I hard disagree with some people's assessments of the FL. And no, I'm not gonna bash the ML because misunderstandings are a b*tch, but really people?

Some of these reviews talk about the Rhia like she's CONSTANTLY blaming other people, but I didn't see that at all. She was processing her pain in her own head, not going around pointing fingers at everyone like these reviews make it out to be. And the fact of the matter is that Igor is her ABUSER. He RAPED her, there's literally no getting... more>> around that. She was afraid of him, hurt by him, and are we forgetting she was 16 when they were married? And he's like, 3/4 years older than her, so imagine being a sixteen year old girl marrying an emotionally constipated 19/20 year old man who then proceeded to give you the worst, most painful wedding night of all time.

People are saying Igor gave Rhia ample opportunities to tell him she was on his side, but why on earth would she choose him over the seemingly gentle and kind queen who loves her? I certainly wouldn't. I hard disagree with people saying Igor wasn't her abuser, or that calling him her abuser was unfair because, um hello? A husband who's willing to brutally r*pe you repeatedly because you smiled around your cousin sounds pretty f*cking abusive to me. That's not up for debate.

*imagine calling someone a 'villainess in disguise' because of a victim complex, smh.

And I'm not editorializing using the word 'rape'. Igor says FOR HIMSELF that he r*ped her, so it's so wild to me that people are victim blaming her for this very real truth. Him raping her is not her fault, and there's while you can make the argument of 'maRiTaL oBLiGaTioNs', would it have killed him to be gentle with her?

The ONLY problem with Rhia that I agree with is that she hardly admits where she could've done better. I won't blame her for not being able to speak up in the moment because I am also a timid person who is easily intimidated by others, but when looking at those moments in retrospect, I will often think 'I should've gotten mad' or 'I should've said something'. Rhia doesn't do that except for maybe once right at the end. It would've been nice if that was fleshed out throughout the novel so that once she actually gets to that part, it feels warranted, like we saw that eventually revelation coming.

I also want to make one final point. I am in awe of people saying Igor is this sob sob sad boy who's remaining with a toxic woman. Where was this energy for Tia in Abandoned Empress when she also remained with her toxic love interest who failed to look inward and change? People were so quick to call her s*upid and dumb for staying with Ruve, so why aren't people calling Igor s*upid and dumb for staying with Rhia?

The answer is either: A double standard because of misogyny (which is why Tia is s*upid, but Igor isn't despite them being the same), or Rhia isn't as toxic as you people think she is (thus making their ending relationship acceptable to you).

I'm not saying Igor is 'the worst man alive' because like I said, misunderstandings are a bit*h and the novel does a fantastic job painting just how much of a corner he was in, but to act as though he's completely innocent when he held all the power is crazy to me. Especially since the bastard is trying so desperately to take accountability, but some of these reviews are just ignoring that. <<less

Y'all just don't know it yet BUT YOU WILL LOVE IGOR!!!!

Spoiler

not really going into much spoiler details but..

Ugh! I knew I'd end up loving him from the moment he desperately chaaaased Rhia to the shore, with Rhia on board to Crichton.

Rhia WAS EVERYTHING TO HIM even in the first life ?? And we won't really know that unless we see the whole story from both POVs, right??

[collapse]

Brilliant writing (keeps a lot of readers on the edge, see comments lolll). Very smooth translations.

PS. If you're checking for the story, stay for the story. You'll do well ignoring the rash ramblings of some. It takes a lot of patience and empathy to grow up, mature, and truly enjoy life.. And enjoy this novel. ?❤️ <<less

The writing annoyed me so much with the excessive background of the characters you'll never care about and quite high pettiness levels. I really don't like the evil sister plot line unless the sister actually has some IQ points. So I got back to read some reviews:

After hearing that this story keep depending too much on flashback parts from their past life + ML is the past abuser himself (neglect, r*pe, cheating with sister which then causes miscarriage after, imprisonment, indirect mu*der) since he's actually reincarnated and still owns his... more>> actions, I decided that this web novel doesn't worth my time. <<less

Damn, what a waste of premise. This is even worse than Abandoned Empress.

Spoiler

Having the ML reincarnate too made it more infuriating. Why? Because he cheated on her in their past life. I only find Rube (from abandoned empress) more decent compared to this because he's not the same Rube who killed and cheated on her.

I dont really understand why people hates Rhia so much.

