I honestly really love this type of stories! If you know about Eminence In Shadow, you will absolutely love this story too! It was so funny, full of misunderstanding, but everything ended up all according to 'plan' (which, actually, is nonexistent). A fun read!

The story is pretty funny but unfortunately the MC is the classical OP but dumb MC. In fact the MC isn't really dumb but when it comes to his system and most of the misunderstandings with his friends then yes he is (it's like seeing 2 MC, one normal and one just plain s*upid)

The good point is that the other characters are really good and not dumb at all. The misunderstandings with them (from their point of view) are really funny to read and don't feel forced at all.

If... more>> it wasn't for the MC sometimes doing things who could lead him to a mental asylum and the translation who isn't very good then the story would be a 4/5 insteed of 3/5 so I recommend reading this with a relax mind <<less

Do I recommend it?

Yes, but only if you want to read some mindless lighthearted story. But beware that it does get repetitive even if they try to spin the elements.

What the story is about?

The MC is super OP but because his power kind work out of the scene he mistakenly believes that he is just a normal dude that is good in a few normal task, like playing or farming. However they are all max lvl bullsh*t food and items, that will become the source of gain arbitary points by... more>> giving them away to other cultivators that gain level faster than others Xianxia MCs.

The story plot mostly use the Overlord (the novel) Methody, where the people around the MC think he has a master plan that in a convoluted and pure luck way confirm their speculation for the MC 5d chess. But where Overlord has relative minimal intervention of the OP MC, this one the resolution is always when everything is going to shit, the MC deus exmachina his followers out of trouble by playing or reading scriptures 10000 miles away and resonating with some random item they have at hand.

Why give 3 stars?

Well the story does has it flaws but it has a somewhat enjoyable cast and lighthearted theme, that while preserve some points of the genere it has a different focus, with the author being capable of bring a few surprise on what you think there isn't any room to grow in the story.

On a side note I was surprise on the lack of Harem and how much others male characters got screen time than the MC, in this kind of novel. <<less

I find this hilarious and rather enjoyable to read. Everyone the MC meets thinks he's playing 4D chess and read really deeply into his every action. The MC thinks he's playing checkers but each of his moves is like moving an army. It's silly, but it's an amusing departure from the typical face-slapping cultivation novel.

A copy of I'm actually a cultivation bigshot (or the other way around), and I feel like there was also some third novel like it. If you read one, you read them all. They are all the same.

I mean, there are superficial differences (different events, characters), but we have a setting of the same type, the same character archetypes (whether it be the protagonist, love interests, or side characters), the same type of events, the same type of comedy...

The comedy's a fun read in the short run, but gets old... more>> rather quick. Actually, comedy is probably the only point of value in this novel.

Well, it isn't exactly bad when all is said and done. Just average. <<less

Great premise and great set-up, it starts of real strong too, but it gets boring so quickly.

After a while it is just mindless droning nonsense, MC pumps side characters on steroids (elixirs n all), gets them overgeared, and STILL saves the day unknowingly.

The translation is a bit rough too but considering the actual content, you can definitely get by.

I really enjoyed this sh*t at first but second half of the story is messed up.

I don't know why this author did this but he totally ruined it. Only 53 chapter left for me. But this is hard to read. So many bullsh*t arc ruined everything.

And for god sake... You will find out that MC is too strong, strongest, creator.... Blah blah and suddenly you will find out that this bastard is a ret*rd and too weak.

For god damn sake he is too weak. He was stongest cultivator in his previous life but used his life to fought against dark taboo enemy. And after he reincarnated his enemies power of too fast. And there will be always enemies who watch him even at the time of his s*x. For god sake I am totally pissed of.

Hope I will have enough patience to finish the remaining chapters.

For first half it deserve 4.5/5 but now I want to give 1 star. <<less
