonderful story! I came to read this because of how polarised opinions were... I understand why some people couldn't go through with it, the misunderstanding and classmates might seem too much, however, knowing it's tagged as comedy, if you can go through the very beginning, you definitely will not be disappointed. Eventually you might even find the nosy classmates really endearing and funny. MC and ML become a couple in the most realistic and healthy way, through deep understanding and friendship. This is a very good read.

In all honesty, I'm not in a good condition right now due to my flu, but I just felt like I have the obligation to write this review because I saw so many low stars for this novel, but one's enjoyment is subjective, and so do mine. I'm just going to share my personal opinion after reaching chapter 33.

I can see how this novel might not be for some people, though, in my case, it's just perfectly my taste. It's so hilarious, I just love the dynamic between the MC... more>> and the ml. I've read other reviews that said this novel contains very cliche character tropes but somehow manage to make it not cliche at all, and dare I say; even humanize those said cliche tropes.

The pacing is just perfect; neither too fast nor too slow, I haven't reached the ending yet so I wouldn't know if it will stay the same till the end chapter. For those that said the classmates are too nosy, I must agree, though I think that's one of the charms of this novel, the nosy hilarious classmates.

This far into the novel, the story isn't dark at all unlike the usual novel that I would read, it's kind of slice of life. And the romance is built from small, mundane, but sweet activities between the MC and the ml. The MC is loud, loves to talk, and the ML is a bit cold and aloof, they're very different from one another with the ML being so antisocial lmao, while the MC befriends everyone from left and right and has a charming personality, but despite all the differences they both are very similar to one another and they complement each other completely.

Overall, this novel is a very easy read, sweet, and hilarious. I think I can consider this slow burn, just minus the burn of the angst, but what do I know, I haven't even reached half of the story yet:3

I adore both the MC and the ML and all the endearing side characters, it's comical, and while reading it you mustn't take everything too seriously to enjoy them. And even when the focus is mostly comedy, there are many beautiful wise words that I found that touch my heart, maybe due to the relatable feelings that the novel gives out.

Idk, I'll stop here, I'll probably ramble too much if I continue hahaha. What I'm gonna say is, you must give this novel a try if you're curious because I think it's worth it! The good and bad of a novel is a very subjective matter, I didn't have high hopes when I start, but here I am loving this novel and enjoying it very much! So go give it a try!

A simple and entertaining coming of life novel with misunderstandings that started the whole he-bang hehe

4.5* This is a veeeery slow burn romance full of misunderstandings.
Ye zhou decides to trade some photos of the most "handsome and popular" student in his uni (Shang Ji) for some photos of his crush Tang dongdong who is studing in other university. BUT he gets caught taking the pics so obviously everyone thinks his crush is this guy in his class, Shan ji.

This is the first of tonsss where their friends and finally all the uni are convinced that he really is totally in love with Shang Ji and are one to help him to catch the boy 😂!

Is really chill, lowkey funny story, but I really end up loving the characters and feel a bit sad saying goodbye 💕

It's also hilarious because the misunderstandings are just too adorable and there was even a point that it escalated so much that the rumors even involved the supernatural 😂. As for what that supernatural things is and how it escalated, you'd better read it for yourself 💕.

Overall, this novel is beautiful plus the translation is also good! I'd give it an overall score of 4.8/5. It really deserves its high rating here at NU.

Omg. This was such a great fluffy story! Loved it!💖

Plot:: Everything MC did, he always came in second to ML so he didn't like ML much lol! There were always little incidents and misunderstanding situations between the two whenever they met so people kept thinking that MC liked ML. Whenever MC tried to fix those little situations he just ended up digging his own grave deeper making everyone, including ML, misunderstood that MC liked ML. So yeah, with all these they slowly started to fall for each other.

The story is really good and it's quite mature. There is no big angst in this story and the storyline is hilarious with their roommates and university. The story isn't in-depth but it's not shallow either.

The ML Shang Jin is now officially in my list of the most favorite and admirable MLs ever. He is calm but he is not cold, he never hurt MC even a slightest bit and always accepts him as he is.

Sooo, my friend actually recommended me this series, since she knew I love me some cute BL stuff. First of all, their companionship/relationship is so wholesome. Even before they revealed their feelings with each other, them being inseparable was just *keyboard slam*. I'd give this a four because the romance was kinda dry. But anyways, it was still good.

Pretty good, really light, It doesnt have to much drama. At the start you may wonder why MC doesnt just say everything blunty ir why his friends and the entire class ignore him. But I think the relationship (platonic and romantic) between MC and ML Is really nice and realistic, It doesnt feel too "romance novel" type, but more like just two guys who like each other. The comedy Alsoe Fels kinda down to earth. I recomend it