She also suffered. Igor didn't even properly protect rhia back then. Even though she's not the FL that we expected her to be, she suffered greatly in first timeline. Yes she's weak, because she's not raised to be strong. She doesn't have a strong personality like other fls have. She's TRAUMATIZED, SHE'S NOT PLAYING VICTIM. SHE'S LITERALLY A VICTIM. She's protecting herself and what's wrong with that?!

I'm not taking sides here but I understood her character. It's not easy to trust... more>> people that hurt you and betrayed you. Even though Igor didn't really cheat on rhia, he was one of the reason why rhia suffered in the first timeline. They didn't have a good relationship even though they loved each other. They didn't have the needed 'communication'.

And Rhia loved and trusted her family so much that she gave them everything.

And now you all bashing her because she's weak? And she's playing victim?. What. Is. Wrong. With. You. All.

Both her and Igor had their own sufferings. Rhia was powerless in the first timeline. She just wanted to be loved by those people she loved but in the end they betrayed her (her family and Queen dowager).

How could she just moved on like that huh? She was killed and betrayed.

And Igor didn't even try to open up with her and just followed his ego. He knew he was hurting her with his actions because he wanted to protect her. He hated his mother that's why he also hates Rhia because she's always following the queen dowager because she thought the queen dowager cares for her. She respected and cared for the Queen dowager but in the end she was betrayed by that woman.

Me too, there were times that I'm frustrated at rhia but I couldn't blame her. She didn't know anything, because NO ONE IS TELLING HER OR BEING HONEST WITH HER. She was being manipulated by everyone who surrounds her. So how could I exactly blame her behaviour. She didnt have a friend or even an ally back then.

In the end, she only had herself. <<less

I just love rebirth novels. It's too early too judge this one, but it has the basic elements, poor naive protagonist driven away because of an evil and jealous step sister, tortured by an ingrate lover who abandons her despite all her sacrifices and love devotion. I'm hooked already. Translator has done a great job. I'm really looking forward to what's next especially that r18 content. ?

No I did not finish reading this, instead it goes to the drop bin.

It would have gotten 5 or 4 stars because the author knows how to mislead the reader to sympathizing with the FL based on seeing other people with Completed status give their input and how that contrasts with people who didn't finish up to a third of the story and hating on ML.

Thanks to the translator's pace which is reasonably like a serialization pace, I had read up to ch 95 but felt like reading these were... more>> not as enjoyable as before. This had prompted me to read people's comments and getting appropriately spoiled (technically a good for me).

I liked the start where the FL looked kick ass. I thought she was okay being in Cricton (at least she got to try living differently with family that loved her more). I was disappointed when ML brought her back and I went through the sympathizing with the FL and "let her free". I was hopeful when I saw the big time effort ML put in to change FL's impression and how FL was "willing" to put in more effort to see ML in a better light.

So by ch 95, I was looking forward to seeing how much effort ML would do to get the FL to realize ML's love is genuine and for her. I was also looking forward to seeing Leticia getting her full just desserts aka how she would get disposed of. And then expecting more fluff.

Thanks to the comments, I see that ML put in exorbitant amounts of effort, but FL was too "victim mentality" and self-denying any possibility that she could be loved this time (that I had gotten hints of by ch 95). What makes this a 2 star is that the reader has to trudge through more "victim mentality" narrative despite FL saying to herself that she'll give ML a second chance. Looking at the title and tags now, the translated name and tags are appropriate warnings. But, I didn't seem to take them seriously because I had some precautions in mind and some mental toughness prepared for "villainess noble girls" tag and wanting to read stories with this tag.

It would technically be a 3.5 star but system said 3 star was "ok" so I'll go with that.

If you want to go through a psychological self experiment and mental masochism, go ahead and read from start to finish.

Idk if there is a gratifying end and the feel of the "fluff" scenes, but not worth my time to trudge through 200+ chapters of "victim mentality" to find out. <<less

This is a bog-standard wife crematorium novel. The ML is extremely abusive to his wife (yes I read the whole thing, yes even knowing the later revelations he was extremely abusive), causes her death unintentionally, and has to grovel her back after they're both reborn.

