I guess xiao quns had a rough childhood too like chengxiu. one had gone insane and one keep fighting to survive. 97% of the story is basically li chengxiu's suffering and moving out house to house, Sissy only describe his appearance and I admire him hes fcking mentality and physically strong. And we definitely deserve to know shao quns past, he craves a lot of attention causing his sociopath gayass got depressed

I get why everyone is uncomfortable with our cheng xiu, but you need to know he’s not weak, his mentality is really strong, well he dropped out of school when he is a 14-15 year old kid, take care of his mother, finding jobs, can anyone do that? Of course not. Here I just want to share some of my opinions, I don’t think he is weak or cowardly at all, yes! Sometimes he can be so frustrating, but he tries hard to live his ideal life, he wants love... more>> and home, that is why he is so easily fall in love with people who do good things to him, and fall for ML trick. For the scum Ml, I really want to say “go fcking die for me” to him hundred of time and really go into the novel to kill him for what he has done but for our MC happiness, we need this scum😌, even tho

Okay f*ck I wasn't gonna write this because I have forgiven him for what he did when they were still a teen. It is understandble. Boys at that age are the most curious and impulsive. I understand it.

BUT F*CK! I know he doesn't treat MC as an equal. Okay, he is treating him really well (sh*t no. He treats MC as a PET. LOL) and has this temper but for him to actually cheat behind him. To have the guts to say that MC doesn't trust him, bro, I think you are sick! I am nauseous thinking MC is with this sh*t ML. F*CK YOU! I HOPE YOUR D*CK WILL ROT! I especially hate people who are intimate (cheating) to others when they are in a relationship. It's disgusting.

ML, YOU ARE F*CKING GETTING MARRIED AND YOU THINK MC WONT LEAVE YOU? PLEASE GIVE HIM A BIT OF RESPECT! I'm so mad about this thing, MC does not deserve to be treated this way! He is so precious T.T

I wished he didn't end up with ML. MC is better with the second ML. I am so sad.

I understand the ML's side though, he is just too manipulated by what kind of family brought him. He is mentally derailed but lets give him a chance. I am okay as long as MC is willing and happy to spend the rest of his life with him. Actually, MC didn't actually suffer that long compared to other MC of angst novel like this one. ML actually suffered more here because of his (ML) s*upidity about how to love a person.

Both of them are deeply hurt. I just want the both of them to be happy and be set free from the past.

I sympathize with the second ML. I hope he could find someone who can love him back unconditionally and be happy. When second ML asked MC to live together in US because second ML can't go back to China due to being framed by ML, I really hate MC when he hesitated to go. Bro, I understand you, but for the sake of the relationship of you and second ML, I had hope that you could at least try to go out of your comfort zone. You can't be inside your shell forever. You want happiness, but don't take a step to chase the happiness that you want. You think second ML's business is more important than you? You broke up with him just because ML told you he will not trample on second ML anymore if he separated from second ML. What a naive and s*upid MC. It's fortunate that he found someone, finally. He can be happy.

I love how the ML suffered in this novel, he has come a long way, and he deserves a third chance with the MC.

The appearance of the third ML is a game changer. HAHAHAHA. He is so cute. Btw, he is a 19 year old boy who has a one-sided crush to MC xD

The ending of the main story and the extras are just so beautiful.

About to cough up blood because the novel really did justice go the tags and more. MC was forced to succumb to his situation and ML was a psychotic bit*h who forced MC to a corner during his “wife-chasing” period. I’m thankful that I didn’t form a deep attachment to the characters because if I did I would certainly mu*der the ML myself. ML truly deserves his title as President of the 188 club. Everyone talks about how scummy shao qun is and how they want him to hurt awhile more but I personally hate his big sis more, she is the one who get envolved in his personal matters and mess his life for him and I saw a big diference between shao qun real persona and how he talks to his sister and it disgust me alittle, she has no right her or all her other sisters to tell shao qun what to do or mess behind his back I havent finished... more>> reading yet but I can already see what his family are going to do to abstruct their relationship from taking his inhertance to disowning him f*ck them, I dont want him to lose his money to just to punish him properly no one should really, and I dont want him to make any dratistic changes in his life he can just regret properly and treat MC with the repsect he needs, I dont want him to wipe the floor with his dignity or anything, it would have been better for the both of them if they didnt end up together he doesnt deserve MC he hurt too much but I just dont want to see him suffer I just dont know why <<less

