Short, rich, and handsome, Lin Feiran was always the center of attention. But after transferring schools in his second year of high school, he discovered that his limelight was snatched by his Adonis classmate, Gu Kaifeng.

Lin Feiran was very resentful, and he and Gu Kaifeng became archnemesis (one-sidedly). Although the two lived together, they were like strangers.

When Lin Feiran went back home to attend his grandfather’s funeral, he accidentally inherited the Yin-Yang eyes that had been passed down from generation to generation. After gaining the ability to see ghosts, the timid Lin Feiran discovered that his two-person dormitory was actually a sixteen-person (ghost) room. Every day, he was scared to the point of collapsing.

The more aggravating thing is that because of Gu Kaifeng’s innate body constitution, he possessed an abundant amount of Yang energy. Lin Feiran found out that whenever he touched Gu Kaifeng, Gu Kaifeng’s Yang energy could temporarily disable his Yin-Yang eyes. A light touch would disable it for five minutes, a kiss for an hour, and so on…

Lin Feiran had no choice but to throw himself into his archnemesis’s embrace. This complete reversal in attitude to being intimate with Gu Kaifeng persisted every day from morning till night.

When sleeping, he must squeeze in the same bed as Gu Kaifeng. Going to the toilet? He must drag Gu Kaifeng with him. Homework? It must be done hand-in-hand with Gu Kaifeng… He also had to try his best to persuade the teacher to make him Gu Kaifeng’s deskmate. Every day in class, he would rub Gu Kaifeng’s calf with his foot beneath the desks…

Following the clingy little bastard’s sudden change in personality, the initially shocked Gu Kaifeng gradually became smitten. Every day he would chase Lin Feiran to flirt with him, make crazy confessions, and even routinely push him against the wall and kiss him…

Gu Kaifeng: “Don’t you like me? I like you, so let’s be together.”

Lin Feiran: “I don’t like you! Don’t come over!”

Five minutes later, to avoid seeing ghosts, Lin Feiran sneakily came to touch Gu Kaifeng.

The novels about romance and ghost, MC helps them solve their problems and he often gets something in return (like to leave his room cuz he wants to live peacefully). Some of his adventures helping ghost sand ML thinking "what the hell is he doing" is funny and sweet as the romance progresses cuz MC clings to ML to not see ghost (doesn't mind helping some but prefers not seeing them) so ML assumes MC is in love and has a weird way of showing it XD. MC tho is... more>> straight so it takes a while for MC to accept that kind of relationship but once he does this not too much changes as MC is a tsundere.

It's an enjoyable novel but for me at least ghost stuff was a little too much, most of the extras are about helping ghost with some of their lovey-dovey time. Also, MC's strong denial that he's gay I personally don't like but although I didn't like some parts of the novel I still think it's well written and entertaining. <<less

Cute, adorable, super fluffy and simply hilarious!!! MC gives so much secondhand embarrassment but thanks to ML's shamelessness and devotion (and how hilariously the story is written) I didn't actually feel too much of the secondhand embarrassment. I was too busy either laughing or aww-ing at the main CP.

I really enjoy it and cant stop reading it. It's funny and cute, I never got bored and very interesting to see whats happening next. Make me sad to see that I finish it so quick.

I do recommend you to read it if you are in mood for easy to read and no angst.

This this this is super, extremely cute! The interactions between the MC and ML is too adorable and sweet!!!! So much dog food! And and the supernatural aspect of the novel is super interesting too. It's definitely a good read!

Super cute. I went into this with zero expectation of it being good, because it sounded like the typical weak MC who has to be protected x cool and possessive ML. And it does live up to that, but it's somehow still good. Even better since the ML doesn't go too far with his teasing, like in some other romance novels.

The MC is a tsundere through and through. Really soft, prideful to a fault, but he's somewhat honest with his feelings even as he says the opposite. ML is soooo... more>> flirty and makes all of the moves but he also gets very pent up from the MC's unintentional actions. Their relationship is really sweet once they figure things out. It's a lot of secondhand embarrassment, so be warned, but it's also insanely cute >_<

I think one of the best parts of this novel, though, is the ghost backstories. I think each and every one of them were bittersweet and really poetic in a sense. Most people are probably reading this for the couple though, but it's a really nice touch that serves as a contrast to the intense romantic tension and relationship fluff throughout the rest of the story.

