The Cannon Fodder and Villain’s Happy Ending

Qin Jiu transmigrated into a switched-at-birth novel.

She became the first daughter of a marquis’ household. She was swapped out maliciously at a young age and raised in the countryside.

The fake young mistress female lead was a rebirthed girl. The pearl of the capital, and the future wife of the second prince.

In the original novel, Qin Jiu had been jealous of the female lead and kept going against her, trying in vain to frame her. Unaware of her lacking capabilities, she even tried to steal the male lead from her. Eventually, everyone turned their backs against Qin Jiu and she was killed by an arrow to the heart.

After reviewing the plot, Qin Jiu tore up the script–She doesn’t want to be this villainess cannon fodder! Then in the next moment, she jumped into the arms of Regent Gu Zezhi.

Qin Jiu, “Sob sob sob…golden thighs!”

Gu Zezhi, “I’ll let you hug them.” The regent of the dynasty had a fierce reputation of great power and heartless killings. Many people hated him, feared him, and wanted him dead. Then, one day, someone saw the infamously fierce regent holding a little girl in his arms with a pampering expression. Gu Zezhi kissed her hair and spoke in a gentle voice. “You can get rid of anyone you want. I’m here.”

I actually enjoyed this novel. Despite the many political conflicts, the chemistry of the leads was also good.

I like the personality of Qin Jiu (FL) , she's transmigrated but she got no cheat and only knew limited details of novel she read bc she already forgot it (so her knowledge wasn't used in full capability)... but I like how she dealt on issues, she was straightforward and didn't intervene/scheme as long as needed. Meanwhile, Gu Zhezhi (ML) was the OP here, he's the main manipulator and behind all the... more>> political schemes. He's also major green flag.

Some supporting characters were also interesting. I also liked the Emperor and Empress here. Some villains got depth while some of them just plain dvmb when they already got title and wealth but their jealousy, paranoia and greed destroyed them.

CONS
Spoiler

- The FL's previous life was not explained and no backstory. I even thought she's OG owner but nada... even the meaning of arrow chasing her (esp in last few chaps) was still remained questionable.
- ML got hints that he rebirthed due to his immense knowledge and knowing strategical moves of enemies... but it was left hanging and plot hole.
- Some chapters felt rush esp the ending.

I thought this sounded familiar. Note to self, first time reading you stopped at ch 181. Why? Who knows.

Re-read, let's go! See if I have to stop again or not. This will be a long rambling review as I tend to note things as I go. When I get to what's current/decide to drop again, I'll leave a TLDR down the bottom.

Also, in the beginning chapters, one of the not-even-on-screen-characters that I felt a little bad for was ... more>>
Spoiler

the so-called "fool" that Qin Jiu was going to be forced to marry. Based on both her description of him, and the description you hear from the villains, and I think a later description from the aunt? it seems that that particular character probably has little to no understanding of the actual situation, and was just told that he was going to have a new playmate that was a wife. And now he probably won't completely understand why she disappeared either. *shrug* maybe it's weird to think about, but it was something that occurred to me when reading.

[collapse]

Once Qin Jiu is back in the capital, there's the usual petty retaliations from people around her. I like that her method of solving things is often to flip it around so that the other person gets the same.
Spoiler

Like when her second aunt tries to send her all bland and salty food, that is, for the most part, actually inedible, she switches their food boxes so she gets the delicious food meant for the aunt

[collapse]

Also per usual in these kind of stories we get the ogFL going "If only Qin Jiu didn't appear I wouldn't be in this mess!" Like no, you're the one who reincarnated and knew what happens, ergo with all the years that family raised you there were plenty of things you could do. As well, how about not immediately picking on the mc?
Spoiler

And too... while there is the whole, "the older brother immediately hates her because she wasn't his real sister and she knew it the whole time" there are a lot of ways to get around that, or at least ways other than immediately crying and that's it. Use those villain brains of yours for something useful, Qin Xin. Why not just immediately blame your birth parents who you clearly want to have no connection with anyway? Pretend they forced you to come and pretend to be the daughter of the marquess, and as time passed, since you were so little when you came, you started to believe your own fantasy but now you realize and you're sorry for being the magpie. That would get you at least some sympathy, possibly. >.> Either way, it feels a bit more realistic that the younger brother is wary of the MC at first and loves the 'sister' who brought him up. Why wouldn't he? Qin Xin was hiding her scheming side. Although in this particular case there is also the whole 'Qin Xin helped raise him to be a spoiled brat on purpose', which is its own issue and shows her scheming side. For the older brother, it's a novel where apparently the older brother was the only one on Qin Jiu's side in the original, so I'll give him a pass for his weird obsessiveness with 'only the blood sister is my sister'.

