The moment the little tyrant of the nobles, Roel Ascart, saw his stepsister, he recalled his memories. He realized that he was in the world of a gal game he played in his previous life. To make things worse, he was the greatest villain in the common route of the game!

“I’ll be killed by the main character and the four capture targets ten years from now. Is there still any hope for me?”

Just thinking about the fearsome glints of those sharp swords those beautiful capture targets held in their hands, Roel couldn’t help but tremble in fear.

Till a voice finally sounded in his head.

Enjoyed it enough to want to read the raws, but if there's one thing that put a damper on the story, it'd have to be the harem. Especially the first two women, Alicia and Nora, whose actions are more often than not unbearable to read about. I could learn to live with Nora, but Alicia remains unlikeable until the very end of the novel. To make matters worse, the MC is indulgent of her actions and no matter what it is she does, so long as she cries he'll forgive... more>> her. She knows this and intentionally exploits his kindness, never feeling guilty for her actions. The only woman amongst his harem that I genuinely like is Charlotte, easily the best girl.

Also don't know what it is with authors of these sort of novels inserting grown men into the bodies of children and having them adopt the mentality of a child as well. The MC being a virg*n in his previously life doesn't mean he should be entirely naive to matters between men and women. With how dense the MC is, I'd believe it if somebody told me this was a JP novel. He gets better later on, say past chapter 350, but before then in regard to his relationships, his actions were always frustrating to read read about.

As for the story/plot itself, it was genuinely interesting, although most of the time, most events are only a catalyst for a budding relationship with one of his women.

I can understand the many bad reviews on this novel, because if I didn't tough it out as I was desperate for something new to read, I would've long dropped the novel because of his sister and Nora. The story simply isn't good enough to make most people want overlook their actions and read past it with a positive attitude. <<less

The story is decent and interesting. Particularly fond of the MC abilities as the idea is special and allows for important plot reveals and story building.

My main issue is with Alicia, being a manipulative little sister and MC lacking a spine to educate her. It becomes unbearable in the later part of the story. Even after the time skip the actions are beyond childish and MC turns a blind eye because he is a 30 year old virg*n.

My only wish is for the characters to have some restraint and maturity... more>> in their actions. <<less

This has to be one if the best stuff ever. Sure, the side characters and the main heroines could need some work, but the world building is amazing. You can just feel how important and thought out the history that is hidden behind the world that the author had made. The story is fun to read, filled with many badass and awesome fight scenes. If the author does one thing right, it is his way of describing a scene. Everything just feels rich.

One of my favorite parts of the series is when he fights the origin level 1 magician king, and uses tempest caller. Roel is a badass

I give it a 4/5 because it's still an entertaining read despite the flaws it has - of which mostly surrounds the MC.

Pros:

    • Good plot structure so far
    • Interesting power system
    • All the girls introduced so far have been unique and entertaining - there hasn't really been a winner thus far. All ships seem to be neck and neck.
Cons (mostly opinion) :

    • MC is 'dense'/passive - doesn't matter if it's subconscious or intentional
    • Author explains a lot of pointless logic that doesn't impact the story almost as filler
    • Galge setting, but towards the latter part of the story seems as if this has no bearing on the story anymore
    • The MC is portrayed to be pretty intelligent but fails to react appropriately. As a reader, it's frustrating to read his opinion and actions sometimes especially when it comes to questions about himself, his powers or his lovers. I'd imagine this will be one of the main problems he'll end up fixing later on.
    • If this doesn't end as a harem ending...

Great series I am caught upto chapter 635 and every small details explain in the beginning is basically a foreshadowing for next arc in this novel and some people who only read 10 to 50 chapters and complain in comment section are as*hole so please don't write review if you have not read the whole novel so a suggestion from fellow reader read this novel right now

This novel is an OK novel in my opinion, the concept behind the novel is really good, the mystery is really good and the setting of the story is also good. My problem with this novel stems from the author's horrible writing, the author adds too much filler and little to no less monologue in most chapters, it is all explanations and rewording of stuff we already know, for example, if Roel (MC) goes to the library, we have to read 2/3 of the page explaining about the librarian's life... more>> when it's literally a minor character that only got mentioned once in the story. I find the concept hella dope, cuz I have been reading this but I skip reading at least half the page every time I read because I can't be bothered with all the unecsscary information. I do recommend reading this but u need to have patience. <<less

it's an okay from me,

just beware from my experience reading all CN novels till now, I can confidently say CN can't write a good romance story (or I don't find it in this web),

the story is great but it's main story is still his harem, his journey in the end is just a means to "get" capture target that's why it's a mediocre.