"r*pe Victim Becomes Lover" novels tend to work better as smut fests because that way they can turn off the brains of their readership. Nobody cares if the characters in their p*rn act mind-numbingly s*upid or drag out needless misunderstandings or are just awful people. It's... more>> p*rn. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you see it, this novel has no interest in fetishizing the ML's abuse of the FL in their first life. The novel spares us no detail of how incredibly unsexy their love life was, or how sickened with himself the ML feels after he - in his own words - repeatedly, violently r*pes her. We are then asked to root for this character as the romantic love interest. As you can see in the comments, this cognitive dissonance tends to result in either despising the ML for obvious reasons, or hating the FL for failing to appreciate her ~troubled~ husband.

Let's talk about what's fair or not fair to despise the ML for:

Spoiler

The FL believes that the ML always despised her, that he cheated on her with her half-sister both before and during her pregnancy, that he framed her for treason shortly after her miscarriage and ordered her death because she no longer had any utility as someone who could bear him an heir. All of these beliefs turn out to be false.

Here's what's true. The ML purposefully treats the FL as if he loathes her because he sees her as a pawn of his mother, whose control he seeks to escape, while secretly falling in love with her. He's angry at the FL for seemingly choosing his mother over him, so he:

refuses her overtures for communication
publicly humiliates and undermines her as Queen (in part by pretending to have an open affair with her half-sister)
has violent, painful s*x with her to punish her for not liking him (and at one point, for being too happy to see her cousin)
insults, castigates, and explicitly refuses to believe her

At the end of the day, the ML verbally, physically, and sexually abused the FL to a pretty extreme degree in their first life. Completing the novel won't change these facts and readers are well within their rights to drop the novel, hate the ML, and hate the author for giving him a HE. Please do not force yourself to read this novel because reviewers are promising that it's all a misunderstanding and the ML had good reasons to do everything he did. It's not and he didn't. Go read "Don't Pick Up Boyfriends From The tr*sh Bin" instead, it's a BL but it does a great job of criticizing wife crematorium tropes & it's just better written in general.

[collapse]

Now let's talk about what it's fair to despise the FL for:

Spoiler

"The FL is an unreliable narrator." This is just not true. An unreliable narrator is a main character that lies to the audience, and it's a fictional device that I really enjoy so I was looking forward to seeing that, but alas. The FL has genuine misunderstandings about the ML and we follow her perspective. That's it. She does not lie. (As a side note, calling a character "an unreliable narrator" is not a valid criticism any more than calling a novel "a mystery" is a criticism.)

"The FL is brainless." Yes, she is very s*upid. The ML is similarly extremely s*upid. To be blunt, the author isn't clever enough to sustain forced melodrama for >200 chapters without having the main characters become idiots for the convenience of the plot. For example, the ML makes an ambiguous statement to the FL about making a choice prior to their marriage. The FL thinks he's telling her he'll never love her if she becomes Queen. The ML thinks he's told her to choose between him and his Queen mother. Neither of them ever clarifies or revisits this topic over the YEARS of their marriage. Ughh

"The FL doesn't side with the ML over his mother." So, the FL never really understands the ML's "us vs them" attitude because he never bothers to make his position clear to her. When she tries to communicate, she is rebuffed. Her only understanding of the ML's relationship with his mother comes from his mother, who is in a position of absolute trust. Conversely, the ML is constantly mistreating her. The ambiguous attitude she takes is already extremely forgiving toward the ML. She has no reason to support him seeking power, nor does he ever try to win her over. She is remarkably kind to him considering his attitude.

"The FL whines about having a child, what else did she expect when she became Queen?" There's a crucial scene where the FL and ML consummate their first marriage. The FL decides she would rather not be trapped in a loveless marriage and tries to push the ML away, since pre-consummation is her last chance to call it off. She tries to push the ML off... and he brutally r*pes her. As in, BRUTALLY r*pes her. The FL was already being corralled into this marriage by the ML's mother and now she's been physically forced. In what way can you claim that she consented to be Queen? Where did she consent to s*x and procreation? She rejected him and he forced her. She has every right to complain about the s*xual abuse the ML subjected her to in the name of procreation, as well as the awful medicines the ML's mother force-fed her, as well as the constant criticisms she got for being unable to get pregnant. (To be fair to the ML, he didn't really understand her rejection - he thought she was rejecting him, not the marriage itself, but the fact that he viciously r*ped her then and throughout their first marriage is something that he himself admits to.)