[collapse]
Anyway, rants about Qin Xin aside, I do like that our MC gets along well with the people who work for her, when they aren't trying to bully her. I also like seeing her with her brothers (rant about that up above under spoilers too).

Also I love
Spoiler

When the MC is frustrated about a person who confessed to her in public and she's like "I want to put him in a sack and beat him up!" and then the ML delivers the chance xD

[collapse]
Qin Xin comes across as a very typical villainess, one who believes that being reborn means that she's fated to have a perfect life, and whatever she does doesn't matter for the sake of the end goal. And when someone rightly calls out something that she's done, she immediately labels them as an enemy.
Spoiler

When the grandmother punishes Qin Xin for stealing money that wasn't rightfully hers, which she used for her own means, Qin Xin's first thought is that the grandmother doesn't love her anymore. When the grandmother is thinking that this is really the first punishment she's ever given Qin Xin and therefore it needs to stick. And I just shake my head. Qin Xin didn't seem to realize how easy it would be to keep everyone's affection, but she just had to go and keep doing things that were not quite legal and that disappointed the family. Qin Xin, you had a second life, and choices on how this could have gone well. You have no one to blame but yourself, in the end. You, unlike what you're thinking, never treated them with sincerity.

[collapse]
I just really don't understand people who think this way. It's very typical in this genre, but I still don't get it.

ok ch 178...I don't like
Spoiler

that the ML pretended to be heavily injured so the MC would worry and take care of him. She's still rightly mad at him for that until ch 181 (where I left off the first time) when he gives her gifts as a kinda silent apology/to coax her.

[collapse]
So, I'm not actually sure why I stopped? I'll keep going for now. Maybe I just stopped because it's a long story and I had other things I wanted to read?

And I do think it's kinda funny how everyone around them (other than the villains) are shipping the MC and ML together because they see how well they get along.

Also ugh the marriage scheming.
Spoiler

The emperor and empress and the ML have already decided MC will marry ml, and the MC is on her way there, just hasn't realized more than she wants to hug her golden thigh yet. It has started though, which I think is sweet, that while it is taking her time to realize, she slowly is, and does truly like the ml. Although how much is because he is a golden thigh, I dunno. xD Either way, relatives that should have no say, bu*t out!

[collapse]
Lots of politics going on. At least most of the focus is on our MC and ML themselves and how they're involved in the politics, rather than just politics. Although there is some about Qin Xin and the ogML who is kinda naively s*upid for a prince.

Of mixed minds about the emperor and the ML teaching the six year old prince about politics and stuff since he's only a kid, but I guess that time period it was necessary?

Also, don't feel bad for Changning and Yingluo--they completely brought their fate on themselves. They would have actually been 100% fine if they hadn't started scheming and hurting others/their country. Rather like Qin Xin, for that matter...

xD Qin Zeyu thinking about Qin Jiu
Spoiler

"was his sister addicted to reporting to the authorities?"

[collapse]
yes, I rather think so ^_~

Some people... >.>
Spoiler

Uncle who has separated the family, how dare you have the gall to suggest that your nephew give up his new title to spare you after you stole money. Yay on grandma for not being blind to her son's faults and telling her grandson not to be softhearted in this case.

Had it's downsides but now at ch 105 decided to give 5 stars when our FL cooly thought that when she's only thinking about saying inside and warm, Tang Fengchun had the determination of jumping in the lake twice and deserves applause. Hilarious hahaha. It's a good book as long as you don't think too much and especially not about the restrictions women had in ancient times or you'll get bitter because of all the tragedies. Main couple fits well, the face slapping is prompt and no misunderstandings makes it... more>> good in my eyes.

I'll give this one a 3.5/5

The story is focused on revenge much more than the romance. From the fake young mistress, the Qin family, the royal family, and pretty much everyone got involved.

It's quite repetitive with the way FL mostly reporting every little thing to officials and have it judged, but if you're looking for tons of face-slapping, it is quite fun to read. Although, it does feel rather unrealistic. I can't remember how many times FL already sounded the drum to report cases lol I mean, it is just... more>> a story, and there are many things not realistic, but they way FL really make rackets of things are just quiteeee a bit too much that I went kinda umm..

