As much as I love the first story of this series, I feel like the more Qingxiao moves forward to a different world, the easier it gets for her to get the girl which kind of got the story to be boring.

Her own system tells her that the more she proceeds into the worlds, she'll have a harder time with completing the storyline and it's a load of bullcrap. I think it would've been better if MC had more of the forced plot points given to her from the first... more>> story provided on all of the worlds so at least she's motivated to put more effort in it.

I'm currently reading the 6th world which is supposed to be an S-rank difficulty and it felt like, they met, MC was nice, they get together, the end, all in a few chapters. The trend of "host takes over > host makes nice with FL > host gets the girl" is implemented on all of the worlds I've read so far. Simply handing MC the FL without even a lick of struggle made reading the same pattern over and over again turned the sparkly interest I had into a dull dust of thinking "when will this end?".

Some of these storylines could've had some great potential, but it's seriously the same schtick plot despite the different setting. Then the author just fills the rest of the story with side character plot fillers that isn't even necessary. Why? Because the MC and FL are already together after 3-5 chapters. If MC had more of a struggle, then those side characters could've been a great help for getting them together, but no, they're just there for filler side stories that nobody cares about.

1/5 Thought to have found an awesome Yuri story, turns out to be the greatest disappointment in my life. <<less

Spoiler

I finished mtl this back in April and it was AMAZING you're right, sweetness all the way through. I do feel kinda sad that MC is the only one that has memories of their time together, so congrats to the last world. I enjoyed all of them but I like the 1st, 3rd, and 4th worlds the best. The 8th world was hilarious, when ML took the FL's golden finger and made all the men gay for him.

I really like it, each arc felt like a whole story. Added this to my favorite Chinese yuri novel list! Keep on recommending the fluff. I didn't bother bookmarking the sweet scenes because literally the entire novel is sweet.

Something I found interesting is how their virtual persona are opposite of their irl self. Like MC is a poor, indebt, and had to do virtual missions for money yet in the virtual worlds, she's like the richest or most powerful while FL is the sick princess of the empire yet she's so unfortunate in the virtual worlds.

Btw, I love white lotuses. Like true ones, not the green tea types. So pure and innocent, hardworking and sweet; gotta love them

Why can't we have female protagonists who don't get r*ped/kidnapped/sexually assaulted? Worse,
Spoiler

the r*pey mu*dering obsessed ML keeps his memories and follows her from world to world

[collapse]

The above, alongside a long dull romance focused plot, leads to me hating this. Even without the tragedy baiting I would have dropped this due to the uninspired monotonous plot.

I'm giving this 5 stars in that this was one of the first QT Yuri I've read. I wouldn't say that it's like the most fantastic thing I've ever read or anything, but it's still a pretty good binge read.

Story:

Ok, so MC works for this VR/research company of some sort and she's supposed to do all these different tasks as the villainess character to make the FL happy. The system analyses that the best way to do so is too make the FL fall in love with ML, so as... more>> the villainess, she gets assigned missions like bullying the FL to get the ML and FL closer together. However, MC finds loopholes in the system's missions and ends up causing the FL to fall in love with her instead. MC also eventually falls madly in love with FL and later we learn
Spoiler

that FL was some kind of depressed kiddo in the real world and wanted to die or smth and so her family invents this VR simulated reality to make her happy. They tried setting her up with a ML of some sorts, believing that having a boy x girl romance would make her happy but ofc it just makes FL even more depressed instead. So they try adding spice by sending in a female villainess character instead and when they realized that FL is happier with MC, they urge MC to keep doing what she is doing. They then tell MC to keep going through these worlds and completing missions if she wants to meet the real FL

[collapse]
. The overarching plot is somewhat cliche and the arcs do get a bit bland as we go through the same storyline over and over again, but the fluffiness of the couple was just too cute for me to drop the novel.

Characters:

MC is more serious than some of the usually dense Yuri MC's we have, but she's quite loveable/kind in her own way and I think FL is the one that gets more development than the MC in terms of backstory. FL is a bit of a yandere, more of the black-bellied type which is pretty cute in of itself. The ML and other side characters, however, are really static, and don't really have much use other than being props for the main couple.

Translation Quality:

Good, minimal grammar mistakes and very understandable. Thank you TL-sama for all your hard work! <<less

I did really like this story, but it does have some flaws that make me give it a 4 instead of 5.

