Believe it or not, this is actually good. So far, that is. The protagonist has a consistent personality that is like Leylin's from WMW. You can feel the struggle and fairly intelligent deciscions are made. The author did a really good job bringing out a real feeling from the anime World and characters. This is more like terror infinity with anime worlds. Also, the protagonist is mainly a swordsman which is a plus for me.

I've dropped this 2 times out of boredom and am about to drop this a third time right now.

But it's just so long that I know that I will come back to read it again later when I forget how boring it is just so that I can pass time reading it.

Spoiler

Hmm, where to start.

Basically, the MC is a machine.

The guy has almost no feelings except negative ones.

He has no cool power or strenght or something like that, he's just a somewhat cold guy with a cool inheritance that isn't really that powerful to be honest.

I also do not like the reincarnation paradise and the way it works.

I would prefer if the MC worked alone in every world.

Having a bunch of nobodies that no one knows or cares about to go with him to a world just to serve as cannon fodder, mysterious people, or annoying enemies to make things harder for the MC just makes me feel irritated.

It feels like it would be better if the MC did everything alone, like the loner he already is.

Of course, that wouldn't make sense with the plot so that's just my personal preference.

Also there's also the fact that the MC has basically no friends, and no connections at all.

Well, he may have connections but mostly it's just a relationship where they use each other.

Basically, there's not much emotion around the MC.

It's just getting stronger and stronger with the occasional enemy here and there.

Not very interesting.

Also the MC isn't even cool, he just has lame moves like swordsmanship and alchemy bombs.

It's super lame stuff.

[collapse]

I don't recommend this unless you have nothing to read most of the time like me. <<less

Edgy MC in the infinity genre, why is this feels so generic.

Well the story and fights is pretty interesting. Different from TI that use the 'movie' main plot or TUE's extended fan lore, RP's using a secondary side arc that happens near/alongside the main plot of the 'movies'. It's a stretch, but just right. With overall good plot progression you can't wait to read the next chapter.

Then comes the problem:

RP's world have very unbalanced progression.

Spoiler

MC forced to fight 2v1 against a 2-3 wolrds veteran tank+healer combo in his first proper movie 'wold'. With only 1 white grade weapon, 1 skill accessory and a toggle mana burn skill, and somehow he can manage to out-damage the tank+healer even after the tank goes berserk, have 10+ atribute gap and a sniper comes and make it 3v1 fight. And that's his first hunter vs hunter fight, and he just somehow wipe the floor on it.

[collapse]

Broken and bullsh*t item drop.

Spoiler

In his tutorial mission, MC managed to obtain a "Legendary" weapon that FOR SOME REASON happen to be a low grade (white) and have a plot progression upgrade. And if you don't know what I mean, MC OBTAIN A LEGENDARY EVOLUTIONABLE GEAR AT FIRST TRY. The author might as well write tr*shy isekai

[collapse]

Random ass plot armor.

Spoiler

So MC got this super secret super broken skill after his first tutorial happen to get a flying colors, because he defeat legendary class beast, while that is the ONLY WAY to progress the main quests. Thats like the world wants him to be the superman all along.

[collapse]

Shitty skill progression.

Spoiler

So MC happen to get a race transformation scroll and a race unique skill scroll from the world's ULTIMATE BOSS that he trade for a normal rare grade passive skill. The characters actively suggest that passive skill is the best broken thing in the world that nobody else can have ever have. Thrn what the authir do?, let's max the skill level in the next chapter for 15K coins and 50 minutes, literally less than an hour. HOW PROGRESSIVE

[collapse]

Personality

Spoiler

From the start we know that MC is an avanger, edgy and shit. Sometimes he's a bloodthirsty beast wanting to cull heads. Sometimes he become a grumpy sullen old veteran that kills only to make quick bucks only to buy cigaretts. And another times he become a greedy piece of sh*t that can be bought with money. And the other time he became a calm and soo intellegent he can master sword stance in days. And he's a berserker too sometimes. Oh yea, he's an oggling pe*vert too. And there's no explaination why, he just happen to be everything.

[collapse]

And the quests.

