Very long, but it was overall an interesting story with very complicated characters. Every character made mistakes, which made the relationships/interactions/story interesting yet unbearable at times. Probably closer to a 4 than a 5, but the characters are unique enough that I decided to round up.

Flustrating for binging, perfect for episodic reads.

It's so good, but... Isn't this just too long and I don't know if I can praise the author for writing frustratingly petty characters. I wanted to give this a 5 but... I was reminded of the romance part of this story which is not so satisfying. The empress' past blocks her ability to understand love, she can't even be honest to herself. She's like an overworked but uncracked shield and poor ML has to do A LOT to get it to crack. I always pity the one feeling unrequited love, hence, the romance part wasn't a great experience. Honestly, I didn't care much about ML either, Koshar, the FL's brother was my favorite character. That brings to mind... There is not much comedic relief. The story includes so much tense empress work so I felt like we needed some more softener.

About T-rashta and Sh-tshu: [Mild Spoiler] I was planning to continue with MTL but I think I need some break from this story.

I really like this story, even if the development is bit too slow for my liking.

What I trully hate is how difficult is to find a decent translation, honestly I would definitely buy an official ebook either in english or spanish. It's quite disheartening to know the author doesnt really care about a large portion of readers.

I really love this story, as well as the characters, and for once I understand the "villain". I could even sympathize with them.

Love this novel! Navier is just like the empress she is! Heinley is cute and the perfect match for Navier. Sovieshoe deserves what he got for taking Navier granted, and although somewhat pity tr*shta, she's still a horrible person because Navier did nothing to her in the beginning. Moreover, the person that annoys me the most is tr*shta and her lack of common sense, but that doesn't mean Sovieshoe doesn't annoy me as well...

Anyways, awesome novel, I think I have to place this as my third favorite novel!

It's a very good novel, very sad that it's being dropped by request of the author but what can I do. I mean is there even talk of an official English translation?? Idk.

I love MC, she's amazing. She was raised for the lifestyle of an empress (like the politics, ruling etc, not a trophy wife) she had an amicable marriage, even if she didn't consider herself in love with the emperor. She has a good heart under that cold exterior, I wish her husband would remember that but nah he's... more>> following his Father's footsteps. I know some people are sympathetic to rashta bc of her backstory but holy moly she doesn't know her limits, she just takes and takes instead of being the doted concubine away from politics - which as a runaway s*ave is her best scenario. But no, she keeps pestering Navier trying to imitate her and take her place, its just so infuriating. I had to read this in breaks because the emperor's willingness to be blinded/s*upidity, plus rashes little white lotus act kept sending me into a rage or kept making me feel hurt for Navier. Only Navier & Heinley's interactions kept me from going nuts. But of course it gets dropped as they good stuff's beginning. <<less

the emperor is super s*upid. The concubine is annoying as fck. But the MC is super smart. And the ML is soo cutee. Overall the story is a good roller coaster ride. Maybe if you watch kdrama the world of married, this is kind of similar in term of having your emotion goes up and down

I don't know how I did it but I actually read the raws using only google translate.

This is such a good novel, totally recommend it for those people who are looking for romance genre novel.

There seems to be misunderstanding between ML and the Emperor it could've been solved if they communicated well, they are friends since childhood it doesn't make sense they can talk political issues after having arguement while can't discuss their "plans" in the future. Well, maybe it is because they are taught to talk only official issues and not peraonal that's why they had a hard time expressing their feelings towards one another.

Almost everybody in my circle have shared with each other their joys and woes while reading this novel. Despite knowing the ex-husband's side of the story, we agree that it is his fault for being an incompetent person as a ruler AND man. The MC is smart and wise. Her status of being a divorcee is quite neglectable compared to her manner of ruling or administration. It took me two days to catch up with the release progress. I really love this novel, besides Lucia.

The characters in the story are well portrayed and there seems to be this big mystery behind that you keeps you continuing reading, while praying it wasn't the ML that plotted it.

It may seems slow in the beginning, but it is with a purpose. I love how the character of everyone builds up slowly - especially the villainess. And it is hard to tell if certain male characters - whether they meant... more>> well or not...