"The FL doesn't change the future." This isn't really a criticism of the FL so much as of the author's choices. The ML does quite a bit of changing the future but these changes are only ever alluded to, never shown. To wit, the author isn't interested in telling a rebirth story like "Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage", where the FL actively uses her knowledge of the future to protect herself and her loved ones. If you want to read a story like that, go read that series. This novel's FL is only given two opportunities to change the future: (1) kicking out her half-sister and father, which ends up having little effect because her half-sister returns as a main antagonist anyway; (2) the poisoning of the Chrichton nobles, which she debates back and forth before eventually deciding to prevent it... only to be told by the ML that his off-screen actions have already prevented that event. I mean, come on lmao. The FL just isn't given opportunities to change the future. This is the author's choice.

"The FL pities herself, cries too much, is unproductive, doesn't change, etc." Stories about recovery from trauma always get mixed results - some people will feel the main character recovers too easily, too slowly, etc. What we're told about the FL is that her mother died young, she was subsequently severely abused by her father and half-sister, then even more severely abused by her husband and mother-in-law, fainted from stress on a staircase and suffered a miscarriage, was wrongfully imprisoned, and chose to end her life. Afterward, she suffers from chronic insomnia, suicidal ideation, and clinical depression for 6 years. At this point, she's coerced into marrying the same husband and dragged back to the castle that's guaranteed to trigger her PTSD 24/7, undergoes several life-threatening events, and learns that the only person she ever believed cared about her - the ML's Queen mother - framed and tried to kill her, at which point she has a mental breakdown and continuous night terrors for over a week. I can't emphasize this enough. The FL, of all people, has full rights to feel sorry for herself lmfaooooooooo. If you don't like it, that's fair. I don't like how needlessly angsty this novel is. But it's not a character flaw of the FL.

"The ML tries, but the FL doesn't." The ML coerces the FL into a marriage in their second life while hiding the fact that he is reborn because he is fully aware if the FL knew he was the same person from their first life, she would run away at any cost or even kill herself to escape him. He has no illusions that she wants to be with him. The FL does not deserve to be criticized for not trying to rebuild her relationship with the ML when she does not want to be in a relationship with him at all. The onus is 100% on the ML to make amends.

"The FL is selfish". This is fair. The main critique revolves around her initial decision to let the Chrichton nobles die. She ultimately changes her mind so this critique doesn't hold much water, then it's revealed her decision doesn't matter so it holds even less water, but it is true that she prioritizes herself over others. For people used to FLs who self-sacrifice at the drop of a hat, this can be a difficult pill to swallow. That said, I don't get why the FL should be singled out for this when the ML r*pes, mu*ders, and even wages war at his leisure.

"The FL plays the blame game." This is the silliest complaint. The FL lays out accusations against the ML that she whole-heartedly believes to be true. Some are true and some aren't, but the ML chooses not to clarify anything. What is the FL even supposed to do here? If she says nothing, then she's not trying hard enough to communicate, but if she says anything, then she's playing the blame game and pitying herself. This is next level victim blaming.

[collapse]

The FL has a lot of tiresome flaws - but none that are unique to her or warrant the outsized, targeted hatred I see in some of these reviews. It very much feels like these people are mostly dissatisfied that the FL didn't capitulate to the ML enough. It's absurd and unfair.

Anyway, I didn't like this novel that much, but not because I hate either the ML or FL. I pretty much knew what kind of people they would be just by looking at the tags. Rather, the bad writing gets to me. For example -

Spoiler

The FL's half-sister is arrested, but is kidnapped from her carriage with its small contingent of guards. She then tries to infiltrate the Queen's Palace to kill the FL and is caught by staff. The staff also finds explosives near the Queen's Palace. As a result, the ML decides to send the FL out... in a carriage with a small contingent of guards... to the villa where his mother lives.

Ahahahahaha.

I didn't have to read the rest to know she gets kidnapped. Even more ridiculously, her kidnapper only wants to kill her, but instead of just slitting her throat on the spot he takes her to a distant cabin, waits for her to wake up, advises her to drink poison, and then sets the cabin on fire. Obviously the ML catches up during all this tomfoolery. Just hilariously bad writing.

[collapse]

The half-sister was very poorly written. She's the most stereotypical "jealous illegitimate child" cannon fodder of all time. I absolutely hate that trope, and it was terribly executed too.

Not really a complaint since it was unintentionally funny, but the ML has a comically overactive imagination -

Spoiler

The FL asks him to dance with her half-sister according to a pre-established tradition, and he just assumes the FL wants him to get the half-sister pregnant.

