A wonderful, fluffy story! The MC is not a dense/ oblivious girl but someone who knows exactly what she wants and pursues him, no holds barred.

The ML may come off as indifferent but is actually pretty protective about her and does his best, on his own way.

The villain is the Prince who should just go and die. Grr, he sees only what he wishes to see. So, when MC rejects him, it turns into a 'she-is-trying-to-get-my-attention' instead of 'f*cker-go-away.'

Best part? ML is a genius but not powerful/ strong. Whereas the... more>> prince, like typical shoujo hero, is actually OP. AND STILL, the ML manages to not only win against him but also
Spoiler

Don't read if you are NOT SURE DESTROYS HIS POSITION AS CROWN PRINCE

A decent novel about the heroine who got the prince eyes and become a princess---no, this novel is not about that.

I love how this novel is'nt like the usual heroine/villainess troupe. This is pretty interesting for a short novel, with her fluffy but kinda straightforward ways to hook her man, the nerdy boya.

By the way I want to stomp on that prince face.

A charming tale of a dorky MC and ML. It was cute to watch them in action. Also one of the more frustrating antagonists to watch, which makes the ending more satisfying.

Hooo boy. Well, I definitely enjoy this story, I'll say that outright. It's fluffy, cute, and has nice elements of humor. The MC and the ML are a very cute couple, and it's nice to see how their relationship grows as they overcome their obstactles.

The obstacles being, of course, most of high society. Basically, all opposition comes in the form of self-deluding narcissists with extreme entitlement. Every villain is behaving according to the tropes of a typical shoujo setting- the 'romantic' prince, the 'aggrieved' fiance, the 'considerate' queen. What's different... more>> is how our MC is reacting to it all.

Wouldn't it be creepy if a guy with immense wealth and political power over you followed you around stealing the food you made for your crush? Wouldn't it be awful to be accused of chasing someone else's fiance when they're the one chasing you, and to have no one believe you even when you speak up? Isn't it the worst when someone in a position above you gives you a 'favor' you don't want or need, that actually causes you a lot of pain and trouble?

To those who say our MC doesn't defend herself enough; what are you supposed to do when your opponents have so much power over not just you, but everyone you love? That being said, she has to hold herself back from kicking a certain someone where the sun doesn't shine more than once. Five stars. <<less

So far, this is absolutely adorable.

I feel that it’s quite different to the other Noble-Romance novels as the main character is absolutely and undoubtedly in complete detestation for the First Prince. She hates him; with every fibre of her being, and it’s so entertaining to read.

It’s fluffy and cute~ I recommend reading since it’s quite a short one!

Read this if you want get riled up

Really, what annoyed me was the utter lack of communication

this built my annoyance to the end of the novel and truly tested my patience

yeah and the characters are great but we don't really see their power executed well, really frustrating

oh yes if you do read, remember to read the translator's notes and comment section, in my opinion they are half the experience and enjoyment haha the only thing that keeps you sane

At first, I thought this was a 5 star material. But the MC is just such a pushover that she cannot express her convictions and ideas to either the prince or Rosalind and keeps hemming and hawing like a typical japanese shoujo protagonist. Gone are the days when such an MC was acceptable. I will throw this into my "not sure" pile, but before doing that I'll leave this review here.

I think the thing you need to keep in mind going into this is that the whole story is here to point out how terrible the "she's not like other girls" trope would be in practice. And we do see this trope a lot.

As a rundown: ML is hot and talented and the most eligible bachelor, but ugh all these women chasing him. He despises them because don't you know that women are all shallow/vain/conniving/ect. Except her. He somehow knows she's different because of how she was just living her... more>> life and not paying any particular attention to him at the time. She has a life and goals that don't center around him and actually an objective viewer can see that she's not particularly unique, but he's decided she's different and has caught his interest.

In a lot of narratives (particularly RomComs) what then happens is that he starts pursuing her and it turns out she's not so different from other women as she falls for him like everyone else. Like, maybe at first she's resistant because of his clear character flaws, but its not like he ever drops those flaws. He just makes her an exception to his general disdain towards half the population. And in the end her life and goals are wrapped up in the ML, thereby loosing the one trait that made her different, and that's the happy ending. ((Another regular thing in RomComs is that the FL will also be being pursued by/in a relationship with another dude who while not evil usually is kinda boring and uninteresting and the ML saves her from falling into a lackluster relationship with this other dude))

This story is about a subtle as a hammer with subverting the above. I think its still enjoyable, but the antagonists really seem like they were plucked from a world where the above format was the inviolable way things work, whereas everyone else has some real world basic sense. The Prince falls for the FL as per the above, but she wasn't paying attention to him because she's genuinely not into him. She's genuinely more into the lowkey other dude, and would like to get on with her life without interference from the prince. And all the tension is because the villains are working from the script where she's secretly into the prince and her protestations otherwise are either a calculated move or part of her "Not like other girls"-ness. Its not till the end of the 1st arc when the prince looses and the script is overturned in a way that they can't ignore that they finally accept what the FL and ML have been saying. And its like if someone brought you incontestable poof that the flat-earthers were right. Full Blue-screen-of-deaths states for all of them.

