It's similar to what happened with the Abandoned Empress as the "Male Lead" became kind to Tia in their second life. I mean, he treated her so badly in their previous life but now he's kind to her cause he love her? That kind of thing kind of turned me off from the novel, tho I still to read it and I don't hate the emperor, I'm just uncomfortable with how they will end up as.

Going back to this story, the overall plot isn't bad at all. It's not that bad and I'm enjoying it so far but it's too early to say if I love it. For now I'll give it a 2/5 since I'm still starting out with this novel. <<less

I enjoyed reading this until, at some point, the romance took on full throttle, suddenly without proper build-up, and then after that, the plot always randomly got interrupted as they behaved like a hörny-aśś teenager here and there.

[some event happening] -> [they met somehow] -> [flirting and kissing and whatever for half chapter] -> [continue proceeding with plot] -> [some monologue] -> [they met again somehow] -> [flirting and kissing again for half chapter] -> [Repeat].

You see, not only the romance is just hörny and there's nothing fluffy, romantic, heartwarming... more>> nor interesting about it, but author also inserted those crăp every chances he got, like wtf bruh, Personally, I always think that romantic scenes that are thrown in at random places, like ads, are a failure. <<less

Really good novel about court politics with an emotionally smart MC and no obvious plot holes at first glance. Romance is just a subplot that comes into play in the later half of the story, and not much abrupt/out-of-place.

I deducted one star for Rezef's yandere-ness. I personally am a sucker for fluff and I can tolerate mild yandere male leads but Rezef was a bit too strong for my taste ... more>>

Many people consider her as Mary Sue but she has shown sufficient hardwork/background for it in my opinion. She is living her 3rd lifetime which is often apparent in the beginning where she considers herself as older than everyone else.

They'll do hold hands and kiss starting at chapter 77+. Slice of life and politics is the centre of this novel. So if you want full romance and fluff, this may not be for you. But still there is fluff where ML is a gentlemen and always helps MC everytime she face crisis.

Frankly, it's quite the read.

If I had to describe this story in the fewest words possible, I'd say 'Korean Game of Thrones'.

Now, it's not the same, or even that close as GoT, but it is a political drama where pretty much everyone's a horrible person, including the MC. Though she isn't so terrible of a person, but you can see where how she hasn't lost her villainess tendencies though she's gotten rid of her naivete.

Even the characters that seem decent on the surface, a lot of the time aren't, unless... more>> if they're just a minor character with who'll end up getting used by the political machinations of the major characters.

I really look forward to seeing how the MC's relationship with the ML is going to get developed as more and more of his deeper personalities show, but unfortunately it seems like the story got licensed, so there won't be any new chapters for a few years.

I just hope that the licensor don't drop the story halfway or something and we'll be able to read the conclusion someday.

It's a great read though, despite stopping midway.

One of the few really good dramas that are really thought out and well planned. <<less

The novel was good until the MC decided to throw away her original plan. And the romance is something you need to find with magnifying glasses. Because what they both doing were anything but romance. Not gonna lie but I have read quite dull or dry hot scenes but what the f*ckity f*ck was that. Also a notable fact, how come every male character has a psycho tendency as soon as they get in touch with cayena. I was really looking forward to the story but the author ended up... more>> disappointing me with throwing away the original plot (which is why I came here in the first place, for example, being strong, regaining her status, gaining power, putting those who tried to do something in their places, manipulativeness, leadership, and what not!) for something so cliche. <<less

I started with the manhwa and I loved the art, story and execution.
Then I wonder what will happen next so I jumped into the novel and read from 1.

I loved the novel too it elaborated scene that were lost during adaptation. The MC is isekaied twice. 1st live as ignorant princess Cayena where she is manipulated, 2nd in korea where she read her first life as a novel but in this life too she was manipulated and back to 1st life where she has learnt her lesson.

Now the story begins: our MC is determined to change her future and doesnt want to be doll and she is not just one of those MC who just talks, she does too.

Our MC is smart, compassionate, and wants to save her half brother Razef with his tyrant destiny too as both of them suffers from childhood and each sees other as their family. This is what I like about our MC, she doesn't go full on revenge mode just beacuse she is reincarnated.

