Part 2 is better than part 1. FL here is part 1’s BFF who was left at the alter by her fiancé/husband. Her story and her character is much better and less annoying. Both FL and ML in this story have tragic/depressing pasts and betrayal. Solid 3 star ⭐️

This novel is gold. One of the best I've read. I cried a lot for what Lin Li, Zhao Han and especially Xiaobin. But it has a very happy ending. I'm so satisfied.

This is the continuation of Lin Li and Zhao Han's story from First Marriage Then Love. They were just secondary characters there. I'm glad the author continued their story. Lin Li's story is really sad, I'm glad to read this because eventhough there's a lot of tears, she had Zhao Han to lend her a shoulder.

Lin Li just lost her baby from previous fiancee, and Zhou Han has a son who is very insecure. She really vented out her affections to the son, and the son was really neglected by the Dad.

I gushed out a lot of tears for their experience. It's a very good story but also heartbreaking in some ways, also it's more realistic. You can't get over a failed relationship immediately. Although I don't share Zhou Han's belief that a new relationship would heal an old one, I think the timing for them was just right. It was a phase where Lin Li acts strong eventhough she's hurting because she lost her baby. Zhou Han saw through her and they both l**ked their wounds and supported each other. There's no misunderstanding here, they were quite open to each other. She was also the reason for Zhou Han to get closer to his son again.

There's no ultimate villain here. (Although Cheng Xiang kept trying to say he loves her and wants her back, he kept getting held back by the other girl, so he's not worth any of her affection. And he's not really villainous. More like his mom is.) It's more like they had to pass the hurdles that were blocking their hearts and ultimately, they did with each other's support and love each other. The ending

Four chapters in and I’m bawling. Definitely you have to read the first book in order to understand what’s going on in the second book in the first few chapters. Super excited and happy that this novel is being translated, can’t wait to read the rest of the chapters! Thank you translator!

I just happened to come across this while browsing NU latest posts and it seems a promising start. Language is fairly fluid and the premise seems interesting. This story FMTL2 continues the lives of some important side characters from the original FMTL story. Thanks translator and keep up the hard work.

I read the first novel (Su yincheng and Anran) just to read about Lin li and Zhou Han, I really liked that it is different from the first book, I liked it and cried for both leads, like Zhou Ham and Lin li, we can read the bitterness, sadness, fear, frustration, all of that comes to you while you read how they try to heal their wounds, and without realizing it brings them closer, when you realize both ML and FL are in love but still can't trust to love... more>> again, I really liked how Zhou Han at the end takes Lin Li and takes her to his side, how he gives her her place before Cheng Xiang's family, although it was hard for him to assimilate the betrayal and knowing that Zhao Jiabin was not his son, he accepted it, the epilogue at the end lets us see that Lin li got what she wanted the most although she almost lost it for doubting, I am glad that in the end the one who resolved everything was Zhou Han, not to mention the extra of Su jijiao and Ye Ziwen, I would have liked read more of them, I liked all the books or novels of this universe, although I must I can say that I'm worried about the author's approach to make his characters suffer for first love, luckily with Su jijiao and Ye ziwen that doesn't happen.