The FL herself had many people help her, including the ML's help. However, she's not a useless FL imo as she never lets herself be pushed over, and she did scheme quite a lot in retaliation. It's just as only a girl, she doesn't have much power against the villains who are mostly above her in social hierarchy. I see it as her being the brain, and making good use of others' favour towards her.

Talking about the FL, I quite like her character. She is not one with great ambition, and only wants to survive and have a good life. As you read, you will see that she's mostly a carefree girl and won't do bad to others, if they didn't try to do so first towards her.

As for the ML, he's smart, good at martial arts, secretly hides his talent, and etc. Typical of a male lead in this kind of stories.

However, one thing I really like about him is his attitude towards the people he loves. He appears cold and arrogant at times towards his enemies, but to his people, he's kind and helpful. I really like his interactions with FL. Both of them have a tacit understandings of each other's thoughts, they are helpful to each other, and it's just lovely to see them together.

There's no sort of super romantic scenes or anything so far, but you can see their relationship growing closer and the trust they have with each other.

I also quite like how they both meet each other early on with fake identities, and later on after meeting with their real identities, the ML didn't bother to pretend not to know her. In fact, he went ahead first to greet her even knowing the difference in their hierarchy. It's just refreshing to see an ML that doesn't hide himself, use fake identity, being all mysterious for so many chapters.

Other than both MCs, other characters aren't bland as well. Some of them are quite engaging to read as you discover more of what kind of people they truly are, and their relationships. I really like the emperor and empress' <3

As for the villains, hmm... unfortunately, most are rather boringly s*upid. Some did have a bit of brain here and there. But the more I read, the more I realize they may have something wrong with their brains. Kept blaming others, thinking everything is about you, and so on.

As for the translation,
Spoiler

a chapter is divided into several parts, so it's actually still far from the end. (at ch. 123 now)

The translation needs some heavy editing imo. There's tons of typos: inconsistent name translations, he/she mixed up, and a few other things. Some of the terms used are also weird: noble male heirs being called crown prince (i think it was "shizi" in mtl), elder people calling those younger with "sister (name) " e.g grandma qin calling her granddaughter sister jiu. I think these type of translations are too direct from mtl as I find a lot of them from reading the mtl.

These are mostly what is recurring in the current translation.

[collapse]

I'm impatient, can I read the mtl?
Spoiler

It's superr easy to understand. Much easier than than the usual easy mtl I read. It doesn't give me a headache at all :D

If you often read this type of novel with ancient setting, it'll be even easier as there's a few things translated too directly on mtl and a few still in pinyin. But you'll understand what it means as it's often explained in ancient setting novel translations.

My rating is a 4.5 actually. I quite enjoyed the twists and turns that the novel presented. There was court intrigue and face-slapping, romance and regret. All around a fun story to pass the time. Nothing absolutely spectacular to point out, but it was definitely an enjoyable read.

The female lead's name (which has been translated as many different names) will be known as Qin Jiu. She was a bright and funny character. And the the male lead Gu Zhezhi is your typical cold, but loving male lead. Nothing special about... more>> them, since they were your standard power couple. Fun to read and see their story to the end. Truth be told I would like to know more about the FLs family. Since their stories were slightly rushed, but oh well.

I don't have too much else to say except, read this and you won't be disappointed. It was a sweet and entertaining novel.

p.s.

Although it is a romance novel, it was heavy on the revenge aspect. Mainly avenging the original hosts grievances from the past life. So if you don't like heavy revenge and face slapping stories then this isn't for you. <<less

IT IS A MIRACLE!! Our MC is clever even in front of our ML until the end.

The MC is so normal just like any person in 21 century. She has no gift or golden finger. The most thing I like about her that she didn’t treat people as a character in the novel but as a real people. She used the novel as basic knowledge but didn’t believe it blandly. She regards the original owner as herself and never mentioned she’s from another world. She liked this world. She liked... more>> her family. She never attacked anyone until they attack her.
The ML was so good. I really liked him. He is very smart. His relationship with the MC is the best. He respects her and values her existence. The love between the FL and the ML isn’t a passionate love but that kind of calm love. The love makes you feel it would last forever. Their love is built on their communications. As the ML said there’s no one how can understand him like the MC. They love each other because they understand each other.
now let’s talk about things I hated in this novel. This novel was for sure unnecessary long.
Spoiler

I didn’t like how the MC always hit her brother to the point he can’t express his opinion because he’s afraid.