As story advances you realize maybe it is just another I reincarnated as villainess but all the [yandere]male lead and others are into me cliche type but you wont mind it as this has a determined and hard working MC who is struggling to survive and a clear ml. The MC doesnt depend solely on the ML and is very independent, has trustable subordinate that she picked. The plot and flow of this novel is what keeps you going further into the chapters. MC realizes her feelings fast, misunderstanding gets clear fast, all political scenerio are moving really well, romance is blomming, schemes are happening. Overall a very fun story to read.

I feel sorry for whatever reason to our half brother.
I have been reading too much historical novel these days and Razef is just a sad character. He is illegitimate prince and the emperor wants him to suffer to fulfill his revenge. All courtiers look down upon his birth. Our MC is atleast not look down as she is daughter between emperor and empress. There is noone to teach him how to be a just ruler. He is on his own. He uses every person for his benefit as most princes does. He has anger issue, is a possessive person. Simply a person with many problem.
He doesn't know how to love as he hasnt been loved. The MC says how she has changed, he will changed too but how?You changed because you were reincarnated he isnt. He is too used to seeing MC as his fav toy who noone can have and has this obsession. But MC doesn't realize this. MC just wants him to escape his tyrant ways without giving him any tips and just saying to trust her. He does trust her [is more heartbreaking] and is making sure she doesnt disappear from his life. He is trying to remove all obstacles that will come between her sister and him. No one is there to correct his way of love. You make me sympathize with him with the hope he will also see love and light in his distrustful surrounding as he is just a child but will be heartbroken because MC is playing with his trust as he did in his 1st life with the MC. At 100 I realize that the MC wont help her half brother anymore and he wont get his redemption. He will just remain as a villian. So I havent read after that. Need some time to absorb this piece
The culprit is the emperor. He wanted the child to suffer for their mother's fault. He says it is his reveng

One of the best novel I've read so far. I love the MC so much, she doesn't rely on the ML and works independently. She's so cunning and clever. Also one of the best female leads, unlike those weak fl's. The chemistry of the MC and the ML are not forced it really gives me butterflies. The male leads are messed up tho (and I freaking love it). Don't get fooled by those reviews who read at least 10-20 chaps. If you want to read it, then go read... more>> it 'cause you won't regret reading it. The translation are also good, it's easy to understand.

One of the best villainess novels I’ve read in a long time. MC depends on her own smarts to manoeuvre situations + rebirth knowledge. But she does get caught off guard :) so it’s not perfect knowledge. Situation is really complex and super interesting. Love the well developed characters.

mostly I like how this isn’t one of those brainless MC gets everything by being nice and doesn’t even notice it novels. This novel is darker in tone but also has a lot of satisfying highlight points

Although her brother was the end of her in her last life.

They were both a product of their upbringing and not particularly moral people.

So in this life I don't particularly hate him or expect him to have a redemption arc if their circumstances and relationship changes.

I really love this webnovel! I first read the webtoon, and found this novel on Radish. The translation is fine, just the character names are sometimes change. Like first the ML name is Raffaello, then on one chapter changed into Raphael, then changed back into Raffaello etc. Well, it's a minor flaw. The chapter break there is also not the same with the kakaopage's chapter break. The chapters are somewhat longer on Radish.

For example, ch 69 on Radish would equal to ch 85 on the unofficial translation. The end of... more>> ch 72 on Radish is when Rezef brought food for Cayena and she coughed blood. It's ch 89 on unofficial translation. They publish new chapter thrice a week, and I couldn't wait when they will reach ch 101.

Tried to read the chapter on kakaopage korea but my head hurts because the machine translation is sooooo bad! So I have no option but to wait for the official one.

Please read on the official translation if you can, it's free, you just need to wait for an hour for a chapter. You could open the chapter each hour and read it later. The last 5 chapters are not free but you get 6 coins for free each day, that's equal to 2 chapters. Sometimes there's event to get more coins <<less

God damn! This is interesting. It foreshadows a lot of bad-endings. I hope it'll have a good ending tho. Really different take on Shoujo novels, which makes this one interesting. The ML (i hope Raphael) slowly falls for FL and according to some spoilers. They end up together.

