The ML,.. He forced the king for him to be engaged to MC. The king wanted to give MC a title and land but was opposed by the selfish ML. MC and ML really suits each other, one is s*upid and masochist, while the other is selfish and arrogant <<less

The fluffy moment is only at the beginning when everyone still enjoying their childhood life. No harem.

Throughout the novel is about the journey of our MC daily life of crying in pain lovesickness of not knowing anything but hiddenly protected by others. Everyone love MC airheadness because he's cute delicate slim guy who can't grow much due to poison,
even the Female Heroine felt that the pampered MC, a guy, is much more of Mary-sue heroine than her. The Male Heroine who's force to accept the secret contract between the ML and his friends so they can keep en eye on him due to MC keep being paranoid whenever seeing him since it remind the MC of the BL plot.

Poor Male heroine have to join in their daily conversation about how cute the MC is when he too don't know who's MC is yet.

The plot is about a BL game X Otome Shoujo game mix up. There's two heroine; the Male

and the Female

Since it mix game the capture targets more like bis**uals.

I was wondering why the author like to try feminisation the MC, he a college guy who reincarnated! Dressing him up, princess carry and all. I know it's for the fluff but it getting weird when he keep accepting to be female role... He more suited to be reborn than reincarnated so it doesn't emphasize the White lotus vibe.

Since He doesn't know what to do with his life other than worrying breaking up with ML, so he ask the Queen to give him a PRINCESS ETIQUETTE EDUCATION since he's the fiance?!? I'm like why can't you ask for prince course or something? Every adult try to break their relationship so they can have a heir, or consult him by saying he should married as concubine/second wife. Even the Queen ask him to join her to go travel abroad to avoid this mess and then come back.

There's no greedy harem or stealing other lovers. More about scheming of adults rather than between teenagers love. All the characters in the game is like a cannon fodder/ puppet use by their parents and adults *faceplam*.

The MC still married the ML.

The heroine doesn't want to mix with the game so she quit the school early then...

The Male heroine quit school after tragic event with MC, then...

This whole drama from their parents to their children, political marriages and all which ruined everyone mentally and life was cause by the Majesty. And our MC a fudanshi know the truth, ask the Majesty paid his sin by asking him to sleep with his father for 17 times only since he's been abused for 17 years ?!?

That's one of the reasons why the father abuse and want to kill the MC (like really kill MC). Yoo~ that's a crime I was hoping a face slapping/retribution/revenge but our MC busy being a matchmaker giving others happy ending. Just gloss it off the issues.

Our MC still crazily in love with the prince and can't accept everyone ask him to break the engagement due to the prince selected to be a king and need a heir.

Then, come in another princess from foreign country forcing to married a king for benefit.

Then his Majesty still kept the agreement to sleep with the MC father while both of them try to marry new wife since they need a new sons for heir.

The author doesn't explain much about the Male Lead (Alfred the second prince) and his Aides (childhood friends - also capture targets) what they're doing behind the scenes whether dirty or not and their progress journey. More explain about their innocence friendship when they were a child, maybe so it could be more favourable for the readers towards the capture targets.

I decided to get into this because the first chapter had a promising start. The MC seemed like a willful, strong character, but as the story went on... what happened to that? I've read ahead into the raws, nearly finishing the story and then wondered why I wasted so much time on it. I'm not going to spoil anything major but let's just say that the only thing the MC thinks about is the ML. That's what his entire character and existence consists of. He literally never thinks of anything... more>> else. He has no hobbies, no desires (aside from the ML, apparently, but their chemistry isn't even that convincing anyway. Why do they even like each other?), no dreams, no personality (and no, cute, which he is described of as often, is not a personality), nothing he cares about outside the ML. All the characters are flat and uninteresting aside from the MC's female friend who is somehow a step up from the MC in that at least she expresses what she wants to do in her future. That's just sad. That's such a low bar; the minimum requirement that makes readers want to root for the MC, and the MC doesn't even clear it. A side character does. It's hilarious now that I'm writing this review.

