I was into this fic, because of the "Seme Protagonist" tag. I wouldn't say there is anything bad with the fic. It is decent enough for a read, but not something that I would re-read for the plot.

The plot as such is generic enough to other transmigration stories. I like the story, but it was bland.

Having a good antagonist might have made it more interesting though. I liked the ending... where Yanxi came back with the protagonist, but the Main World setting didn't make much sense to me. I felt like it just went overboard in having the entire royal family thing there.

First of all I would like to thank the translator, because even if they did change the ending, I like the changed ending better. I think the original ending just gives a bad ending to this super cute and fluffy story. The small change by the translator really gives it a much better ending.

So you could be annoyed that the translator slightly changed the ending, I for one appreciate it. Reading the true ending and the translators tweaked one, I'm glad I got the opportunity to have a slightly better ending and not wonder why, how & wtf just happened, because this story is very fluffy; it's also weirdly plotted and has no hardcore antagonist. The protagonist and ML have a very smooth sail throughout, there's no serious conflict and there's lots of dog food everywhere, so why did the author write such... more>> a bizarre ending??? 5 stars to the translator

These stars belong more to the translator tbh.

The story is a bit cliche and while it is 90% fluff and has a few good things, it's a bit difficult to grade. Like the author left these really interesting and unique plot threads, but they would only be used to advance the couple's relationship and after some fluff would be wrapped up behind the scenes. So yay fluff? But also I wish we found out more about the "Protagonist Bottom" mentioned in the summary who just vanished after a while or... more>> the reasoning behind so many of the Protagonist Male Lead's actions.

We're missing a lot of depth in the plot and the characters and the whole transmigration stuff, but on the other hand if the author was aiming for a overall simple story then mission accomplished.

It is fairly short and the MC and ML are cute. The best part is that MC tells the truth about

*Sigh* I'm kind of disappointed.

While the MC and the ML are quite to boot, the story just became bland I can't keep being interested.

Maybe it's not just up to my tastes.

Three stars purely for ML's adorableness.

LMFAO anyways if you want to read a misunderstanding novel with fluffy romance and well-written side characters? I gotchu! This novel is half everything I wanted to read actually the uke is such a tsundere and his development as a character and his point of view of seme is very enjoyable as reader you can laugh and choke at the same time of seme's very flirtatious snarks towards uke is cringe cute, The translation team did very well on translating the words pretty well there were some words I didn't... more>> quite understand but overall that was the good stuff ^^ <<less

MC was very capable and skillful. ML was like a good mature kid with sad background, that almot fell into the crazy yandere psychopath route. There was no direct enemy, no love rival, no immediate danger, it's very peaceful.

It's difficult to switch my view of MC and ML as the respective gong and shou.

I love how the author could write the ML as an epitome of overbearing gong ceo and yes I did feel like this antagonist was very good, cold, and very very gong ML. But then it was... more>> destroyed with how submissively MC treatment toward ML, that MC was actually very dominant in the relationship was a pin hole I managed not to see after a while.

But I feel the author kinda lost the point of the story in the middle toward the end. The ending was.... not fitting or suitable with how the author built up all the tension, the plot and all the characters mentioned. The ending was very lackluster.

By the end of it, I'm still reeling of what kind of conclussion I should draw from this novel. <<less

This is probably one of my favourite stories ever. It's not revolutionary or anything, but it is so, so, so cute. There isn't really any plot, it's pretty much all fluff as the MC wins over and dotes on the ML. MC and ML have a healthy relationship and genuinely seem to care about each other, and ML is adorable. I think this is worth reading just for the ML. He's the type that looks cold on the outside but is actually really soft-hearted, tears up easily, stares at the... more>> MC with starry eyes and then pouts when he gets caught type. If you're looking for a cute webnovel to pass the time with, this is the one. <<less

Ultimate cuteness!! I just love the ML, so cute!! ♥️ Edit: now at chapter 60, I'll have to give this story only 4 stars now because it suddenly became a bit uninteresting or anticlimactic around chapter 40 onwards. I also felt that the ML's character kinda changed or something.

This novel is my second novel in which MC is seme at first I didn't had any expectations for this but as I start reading I found this novel very sweet the interaction between MC and ML is adorable I like how even though ML didn't let the past come in between them and tried to trust MC and how much he care about him 😋😋

It's quite fluffy and full of dog blood. It's a good book to read if one wants to read something light and fluff.

There are some parts that doesn't explain some scenes or skips them, which makes it a bit sad as it confuses me. But other than that it's a good read.

The MC and ML are so cute!!

ML's clingy side is do cute. He overthinks alot, has insecurities, needs constant assurance and is possessive and prideful about his cold-CEO persona. 😂 It's funny how things go on when his cold-CEO... more>> persona melts.

It's a good read. Give it a try.

¡Definitivamente una de mis historias favoritas!

