“I may kill you and take all the money you’ve to inherit for myself. Even so, are you alright with me?”

When we were done with the marriage, those words I nonchalantly tossed at her. For a moment, she made a face of surprise, before smiling as she assented.

“That’s fine. It’s only a matter if I can get you to fall before that, right?”

Her challenging words somehow made her out as a gallant warrior, making me open my eyes wide for a second. And within the day, I had inputted, ‘the probability I can kill my wife without being found out,’ into my glasses. After entering that simple question, the wearable terminal took in various affairs, computed to a precise value of them, and output a probability.

I thought to write a review for this, but I feel that any words that I use will result in spoiler or lower the story effect, so i'll put on the box.

Spoiler

It start as no emotional story, then it start to get annoying, then it start to get emotional. But when I thought it will be like another emotional ending scene, it hit like a bucket of water being splashed on your face when sleeping and unconsciously my tears falls. I'm not someone that his emotion easily influenced, but the last part is just somehow hit me that I unconsciously cried.

Nice read. MC married his wife to save his grandfather's business. Even though he willingly married her, he still resented his wife. I do believe MC is in the wrong in this and was adequately punished later.

Spoiler

MC's wife got into a car accident and was in a coma for two years. He had fallen in love with his wife already and never gave up on her, even though everyone else had.

Note: "A Game To Make Him Fall" is his wife's POV. Reading the wife's story after this one makes 1+1=3. :) <<less

I'm mainly writing this to remind myself not to re-read this...

This was poorly written without much character development - in a first-person narrator that the reader has no empathy with because the world and the MC is so badly explained. I tried to read the other story - from the female perspective - but it had the same problem. The beginning was okay in that one, though. But that was it.

Short but simply beautiful love story ❤️

There is no smut here but both of their affectionate gestures were wonderfully written 😊

Our strange game continues from our ML perspective. I was still laughing most of the way through.

Our semi futuristic setting plays well although it is not very expansive. The dark humor of our ML made him likable even when I disliked some of his motivations and feelings. I was still smiling at the end of this story. You will too.

I went into this without reading any reviews, just the summary, and wow, I'm trying hard not to cry in the subway. It's short, but beautifully written. He narrated this in a nonchalant, apathetic way, and it's just so funny to me lmao. Till the last portion of course. I can't say anything more other than this is 100% recommended to anyone who wants a quick and beautiful read.

A light read with a handful of onions. You don't want to cry, but you can't help it.

ML is an awkward person. He hate her but continue to live with her while spewing some hurtful nonsense to her.

For better reading experience, please read the wife's pov in A Game to Make Him Fall

A simple yet beautiful story. It doesn't mince your time with complicated plot developments, it's just a husband and wife in an apartment reflecting on their marriage. Try it out! It's only about 15 minutes long.

I still did not read the other part but God, good one-shot. Although it is short-lived it still feels appropriate so to speak, it is like the measure of just and necessary time. The progress around your relationship is wonderful, highly recommended.

A touching love story, to say the least. There are some elements of tragedy in it, but in the end it is a happy ending.

We see everything from the male MC perspective, and that is why this only gets 4. Because honestly, I feel that the female perspective would have been a lot more interesting.

And for some reason even as I hate tragedy endings, I was hoping that this one would have a tragedy ending.

Eitherway, this oneshot can get a further longer adaptation. Is it Mango Approved? It is a... more>> short 10 minute read.. Just go for it. <<less

Both of the one-shots made me quite teary, though I'm slightly partial to the male side of the story to the alternative female side of it because I read that one first.

Spoiler

I did find it strange at the beginning, with the emotionlessly stunted male stating the probability that he could kill his wife without finding out, whilst she, somehow, still falls in love with him. But, all was good when I read the female version.

When he went to buy flowers for her, albeit, 5-6 years too late, only to discover she has been in an accident, it made me quite teary as he didn't have a chance to show more of his affection. Though, all was good when she woke up after seven years???

Anyway, I wish there will be a sequel to this one-shot, or more like this I can find, as it's so poignant.

Overal, reading both of the one-shots were really interesting as the perspective of the characters were really different and I highly recommend to read both of the one-shots. <<less

I first read the wife's part first then husband's, and it is wonderful. Although short, the story was written well and the translation is smooth. Although I didn't cry, I was moved nonetheless.

At first, I was disappointed because the so called 'novel' was too short but once I started reading it, I became captivated by the story. The Husband's awkward actions were fun to watch and the Wife's witty comebacks were very amusing. Even after finishing the novel, I repeated it a few times straight.

Although I personally consider myself pretty good at controlling emotions, this is one of the very few novels that made me cry (made my eyes moist). It felt that touching to me. Give it a try, I... more>> am sure you too will love it.

Also, this novel also has another part which depicts the story from the Wife's perspective which is a must-read if you liked this novel and it makes the story whole. It is even better to read this novel first and then the other one named 'A Game to Make Him Fall'. <<less

That's an interesting story. But

Spoiler

I don't get why he hated her? Just because "he felt that he was bought by money"? What a silly reason. Why did he want to kill her? No acceptable reason again... I guess it just started as a game for both of them. I think he didn't really mean to kill her. Because even if he hadn't been caught, mu*der is a scary thing, not only because you will be punished. Cap is here ;)

There's nothing thirlling in this story, but it's well written and fun to read. <<less

I once avoided this story because of the tragedy tag but after reading some of its reviews, it didn't seem this story had a sad ending so I brace myself to read it in the end.

And I successfully fall in love with this story. ML wasn't your ideal ML but he was a bit adorable in his own way. I think he already fell in love with FL for a long time already but he himself didn't notice it because of his pride and also because he always focused on... more>> the wrong thing. Well, I'm happy it wasn't too late for him to love FL properly and I hope he will cherished her after this. <<less

This is a one-shot, if you're looking for intricate plot or extensive character development, look somewhere else. However, I personally loved this short piece of work, it really does hammer in the author's intent, which I assume to be a story to demonstrate how important it is to treasure what you have. A relatively smaller novel, but equally as great as any other