The plot is nothing. There's barely anything aside from MC's fear of his death that drives things and even then, he doesn't take any initiative at all. Things happen to him but he never makes things happen himself. Very boring. Why'd I waste my life on this. I demand my time back. <<less

The first few chapters were interesting, but as the novel continues, I start to lose interest and it hurted my brain trying to figure out "why" and "how".

Overall, About 99% or so of the characters in this story is on the negative side of IQ/common sense.

Main reason for reading this: the translation is good and if you are alright with reading a novel damsel in distress MC and no IQ characters and is just looking for something that is light harem like.

If you want soft BL harem, this is the story for you! This novel is a light read, nothing too serious, really enjoyable with all the fluff ♡♡ There is still plot, a good plot at that, but the main focus are all the flirty really cute scenes.

BONUS: The author seems really nice and the translator did a great job!! They also update frequently ♡♡

There's not much good to say about this except the translation was done very well.

Overall, MC is as other readers have mentioned: weak, crybaby, clueless.

The author tried several times to make the MC more intellectual or have his own schemes, but they were presented as infodumps after the fact, aka very unconvincing. You can tell the author wanted the MC to be more interesting (?) but failed to successfully execute that in the writing.

Obviously, it was wrong of the MC's mother to cheat on his father, but for the father to choose to take out his anger by hitting a 6 year old innocent child is also just wrong. It's not bad but it's only bearable if you really like cute, basically useless MCs.

The first few chapters start off good, with the MC remembering his past life memories and standing up for himself, but once he gets the slightest realization that he loves the ML, all that character goes right through the window.

Now it would be fine if he was only cute and weak in front of the people he trusts but unfortunately, he's like this with basically everyone. He's no longer able to stand up for himself, only... more>> able to wait for the ML or any other of his friends to come and save him.

It's not bad for a fluffy, cute, no-brain stress-reliever though, since you'll know that nothing bad will actually happen. The interactions are somewhat cute and it can be funny to see literally everyone falling for the MC's cuteness but otherwise there is little to no substance.

That being said, I really wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for anything with a story and plot. There is some semblance to a plot here and there but between all the feel-good fluff I honestly can't even remember any plot whatsoever.

If that's your cup of tea then this novel is for you. I personally probably will keep reading it once more chapters come out, probably. I'm already this deep in so I can't back out now.

The translation is really good. Huge props and thanks to the translators of the series. If the translation was sub-par I would probably have dropped it by now.

After reading and finally, finally finishing this absolute mess of a novel, I can say that it is not worth reading. Uhh. The story is just so messy and it gets more and more confusing, like just plot twists pulled out of absolutely god knows where. Especially around the later chapters. My reaction everytime I read a paragraph is just variations of "HUH??? WHAT??? WHY???"

But there is some good points to it. For instance, it gets so bad and so unbelievable at some points that it's funny. I had a great (painful) time laughing in disbelief at this novel.

And there is also a side pairing that appears in about chapter 59 which, makes absolutely no sense. Despite that, I actually enjoy their dynamic. They have a lot of potential. Looks good so far. The translator has done a good job, and the premise itself is interesting.

The only negative aspect would be how short the first chapter is. I'm not sure if every chapter is this short or just the first one, but for those who prefer having more material to read, they might want to wait until a few more chapters have been translated so that they aren't frustrated when they run out of reading material.

I couldn't even make it up to the entrance ceremony. The MC is a university student reincarnated but it really doesn't feel that way at all, especially when they were 12 years old. The MC has the advantage of being a mature male in a kids body except why does it feel like the actual 12 year olds are more mature than he is ? The crying. He's always crying, small, fragile etc. Why on earth did the author give us a badass scene in the start and just flipped... more>> the MC's personality to that of a damsel in distress. What happened there? Also, I forgot this was a BL halfway through the first 5 chapters because of how the author depicts the main character. So, story isn't for me. Just slap some b**bs on him and throw him in a frilly dress and he'd be no different from any other FL in the most trope-y of shoujo drivel.

