Its pretty good.

This series is neat. The MC is pretty entertaining to watch, and if you like upbeat but kind of weird female protagonists with a hint of narcissism and apathy, then its even better.

The writing/translations are pretty good.
And she doesn't end up in a "well to do" family either, just a poor commoner family in a poor village.

And she actually uses science (or well, mostly advanced technology) to make the world a better place, since its not a "magic series" or a "MC becomes godly" series.

Which, I have to tell you, its a pretty good change of pace. Almost like a less-blacksmith centered seiun no kakeru, except with more technology, some magic, and a female MC.

So yeah, its weird right? A reincarnation story where the MC can't use magic, but uses tech instead, in a world of magic? Insane, right? But that's what makes it great. And her non-polite and proper generic japanese girl style personality. Like a mini-kumoko, so to speak, except with more conceit.

I'll probably update the review as the series goes on.

The story is good but sadly I have to drop it due to how much of a push-over the MC is. She knows that what some of the characters do is not right and it can harm her and the ones around her but she just talk about it with them and let them be.

ex: Her cult leader keeps spreading about the faith about her which 80% BS. And she just shout at him to stop it from spreading, nothing more and that make him think the god is merciful then keep spreading the BS.

My breaking point is where her interaction with her brother (Shuu). Hes a too-free-spirit guy. He does whatever he wants, some of the things he does could really harm the MC and what the MC do? Shout at him and thats it

The MC is a talented girl who's never been loved by her family, and is consequently emotionally detached. However, she tries her hardest to earn the affection of those around her, but fails to notice it when she does receive it.

The story is one of character and relationship growth, where the MC learns to value herself, and develop trust and affection for those around her. It's not a bad story... but the MC is just so unbelievably young to be an inventor, servant, fiance etc, that it makes the... more>> story a little silly.

The world itself is also very primitive, with technology even more inferior than the stone age, allowing the MC to easily introduce simple inventions and slowly change society. While there's nothing wrong with world building, the incompetence of all the other characters is a little unconvincing, since most of them would rather sit and starve than use their heads.

Overall the concept isn't too bad, but the people could be a little more realistic - even taking into account the magic and rules of the world. <<less

Interesting story, reincarnation but with a darker background. The MC is cute, her story make you want to help her and cherish her but The author is a S. Really. Makes me want to cry when I see how hard she work and how she get nothing from the plot at the end of each arc.

So if you like overpowered MC, are in need of sugar, want a MC with luck stat over 9000, romance and fluff, I don't think you should read this. But if you like a story... more>> a bit darker than your average japan novel and a bit of world building in an original setting you could give it a try.

Just like the others have said, the premise is good, but once we leave that the story went down to generic shoujo story with bad worldbuilding and actually make the premise like from another novel.

MC went from adult to actually little girl, smart to ret*rded, and the story become too rosy.

like what FatalStrings mentioned it's an interesting set up for the MC. Unlike other stories this one doesn't pander to the NEETs of the world who SOMEHOW gets a cheat power or born int royalty or already OP right from the start or meets god/s and gains their/his/her favor because they were oh so special. The story so far shows us a already smart and capable Protagonist from before reincarnating into a simple villager. A story wherein the protagonist was actually better off in her previous world than she was after reincarnating. We see her so far striving to better her circumstances, and even get a much more believable explanation for the MC being very skilled in her current life.

Unlike other Reincarnation or transported to another world Genre this one shows an actually disparity in technological capabilities in the first few chapters, ALSO unlike A LOT of the stories of the same genre out there, the MC actually has humility in that she herself stated (so far) is not a Magician with 100% accuracy as she's not special because she reincarnated and was chosen by god like some of that crap. However she does believe she is very capable and it is justified in that she was quite high spec in her previous life.
