This is really a gooooood omegaverse novel experience!

After seeing the book cover, I thought this'll be very warm slice of life novel. It is but it's OO instead of AO and my mind's blown up.

The two protagonists are fitted for each other and sm*t sences are exicting at the same time you can feel their love and sincerity of each other. This ride is really pleasant for me... real!

Just like the title described, it’s light, yet intoxicatingly sweet. I’m not a fans of ABO world, but OxO pair or AxA pair or AxBxO pair is my cup of tea. The difficulties lies ahead with their physical limitation, yet love conquers all.

Youth/teenager was saved from the horrible abuse by great beauty, and love bloom from their interaction. I love how youth grow from the low esteemed insecure boy into someone who know how to cherish himself (and pamper our great beauty to the max).

There are so 32 chapters, there is a lot of pain, then the cure comes with warm and cuddly moments, and a beautiful relationship!
These characters are in my heart forever!

as mentioned by many, it's mostly cute (bad background), nicely short, and rather sweet
all nice things having been said many times, my review is probably more rethorical :
Plot wise, it's poor to non existent, it's too hard to believe neither the dad nor the teachers reacted to such obvious abuse, even more when there's a dead giveaway he was not only beaten but r*ped several times (scent that makes the kid ostracized)

the beauty becoming a lover is borderline disturbing : there's age gap, and he keeps calling the younger one a kid, lastly because of the omega paradigm he touches a r*pe victim which is again something « ambiguous » in my book, even with heavy sweetener and a « it can't be helped « situation . Their relationship seems to sprout from need (estrus) lonelines and dependency, it's not emotionally convincing, but it's still a sweet story

on the positive side :

- it's good that the heat thing is reasonable being a once a year thing, a 3 day thing, it's more on par with what we see in nature

- The relationship between the characters is sweet, despite the previous

- the intimate relationship dynamic is praiseworthy ! It's truly a wonder to escape that « top/ bottom « (male/ female ?) dynamic and find an equal relationship between characters of the same gender, as it is strangely next to never the cas in BL

It is a bit of a paradox that this type of equal relationships that were one found in some yaoi, quasi diseêared in novels, became litteraly extinct with omegaverse, can now be reborn in « same gender » omegaverse relationships - How confusing and how confused can the writers / public be ?

Gender questions :

(omegaverse is the most « mysoginistic type of story ever written

let's start with a simple statement nowadays there seems to be a growing debate about gender : but « gender » in that context, is a theory - both recent, with some very dubious origins at that (based on very harmful experiments on kids) - opposite to that biology is facts, among the fact, it has been defined since forever that the female attributes / definition is that they are the one who generate eggs, and in mamals the the who gives birth - these are facts, not theories

from that perspective, no matter what kind of fantasy s€xual attributes were added : omega is female, or in seldom stories hermaphodites

From that perspective : omegaverse shows male/female relationship at its worse : nature never mistreated female as bad as to let them be unilaterally be dependent on males ! If anything nature will always make sure the female who's having the heaviest part in assuring the survival of the species (gestation, raising cubs) is able to freely choose and change partners anytime.
Vulnerability of female is intrinsic to that heavy reproductive responsibility, Nature doesn't add to it, in reverse, it tends to protect them

the male desire to express their own gene leading to agressive or possessive behavior is also what leads to infanticides, if anything this is something evolution strongly tries to contain or mitigates. In fact, nature made a lot of biological device to make sure the genitor is unidentified to protect the offspring from male killing sprees

The bond stuff is the most ridiculous thing ever invented - there is no way Nature would contrain or endanger a super reproductor - as previously mentioned, Nature protect the species as a whole, the paternity obsession, is at individual level, it doesn't benefit the species at lot : the mixing of gene is a must. one should question how female writers came to invent such a toxic, lethal and unilateral dependency ? -

This novel has been on my reading list for months. I finally decided to read it and am satisfied that I did. From the description and reviews of others, I thought firstly that this novel may have angst and serious topics, which I normally dont read. But the description hooked me and it's just my mind stopping me from reading it.

LOVED IT SO MUCH!

The MC and ML has sad background but kind of reality in the omegaverse world : (

Glad it became better after they met and I love how the ML is so sweet and not those cold ones this feels new and I kind of want more o/o pairs now both are so cute and their pheromones must smell good huh. Not much plot going on but it feels like a light read, this is the first time I finished a novel fast.

As the other reviewer said one of the lead's backstory is horribly tragic but this story doesn't focus on that as much as the healing process he goes through after meeting the other ML. Both MC and ML (povs shift so I guess they both are MC) are nice and quite mature. Or I guess MC became mature because of his horrible circumstance.

The narration of the story itself isn't the best and the script is simple, but the translation was great.

-1, Sweet. But very little plot and a bit bland so if your looking for something super full. Critically this wouldn't be best for you.

Anywho, this story is a healing sweet one. Once u get past the tragic sh*t ofc. But dw, as the story is a short one, the sh*t gets wrapped up quickly thankfully. I'm just happy my sweet babies got a HE and were finally doing well in the end.

I wish there was more too short I love the switch relationship that Dynamic Is the Chiefs kiss. Healthy communication, consent the age gap is a little worrying, but this is a fluffy and spicy got to love the smut Hehe.

Aaaaaaaaahh, I can't, this novel is the best omegaverse novel, and thus smut scenes are everything, I never liked so much the smut in a novel/manga, it's so healing and fluffy, chefs kiss❤️

I loved this one. The OXO pair was done well. There was no face slapping, petty drama, no revenge but just healing and growth which kept me engaged. Thanks translator.

A sweet, short novella about an abused teen who falls for an adult who shows him compassion and care. Nice story, while the age difference and the teen's vulnerable state does leave room for an unequal power balance, I think the author avoids this. Not the most unique story out there and not much in terms of plot, but heartwarming and a nice read. Sometimes you just want a story about healing and a healthy, supportive relationship.

A rare omega-omega pairing. Sweet. But very little plot and a bit bland.
