ML gets transmigrated into a Fantasy world after downloading a game app to his phone. After transmigrating into a defeated Demon Lord, he is forced to sign an unequal treaty with the humans who had defeated him. Using his phone that he transmigrated with, he can still read internet wiki's, videos, music and etc. So what does the newly transmigrated Demon Lord do? He disbands his army and then invades the human world in the middle ages with pop culture. From exquisite gourmet foods, movies, novels, magazines, music, TV, anime,... more>> variety shows, Weibo (Chinese version of Facebook) and etc. He spreads modern day pop culture across the nations.

It started out well. But half way through, it go really repetitive. A majority of the story is about the ML plagiarizing all sorts of pop culture like the Avenger movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney theme amus**ent parks, anime, and Game of Thrones. Many chapters are about the plagiarism of those media and how they are modified and summarized in many chapters.

The ML's sarcastic with was amusing, and his plans are also intriguing. However, the world building is very inferior, and many details are very lacking. The ML introduces a lot of ways for humans to spend their money on his pop media, gourmet foods, and merch. But doesn't detail much about how humans in the middle age are paying for all this. It's easy to say that only the rich can pay for his Mall items, but even the rich can't have endless amount of cash.

The concept is funny, but is really unrealistic. Also from beginning to end, the time period covered is about 3 years. The ML runs around plagiarizing all sorts of things, then suddenly retires. With the current demon lord body, the MC is practically immortal, so retiring after 3 years is a bit of a rush. Not to mention, very little details is written about the ML's background, or even this middle age fantasy world.

It's mostly about spreading pop culture and having an audience behave similar to current day fan culture with a Weibo existence. There's a lot of lives (innocent and otherwise) that the ML could have saved, but the ML is very indifferent to everyone, including the demons. He's mostly there just to spread pop culture and pull the demons out of debt. War, poverty, inequality, medical treatments, and etc may or may not be after affects or indirect causality.

I liked the first half, but really, I actually kind of started to despise the ML towards the second half. He's not a hero, and I didn't expect him to be. But the bulk of the story focus is really on using plagiarism to spread pop culture and making everyone become addicted and unable to part with "Demon Culture". The second half of the story usually details what gourmet foods are being eaten and the ML chasing his partner around to XX.

The main villain dies with one act of betrayal at the end. I can't help thinking with all the powers of the Demons, why couldn't they just assassinate him from the beginning? <<less

The romance was quite lacking but it was made up with a very interesting plot and well-fleshed-out characters. To the point that it can be said that the main CP development was sacrificed to give more screen time to side characters.

Though it can be quite boring and monotonous for some people as this story heavily focuses on cultural invasion and the reactions of the other world people, humans to be more exact, to the various cultural works that the MC brought to their world. The MC was quite strong and... more>> badass from the very start but there are hardly any fight scenes and more like of the MC flexing his coolness and OPness. In fact, the fight scenes are too few and the war scenes not too much delved in than necessary that it can almost be negligible and is reflected in the lack of 'action' in the tags.

For those who are impatient and hot-blooded for cool fight scenes or ANY OTHER people than those who just want to read about the cultural invasion to another world and the reaction of the other world's humans, this story is not for you. <<less

I'm loving this story with my whole being !! The MC is SO COOL !!! Same!! In particular, I loved a chapter so much that I read, reread and even added it to my favorites because it was so cool the way the MC acted! But it is all just beginning, I hope the story continues as good as it is now and does not disappoint, so it does not have 5 stars, when I finish reading everything I will come back and vote with more certainty.