Must read. Lots of ups and downs. But worthy reading, plus winner takes all and additional inheritance is must follow up read. I read this three in reverse position winner takes all first then additional inheritance and sissy at last. So I enjoyed this.. You can read as normal procedure sissy, additional inheritance and winner takes all at last. Happy reading all three books. 💗💪

Very nice translation. I'm so loving this novel. I'm very satisfied with the ending and the whole plot. I just love this kind of chasing wife genre and this novel totally delivered. I can't wait to read the extras. Thanking the translator for the beautiful and coherent translation :)

If a calm and collected person who never swear believe me just read this novel and you will learn how to swear or how to insult how how to criticized the ML I am really frustrated I was f*ck*ng idiot why was I such a fool what even I was thinking when I thought of reading this novel there was even a warning that people like me don't have to read this but I have to read it I just have to insists on reading I was such a person frustrated😫😫😫😫.

I'm definitely not going to over analyze it like some others had, cause I personally did not see any big "message" about the evils of capitalism, or whatever that means. ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯ It's just a toxic relationship, period. Its not a romance novel... so I won't judge it as that. The ML has zero redeeming qualities he is just a pathetic a**hole.

If you read the extras you know the author doesn't romanticise their relationship. It's pretty obvious that The MC will never love the ML and just resigned himself to his fate. He takes solace in the child they have, the dog and his job

The ML never truly gets what he wants. Not the MC love. He has to live with the constant guilt of the r*pe and... more>> he gets panicked when it's mentioned several times in the extras. He is stuck with a child he doesn't want and but can't really complain about because the child was a tool for him to get the MC back... MC pays more attention to that child. He doesn't get pampered like he did when they were in love. He has to walk on eggshells for fear if he makes one wrong move its done!! This obviously keeps him in a constant state on fustration and anxiety.

The ML won a hollow victory in the end and im glad the author showcases it in the extras of after the ending. And its bittersweet for the MC because he settled. <<less

This novel in my opinion is not for everyone, it takes extremes to another level, in a way where it is either too aggressive, too sad, too helpless, then too sweet, and etc., It requires understanding in order to fully appreciate the story, so those who just concentrate of the feeling from the novel might dislike it, but those who grasped the meaning will definitely appreciate. I read the whole thing in 3 days by staying up till 5ish AM every night just because I really enjoyed. One thing I... more>> want to express to people who are starting 188 series, there is somewhat of connection between other novels, like I read Winner Takes All before and when reading this novel it hit me of some connections and then it hit me that they are connected. I wish I knew about it before starting this 188 series journey as I already read Beloved Enemy as well, of well next up Additional Inheritance. To conclude my review, the abuse in this novel is serious and can be triggering for many, so if you want something simple with butterflies in your tummy while reading, this is not it, instead this will feel like a punch in your gut before the moment of butterflies overtaking the tummy. <<less

The protagonist's character is too unrealistically meek and naive for a 28 year old and for one who has such a tragic past. I'm very disgusted and disappointed if this was a real man. There is absolutely no cure for the MC. I don't feel sorry for the abuse he suffers from the ML and I'm forcing myself to read the beginnings because I had hope he wasn't going to be this s*upid. This novel gives me impact and butterfly! I love the MC's character, he's not your typical Stockholm syndrome /s*upid bottom in every BL novel! He wanted to get freedom from the ML's manipulative and bully behavior after he found out he cheated on him, and after he's gone, the cruel and playboy ML realized his real feelings for the bottom, he's chasing him in every corner of the country, he didn't give up on him

The ML just felt kinda pathetic, he never grows up and even after changing his mind about MC never really quite grasps the concept of empathy or consideration. MC was quite a well rounded character, but their 'happy' ending seemed to be fueled by pity, guilt tripping, and the idea of love.