There were attempts at deeper plots and maybe those will pan out later,... more>> but I highly doubt it at this point.

Is not bad, and I like the romance interaction of the MC and ML but the story is kind of dark for a otome game (is not too dark but the MC father hit the MC and there is even potion and asecination) to be honest I was hopping for a sweet story, since is a otome game.

I seem to have forgotten why I usually don't read Japanese light novels when I started reading this. But then I remembered... I get annoyed by Japanese light novel MCs a lot of the time. It's always those naive, happygolucky, dense and exaggeratedly silly protagonists that get to me. If you were to use a Chinese term, you could call the MC a white lotus, pure holy mother and a Mary Sue. I really don't like this type of protagonist. It just feels generic and without real substance. The fact... more>> that I have read too many novels with these kinds of MCs also doesn't help with my annoyance.

The plot is also pretty generic which I won't fault for now since I don't particularly mind cliches. In fact, I like them even sometimes and actively search for such novels. The novels only needed a bit of their own twist to make the cliches their own to satisfy me. This time, however, was a dud for me. It felt like I was reading every otome light novel I have ever read before again in BL format. The fact that the characters were pretty one dimensional and stereotypical didn't help.

Needless to say that I dropped the novel. I needed a light and easy read as a pick-me-up for in-between longer novels. And while this was indeed a light read, it was so light it felt like my braincells were about to take off and fly out the window, never to be seen again. <<less

At the start, I enjoyed how the character had made his choices by himself without being influenced on how people around him thought or influenced by love at all. As you progress deeper into the story, it is evident that the MC (fania) quickly got dependent on people around him which is not really bad, but he got too dependent to the point he would easily cry if something bad happened to him. The character development is slow, but still acceptable. It was only near the end did the MC... more>> finally start standing up for himself again just like in the start. The scenes aren't too explicit but it is still highly suggestive, the fluff could also be tooth-rotting had both characters been clear from the start about their feelings for each other instead of running around like cat & mouse. Overall this story isn't that good but not bad either. Since Author had put effort in this, I guess it could pass. <<less

It's cute and pretty simple - MC gets transmigrated into the villain character and has to escape his 'death' ending - but with a BL twist! Lots of fluffiness with little conflict, but I seem to recall that our MC was a 20-year-old man when he transmigrated? His thought processes and characterisation as Fania is very immature/child-like... maybe the physical body does affect your mental state too...? ^_^

I wanted to put up a review initially but forgot to do so later on. So, this novel is literally finished pretty much in the first 10-20 chapters. • Fania (MC) gets pushed into pond, regains previous life memories of second prince "abandoning" him (let's say it's OG Fania, not exactly the current one) for the protagonist. He even banishes the other person to exile just because of the fact that OG Fania is clung to their relationship (and, it's not even his fault!! The scummy dad of his wants to tie him up to the prince for political benefits. He is even physically violent and tends to beat Fania up, thus his more restrained personality in the future. So, the OG Fania (aka, so called villain of this otome BL harem) gets convicted for no reason.
• The next thing we know is, MC takes over, changes ML's three views and de ja vu, falls deeply in love with the ML. It's not even slow burn at this point because as soon as ML's behaviour is a bit softer towards the MC he just falls in love with him.
• MC is a complete Tsun. He only reveals his true feelings when he is drunk. Thats pretty funny so that's 1 star for me.

I guess the other 2 stars are contributed to the translation quality and to the fact that MC and ML don't really have any obstacles in their romance story. I won't say it's all "fluff" because those tragic elements are still there, but have been glossed over and everything just seems pretty predictable, like, ML didn't have a single hitch in getting MC's love (apart from that poisoning incident, which had been really shortened). It had potential, and would have worked out better if it got shortened into a one-shot (the ones which span about 10-20 chapters). If then, maybe it won't have felt such a drag to read later on. <<less
