The Secret Society Kisaragi has one mission: world domination! They claim to be an evil organization, but their scientist is eccentric, their hot female generals wear little clothing, and they’re surprisingly concerned about the fate of the world!?

No. 6 is a Combatant for Kisaragi, meaning his body has been reconstructed to be stronger and obey the orders of the generals. His latest mission? No matter how much I've pushed myself to continue reading it, I couldn't.

Old jokes, ret*rded pushover MC and ugly illustrations simply killed my interest in this novel.

Novel is trying to make fun of the same old standard isekai cliché but if you've ever tried to read another parody novel before, you will find 90% of the jokes here repetitive.

The real killjoy is MC though, who is acting like a dog in heat most of the time. If there is a friendly female organism in vicinity he will agree to whatever... more>> the said organism demands, no matter how silly or unreasonable they are, while having all kinds of delusions in his ret*rded head.

World-building is lacking, the setting looks contradictory. The so-called 'evil organisation' looks like a group of childish chuunis.

It's pretty hard to find any good points here. <<less

It's so hilarious, basically if you like KonoSuba comedy style, you will like this since Author is the one who write KonoSuba and this Novel.

You will see KonoSuba Reference here and there and it's absolutely hilarious.

This novel is not meant to take it seriously and MC is a scum (yes, like Kazuma)

We have bunch of loveable dorky characters, everytime they appear it is absolutely hilarious.

The MC is not Herbivores.

I also read the manga, great art.

This is hilarious, especially the MC, he's funny af. My kind of MC.

An interesting and unique premise as well. Technology+sci-fi and magic+fantasy? Instant read.

Oooookay, super early review. Not too muh to go on yet, but I'll do it this way.

Pros:

-hilarious

... more>> -MC is not completely spineless, though pretty much everyone with decent screentime are arse, including him.

-characters are interesting so far, but three girls have been sentenced to non-relevance, at least for a while.

Cons:

-again, every character with decent screentime are arse, so IF you dislike it, then yeah.

-quite a bit of the jokes are vulgar, so that's that

-translation is secondhand from jap>kor>eng so accuracy mightnot be pitch perfect

-continuing on from the last point, it also means that if the kr translation is stalled, which the eng translator says it currently is, everything slows down.

As I said, very early, so it might change later.

Though maybe someone would pick it up to tl it from jap to eng directly, which would solve half my current lialis problems. No offense, I'd love it really, even if it's somewhat rude to the current tler. <<less

A very nice series with a weak start but has a comedy along the way and will tell you things that you will want to look forward.

PLOT

Just by reading the synopsis, you can guess that this will have explorations, wars, some politics, organizations and others. There will be also mysteries of the world like magic, creature and ancient civilization. Just from these topics, you might think a comedy will make everything half-assed. Well, maybe it did a bit. As when I was reading this story, I feel uncomfortable on how... more>> they can continue their comedic conversation, or act like nothing when serious things happens. The author said that the heart of this series is comedy. But honestly although there are scenes that make me laugh, the lack of serious atmosphere here somehow ruin some scenes.

They are evil organization and but there are no scenes that was written of them doing a very horrible things (or maybe the author just avoid writing them). Of course it's fine to me, but considering that they are huge serious organization, they lacked of "evilness" than what they seem.

Even if I rated it 5 stars, I feel like that start of the story, and the planning of their organization is completely lacking. Sending a one agent and an android in a planet? No matter how I saw it, it's not practical.

Now, as of volume 5, the main cast are all assembled, and compare to the previous volume that almost lack of excitement, this one will make you look forward to the next volume. At least, we can expect a lot of things here, as the first 5 volumes are mostly about how they will gain a foothold in the new world. I'm looking forward, on Rose's past, the lost civilization, the magic and gods, and exploration of the planet.

CHARACTERS

Now about the MC. He is scum, but he is kind. He always spouted insults or idiotic lines but he know what subject not to touch. He acts selfishly but he cares on his subordinates. In short, he's a "kind scum". Compare to Kazuma, the MC here might be plain, but it's nice to see his rare moments of caring for others.

Alice. She might have a venomous tongue, but she actually always support the MC, even than her creator. As she was actually created as a support of Agent Six, she can tolerate his actions. She's happy how the MC considers her partner and she's so capable and actually the mind of the group.

Even though some characters act like an idiots, they are actually pretty well written, and have a unique charm for each of them.

TL:DR: This is a fantasy/sci-fi/comedy series with somehow weak start and might be boring to some, but there are lots of funny scenes along the way that will make you laugh, and you can see how the MC and others slowly create their place in the planet. Volume 5 will tell you how everything is more like a prologue to organization's world domination in another world. The characters sometimes acts like an idiot but are interesting. The world building is good even though there's a few. I'm looking forward on the next volume and have a great expectations on what will happen next. <<less