Overall, better than I thought. It's not perfect, and there are some things I'm not a huge fan of.

I don't really like how, before the MC actually says he likes the ML back, the ML is constantly pushing him down and kissing him. I guess you can chalk it up to him being just irritated at the MC's hot and cold attitude. Still, it's a trope I'm tired of at this point.

The amount of sweetness, fluff, and funny that was shoved down my throat while reading this is inconceivable.

The MC is a rather proud character and the ML is insanely pe*verted.

The misunderstandings will make you wheeze out tears of laughter uncontrollably.

Just read it if you want to stuff your heart with cuteness.

This story is unbelievably sweet and comedic, and I absolutely loved reading every second of it. It's a light-hearted read, one that doesn't involve any angst. It's a cute and wonderful short read. I was honestly hesitant to read this, honestly, but I'm glad I did!

The characters in this story are all incredibly likeable in my opinion, and their interactions are all fun to read! Honestly, I couldn't stop smiling while reading this- and I even nearly cried during some of the more touching moments in this novel! I suffer under the terrible curse of felling ashamed for others, especially in books or movies, which makes me unable to bear most comedy related genres. But this novel somehow is the exception. Yes he makes embarrassing moves, and behaves like a brainless idiot, but I just find it amusing and I don't suffer the humiliating feeling of being the one that went through that embarrassing moment! Also this book stuffs you full with dog food, you wont starve I promise!

Later in Chapter 13 we find out that ML has always been gay and his family and surroundings accept it, his family is rich, oh and interesting fact MC was always his typ. ^^

Personality: vain, proud, c*cky, honest, friendly, fresh young boy, competitive

family relations: MC's father is very ambitious (+ his mother, but we barely get any information of her other than, she and her husband get along well) and he (they?) went to work in Europe, leaving his (their) son in a boarding school.

MC gets along very well with his grandfather, who liked to tell ghost stories, and is a shaman, after he died in Chapter (maybe 5), MC received the family`s inheritance, the Yang eye, with which one can see ghosts, but can't tell anybody about them.

Summary: (includes spoilers!!!)

MC always received admiration, and attention from his classmates, but when he changed schools, the school Adonis stole his spot light, so he decided one-sidedly they are archenemies, to top it of they are roommates. This Adonis is superior in everything, his grades (especially literature), his looks (height, muscles), his shoes (in Chinese schools you had only a few ways to personalize oneself, for example through accessories)

But because of his fear of ghosts he had to give up on this (on sided) riveraly and stick to his human talisman that enables him to not seeing ghost! To be more specific he was a little fox demon sucking on this adonis, excessive Yang energy. &Lt;- joke

The Adonis however was gay and found that his ideal, that previously always tried to make trouble, suddenly stuck to him like a glue. He was at first astonishing but soon completly fell for this sticky cake that always teased him.

After the Adonis continuous provocations that MC dismissed as jokes/fooling around, because he didn't know ML was bent, the tsundere himself got bent.

After they get together they spread a lot of dog food! So many lovey dovey moments~

At the end + extras we see how this couple helps more ghosts with their regrets.

(Because of the baby's occasionally possession for love and attention) Slowly but surly their relationship progresses!

Hot moments (not very detailed, more teasing) of boys in love, Studying, departure of friends, military service, cohabiting, sticky love~

My short review: at the start focus on ghosts, but later focuse lies on the CP, their reliance, love and trust in each other. It's just a huge sugar jar with a proud little shou and a reliable, indulging gong (hidden rough=perv.)

Short summary: introduction of MC's personality, MC's trouble, ambiguous actions, misunderstandings, blooming love, trust, reliance, tsundere, reliable ML, big perv. With good self control, confession, love, love, love~

Really fluffy and sweet story. The best is the ML. I wish the families of MC and ML had more scenes in the story but overall this is a good novel you can read again if your hungry for dog food.

The extras are cute but not needed to finish the story

Follow those sweet boys in their supernatural adventures, all through high school years till university, moving from blossoming love and funny misunderstanding to deep love and sweet confessions. There is no angst and it's all fluff till the end. The side couple is also very endearing. This is the type of story that translates well into a donghua or even a movie version.

