One of my all time favorites

Some may find it boring since Odin is so OP but what do you expect from someone who lived for a thousand years and spent most of it through fighting?

If he lost a game all those years would be for nothing and it'll just be ridiculous. It's exciting enough because of the limitations in the game.

Anyway, if you're not picky of what you read, this is a very exciting and fun novel to read

I cant continue, really, the first few chapter really entertaining (?) enough for me to read but later it gets dull and boring. What is the point of the game and all those describing things when in the end the MC TOO OP that he is just basically playing, toying around end up winning easily, no tension nothing. It is a game he is participating, should be different than the life he once had, at least he should be adjusting to adapt to it, then win. But no he is... more>> just too OP that yeah "we know the ending, what is the point of reading".

The translation is tip top, cant deny. I tried so hard to read more, but I just fall asleep in the middle so many times.

I like OP MC really, but this one is just too 2D for me. The MC and ML are cute, simply feeding dogfood, but I dont know, nothing really.

It didnt give me the reader the feels of reading character falling in love. None. Or the feelings of tournament.

The comment of the fans, haha. Aint it s*upid. The only character that I think I can accept only victor. At least he has the vibes that is alive. But Tyron, huhu.

It is okay from time to time, but not good to keep my whole time occupied.

Love this story, it's light and have little conflict. It might be a fit for those who enjoy gaming or action kind of story. I am mainly here for the dog foods 😁.

I didn't know if it was only my imagination or not, but for me the "fighting" or "battle" are a bit boring. The ML have a very obvious golden finger and the results are basically set.

Anyway, I really like how sweet the interaction between ML and MC and how the story is not so complex.

Too handsome. Too funny. Too much action!

After a good novel from "Surprise! The talent show is actually', I'm so glad to find something similar like that!

My first novel that I totally don't mind reading from the gong's perspective because seriously, he is just. Too. Awesome! The shou isn't a useless one either! Both powerful and omg so cute together. The evil overlord vs the smart president. — Edit after completing —

Applause people. Applause. Definitely a solid 5 stars.

@ Future me, don’t bother with this.

The story felt like it was written line by line, there was no thought put into what should happen next. The characters have interesting features and backgrounds but they are plain and completely one-dimensional. Feels like it was written by a high schooler that wanted to make something based off their own specific preferences. The interactions between characters feel more bland than a kids puppet show, it’s incredibly fake and made to impress people that have never been in a conversation in their life.

Assassin... more>> that is super OP and loses all qualities of an assassin? Check.

E-sports? Um, where? Literally nowhere, but there is fantasy VR type games?

The MC is trying to save up 60 million because his real world body is literally dying but I have yet to see the MC motivated to actually make money, he will just casually agree to things for money but there’s no sense of urgency and it’s basically glossed over for many chapters. Like, you would think that would be a pretty major goal of his and his approach to gaming would be a little bit more... Goal-motivated?

The MC becomes interested with the love interest because... He’s cute? Was it the stalking part that made him cute? His looks? His unrealistic “omg I just met my male god who I have never met before and know absolutely nothing about, not even that fact that his original body’s name and the name he gave don’t match up” and over the top reactions? Who the heck knows because it’s definitely not me!

The MC is technically hundreds of years old and the only way this is incorporated into his personality is by stating how bored he is with killing and his OP assassin techniques.

(人*´∀｀) ｡*ﾟ+ Another fantastic read! The Great Demon King x Political Little Prince are perfectly in sync with their op-ness in every situation. Yes it does sound cliched but it was done well; even the clap-backs didn't have the usual intense bloodshed and what's not but the canon fodders were still dealt with properly or should I say it was done with class lol.

A surprisingly interesting and exciting story despite MC being OP from the start. But that's kind of the point. There's no revenge plot, no 'face-slapping' not hatred or cruelty or conspiracies in this story. (Not much anyway) So, yeah if you go in expecting some sort of assassin story, then you might not have fun. Because the action is only part of the story.

Our MC has been an assassin from more than a hundred years. We do eventually see his story (when he opens up to ML) but his skills... more>> exist for a reason. And he's tired. And hurting. And numb. So, when he wakes up in this new world it actually becomes a journey of healing for him. Because you see, the 'violence' in this world is a game. And so our MC gets to use his skills for FUN. Which is amazing. Our ML is a sweetheart who fell in love at first sight. And this is not ignored. MC asks him directly what he wants and why he wants it. So, even though from the summary it feels like a shallow story, it's really not.

Both MC and ML slowly tend to their relationship. And it's not easy because our MC is an assassin. And his heart has been carefully hidden so our MC could survive. Our ML is kinda naive so this serious relationship is also very important to him. And they have pillow fights. Because you know they're both a little silly sometimes and love each other very much. ML calls the MC 'his old antique' which is super cute in the story because the MC is really really old and this new world is like interstellar advanced. So we get a lot of good comedy ???? Moments.

