It's very sad that xiaojie was demonized, but the demon that took over his body feels even sadder, because Qianxun's power was used on him at the last minute during demonization, the demon had different personality compared to the other demons, he feels alone because he's not fit around other demons, and cannot mingle around other humans since he's a demon.

In fact, there are several demons who lived like humans do, which feels very sad when they are killed.

The invasion of demons is like a rough cruel means to continue their bloodline since they have no choice after all because they are born too powerful and their disadvantage was, they can't reproduce. So the demons aim to integrate with the humans and cause a bloody evolution.

Thinking about this, the reincarnation of FL made the human side adapt and survive effectively which in return, they get also more powerful with the help of the demon crystals. This may be the reason why FL had the advantage of boundless knowledge about the apocalypse. It was mentioned before (idk which alternate world) that the demons travel through time and also that, the head of the demons attempted to reproduce their bloodline in different planets. It suggests that, only the demons are capable of allowing FL to reincarnate or to dream about the parallel world.

I found some inconsistencies from the other book if this is truly a prequel of the LVG. The concept of time is confusing. It would be have been better if it was further elaborated and explored by FL in either of the two books. That's why I rated it with 4 stars.

Jiang Xiaoujie became a demon and wandering around all alone. Our Protagonist couldn't kill him then. But what about the future? There were many outcomes I could think of but the author just left. At one hand highlighting Xiaoujie then after a few paragraphs showed happy Chu Qianxun. I don't think she would be able to forget that child especially because of Winter Heart and how the were the last time they met.