This reader finds this story funny and how the ML keep mis-reading the signs just because the MC makes it so easy to misunderstand.

It has fluff, it has cuteness, and it has its hilarious moments. The reason why I gave this novel 3 stars was simply for the fact that this was all the novel really had. I mean the story wasn't bad. I liked the interactions between the leads but I found the whole storyline a little dull. I guess it's nice to read these kind of anticlimactic storylines once in a while. For me it's the kind of novel in passing that I would enjoy once but wouldn't read again and... more>> eventually fade away from mind with time.

I recommend this to those who are tired of dog blood dramas or storylines that need a lot of brain power to read through. <<less

I always thought myself to be a person who couldn't do a story that straight up relied on fluff. I really did. Until I met this story. The author delivered a nice concise fluffiness that wasn't too overwhelming for a person like me who prefers action/scheming based plots. She really executed this fluffy story brilliantly. The amount of sweetness is just right, the length is just right, and the romance and plot dynamic is just right. Really recommend.

I'm also going to send my prayers in for the author who got... more>> sentenced to 10 years of prison in 2017 for just distributing a BL erotica that excelled 7000 sales. She already lives a tragic life and god there's so many things wrong with that shitty sentence and one day I hope she has justice done for her. All wishes and regards to her. <<less

Very very sweet and fluffy, with a bit of ghost thrown in to mix it up a bit! This story was really refreshing to read and is an example of using tropes to the max effect! Everyone is very likeable, from the main characters to side characters and to all the ghosts. The ghosts helped push the plot along and added poignancy to the story; at least one of their stories will touch you!

Our MC Lin Feiran, resident Little Sticky Cake is very likeable and cute! He may start off... more>> seeming prickly and arrogant, but he’ll quickly grow on you as he starts to see ghosts hehe. And can I just say, what is with boys and their obsession with super expensive shoes that look weird XD. Through the ghosts readers can see how he actually has a very kind heart and is willing to help those who need it. His tsundereness and cluelessness when it comes to the ML Gu Kaifeng was also very funny and adorable, never coming off as too much. Together they make a great couple, and give readers the best dog food (　’ω’) 旦~~

Gu Kaifeng was quite swoony as the ML! He may seem super cool at first, but he’s actually quite the softie and sweetheart. His constant horniness for Lin Feiran was hilarious, and it’s nice to read about a ML who isn’t super overbearing. Together our MC and ML have great chemistry together and seeing Gu Kaifeng courting Lin Feiran was both funny and hot, especially knowing why the MC was sticking to our ML (^ω~)

The plot moves quickly, and each ghost story serves as a kind of mini arc. My personal favorites would be the mommy cat and the school principal, but they were all touching with a hint of humor. One of my only complaints is that the model student ghost didn’t seem to get a story resolution, when it seemed like the author was getting ready to give him an arc at the beginning of the novel.

Lastly I read about how the author, Lu Tianyi was unfairly sentenced to ten years in prison for distributing and selling one of her novels. I had heard about an author being sent to jail, but didn’t realize it was her. This made me deeply saddened and angry for her, she seems to be a very talented writer whose books have given many people comfort. I mean according to CNN even rapists in China are only sentenced to 3-10 years! She’ll probably never read this, but I still want to say a giant thank you to Lu Tianyi for the longer novels and short stories you’ve written!! They have given me comfort during this difficult year and there are many people wishing you well and who are your fans!

This is my first time writing a review for a novel because I enjoyed it soooo much. These two are so sweet and watching them together was really fun. There are a lot of cute and funny moments in this novel but also some that will melt your heart. And the gong is one of the best I have seen.

So so so funny. I love the ghosts, and Lin Feiran‘s reactions to them. Honestly, I’m not that far into the book yet, but even being scared to death of something, you’d think he’d get used to it. But I digress. The story is a total gem. I love it. I found myself laughing almost every chapter. And LF is really just so shameless, it’s adorable. Exactly how Gu Kaifeng feels as well, I’m sure.

This novel is the cutest most adorable one I ever read. I love the characters and the storyline, it's so good. I absolutely recommend this novel if you want to read a fluffy love story with an interesting ghost plot!
