Ending is the trope where everyone (and I mean everyone) loses their memories. The ending/final battle also feels extremely rushed. The extras don't make it better for me, it feels cheap reading about characters who aren't the ones you knew since they lost all their memories.
Ying and Nie Cuo's past could have been more thoroughly explained. Duan Li's facial disfigurement was also never explained aside from saying he must have gotten it in the real world. Fen YuLan had the potential to be an OP mage, it was even mentioned by Shadow that he has lots of talent.
Nie Cuo's power was very hyped when it was revealed he was the one who defeated Xing Yan's original team. But after it got revealed, it's never mentioned how Abyss!LJ beats him (and stalker!Xing Yan) half to death in the final battle.
I'm always a sucker for time travel f*ckery where there is no distinction between the past, present, and the future. Unfortunately, the author also uses this excuse to "whitewash" the messed up romance of the main CP; basically they've /always/ been "in love" with each other because the future was the past etc.