[collapse]

the original FL and her parents are so brainless.

Spoiler

honestly, I can never understand the original Fl. She always says that our MC stole everything from her! Is she crazy?!! Does she forget that she’s the one who stole her place?!!

I don’t understand her hater towards our MC but I understand her pain. In her first life, she was just a child. She did nothing wrong but lived her whole life in pain. I understand her fair of our MC. In the end, she wanted to protect herself I understand that. But she just did that to another victim like her!!!
The girl was abused by her parents but she never felt any sympathy. She thinks she’s the only one who suffered.

[collapse]

I like the relationship between the emperor and the empress but every time I remember he’s other women I feel a little uncomfortable. But the writer never mentioned his relationship with them which is great.

Also, I feel uncomfortable with the punishment of the people in this novel. I know it’s historical but still, I didn’t like it. Every time It’s mentioned that the emperor is soft-hearted but the facts tell us otherwise.

Spoiler

especially what he did to his daughter. What his daughter did was her only way to survive in her opinion. If the empress didn’t deceive her and told her the emperor wouldn’t marry her off she wouldn’t have done that at all!!

Great read! Although it may be your typical original ML-and-FL-turned-villains-novel, this one makes sense and its really interesting to read. The MC isn't trying hard at all. She's just dealing with whatever comes her way calmly, she avoids drama, and minds her own business. The ML is very smart and calculative but he's very sweet and caring especially to those who are important to him like his mom and MC.

I mtled the novel and it wasn't that confusing and pretty easy to read. I will definitely re-read it when the... more>> translation is complete. <<less

I read the MTL because couldn't wait for the update since I liked the bits I read. I'll definitely reread the better translation later.

The novel is your typical transmigrator meet rebirth character novel. There are some cliches you find in the genre, vindictive sisters who are out to get MC etc, but the writing and developments are enjoyable enough that it doesn't matter if it's a trope.

What I like is how the MC transmigration helped saved the ML and steer his life in a new direction from the original novel... more>> plot. It shows how often good and evil is dependent on the perspective since the ML actually wasn't very much of a "villain" but he was made out to be one since the original novel was written from the original ML and heroine's perspective as an obstacle on their romantic rise to power. It was clear after seeing the original ML's faults and his personality spiralling out of control when he doesn't get what wanted that the ML was the prince regent in the original novel because he couldn't leave the country in the hand of someone incapable. He wasn't some power hungry regent trying to take over the throne so it was sad that the ML's reputation was tarnished and ended up dead in the end of the original novel. I'm pretty sympathetic of the ML in this novel

The MC isn't super powerful. She admit she forget some plot details while skipping through the novels (relatable). Her character is funny because she respond in unexpected ways when people try to step on her.

The romance of the book is not too fast instalove or slow burn. You can feel their relationships grow at organic pace. They're a cute couple.

Overall pretty good read to kill time <<less

I say, this is the first time I like the ML more than the MC.

And more than romance, this is more of a political, tactical book (?)

But why do I ship the male lead more with Yu Fuyun than the FL?

Anyway, I like that this book have a fair share of good and smart women instead of just portraying them all as brainless idiots and cannon fodders. And also that comeuppance for MLs father was satisfying. But at the end was sad.
Spoiler

Also, in the epilogue, the 2nd prince got reborn, yeah? But he was too late.

This is good to read. The plot or story is fast paste no unnecessary misunderstandings or drama dragging. The MC is also very lucky. And she is not op. Just straight forward and face slapping the villains. Lol. Because she had the op golden tights she doesn’t need to fear and no need for her to do anything. It was straightforward plot. Although there were scheming, political, power struggles and a bit of war. The problems resolved pretty quick and no dragging which is to my taste.

The MC solved all the problems without twist and turn, just go straight to the problem and confront her enemies directly. I think the MC's method was unsual in the ancient china's rebirth or transmigrated plot with round about schemes.

The ML was blackbelly type of character.

It was not a high literacy novel but I'm sure it was a pleasure reading, that's why... more>> I give 5 stars because it was an enjoyable novel and the readers no need to think to much about the story line/plot. <<less

It's a 3-3.5 for me.

If you're looking for OP protagonists, dumb antagonists, LOTS of faceslapping and disappearing cannon fodders once their task is done, minimal romance... this story is for you.