The rest of the story? IS. ALL. ACTION. Because I think the author did a fantastic job with the tournament and all the games. Even though you know the MC is OP, you still see him pushed to the limit because this virtual world and virtual game is something he has to learn about. There's always something new and exciting in every match. And the fans are hilarious and MC cannot handle such positive affirmation after a long life in darkness. He gets embarrassed and a little weirded out (these people are very uhh shameless about their thoughts which can even make a 100 year old assassin blush lol) but the MC is HAPPY which is the best thing that could happen to him. <<less

Reverse transmigration into a interstellar universe. MC is super OP and uses his real-life assassin skills in e-sports, and considering his 600+ years of experience, obviously steam-rolls the opponents... ML is so enamored with MC's beautiful (handsome?) face that he gets spell-bound and barely able to speak in his presence, but otherwise, he too, is super OP in his field... And MC is so smooth/suave that he makes the ML even more flustered... Basically a general feel-good story with no ups and downs...

Major pet-peeve is that MC is super-smooth and... more>> able to acclimatize in this new universe way too easily... Considering his previous life as an assassin and then 600 years more as an agent of 'God of Slaughter', one would assume, he would have some sort of PTSD... but the MC shows no such sign, he's able to settle in this new life very smoothly, the transition from an ancient era to a super-technical era is way too easy, and MC faces no setbacks... <<less

Such a tooth rotting fluffy romance interstellar battle game story.

MC is OP assassin flirt from ancient times with a mission. And he is a gong! With a possessive streak a mile wide. Locked on the shou from the very start. The shou is actually OP too but he's such a silly fanboy in front of the MC it's easy to forget he's a badass too, lol.

The story sets MC as the number 1 assassin in his original world and when he died, he made a deal with the God of... more>> Slaughter to obtain a new body for his wandering soul. So he set out to perform tasks given by the God. This time, MC was transmigrated into an interstellar world where he try to get to the top of the battle game in the VR world of the interstellar society.

What I like is that he's such an iceberg but in front of the shou he is such a major flirt. I just died with no regrets every time. Also, the battle scenes are amazing! Detailed and engaging. MC is so OP but his battle is still thrilling.

Most of the novel tell stories about his battle in game so far, so romance was like a side plot. Though, they are still so very sweet, I just. Can't.

I recommend reading this. <<less

So exciting. Such a great novel. Only at 32 chapters, and I caught up way to fast. The romance is developing. The MC is OP, BUT, considering his background its reasonable. In addition there's no annoying power drop/fighting new overpowered people tropes.

This is a bit too OP, I admit but the writing style is actually good, has good descriptions and characters, just that it the games does get boring over time but it's skippable. The only thing that did made me read till the end was the relationship between the two protags.

This is a seme protagonist, and Tyron Odin is just one of the smoothest talker I've seen with cute moe. And he's super good with metaphors and has deep moments too. What I probably like from all this was the... more>> proposal scene cause good f*cking grace, that was the best proposal speech I've heard!!

Now the ML, the shou. He's probably what you call a Holy Father character but is actually a little devil in disguise. He's pretty cute, bordering between a fanatical fan and an upright learning god of the gods. It does get a bit misleading with all his fanatic towards MC but he's actually a super strong and super wise character. He knows good from bad and although he does looks like a goody shoe he has incredible morals.

A thought about their relationship, I'll just say that it's a wild ride to hop on. Not that it has too many emotional scenes but because it speeds up randomly that one second, ML's already going to confess and another second MC thought about proposing. There was no way to know that by the end of the chapter something big is going to happen to their relationship!! It is kind of exciting to be honest, and please don't misunderstand, they're not too fast nor too slow with the progress of their relationship, the two are just really proactive and impulsive hahaha.

All in all, it's a good read if you don't bother too much with the competition. Might reread but only the out-of-game parts. <<less

The fights are boring since MC just wins with the same boring assassin techniques every time with 0 tactics. The MC doesn't bother learning any modern science and just leaves it up to the ML, which is probably meant to be cute and romantic but just seems unrealistic to me.

Romance: 0/10 did not enjoy, the flirting was annoying, the actual romance seems to be centered around having s*x, and there were continuous events where the ML showed how "cool and capable" he was due to his intelligence and upbringing -... more>> he's not a commoner, he's from a noble family! It's a good read. MC's relationship is cute, a lot of fluff and the story is just cute.