Starting with the good: The first few worlds especially are very detailed, to the point where even though it is a QT novel, I could see there being a complete novel for each world. Lots of sugary sweetness with the MC and FL. The MC is doing these tasks for money: she has a lot of debt, but not for a particularly bad reason. At first, the system gives... more>> MC tasks that have to be done to progress the plot, but the MC doesn't want to hurt the FL, so she uses loopholes to technically complete the plot points in a way that doesn't abuse the FL. It is only a bit into the first world that the MC realizes that she has fallen for the FL. This is the part I really like: the system doesn't try to stop her. The priority of the mission is the FL's happiness, so the system is okay with supporting the MC as long as the FL is happy. The MC continues to use all her would be rewards to have the heroine of the 2nd and 3rd worlds be the FL as well because she doesn't want to leave her. They have a really solid relationship, and spend entire lifetimes together.

Now for the bad parts, though they aren't that much. Up until the 3rd world is done, I would have given 5 stars, but the problems emerge more from there. Without too much detail, it is at this point that the MC finds out the FL is a real person and continues tasks in order to meet her. Starting in the 4th world, the "plot points" are removed because she has full permission from upper management, and can purely focus on being with the FL. However, this makes it feel sort of aimless. It was fun seeing how she navigated the plot with loopholes. Without the plot, every world felt the same, to the point where after a month, I don't really remember some of the later worlds. In each one, the MC and FL immediately get together. No drama, no fuss. So there isn't really development anymore. Although it is a QT novel, the FL feels the exact same in all of the worlds: not even really showing different parts of her personality. One of the draws of these types of novels is that even though they are the same people, you get to see them in different ways. The only progress is in the single chapters between worlds in reality. I think the author could tell they were dragging on too long, because later arcs get shorter and shorter. 1st is 50 chapters, the next few are 30, then some that aren't even 20.

Overall, it is a good novel, it just felt like it ran too long where nothing happened. 80-90% of the development happened in the first 3 worlds. More than half in the first world itself where the relationship was actually developing. The other 7 are just for sugary sweetness. <<less

A recommend read. Good read and it's sweet as heck. (so far)

So far so good. The pace is nice for their relationship ain't too hasty and the plot is moving well along..... Caught up to the translation, going to hop on to MTL and read the rest.

This work is quite similar / or at least the plotwise is similar to another work which I highly recommend "Villainess, I'll Pamper You". The MTL of this work is easy to read. Worth reading to the end.

I love the interactions between the two female leads. I'm going to treat each arc as their own story with their own beautiful ending. I highly recommend this novel to those who love fluffy romance.

So fluffy and sweet, the leads are so cute together, and the little details about the characters are very refreshing. Male lead is like tasting durian in your fruit salad tho.

Started reading this the moment I started with chapter 1.

Out of all the GL stories out there I'd say that this story is adequate and would make you want to binge read this. The plot of this felt flowy and shows certain events and scenarios that felt like the MC's world-hopping is not rushed when she completes her mission. It felt like this story was something I have never read before even though there are other similar stories out there that also show the MC world-hopping and completing missions. The... more>> only thing is that, as I've only read about the MC being in the first world on this story, the storyline of the MC being in the first world felt firm in a way that the plot line is--like I said, "flowy".

This is a definitely a must read for those that like GL stories, especially the kinds of stories that are "flowy". <<less

It's fluffy and cute! If you just want fluffy yuri then this is for you.

I gave it 4 stars because it's too shallow for me. Idk maybe because it's only mtl? I want to read a proper translation if that's the case. The cuteness of the characters made me stay until now lol

So far, the arcs here have been dragged too long. Don't get me wrong, I like long slow-born stories but in this novel, the FL likes her already from the start and the story has been prolonged in... more>> an unconventional way. I think every arc is promising but the story flows in a boring way. *Sighs*

I still like it tho It reminds me of Villainess, I'll pamper you. It's really similar in a way they dote their FL unconditionally which is very sweet.

Anyways, the flirting here is heavy so be careful of the dog foods. I warned you. <<less

An okay read, but nothing special. The story itself is fluffy and straightforward, with little in the ways of tension and drama. World building can be a bit iffy at times as it's obvious that the author is making stuff up as they go along, but that doesn't really matter for such a simple story. The FL and MC are both powerful and easily drawn to each other no matter what, and the plot and villains of each world can only barely be considered window dressing for the fluff. If... more>> that's the kind of stuff you're into, go right ahead, it's a great read if you're just looking for something simple and easy to digest.