"little tyrant, bad end" it's all just a gimmick, in the end it's your usual isekai adventures with KR style rather than JP.

Spoiler

already read past 200 chapter but there's no sign of it's supposed "MC" in his original game but miraculously 3 out of 4 main heroines already his harem,

and don't start about his EQ towards his harem there's none, he's suddenly just a super dense black hole and even author became inconsistent when it's about his attitude toward his harem, in 1 chapter he admittedly already knows their feeling for him but in the next he just forget it all and back to dense brick classic MC again.

worst of all this story mainly center about he and his harem, in every adventure there's at least 1 girl accompanied him.

if you can stomach his "uselessness" go ahead, for me personally will start to drop it in chapter 217 after all fiasco about "kidnapping", all harem already brawling it seriously and our "glorious" MC "conveniently" can't hear and see it.

sure in the future maybe I will read this again, but after I got a little "refreshed" from this s*upid MC.

Good story and awesome world building. The MC is op, cold and really smart when it comes to fight.

The four fMCs are of different personalities (two yanderes, one sadist, one cold and obsessive). There will be many waifu wars and drama regarding this

The MC is dense at start but gets a really good character development when it comes to love

Definitely worth reading

Love this novel. The author does a pretty good job of making me indecisive about who the "main waifu" should be. The plot keeps just getting better as the story goes on and you can find vital information in the earlier chapters that you don't understand at the beginning but as you get hundreds of chapters down the road, those clues or foreshadowing ties in together with the story. Love that the author knew exactly what he wanted to do with the story and it really shows

This feels like reading a magazine you don't particularly like.

This novel has a several problems, the pacing for example; it's consistently slow even during the chapters that have some action.

The exposition is heavy, lots of things being explained to you all the time. Do I really want to hear about how a kingdom founded by merchants came to be? Nah, I don't think so.

The power system is uninteresting, and it feels too easy to climb. If instead of levels from 7 to 1 the author had chosen names for it... more>> (like we see in some xianxia novels), then perhaps it would feel like there's a big difference between levels. BTW, there's nothing particularly interesting about the spells either.

The cheat makes the story worse and cheaper. I dislike that he can ask questions to the system, it's just more exposition. Also the author doesn't do a good job with foreshadowing; Sometimes the MC just pulls something out of his ass and say "What? This? I bought from the system a while ago."

The 7 year old girls from this story aren't cute, they are "beautiful". The 10 years olds are flirty, play domination games, and make suggestive jokes. The adults (maids and servants) are kinda creepy too, they watch kinds interacting while imagining some passionate love story going on, with a fervor that borders voyeurism.

I dislike this novel, and I regret reading it. <<less

Amazing doesn't begin to describe this story, the characters are very well written, the pacing is on point and there is hardly any point in this story that could make you feel even distantly bored. Even those who avoid harem stories like the plague will enjoy this one.

The story itself is okay. It's pretty mediocre and personally I would give it a 2.5 at best. A passive overpowered system appears out of nowhere and basically allows the protagonist to whip out long lost ancient treasures out of thin air. He uses with little caution despite it going against the logic of the world... but whatever. I have accepted such tropes. At least he could lie and say it is a spell or whatever. On the other hand, the world building regarding the bloodlines and origin attributes are... more>> pretty interesting and probably the most interesting part of this book and what kept me reading.

The novel can get serious and have some really nice battles. The monologues can also be pretty interesting. While the setting is a little lacking, for there are at most 5 to 6 countries that have been named despite there being supposedly hundreds of them of differing sizes. A 100 chapters in and I have yet to see any details about what the state of the world is or how the political landscape of these nations affect the world. It is very barebones.
If the setting is lacking then you'd imagine that the author would focus more on making strong characters, right? Well, kind of.

