Lin Jie is the owner of a bookstore in another world.

He’s kind and warm-hearted, often recommending healing books to customers who are going through a tough time. From time to time, he secretly promotes his own work too.

I'm really enjoying this novel! I binge-read the entire thing until I caught up and then carried on reading it with every release. I love the element of mystery that comes with the bookshop. The worldbuilding is amazing and every single character is so unique and fleshed out.

This novel is one of the best novels at making funny misunderstandings. It is fun seeing how all the characters are misunderstanding Boss Lin's action.

There's not that much character development in this novel, the world-building isn't also some insane world-shattering masterpiece. But, those are not the main point of the novel. This novel based mainly on how the main character, Boss Lin, creates accidental misunderstandings that he never realizes. He is giving all these seemingly novel book (in his POV) to his customers that grants godly powers to them, even... more>> though he don't know that these books grants these powers.

The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the comedy didn't reach chapter 150+. When you reached that point, all the comedic misunderstandings started getting dull. <<less

So far this novel is very good. While the MC is only interesting in bursts the story follows side characters just enough to cover for his lack of depth. There are definitely quite a few deus ex machina solutions but they work with the premise of the book. All-in-all an interesting and decently written piece of fiction that pushes some new boundaries.

Very fun to read novel. The translation is pretty good and for this type of story surprisingly good world building. And I like misunderstandings caused between MC and side characters, its very funny to read the MC's and Side characters POV separately.

Basically very entertaining to read, good character development, well written by author and good translation.

Good novel. The idea is very refreshing. I love the misunderstanding between the MC and other characters. Very funny.

4 star because the upload rate is so slow. At this rate, it would take 2 years to finish the rest of the novel.

It's actually not my type of novel but its really fun to read and those misunderstandings between his customer and him are really one of a kind. If you have nothing else to read and enjoy a mix of action and Suggestion talk I can highly recommend it. The story gets better and better, really well developed storybuilding

So basically, MC is a really funny and nice owner of a TOTALLY NORMAL transmigrated bookstore he transmigrated with.

But in the world he's in, the books he recomends are TOTALLY f*ckING DIFFERENT to the people of that world.

Its so funny because he's oblivious to it.

I got to volume 2 or 3 through mlt I think, cant remember been a few months. It's a good story better than the other one with this plot, mainly because the MC has more interactions with the world and conciquence of what he does and not just in a heram building way.

It's a good blend of comedy, wuxia fantasy Aldrich horror and comedy, and thankfully the MC doenst remain clueless for too long and the misunderstandings become less ast a good pace.