Other reviewers are right that the antagonists are absolutely delusional, but on the other hand the author didn't push their characterizations much further than how these characters behave usually in the previously mentioned story formula. This is just how insane they would look if the FL in those other stories continued to not be interested in the ML.

I will also say that I'm not sure why the 2nd prince arc was there. It really does seem like its just Crown Prince 2, Electric Boogaloo and everyone of importance managed to learn nothing from the debacle with the 1st prince.

So, if the villains being ridiculous is going to be a turn off for you then skip this story. The FL and ML are cute, and I do think its interesting how the author just changes one detail to completely derail a trope that they're obviously not the biggest fan of. <<less

This novel is kinda refreshing.

It's your typical "Heroine falls in love with someone and after suffering through some hardships became happy ever after" story and, at the same time, it isn't.

A intriguing story with a MC (Sharina) out of the ordinary and a brilliant ML. Fluffy. Their relationship is too much sugar... keep your insulin close. lol.

But you also need to keep alert about the annoying bugs that insist on flying around...

Spoiler

I'm obviously talking about Leonarcisist... oh sorry, I mean Leonarcishit... eh? I did it again? Well I suppose that if I call him s*upid Prince everyone will understand. lol

Unfortunately, THAT isn't the only bug. We have Edward and Rosalind (the entire 'Rose Garden', maybe?) as well.

[collapse]

Well, the novel is pretty good for a change in pace, so I highly recommend it. <<less

Super cute !! The protagonist isn't that much of a pushover as azuron had said. She declines the arrogant prince's advances, only accepting when she is required to because of their statuses. She is a super optimistic girl who tries her hardest to get the ML's affection (which she acquires pretty easily actually xD).

While the prince annoys me to no end, the MC and ML pure diabetes :')

A nice fluffy read with a great MC and nice kuudere ML with a hint of tsun~tsun.

As long as you can bear with the dumprince’s antics, you’re in for a heck of fluff.

Ahh ol stalker prince is not one of those cute “I have watched you from far away” shojo stalker princes. No~ He’s a thick faced rude baka. (In a bad not redeemable way) Nobody likes a high handed food thief.

The main character girl is sweet and cheerful and I quite like her. She knows what she wants and goes for it. The fact that she clearly finds the prince annoying antics s*upid makes her even more enjoyable.

As for Riol. He’s great! I think I might like him as much as... more>> MC does. He’s cool, funny and witty.

I’m sure many people are concerned about who the ML is...

Spoiler

I skimmed the ending with my poor Japanese and it appears Riol is the end game!

I really enjoyed the first part of the story, but the second part felt redundant. The story has reached a conclusion, but then suddenly nearly same thing is happening again.

The theme stays pretty much the same - one-sided, misguided "common sense" that blinds the princes and makes people oblivious to "illogical" pure love between main characters.

Ahhh... It's finished

The story is a nice read I like the dynamics of the duo I loathed LOATHED the first and second princes and fell in love with the ML.

This is a good story to pick up if you want some moe (albeit it's a little too short for me tbh I wanted moar like I wanted it to have a hundred chapters or so) and at the same time want someone/s to direct all your hate and frustrations at (the princes) you should definitely pick it up and well... more>> since it's finished there's still the manga to look forward to.

I rate it 5 shiny sparkling stars! <<less

I had high hopes for this novel as the storyline seemed interesting and unique, but I was thoroughly disappointed.

The MC is so frustrating. All of the misunderstandings with the prince chasing after her and his admirers believing that she was in love with him WOULD GO AWAY if she just said she loved Riol!

Instead the two of them, Riol and the MC, just decide to conjure up these plans to avoid the prince, and it only fuels even more misunderstandings that leads the prince on.

This story would have been over... more>> if she just clearly said, “I love Riol. I don’t like the prince.” No one would say she would be rude for being in love with someone else. This was so frustrating to read. <<less

The two leads are awesome, but the villain was completely unbelievable. Anyone that s*upid would have been stopped much too early to annoy the FL. Still, I love the "pretty girl and the geek" trope.

This is honestly one of the sweetest and loveliest LN I've ever read.