As of chapter 112, most of the characters are very one-dimensional except for a couple. Most of the time, the entire shtick of a character is that they have some "misunderstanding" about the protagonist and... that's it. Most of the side characters are not fleshed out at all. The harem members are okay. Alicia is especially a pretty nice character with her own aspirations, desires and fears. Nora is also in this category, and her domineering personality can be fun to read. Other characters such as villains or rivals come with some superficial description of their past at best or no fleshing out at all.
The worst part of this novel though are the misunderstandings that I mentioned, the author would randomly curb the abilities or intelligence of the protagonist or other side characters just to force some contrived misunderstanding to occur. Which is simply jarring to read especially when they are juxtapositioned with the more serious parts of this novel. Worse is that the author does these over a dozen times just to steer the story in a certain direction. It is not organic or natural.
If this was an absurdist comedy, there would be no issue. But it is not. These are very tiring to sit through and make the characters seem inconsistent. Roel will scam a person and see through the intentions of someone through their body language in a previous chapter, yet be completely oblivious to the actions and feelings of literally everyone around him in the next. It's dumb. The author has made it so that these "lighthearted romance" scenes are the worst part of the novel for me. I wonder if the author is afraid writing something real in this aspect? It feels childish.
As is the case most of the time, the protagonist is a generic transmigrator/NEET/nerd for no reason. In fact, at the start of the novel he has absolutely no mission or desire besides not dying and even wishes the system was one that issued quests so that he doesn't have to make his own decisions. The author decides throw this personality out the window later own and makes him out to be determined and filled with valor. The only contribution that the status of transmigrator seems to give him is... he is a little more mature for his age? but it is not by much. He occasionally shows his wisdom once in a while though. He isn't privy to any large secrets about the world he is in. If anything, he lacks a ton of info. So... yeah. Pointless.

All in all, it is quite mediocre in most aspects but has a little bit of potential if you can stomach most of the gripes I have detailed here. If you still like isekai fantasy then you can give it a go. Personally, I may or may not continue this one in the future unless I run out of things to read.
Note: As someone before me said, the translator issues "quests" to release more chapters. So be skeptical of the high rating of this novel (4.4/5). This novel is interesting and I have no doubt many people enjoy it, but this kind of quality would usually sit at a 3.5 to 4.0 on NU. Of course, this is just my opinion after having read a 1/3rd of the translation and giving my first impression. <<less

I really enjoy reading this and it is a great read for anyone who likes isekai or just some harem thrash. I'm not gonna mention much cause of spoilers but its about a guy getting reincarnated as a villian of a game where he gets ultimately killed cause the game counterpart is a bit*h. But of course he's a different person now so that all changes.

Honestly, its not exactly everyone's taste so its understandable if anyone doesn't like it, but personally I really like it because even though its a... more>> CN, its writing style is very much similar to its KR and JP counterparts.

The plot is kinda cool and the MC has a really unique power, the harem memebers are also diverse. Currently keeping up with the latest chapters and ya, I'm satisfied.

But keep in mind that this is just my opinion and my view, so this should just give you a perpective not a fact, so if you wanna read it, its your choice.

Have a great day. <<less

I really enjoyed this series. The plot is well planned with effective use of foreshadowing. Unlike the many WN's that have events happen out of nowhere by the writer's whims, all the arcs for this series fit together well.

There is quite a bit of explanation text on the power system and heavy focus on the world's history. I am quite fond of reading fantasy history, but if you can't stand explanations and just want action then this is not for you.

I find the romance amusing, but many others find it... more>> frustrating. It's a typical love triangle and the MC is indecisive. The MC is aware of the feelings of the heroines and has feelings for them back, but will not choose one of them. I'm ok with this situation, since the rivalry between heroines are entertaining. <<less

  1. Chapter 63: What can I say, I've been reading so many ln and wn recently from all over, mostly KR/JP and when I decided to try the cn stories I was devastated by the weak story and somewhat good humour here and there, luckily this wn has given me hope that cn stories can be good as well, now onto my thoughts about the story. Pros:

    1. Yes, this is an isekai/reincarnation story with a similar twist to " tr*sh of the counts family" which is not really a problem, I do not hate on any story having and overused trope /genre as long as the writing is good and the story expands on it or makes good use of said tropes/genres, and that is the case here, the writing is excellent (many thanks to the translation team who did an amazing job bringing this to us) , the isekai/reincarnation plot is used well and in an enjoyable manner

    2

THERE IS NO "YOUNG MASTER MUST BE COURTING DEATH" BULLsh*t IN THIS ONE, A FACT THAT BROUGHT ME GREAT JOY

    3. The characters are well written and the power scaling is not the worst I've ever seen

    4. The MC is a bit dense but that's fine, its not as annoying here as the dense beta japanese MC because there is no girls wanting his children every 2 damn seconds of the story (my main disappointment with many jp stories) , however, there is a harem aspect present.

    5. The MC past life is not brought in to the story (so far) for any kind of political or nationalistic reason (a thing that all asian writers suffer from, I get it, you belong to -insert- country and are proud of it, but going too far on that aspect may not go so well)

    Cons:

    1. The plot is somewhat slow at getting it on, probably because everything is so dragged out with unnecessary fillers here and there (im on c63 and I still have no clue who the big bad is)

These are my thoughts so far, I will edit this comment once I finish the book.