I read it till the end because I was looking for a face-slapping story and that's what I got. I am disappointed though that the story is more about the amazing cunning genius ML solving 80% the problems for the FL and thus helping her faceslap alot of people. FL is domineering, acts arrogant towards the antagonists but also can... more>> act like a white lotus. She exudes green tea vibes. She does solve some problems on her own but usually its by complaining to magistrates or using her words to outsmart the dumb antagonists.

In fact towards the later half of the story when the FL's main villains are done and gone, the story focuses on the ML and his fight with his concubine born brother and King Yu/Yu Wang. However, we never get to see much of ML's thought process and its mostly about him being so epic and cunning that he won all the fights and played his enemies.

What I was disappointed with was the fact that we never get any conclusion for the cannon fodders once they've got their share of screentime. Like Yelu Luan, the captive prince/hostage who marries BOTH Princess Yingluo and Changning. How does that even work??? Who is the concubine? Who is the main wife? We never get any aftermath stories for them.

Whatever happened with Gu Zhun and wife's kids after they got kicked out of the Su Family? What about the playboy Cheng guy? Its like cannon fodders pop up to say Hi for like ten chapters and then Bye! Oh some side characters are also quickly forgotten. Whatever happened to Gu Hanjun, does she get her happy ending? And Tang whatshername, whatever happened to her?

I prefer a bit more resolution to the story.

The FL also to me did not do much in the story and I was bored. She basically had a very carefree time with the help of her Golden Thigh ML. She just helped with the compound bow for the Emperor and that's about it. Boring.

ML being so OP and able to guess everything that happened was also boring as we never really find out how he knows so much stuff. Like where are his spies? Are they all deductions???

Read it for the mindless faceslapping.

Ps. Age difference is there. Since its ancient setting, the FL is 14 when the ML falls for her. He is 20 at the time. They get married when she's 15 1/2 to 16 years of age. She's pregnant at 16-17 years. <<less

Good read but the chapters (raws) is super long and it kind of drags a bit. So far liking the MC and her older brother! Love that the ML lets the MC do whatever she wants when he is around. Her younger brother at first is a bit annoying. But he grows on you and you'll start to like him more as the novel goes on.

MC is such a great actress, lol. You'll understand what I mean when you read the novel!

Honestly, not bad, but the FL lacked presence. This made the story more plot-driven than character-driven. It's basically just one drama after another. I kept reading because I was pretty fond of some of the existing side characters. I could have maybe completed it based on this interest. But the MTL was not the most readable (too many characters and titles are introduced, muddying up everything DX).

Summary: The FL, Qin Jiu/Giu, is the legitimate daughter of the Marquis of Loyalty. However, because of an incident with the royal family at... more>> the time, their family was exiled, and the FL had been left to a maid to be taken care of. When things were finally fixed a couple of years later, the maid, rather than returning the real daughter of the Marquis, decided to switch the FL with her own daughter. If things had gone naturally, the FL would have been discovered pretty quickly and got back what was rightfully hers. However, the daughter of the made, Qin Xin, was reborn, and with her knowledge of upcoming events, she twisted things around. Now, in the third iteration of the story, a transmigrator takes the place of the FL, changing the course of history for the second time.

The premise was interesting and the history pretty okay. However, as mentioned, the FL lacks presence XD. She really doesn't do much of anything. She gets to be clever sometimes, but then that's about it. The same goes for the ML, who is your typical omnipotent fresh meat who becomes inexplicably interested in the FL after they first meet. It's really not the best, but it's about the same as most other CN novels of the same genre, so I didn't mind it. If it were completely translated, I would have probably completed it because of my favorite characters. (OH, btw. The first TL is a bit messy. Like, maybe more than just a little bit. It's readable though. And the new TL is very good.)

Now... since I read more than half, I will be giving this a rating! As for the rating. Hmm... I think 2.85/5 just about does it. Seems low, but it really depends on what you're looking for. If what you're interested in is romance, then this is definitely not the story to read. If what you're looking for is face-slapping and intrigue, then this may just do it for you. <<less

I personally hate the story like this. Where the MC transmigrate to the novel book, with the og ML and FL. On the other side it's justified the act of villain, and explain the root on how someone could be bad and sometimes they would not be like that if they'd be saved in time, which is the part that I like. And since it's the focus the author also mostly put a lot of thought on their background story. However most of the time this type of story lack... more>> the understanding on how the MC could be MC on the story and make them a low grade character that turn bad for the sake of the plot. This is the 'i hate part' of this type of story.

