The senior guy being the kinda final villain is a bit 'ehhh?', mostly because it feels sudden so its seems like the author just want to create the villain just to make the story whole even though it doesn't really needed and doesn't impact the story what so ever. And his love for the MC seems pure enough to me so him getting violent/crazy karen mode just feels a bit of a stretch for me especially as he was a man of great power too, being love brained and extreme just for the love of a guy that you almost met everyday cuz he's also your boss + you have a sh*t tons of money in your name, but still risk doing that dumb thing is illogical (for a character like the senior brother) me thinks. Not that im rotting for him btw. Even IF he has done many things for MC, DOGGIES MARK ALL THE WAY BABY. It's just how the author think it's right and will justify MC's an ML's relationship more if the other love rival is a piece of sh*t, you can just make him a normal human being yknow and we all will be ok with it. Kinda like when shounen author just HAS to make the protagonist married and had children with a women he has no chemistry on or even just a random girl he met after the ending lol.

ML getting a body via 3D printing that somehow so perfect that none of his cowokers notice LMAO (he will be a worker under MC in and after the ending). Like the 3D printing technology just conviniently exist feels soo.. Fake? Forced? Just like the crimes that senior brother commited.

As most the other reviewer said, yeah don't think to much about logic in this novel. Quick Transmigration IS all about faceslap (mostly) to satisfy your ego, the only thing that changes the quality is how the author will execute those faceslap. But I do adore QT with with online logic till end.

Generic, boring.

I think if you've read very few CN entertainment novels then the novelty of this might carry you through.

The only significant characters in this arc are the "emotionless" MC, the AI ML, the scum ex-boyfriend entertainment industry rival who wants to get back with him and simultaneously use him, and their agents. The only interesting character is the ML.

The villain is exceptionally boring. He's supposed to be less talented, but he could easily ignore the MC and focus the intelligence he's using on scheming on his own career instead. None of his antics feel like they have any stakes in this story, the MC barely engages with him, barely thinks about him, it's not vaguely bothered by or interested in him, and just by doing his own thing the villain is constantly face slapped. The author even writes at one point that the netizens had forgotten about him (well, his virtual idol) until the ML mentioned it at the end of a livestream! And while he's definitely scum, he isn't even villainous enough for me to be baying for his blood. He can just go away and I'd be happy. I'm literally skimming/skipping everything to do with the villain and his manager.

The MC is supposed to be lacking emotions (which is some kind of unexplained pseudo-science in the first place - why is he lacking? and why is he supposed to be able to learn them for the purpose of this story if he hasn't acquired an inkling of them his whole previous life?). I don't mind the premise, cool and unaffected MCs can be really fun to read when written well, but the author makes the fatal mistake of deciding that no emotions means we don't even get to see his thoughts. For each scene, all we get to see is him being bland and blunt and unaffected. We don't know what he's THINKING, what is his perspective, what is his goal for this scene and what is his greater goal? I think we're supposed to just be like an outsider, constantly surprised and impressed at what he does, but instead I feel like every scene is pointless. He doesn't care, he has no aims, there is no risk and he'll come out on top.

There is a goal vaguely mentioned - to leave this body and this world and return to his own. To do so, he needs to resolve the original body's obsession, but emotionless him and his AI can't figure out what it is and so..

... He goes on one of those stereotypical celebrity travel challenge shows with the ex because he had a prior contract to fulfill?? Not because he thinks it will help him in any way. And then we proceed to get him emotionlessly doing everything easily, barely interacting with the ex and I'm like... Why?? Why do I need to sit through these pointless, unoriginal challenges - challenges that I've read in twenty other novels - that he doesn't care about and don't progress the story other than to make people go wow he's amazing?? Sooooo tedious.

And his personality has become totally different and nobody seems to care. Suddenly he's tough, cold, blunt, a tech and business genius etc. Where did their warm and lovely idol with heaps of acting talent go??? Why does nobody care?

And the tiresome online comments trope is being used to a tedious degree, to the extent that the majority of the story is actually being played out via the comments rather than from us seeing the MC actually doing anything.

I would've have dropped this after chaper 10 if this wasn't by the author of Reborn With an Old Enemy. That story had so much heart, such lively characters, and made it easy to be invested in the MCs' success for every small scene because we understood the stakes for them and the people they cared about, why this scene mattered in a small or large way, and we cared about the outcome.

Oh and the tech. I don't know much about programming and AI but even I can see this is dodgy "future tech can somehow do anything" imaginary science that undermines what little worldbuilding integrity the story had managed to muster. I originally thought this might be a fun battle-of-the -virtual-idols thing where we got to see some actual entertainment industry performances but it's all just "Look netizens my (dodgy) tech is better."

OMG now another random scum friend has popped up for the MC to brutally deal with and of course not suffer at all...I just can't anymore. This arc is never going to end...

Oh yes it will. In a single chapter. He finally actually does some acting and we get a few paragraphs of summary. Then more summary time skips and then he's successfully separated from this body and this world. OMG what kind of cheap writing is this?? I'm dead.

Already this is more entertaining than the first arc, the ML is very present and lively, we're getting more moments between him and the MC, and we're starting to see a little thawing of the MC's normal emotionless state.

A lot of the major flaws remain though: The use forum posts to show reactions to things instead of action, the often simplistic writing, the tendency to not let the reader into the MC's thoughts and behind-the-scenes efforts so that we can be impressed by his aloof attitude and surprised by his/their solutions, the lack of real tension or feeling like most of the scenes really matter. And for me I think it's that once again we've got a villain who arbitrarily creates one-sided dramas that don't really feel important to the MC or the story. What I need here is for the MC and villain to have high-stakes goals of their own, but to have these goals clash. The villain therefore will have to be villainous because the MC is in the way of his important goal, and the MC will need to care about what the villain does because his actions will genuinely inhibit or endanger the success of his own goal.

Now that we've got the introductory arc out of the way, I would like to see how the relationship between the MC and ML develops, but I just can't do anymore of these pointless contrived villain face-slapping episodes.

Second, the author writes that MC just recreates a full working gun inside a cultivation era game. Game creators who have a full working immersion game with real AI have should have already thought about the possibility of someone creating a weapon not in that time period? They noted that the type of vr infiltrated society, people know how to create guns. Why would MC be the first to try, and why hadn't the GMs banned it? :> Anyway, my real annoyance was that it was so "ah yes, don't use the original body's talents, and just break out a friggin gun to a sword fight".

I honestly thought there would be some big twist that the MC is actually AI from another world inserted into his "original world" and that would be how the 2 would be together, since ya know AI can't age.

Our ML is an obscene little AI xD, tbh I was quite surprised when they kiss on game Arc ///3///) and there's a mention of meat scene near the end. Well, looking at how much car driving ML spouting out loud, I should have forseen that to happen, ahaha.