Chapter 153: I somewhat despise the young age of the main cast, why ? Well first off all their interactions are in my mind a constant deal breaker because they are highly unfit for the age said characters are supposed to represent, the MC is even s*upider (in terms of his childishness) than a 10yo girl with no previous life experience carried over, while the MC is 12 in this world, the fact that he had 20+ years of experience in his previous world which he still retains in his memories can explain why he behaves like an adult, but every other cast of main members have no explanation whatsoever.

Secondly, every time the author is describing the appearance and sexiness of the girls im left with a sour taste in my mouth because the listening (I listen to this in audiobook form at work) immersion is broken, I cannot try to imagine a 10/12 yo no matter how he tries to portray her so that's that.

Another issue is that things go a bit too slowly, it gets boring at times because theres entire chapters where a whole lot of nothing happens 99% filler 1% plot, author could have just summarized 3 chapters in like 5 sentences and got the same result.

My rating stays the same for now, will update later in 100 or so Chapters

I began reading this one when I'm looking for an interesting romcom harem novel. The story is not like the usual chinese novel with their overused weak protagonist-bullied-then become suddenly op, then trample anyone/antagonist who dare to mess with the MC.

The story: The MC transmigrated to another world, eroge game, but the one his transmigrated one is one of the small fry villain of the game. He strived to prevent his bad ending by make peace with the heroines of the game, doing anything as long get a happy and... more>> peace ending for him.

The character: The story revolves around the MC and the heroines of the game as female main characters. Each person has their own distinctive character, and their character and interaction make the story live and entertaining. The MC is hardworker, smart but dense in romance, the heroines consist of manipulative sister, sadistic princess, over-caring princess, and strong princess. The MC of the game suprisingly is kind boy.

The setting: Isekai world based on eroge game.

Overall, recommended for people who get bored looking generic harem when the girls are attached with the MC when the MC don't care about them at least after 300-400 ch.

4.5/5 <<less

Actually very good. It would be amazing if he grew emotionally as well as mentally. He acts like a toddler around the FLs, but is generally intelligent otherwise. It is frustrating to see a lack of growth in a dense MC. The magic, lore, and overall plot of this is amazing, but is ruined by the MC through a lack of growth.

I began this and enjoyed it, however I quickly lost interest.

The child arc lasted far too long, I grew bored with our MC and eventually went to read (and get bored of) another novel. I don't even remember how far I read anymore, it was a hundred or so? Maybe more? Eh, it doesn't matter.

Nothing new here. Nothing unique. Interesting items in the shop but ultimately, nothing done with any of it.

I don't know what I expected really. A system that rewards you as you get affection points? That's just... more>> begging for a goody-two-shoes MC, I should've seen it coming but I got smokescreened by the evil items in his system store. <<less

I've read 120 chapters and I've yet to see the MC be overpowered in any sense.

Do people not know the distinction between weak to strong and Overpowered?

overpowered is when the MC in most cases will whoop people's asses on his own. Getting boosts from other people, other people's power (with massive multi month long cool downs) and weapons that don't belong to him don't count IMO.

And wth, the kids are all 8-10 years old and they talk, behave and flirt like 18 year olds, but then they add a... more>> line saying "they don't understand how bad it sounds to a grown up person"

i said expected a lot when I saw those ratings and tags, but the story is too convoluted, the power systems are too vague, the system is almost non existent, and the exposition and random nonsense is everywhere.

time to drop this into the "hold" bin.

Also removed the "overpowered" tag. <<less

  1. C1 - approx C100 review. 2/5 -JP style harem accumulation.

-Basic plot that never gets old.

-Sometimes will give details that does not sound useful in the future. And sometimes there's so much unuseful infomation that those really useful ones became boring to read. Looks like this part will lessen as the story moves on changed rating to 3/5

    -Good Story telling

    -will continue reading

  • Translated 200+ chap with 400 current chaps (TY translator/ awesome raw to translated ratio/ 400+ current chaps is fairly new for CN standards)
  • 400 plus voted with 5star to 40 less votes with 1 star (This should already be a golden title in regards with this rating. And yet it does not feel like that.)
Looks like NU rating for this novel is a bit unreliable. It is as if they were just asking for it....

If this goes on. This novel rating would follow Er Gen and IEatTomatoes and many more masters.