Honestly I couldn't see how this plot will be any different than those I've ever read and disappointed to, by read the early chapters. But I'm also curious on how on many platform this story could have a high rating and never bellow 4. Sooo, I'm just gonna read it until I find myself fed up with it. <<less

The MC and ML are really sweet even though there's no true plot for romance. They just naturally fell in love with each other without any hurdle whatsoever. Every scene with them is like a breather from the politics since the main plot revolves around politics. Our MC is such a likeable character and she's very smart. The reborn 'original FL' is not really a problem. She's quite dumb for a reborn person because she thinks nobody knows about her conspiracies, but in fact a lot of people can see... more>> through her.

It doesn't get a 5 star rating because there are no real difficulties for MC and ML. It's a smooth ride for them. <<less

I love the interaction between MC and ML. They make you feel warmth. I truly doesn't understand readers who low rated this. As a person who has read many of transmigrating novels, this novel still able to hook me up. MC wasn't OP, but she's smart. The ML is the one who OP and will come to rescue when she was harmed. Found some comments who feel bad to the other characters who get face slapped, which doesn't make senses at all to me. Because those peoples are the who... more>> harming against MC, and the MC basically just turn the dagger back to them. Above all, this novel is worth to read. <<less

I love this novel so much, I completely read this novel in 3 days

I highly recommend this novel to everyone...

Okay so MC got transmigrated in a novel as Qin Jiu who got swaped by nanny with her child Qin xin, so Qin xin is a FL and 2nd prince Gu jing is ML in novel that our MC got transmigrated into and and yess Qin xin is also reborn, I really find her so annoying like she blamed others for her mistake, she got a golden chance to reborn... more>> but she just wasted it.

I really find empress and MC interaction so cute

Gu zhezhe is ML <<less

I really enjoyed reading this novel! It's quite refreshing since the battle is between a reincarnate and a transmigrator. Both ori!FL and MC have cheats but one is narrow minded and the other looks at thing in a bigger picture. You could see who would win in the end.

So much face slapping thus making the story very entertaining and quite satisfying. The story is fast pace and I do feel it's quite rushing nearing the end of the novel, but still, it's wrapped up nicely. All villains received the retributions... more>> they deserved for whatever misdeeds they have done. It's the definition of "You reap what you sow".

I think, I am so in love with the MC and ML in this novel. MC is cunning, witty and black belly. She conformed to the norms and rules in her current setting and rarely push her modern understanding and ideals into her character and to others, except under certain issue, like how the divorced women should be portrayed in the ancient China society. She knew how to defend herself using her cunning mind and wicked tongue, and only occasionally she was saved by ML (but very rarely). Usually, ML just sat aside and watched the show 😂.

ML has the same descriptions like other novels as being someone with heavenly handsome face and gentle character, but behind the smile, he is a black belly person and very far-sighted. He is a strategist and so calm, rarely show nervousness and anxiety. He is also a gentleman to the core. He didn't slip into MC's room at night nor he showed possessiveness openly. Besides, the way he shower his feelings towards MC is very subtle but so sweet. But he does have golden fingers and MC once wondered, how much ability did he possessed 😂 I am very satisfied with this couple. There's no second ML nor FL to break the couple's and readers' hearts, only passerby who wants to get benefit from MC and ML.

Almost all the villains in this story are quite s*upid and narrow minded. Because they are obsessed with their own greed, they couldn't see the whole situation in a bigger picture and ended up destroying their opportunities and hard work miserably with their own hands. Some lost the chance and people, some got beheaded and some was thrown aside because of their s*upidity.

All characters are lovable even the emperor and empress are wise. No gruesome plot and nasty schemes (rape, kidnapping, torture). I think the plot is quite light but so moving. Just love the antics between MC and ML and how MC hold ML's golden thigh and wanted him to compliment her when she did a great job 😂😂

I think I will reread again when the novel has been fully translated. A very very good novel 👏🏽👏🏽 <<less

While this novel is not the best, it's also not a total piece of garbage.

MC is quite likable, but although she does have some smarts in the beginning, she soon morphs into some sort of OP character, the specific type that is young and lovable to adults but actually really cunning and black belly inside. There are just too many of those MCs in novels already, so this one is nothing new.

There is the typical reconciled reborn Og!FL, who sets herself up against MC. She too is a typical c*ckroach,... more>> even though she suffers all the time from getting face slapped by MC, she still makes it out alive. It's really tiring watching her just not die. This novel also has the typical dead/absent parents, and the evil grandmother and extended family. Now that I think about it, this novel isn't actually that great... <<less