Agregué esta novela a mi lista hace una eternidad, pero es solo ahora (siglos después) que la vengo a leer. Al principio pensé que era de transmigración rápida (un género que no me llama la atención), pero finalmente me di cuenta que no es el caso en absoluto.

Dicho eso, la trama tiene varios huecos (o pozos, dependiendo de como se mire), pero es imposible mol*starse o poner atención a ello, después de todo, mi mente siempre estuvo en la interacción de los protagonistas (la que... more>> es tan adorable y dulce que simplemente me impidió dejar de leer hasta que la finalicé).

El MC es el gong, y es del tipo dedicado y protector.

El ML es el shou, y es del tipo que por fuera tiene una cara de póker y es frío, pero que por dentro en realidad es tímido y llorón.

Simplemente no hay nada que no me haya gustado. Necesitaba una novela soft después de tanto tiempo y me alegra haber llegado aquí donde no existe el drama y la comida para perros era descomunal.

En conclusión: ¡Una novela realmente recomendada! <<less

the author does not know how to set priorities.

And so the beginning was a little reminiscent of a comedy: in the organization of transmigrations, the corporate body and only MC is free to overcome the crisis, but ML receives memories from his previous life and no longer believes the one who occupied the body before MC. Then why is there only one paragraph about skiing on vacation MC and ML, and about what MC is a great actor where everyone licks him almost the whole chapter?

Or else, the author simply says "they had a warm heart-to-heart conversation", but the dialogues the author shows generally do not reveal their close relationship. Or else, the hero is not really interested in the world around him, but most of the chapters are devoted to his career. Well, the chapters after which I finally lost faith and interest are 41-42.

Throwing a banana peel as a villainous plan. The author's explanation about the snow that inspired her is even more vivid. It is so contrived and petty that the bad stories that the author makes fun of at the beginning with their dramatic kidnappings and dog blood are much brighter as an attraction whe compared to this work.

I found the premise interesting. The MC being OP right out the gate usually detracts from a story, but since he lived lives that were unusual yet applicable it kept the OP bit intriguing. Yes, there are lots of plot holes / forgotten characters / big main & sub plots just skipped, oddly enough it was still an enjoyable read even with all of that - which is usually a HUGE pet peeve of mine. The novel starts off interesting but I'm not a fan of the translator's choice of tense. There's one unlimited novel I read by this translator and the use of present tense witing worked fine for me. Somehow for any other type of novel (including this one) I end up unconsciously correcting tenses and as a result I can't connect with the story.

This is a chill novel that's good for when you're looking for a casual read to waste some time on. It's not particularly good, but it's not bad either. My first time reading it (see old review spoiler for reference) my opinion of the novel was definitely not that good. Now, I think I like it a bit more, but I still didn't end up finishing it because it's really not my kind of novel. This is the novel for you if you're interested in a fluffy romance. The ML transmigrates into a cannon fodder role that the antagonist was madly in love with. In the original story, the cannon fodder would have gotten a BE because he went after the Protagonist!Shou of the novel. The development from here on is predictable, the MC sticks to the antagonist so that he can have a HE (made complicated because the ML rebirths and has memories of the original novel). But, well, this is pretty quickly resolved, so the main focus of the story is the romance between an OP Gong!MC that can do pretty much everything, and an equally OP Shou!ML that is super wealthy and smart, but also a bit of a crybaby tsundere. This time, even if I didn't finish, I gave the novel a 3/5 rating. That's pretty good, since the official rating would have probably been 2.5-2.75 (rounded up to 3). Mainly because the story is pretty simple, and thus doesn't have any real big selling points (in my opinion). It's really just an average, every-day kind of novel. The TL is pretty good so it's worth the time invested, but it really depends on what kind of romance (this one has the ML dependent on the MC, while the MC spoils him to death kind of dynamic) and novels you're into.

This story feels kind of aimless to me. Over ten chapters later and it had not gotten my attention. Perhaps it's just not my type of novel? The premise is interesting, but execution is clumsy. Things feel a little amateurish overall. Ahhhh idk. I think it might be good if you're looking for a simple, feel-good story? But that's about all I can say about it. 🤧 I'm leaving it unrated cause I didn't really get far.

For those who complained about changing the story line. I'm glad the translator change a bit the ending into a sweet ending. While it's not right at least he also translate the 'ugh' ending. So when both leads leave the virtual world, doppelganger's are put into place. What I found sad but also interesting were the after-effects. The tops virtual family had a rather sad ending. They noticed the change in both boys and kind of forced themselves to accept these strange changes. The description that stood out to me when describing the changes was 'less alive'. It was sad reading this bit because that was one beautiful family and I wish they had a happier ending too.

I think the novel is readable if you need something fluffy. The CP is overbearing OP so you won't find them struggling to overcome the hurdles. The plot is flat when it's nearing the end which is dissapointing. The characters are all forgetable, even the main characters.