He interprets her pushing him away during consummation as her telling him she is politically aligned with his mother.

He sees the FL weakly conceding to his mother after his mother very blatantly pressures and bullies her into agreeing, and surmises that the two of them plotted against him behind his back, and also his wife doesn't respect him at all.

I think the ML missed his calling in writing novels. So many rich stories from so little information!

[collapse]

The novel's plot runs along quickly (though the last arc is superfluous and just barely stretches the novel into overstaying its welcome). The smut is too sparing for this kind of low-brow content, but it's good (when it isn't devolving into inscrutable purple prose like "her skin was moonshine, " "he kissed her like the sun kisses the sky, " etc.) It went by quickly and was mildly entertaining. 2/5. <<less

The amount of victim blaming in these reviews is nauseating. FL is understandably withdrawn and wary of others while the tr*sh ML is a rap!st pig who wont leave her alone because he wants to "atone" for his sins of abuse.

Basically if you want to develop ulcers from anger read this novel

In the early chapters I was so Freaking pissed off when I read the flash backs about her husband and her half sister, and I was excited to see her journey after her rebirth I was waiting for strong ruthless brave Female character who seeks revenge or at least to live peacefully away from the cause of her nightmares and her past misery (her husband) but I was so disappointed, the FL didnt improve, how can she accepts living with man who humiliated her and crushed her heart even though he appears different after the rebirth even though he is treating her in kind and gentle way, I was so into this novel but I couldn’t continue it spoiled my mood.

I love this novel, seriously.

And I agree to those who gave five stars.

That bastard ML should suffer the pain the MC felt ten-fold. He caused so much suffering beyond redeemable. If he really loved her, why hurt her? I can't even tell what dere he is

This novel started out strongly! Our heroine is different from other heroines from rebirth novels like this. The moment she realized she went back in time, she already know what to do and didn't wasted a minute to put her plan in action. But despite this she's not perfect but that just made her better, more humane. It's a bit slow phased but I'm interested to read more! Give it a read!

(And im curious about that R-18 tag too *wink**wink*)

I really really didn't like the MC. I think I've read enough to say: IM SO SICK OF HER ATTITUDE! At some point it gets not boring but irritating to be reading once again how pitiful and sad and just o holy moly poor little heroine... I think the story could be soooo much better if she somehow developed throughout the story. Start with being miserable and then please try to change later...

So what to tell about this... piece of work... the flashbacks are bloody annoying, I don't get the hatred for the FL from the other posts, its easy to blame just her, but at the end of the day:

Spoiler

- he had the problems with his mothers, it's not her fault
- he r*ped her multiple times.
- he cheated on her with her half sister what has already taken away anything she had
- he was the cause of the miscarriage
- he killed her, not directly but it was his fault. If you play with fire you get burned little boy.
- he learned about her past after she took her own life

After the very first day of the "redo", the little dolt should have understood that BOTH lives have changed. Nope it took him till chap. 61 to even acknowledge that she changed. (that's some heavy plot armor (or rather plot s*upidity right there). You can not blame her for not understanding that he's been reborn, she removed herself from the country, so to her the changes of him where only natural BUT he was still the same person what did all what I listed above. Her father showed her the first day that his the same scumbag as in her last life. So its natural for her to think everything will lead to doom for her if he gets her in his grasp again.

Lets not talk about the little Kings "Regret". To late little boy, you screwed up the first time, you truly should burn in hell for all eternity. The pure s*upidity (or plot armor whatever you wanna call it) of assaulting her on the ship because he was worried she kills herself, I'm sure it reminded her of r*pe rather than the concert he had, at the end to herself she was nothing more than a hostage or a stand in for the real princess and after the s*upid use of her name once she tells him the meaning of it.

Lets not forget about the Bullsh*t we wont keep secrets, a few chaps after he keeps and MAKES new secrets, so much for letting her put her trust in him, once a little dolt always one, the problem now was just that it was a dolt with power.

Now the love scene... ugh. if the author doesn't knows how to write a good one, its better to just skip and make it happen of screen. but yeah sure to stroke ones own ego it must be BIG lol. My god so cringe.

On to some more Chap... and there is where he thinks she might have her memories of her old life. That's just great, now we know for sure that his a stalker. He wants her, he doesn't give a sh*t if she scared of him, he wants her to fall in love with her killer AND wants the child again. Oh bloody hell. There is ONE, just ONE thing every dolt (author) should remember, if you love something from the deepest part of your heart, you have to let it free.