There's one thing about the plot that might hamper someone's enjoyment of the novel. It might cause people to drop the novel, so I feel like I should mention it (and why it isn't as bad as it seems). It's a certain retcon that happens after the third arc:

Spoiler

After the third arc, it is revealed that the ML in each world is also played by an actor, similar to the main character.

[collapse]

The fourth and fifth arcs suffer quite a bit because of this. The retcon was also obviously not planned by the author when they wrote the previous three arcs, and because of this several plot holes are opened in those as well. I think the author realized this, or maybe it wasn't received well when the book was initially published, as they start rolling back the changes implemented by the retcon during the fifth arc, and by the 6th the matter is basically not mentioned again, with the writing style going back to the way the initial arcs were.

So if you're like me, who greatly enjoyed the first three arcs and hated the "twist", know that you only have to bear with it for a while before it gets better again.

Finally, I guess I should mention the translation. It's fine, but there's a lot of grammatical errors. Certainly better than MTL, but not by a huge amount, so if you've got low tolerance for bad grammar, you might want to avoid this one.

Final score 3 stars, 1 star taken off because of the simple plot and world building, 1 star taken off because of the translation. <<less

So I appreciate that even if it is a quick transmigration story, the first arc (and what seems like the second which I’m partway through) are long enough to be self contained.

Writing is alright, the MC sometimes escalated in how she deals with the other cannon fodder that come up unnecessarily, but it seems to be sort of her personality.

Don’t expect much character development of the non main cast though, which is a shame cause there is some really interesting set up that could have been explored more and fleshed... more>> them out. Basically no secondary romance plot line, and after the first world they even reuse the names of the MC, FL, ML characters so you don’t even have to remember anyone else’s names (but this seems to be a trope in the Quick transmigration genre).

so in summary, a decent read for the first 60+ chapters at least, but likely to drag.

I’d almost say stop after the first world? It’s a great self contained story right there. <<less

I finished this novel and MTL-ed 2/3 of it, and boiii I did not mind it at all!
This is full of fluffy goodness and I just like the way the MC handles the “supposed” ML in every arc. There are arcs that I think was very lacking than others

Spoiler

*cough cough* the culvitation one *cough cough* there were times where I just get irked because the FL was kinda annoying but nevertheless

[collapse]

But it’s a good book overall.

I have read this one chapter at a time following the releases of the translation, since nearly the beginning. No reading ahead in MTLs for me, just patiently as the chapters come. I have an RSS feed that alerts me every time there's an update, and I read this story right away, it's the enduring top of my list. That was probably sometime in 2020. It's 2023. It's been a TRIP. For nearly three (?) years I've been cheering for Luan Qing Xiao and Nie Zhen'er, they're a deep seated,... more>> long term OTP now. I LOVE this story!

Thank you author who's name I don't know how to write because it's in Chinese, and thank you Leafy for translating, and congratulations for finishing! This story has become a permanent feature in a whole period of my life.

As for people looking to see if it's worth reading... yes. Obviously I would think so, given what I've already said. In a few more words, I'm a serial reading addict, I read *everything*, on and off novel updates. I haunt the local library, scribble hub, royal road, fanfictionnet, A03... everything dude. TBH I read way too much. So my memory of most stories is nearly non-existent, I probably don't even remember or recognize the titles, or even the protagonist's name. (I'd be screwed if I got transmigrated into a random novel... XD). So, out of so many, many books, this is one of very few that's left a deep impression on me. I not only remember it, I deeply care about this one. It's got my sincere recommendation, whatever that's worth.

To talk about the story itself. I think the first world is by far the best one, it's wonderfully compelling, and could have just been the end of the story and I would have been satisfied. It'd be a completely worthwhile standalone story. Everything after that is icing on the top, pure fun and sugar bringing back the ship you love from that first world for an encore. It gets wild and they go everywhere! I also really enjoyed seeing how pitiful the male leads get later on as Nie Zhen'er turns all amnesiac in every world, but deep down actually remembers Qing Xiao. Watching the male leads suffer is a charm all it's own, they're all awful, their pain brings me joy.

My one and only regret is that I desperately want a way to download the whole journey as an ebook or something, so I can come back to it forever. I'm so afraid of Leafy's blog going down and the whole story disappearing, like what inevitably seems to happen to almost every story on this site eventually. <<less

Read up to the end of Arc 2.

I felt it was decent so far, however the characters was uninteresting. They could have used abit more personality.
The stories wasn't great either.

Although I gave up on the novel, i'd still recommend people to give it a try on account of its high rating.

It simply wasn't for me.