Seems like ML will always get his way or die trying, there is no growth even when he pretends to be contrite.

This novel has the most consistent concept with what lgbt community problems facing irl
Start from confused about s*x preference of mc+ml. Then the snowball effects caused by an irresponsible act of a spoiled selfish rich teenager destroy another teenager life. While the culprit and his cirlce enjoy living their life to fullest but the MC struggle in silence until they finally reunited and the ML bring more suffering later turn into happiness for MC.

Sissy probably the most light bl manhua I ever read lol :p, can be consider as short where actually many characters faith still leaved in wonders, the angst there but bear-able atleast for me and the extra chapters really lifted up our mood about how the story ending.
Tbh without the extras I would be consider sissy as a dropped work by the author.
Im curious about extra 11 and 12 cant found it till now. Please dm me for link if you know about this.

I just gotta say it, I hate Shao Qun. This was my very first Danmei novel and I wouldn't recommend it as a starter if you get easily trigger. It touches some very delicate subjects; having said that: I encourage you to give it a try. It may be that I am totally bias (being my first Danmei) but it actually made me go through lots of emotions. I found myself constantly angered by the way the ML interfere with the mc's life, then feeling very frustrared about the lack... more>> of control the MC actually has about the whole situation; but the icing top and what ended up consolidating this novel in my heart was the MC, in my opinion he is by no means a sissy, he is one of the steongest MCs I have ever seen

i was going to make a review earlier after I binged this during the turkey break but I wanted to read the extras first but then I couldn't bc I got busy bc of school and now I lowkey forgot what I was feeling while I was reading but um basically

the groveling was just too much like at that point I was just like ugh they should just get tgthr

but in the end when they did I was like wtf so basically he just trapped in like forced him into the relationship, lcx was just like oh hell just keep harassing me and ruining himself if I don't get with him so I have to. like bro still doesn't respect lcx and his boundaries at all

my favorite character is that young master guy ok a lot has happened since I read this even tho it was a few days ago my brain has been used to memorize stuff for school so I forgot his name

he was funny.

the 2nd lead was nice and I they should've just gotten together but he was a bit boring and unreal

shao qun is an embarrassing and ridiculous character. li chengxiu did not deserve all that happened to him bc what did he even do fr 💀 unlucky

seeing sq grovel just pissed me off tho like yeah that's what happened glad you get it but after understanding that you caused the person you loved sm trouble you should leave them alone instead of insisting to be with them when they clearly don't want to be with you and literally lowkey have trauma because of you

anyways that's all I think. oh I have no clue what to rate it bc I haven't read it it in a while... it was kinda brainless entertainment for me during turkey break bc this is what I always do during breaks- revert to my quarantine era self. I hope to read something that requires literary comprehension next

I really can't fathom the MC still ending up with the ML. Like haha, I don't, maybe it's for me, all the things he'd done is not forgivable. I even feel bad for the ending. I wish there's a revenge, like REAL REVENGE ending. Maybe the author should have done where the ML was gonna die, slowly, with pain, loneliness, regret, sorrow, depression and such..I wish it was done, then maybe I'll get reconciled. Like I really can't fathom the plot. No matter how I badly want to understand and... more>> accept it. For real, I feel like no matter what happens, the ML was tainted, dirty and disgusting.

Gosh, 😩 I wish this one really is a like revenge plot. That would've been better. But not! The MC was naive and s*upid until the end. It's like back to zero, tho the difference was the ML no longer cheat (?) 😂 Lol (for sure it's not, haha why would a bastard like him settle? Ones or occasionally that fVcker would do that thing even until the end.

Really, this story made the "Black Lotus" less toxic and less stressful.

To all people who made it 5 star with at least good reviews... Wt fudge y'all? Is your brain dead? Well, tbh the author writing style was superb. It's just the f*ckin plot was the worst... for me (well if it's not to you too then you have a problem).

If God's forgive, then I don't. May the ML suffer to the point his tainted soul will be blank clean

Btw, idk if it's past year or. 2021 when I first read the manhwa of this. Gosh look, took me few years to finish it cuz I really don't want to read it but I badly want revenge, sadly it doesn't have.