And he nearly r*pes her again... like I said he should burn in hell.

The worst part of it all is that he doesn't have a blank state when she is reborn, HE has the memory's of the past too, so in the end he IS the same person what hurt her the most.
It was his narcissistic wish that she had to relive her life, just so that HE could get her. Even after she left he could not let go of her, yeah if that's not twisted love. Did she loved him? Hell no. But I'm the King i'll make her fall in love (bend her to my will, that's more like it)

His reflections and jealousy about Dimitri show up so well in that one phrase "Who knows what that man would do with Rihannan. " He would make her happy without the bloody crap you putting her thru ya dolt.

Look, all I have to say is that if you HATE when the FL blames every little thing on the ml, dont EVER read Everything Was A Mistake.

And lit me tell you why...

So all the FL does is blame things on everyone, including the one that ACTUALLY loves her.

... more>> She constantly thinks she the victim, never try's to see what's happening from the ML p.o.v, creates misunderstandings after misunderstandings, and think that the ML is supposed to "Read her mind".

To keep it blunt... I hate the fl.

Idk how else to put it, she makes her self miserable, always thinking "I had no choice" like what?

Then every thing she dose wrong, she leave for the ML to clean up, like honestly what dose she want, a husband or an OP Servant...

Then for sum odd reason everyone has sympathy for this girl like she really is "The Victim" and thinks it's a tragedy that she got married to the ML when obviously it's the other way around.

And yes ofcourse the ML has no exemptions, he was also in the wrong but his reasons made WAY more sense than hers would have ever did.

And as I said before she thinks she's the "Victim" which is absurd to me cause she can change herself and anything she wants, even ppl.. but no she decides not to talk and take no action at all but instead complains about everything.

She can puff her chest all she wants but it better not go no farther.😐

But really, dont read this novel if you cant take what you've just red, especially Everything Was A Mistake.

And also I'm not gonna rate this just because ik this is what the author was going for.

That's all, you've had your warning, now go enjoy yourself. <<less

One of those novels that try to excuse terrible actions with weak excuses and have the character be forgiven. Most criminals have a sob story you know.... but that doesn't stop them from being arrested,

What should have been a face slapping novel wasn't and instead you have a romance.... with the slag ML yay. What a total score.

Aside from these (totally glaring) flaws, the novel has some good parts. Such as the writing style, I found it to be quite immersive and I was able to really sympathize with... more>> the main character. Not the ML though! It's a bit hard to sympathize with tr*sh unfortunately. <<less

Idk I'm hoping she'll find a sweet, loyal, kind and loving husband eventhough it's already given that she'll end up being with the ML.

This has the makings of a classic rebirth novel which I usually enjoy. We are still getting the backstory for now from the FL's POV which honestly makes me not like the ML. I wish the author would give her another guy to love because I doubt I would buy the whole " I love you in secret but still make you suffer for your own good or to protect you" trope.

Anyway it was very satisfying to see how she put her tr*sh father in his place. It seems like... more>> she has guts and is determined to control her fate this time. I hope the attitude gets retained and doesn't wash away as she interacts with the ML.

This seems like a good read so far and the translators are doing an awesome job. <<less

I leave this novel with this question, "what's the point of the regression?"

I feel the need to curse the ml; you monster serial rapist who don't deserve a second or third chance. I feel so vexed and disappointed you exist and are romanticized.

It's not one of those stories where you can justify a person to just be misunderstood. It's not a gray area character. No matter how you twist it, he is abusive and manipulative, and that's not taking into account what he did to her in her past life.... more>> It is not a romantic story, but a story of a victim who was manipulated into being with someone who ruined her life.

The story feels forced, they really don't go together as a couple. Even if I ignore my resentment, they are not on the same wavelength. Complete opposites in personalities and beliefs. The MC is a pushover and that's why she's always taken advantage of. ML is arrogant and obsessed with power. He's not even a good ruler, but it feels like they try to skip over politics in order to focus on this loveless drama.

I don't recommend this unless you like unequal relationships, perhaps. <<less

To all the poor souls who didn't complete this novel thinking ML is scum or FL is going to marry the person who treated her like tr*sh and cheated on her or... whatever.

I just want to say, you have missed something incredible.
