This novel gives the impression of trying to combine History's Number 1 Founder and Library of Heaven's path, plus comedy. Spoiler alert: It fails badly.

I say, this novel is actually good? At least for me. I really like a 'mindless level up' novel and this one just fits the bill. I will keep it short, this gave cultivation novels a unique twist. It's more like a disciple-rearing, army-making story. One filled with a protagonist that put on airs of being stronger than they seemed.

Ok how do I start? First this story is awful at power balance.

The main point of the story is our MC trying to survive. At the system eyes his an npc who is going to be used to fulfill a part of the story and die in the and of an main villain (this is my own interpretation)

Of course, he doesn't want to die, and the system has ways to help him.

For starters to change his status he needs fame. That is going to increase his NPC value and... more>> became higher, of course, to obtain fame he needs a foundation and be strong too.

Second, he has merits, the system allows him to increase his comprehension of a manual using merits points, and to obtain merit points he needs to accept disciples. After that each time his disciple reaches a new stage he gets some merits.

Then we have Spiritual Knowledge which allows him to use to reach higher stages in his cultivation.

Finally, he has DAO SEED - after completing a manual and master it he can obtain a dao seed.

Now there's the catch usually you can only have 1 dao seed, because dao seed is obtained after completing a manual of cultivation, but our MC can have 30000.

If you read any cultivation novels I will give you an example to you.

In every cultivation novel right at the beginning, the author refers the datian. Basically, you can have only 1 dantian and the MC cultivates a super-powerful cultivation manual to increase his stages.

Here is a little bit different our MC constitution allows him for every manual he wants to cultivate to create a new dantian, and these are not separated they are all linked together.

And here I get my problem you see on this novel the author makes restrictions after restrictions, I give you a few examples

disciples, max 3000

cultivation, max final 2nd stage until the mission to unlock 3rd stage is available.

manual, he can only understand the manuals to a certain extent he cannot cultivate higher than 2nd stage.

btw there only 4 major stages.

because of these restrictions, the MC needed to find a way to get stronger and he got it by using arrays you see usually arrays are used by a group of people which he can easy fulfill by his ability to have multiple dantians.

Now, how the fu*** does someone who was 300 dantians by just a little bit stronger than his first disciple who just has 1 dantian and the cultivation technique she has he cultivated as well.

i don't get it. Btw this is supposed to be a comedy novel which is pretty none existent. I usually read every novel to the end but this sh* here is something else give it a try by yourself it's pretty good 5star. :) Sorry and bad English, grammar etc etc, bye <<less

A truly great novel but a bit confusing at start and a totally mixed up cultivation system which make little to no sense when come to MC or his disciples, just take it with punch of salt keep reading and will come to enjoy the story.

If I have to some more then that would be if this novel has some good editing and experience writing style it could measure up to "A WILL ETERNAL" level.

This novel has its flaw, but it also delivers what it promises very well. It plays with the genres common schemes, it has cool characters and joyful moments and misunderstandings. What I dont like are the fast pace, the mediocre translation quality and the long battles. Nevertheless, because this novel fits my taste I will rate it 5*.