I thought the premise would be similar to 'The Villainess Wants to Marry a Commoner' but they're actually really different! Sharina's love-at-first-sight syndrome is honestly off the hook lmao I laugh so hard whenever she waxes poetry about Riol's greatness. Who could blame her though? Riol is so effortlessly cool that even I fell in love with him. RIOL GLEN IS NO. 1 BEST BOY! ❤ What I love about this LN is how "out of the norm" the... more>> characters' personalities are. Sure, Shari's bubbly and airheaded personality might be typical, but she can also be downright savage when it comes to the prince (that s*upid motherf*cker-- I hope he dies a miserable death). Riol is far from being the stereotypical ML; he's described as dull and gloomy, but he can be so smooth with his words and the way he cares for Shari is so sweet and charming. Ugh, I LOVE SHARIOL SO MUCH. And don't even get me started on the side characters! Angelica has the funniest character development I've ever seen and also the most relatable.

Honestly, this story is a gem and the translator makes it even better! The T/N at the end always makes me laugh. If you want a refreshing break from the cliché and overly dramatic shoujo novels out there, go give this one a try! ♥ <<less

This story was a parody of a cliche otome game romance story, such as the famous tagline "How interesting", a pink haired MC who usually became a heroine turned into villainess and the object of the prince's infatuation, and the duke's daughter who was the prince's fiancee and also a villainess turned into heroine. Of course this novel didn't follow the plot of those cliche romance story. On the other hand, the pink haired girl wasn't some white lotus who aimed to be a queen and the prince was simply... more>> just delusional because he thought that all the girl surely would always fall in love with him.

This story was really interesting at first but I think it should stop after ML won over the prince. The second villain just made the story felt repetitive and dragging because he had the same character as the former prince. And after dragging it for so long, we didn't even get to see...

Spoiler

MC and ML's wedding and also the conclusion of the love story between Sevan and Sophia

... so I'm a bit disappointed with the ending even though it's a happy ending. <<less

The basic plot is a jab at one of the most famous shoujo tropes. The badboy prince gets in love with the normal simple noble girl and after first "bumping" into her develops feelings after seeing her simple side. But, there is a but: the girl is actually in love with the gloomy side character.

So what this novel does is play with the idea of the perfect prince not being the focus of every noble girl (and I will not even start here of how not perfect he is here).... more>> The prince is so focused on his delusions that he can only see her as another girl that wants to captivate him, so he gets forceful while the main couple tries with all their might to solve this the best way possible. Add to that some minor (but major in the power structure of the kingdom) antagonists and we have this novel. This should serve as a good indication of what you will read.

There are some details that I found interesting in this novel, and I would like to discuss them in the spoiler. So:

Spoiler

The fact that the prince, and most of his immediate social circle, are incapable of literally seeing the reality is baffling. It comes to the surreal point here. At one point I got the impression that there must have been some problem that would justify it, at least somewhat. And got pissed off saying "da f*ck did those prince (s) and his circle of doom parents has done with those f*cking children?". There is a sliver of explanation as to why the princes are incapable of basic decency, which is revealed as their mother pampered then as she had difficulty in getting pregnant, this comes off as a jab at her and the king, as he must have done nothing to tranquilize her (do notice that the king is one of the best and most decent of the royal family members, even considering this sh*t he must have done). But this does not explain how even the fiancee candidates could not see it too, especially the principal one. It was as if the connection between their brain and the sensations' input was impaired by some magic (I thought that there was some obscure plot to f*ck the royal family, but it was all their s*upidity alone). However, I got the impression that this turned the resolution of the misunderstanding even more so satisfying.

The second "saga" with the prince's younger brother was nice too. I would say that even the addition of the villain queen was nice, considering how she was the same as the princes in her incapability to see reality. Even so, it was enjoyable to see them get their shortcoming in the end. But the first part is more enjoyable, overall (at least in my opinion, but has the best boy of all boys in Tobias, he is perfect in this plot even with the trope of the knight that does not understands nuances.).

What I would say is that the FL obsession could get tiresome to some. But as this plays with the concept that there are people who can not see how in love she is with the ML even on how forward she is, I would say that it is nice. And the second extras are enjoyable, I read it with a smile most of the time. Good luck 3rd prince. You are everything your brothers were not. Thankfully (and he was right in not saying that she should love him, or that he love her directly, as there is the point of why the FL could not openly recuse the first prince's advances, so he could be sly and say "I hope the day comes when you love me" or some cliche nice line, but it is nice anyway).

[collapse]

I recommend this novel. Very much. Just get ready to be pissed off at the antagonists. But will get satisfied in the end.
Spoiler

I would just welcome some more details about the shortcoming of some of the antagonists, especially the brother and sister of ball suckers, with only a minor mention about the family and the girl's bleak future, but the brother should've gotten f*cked hard, maybe more than the princes, shame we did not get to see his ending. And about what happened with the 2 princes and the queen after the coronation of the 3rd prince. I would like that the first prince to at least got some minor redemption, at least apologizes to his shitness, and go become a rescuer somewhere.