The FL lead gives away half of her life-span for the ability to sue magic. So she tries to keep the ML away cause she won't live for long. I don't know when the ML will find out the reason. They kiss each other at chapter 77 and confirm their feelings. But FL says she won't be with and tries to keep some distance.

2nd addition to the top shelf this 2021 ahhh I love it. It is really refreshing that the MC does not need to be cruel and violent just to be "cool". She still have real emotions. She still values her family unlike most of revenge novel that can stand killing their family. Im just tired of those novel its just disgusting.

Religiously waiting for the next updates!

I like this novel a lot. The FL is smart, savvy, goal-oriented. Her beauty is overemphasized throughout the novel; I don’t mind that because she uses the fact that she’s really really beautiful to influence people to get what she wants.

I’m not too sure about her origin. That part is a bit confusing to me, but it doesn’t really matter how she got to be reincarnated there and where she was before. It doesn’t pay that much into the story at all.

Yandere and potential yandere... more>> evvvverrrywhere. Except maybe the ML. Might be too soon to tell, tbh.

Romance. Political intrigue. Mystery. Mary-sue. Beautiful people everywhere.

Well translated and well paced.

Like many novels in this genre, the main characters were shackled by society and expectations, and/or grew up devoid of affection and stability. So safe to say you’ve got some pretty tr*shy characters :)
I particularly enjoyed the broodings of the MC though. I love how she saw her weaknesses and strove to not only protect herself but see the good in the people around her and protect them as well (like Rezef!!

I like it. The story line is good.

I don't know why it reminds me of "suddenly I became a princess", maybe because Duke Raphael have the same features as Lucas? And so is Cayena to Athanasia.

Anyways, I am looking forward to her goal. Maybe this time she will finally find her happiness.

Finished the whole thing (up to the hunting event since I haven’t found an updated translations yet) and it was one of the most consistent and interesting story I’ve read. It didn’t start off as a full blown romance up until the half but the build up was worth the wait. The progress of the plot didn’t feel rushed unlike a lot of isekai romance I’ve read. It didn’t have to revolve around the Mc’s love life but the story has so much depth. Also, there’s no loose ends like... more>> everything made sense in the end. This is my kind of story since I’m really not into light fluff romance. I love story with complicated deep plots but not complicated in the sense that it becomes convoluted to catch up but it’s interesting and keeps you wanting for more. <<less

  • The story was good, it's not about just FL pov but we can see other think and how they feel
  • Yeah, this story also the best, if you boring from Romantic drama normally story, I do high recommended this
  • Author is so good, she can write characters not just black or white//ex. You can see the villain, the madman, but he also smart not just do something s*upid and die by ML hand. Another author also good at behind story like some character is so mad but Author can show us how he became this way, I love it!. And I like when something happened with FL take action, we can see the same time what's happened with others, they thought, mind, feel or actin

A very good read if you like political intrigues, yanderiness, noble characters and slow romance.

The story revolves around three people - Cayena, FL, the Duke, ML, and Cayena's (quite obssesive) brother the Prince. Cayena tries to escape the clutches of her brother, the brother is traumatized and wants the world to belong to him, the Duke gets pulled in by his attraction to FL and then falls into the political pit too.

None of them are totally good or totally bad. I wouldn't say the characters are Dostoevsky-level deep but I... more>> don't think you could call that level of psychology "shallow".

The novel is 70% court schemes and 30% romance but that's a fresh change after many isekais where the politics were simply a background.

What I also like is the fact that ML for once cares about FL's interests (you could say they become sort of friends at some point) and that FL has just enough Mary Sue-ness in her to make reading enjoyable: insanely beautiful and remarkably clever but still not crushing each and every obstacle in front of her. More like getting exhausted by them.

And she is very likable as a person too.

As I said, the romance is slow and a lot of story is focused on political action instead - so sometimes it gets hard to read it chapter by chapter. I've put it on hold several times. But in the end it's the only novel I follow right now - so of course I recommend it :D <<less

Ah I like this, our MC is sly and cunning hehe. I like the ML even when he is quite cliche, at least he is a decent person compared to other supporting male leads
