The ending was a big 'wait thats the end!?'
Sometimes the MC is literally just a backup character and honestly its interesting on how a small change in the story turned into a butterfly effect. ML sometimes pops in the story at the middle like a background character xD you really be wouldnt predict it until they appear. Sometimes he can be seen at the start, middle or when the problem has already solved itself.
Theres already a hint on who the ML and MC were. It was casually thrown in a few interaction with the system before going to the next world but never truly expounded. That hint later comes back and be confirmed at the end but honestly that wasnt enough but the same time I kinda sorta get it.
basically past life cliches and these missions by the MC is something that helps the ML too. Turns out ML is mc's boss in this system world
Honestly a lot of the plots of the stories here can be expounded more. I love the plot settings
for example the last arc with the super hero plotline was rly intriguing and I haven't seen that in transmigration stories before. But the ending was so abrupt and the Sky City element wasn't properly explained in my opinion.
like why is the MC always a child and the ML at the LEAST a young adult?? In the end it's implied the ML raised MC in wtv cultivation world they originated from? Weird. And the history between them wasn't explained at all. Is the ML the big boss who's asleep? They never say. How did MC know ML in each world? They barely showed him truly thinking about whether this was the ML that followed him. MC would just bam get into a relationship with someone. And they also barely showed scenes of them together in love or pursuing each other, sometimes the ML and MC would get together at the very very end of the arc, almost like an afterthought.
So many arcs where the MC just lives his life and the original protagonist f*cks up their life on their own. MC will at best do some behind the scenes manipulation but the og protagonists were always so dumb and vindictive for no reason that it barely required any involvement. And why were the villains almost always women? (A common trope in these type of stories but still annoying)