The downside of this story is how overpowered the Main Gong is. I jumped in assuming he was just an Incubus hybrid who was once a very skilled assassin but then as he plays in different games and ends up in different stages that should've been very difficult but suddenly isn't, because he's experienced a lot in his past life that makes everything that much easier. Giving him an advantage in everything... scratch... more>> that, he just wins non stop with zero effort. I didn't mind it at first but after the next 8 wins that end up starting with "usually this would be difficult but because [gongs name] had once dealt with [angels/demons/spiders secluded in darkness/taking on a massive fire demon] he did not [panic/flinch/bat an eyelash/change his expression]..." whatever. Everything became predictable and I found myself skipping any action scenes because I knew the outcome would remain the same, he would win. From there it started to get boring.

I'm dropping this because I want to finish my list and I have a lot to go through. But even though I did mark this CN with 3 stars, There is a big chance that I might just come back to pick it up again... once I run out of books to read. However, for those of you who love non-problematic OP MC's, who love fluff, fluff and more fluff then check this out. You will love it. <<less

This is my most favorite e-sports novel. I love the MC, ML, supporting characters, and the audiences.

I would love to read more of this since MC came from a cultivation world tho it is also fine as it is now.

Highly recommended for those who wants more action than romance like me lol

Its good, got to finish it in 2 days. Easy read but I feel it isn't for people who like to read gaming novels.

the MC is unbeatable so my interest in his games fluctuate. sometimes its difficult to finish some chapters cause I got bored halfway. my interest wasnt constant, but I love the sweetness of the MC and ML.

This world is perfect for MC cause I feel he went through a lot of hardships.

Wished we had more engaging side characters cause this little world only focuses on the MC... more>> and ML interactions and though its sweet and funny its.... kind of lacking.

Power couple all the way! Its a plus for me.

“Crack couple” is the term I’d use to describe the main CP in this novel. Assassin’s Creed meets intergalactic virtual reality gaming. Add in battle tournaments & a boatload of shamelessness & you have yourself this story. If you like slashing, hacking, & crazy slaughter for sport then this is your cuppa. Easy read to follow; don’t mull over the details too much. The dog food is immaculate; I really enjoyed the teasing nature between the two. The smut was a pleasant surprise as well.

Conflicted... the story felt a bit strange to me.

It IS a nice, fluffy, story..... but it logically can't. When you have a severely traumatized MC, there must be some sort of resolution, usually in the form of angst and a rather dark plot. YET, all we receive is this supreme god at flirting who also manages to perfectly integrate into a normal person's lifestyle???

MC is supposedly this supreme master assassin who is several hundred thousand years old, and had a traumatizing childhood. Someone who grows up to be a professional assassin cannot possibly be normal. When he later dies, he forms some sort of pact with the God of Slaughter and travels through worlds to play his twisted game. This is the beginning of the story.

I expected a follow up. A plot continuation. Something.

But there was nothing. This is never mentioned again and it seems like this was just tossed out the window. This "god" just disappears, and I was expecting some sort of badass story, some more continuation, but I just get stuffed with fluff. I'm not AGAINST the fluff, but just doesn't make sense.

Meh. Moving on, the romance between the MC and ML was also oddly strange. For one, I can understand that perhaps this love budded from the ML yearning for the light (since he lives in the dark as an assassin), but when the MC was introduced, he was just a shy fanboy. Where does this love sprout from then??? I'll say this again: anyone with MC's backstory CANNOT POSSIBLY LIVE A FLUFFY LIFE. As such, the romance felt extremely fake. The characterization of ML being super smart is strange as well because it feels like the author shoved that in just to match the ML with the MC. There is such a disconnect between his comfortable persona and his "domineering CEO" persona and the relationship between the two was not laced together properly. After all, you can't have the romantic interest be NOT OP right?

Conflicted.... nevertheless, the MC beating ppl in game is quite interesting, so you can read this for fun. <<less

I was so sad that this novel has ended. This is how good the novel is. I found it when there are around 100 chapters and finished all those only in hours. I was so into the story, liking the plot, characters and the pace as well. As I mentioned before, I really like the plot, something that I haven't seen before but with familiar things all over it. I really like how the perspective is from the gong and not the shou. I really like how eventhough he transmigrated... more>> he did not need much help and is capable of taking care of himself really well. Love his suaveness and how smooth he is to the MC. There are parts where I become read in the story actually.

There was this one scene where the gong did push up right on top of the shou and it nearly make my nose bleed.

I love how both the MC and the ML are not weak and need someone to save them. They depend on each other and are so cute together. The OPness of the MC is something that came straight out of an anime but it us still fun to read him slashing through the competition with ease. The overall pacing of the story is really good with nothing feel rushed and even the extras are so much fun to read too.

Overall extremely recommended read to everyone and have a good time reading it <3 <<less

This novel is so smooth and cute. I love how they flirt with each other because it also makes me feel giddy and blush. However, game theme as it is, the whole event is so full of flatters to the MC that the game (which is 3/4 of the novel) becomes boring and I just simply skipped those because it is repetitive in action.

Overall, if you just finished a very heavy novel and needs light feeling ones. You choose this.