Spoiler

So the MC got a hunting quest to jill a certain rogue contestant, and he had a kind of tracking privilage in a certain distance. If MC fail he dies. So he MC decided to do a genocide, I because for some reason he needs to cull the contestant numbers for the main quests. And for some reason the main hunting quest hot completed, how? Because his prey failed his quests. What quests? Nobody knows. We never even meet the prey, he just says some evil shit, and just dead in a second.

And then there's this side plot where every other contestant make a alliance in a faction to defeat MC, what happen to them? They got culled without ressistance, they just died and the rest pays money for their live.

So the conclusion is in this novel if it's not the MC, they just die ln the side of a road

[collapse]

Overall it's not a bad read, not great too nonetheless. I don't like how a loser MC in TI is, but even that have better story progression than this. Even if its only downhill, and only to the abyss.

Key points will be explored:

1. The protagonist can be described as the extreme end of anti-hero, selfish, and ruthless, yet not cruel. He will show no mercy regardless of gender, or age - be warned.

2. The background for 'transmigrating' is the Paradise system. It's a system which is feeding on source energy of fictional worlds in order to increase its power. Contracters. Hunters. Workers. Are... it's unknowing pets. Not spoiler, obvious early on.

3. The linguistics is absolutely terrible. It's like a child has wrote this, which is more possible than... more>> what one may realise. Also rather odd is how 'Japanese' the structure feels, but it's definitely not Japanese in content.

4. The story-telling is third-person, POV of others will only be for maximum 3 lines.

5. Chapters are extremely short.

6. The updating schedule is usually once a day. Would recommend stockpiling.

7. The novel is a cliche-breaker, incidents will occur for the sole purpose of defying cliches. This aspect can either be heavily adored, or disliked.

Personal thoughts: Would be even better if the translation used standard - at least formal - English instead of Pigeon English. Alas.

Edit: I've since given up on the novel. The translation quality is utterly terrible. I had hoped it would improve in time, but it has actually declined. If I were rate the novel now, it would be 2 stars at best - what good is a great novel if the translation is practically unreadable? <<less

MC is more of a anti hero and yes he kills. He visits different worlds, first world is one piece but just a glimpse of it, next is tokyo ghoul. His more of a swordsman with an anti mage build. He trained witg a sword for 3 years to get his revenge, but died then he got reincarnated, then you have to read the rest. The translation is pretty good. Not the best but good.

OH MY GOD

THIS IS SO FLIPPIN' GOOD!

Don't look at the fact that our MC is a cold blooded person who doesn't give a sh*t even if there's a beautiful woman begging for him to spare her life. I love that kind of stuff. Twisted, right? If it was not labeled as antihero protagonist and the MC got praised left and right for mu*dering anything and everything, I wouldn't have liked it, but it's not.

But in the 'reincarnation paradise', it's survival of the fittest and everyone's just doing what they can... more>> to survive. If others don't provoke him, he wouldn't do anything to them. Simple as that. That is, unless the 'reincarnation paradise' issues a task that asks him to kill someone, ect. Even so, he completes them for the sake of survival and getting stronger to get revenge on those who've wronged him back then.

If you're an otaku (like me), then you'll absolutely love this!

He starts off weak, yet sometimes he is OP. I love how the author shows him in both difficult situations and situations where he's basically a OP character who causes the spectator's jaws to drop. The fights are very realistic and everything can be summed up in a single word:

AWESOME!

Then again, if had to name a complaint, then it'd be the fact that the translation quality is really, really bad. Words like "guy" were written as "gay" and I once saw the name of some sort of battle move misspelt to the point I didn't even know what it was until some time later and go like "Ohhh wait, don't tell me that that was..." <<less

to be honest, this is really really good, this is so underrated. I super love it like, a lone wolf and op MC + animal partners + doesn't give a sh*t about women + no harem + no romance (up to where I read, no signs of romance) + ruthless and anti-hero MC + anime = *chef's kiss* for me. As an avid fan of anime, this is like paradise for me, so I mtl-ed it up to chapter 2426 but

Spoiler

starting chapter 1845 onwards, all we got was native worlds, now chapter 2426, we still got native worlds, and the next world after that, and the next next world after that, and the next next next world and the next next next next world after that, we still got no derivative/anime world. So I decided to stop reading for a while and read again when I basically want to.

my real rating should be 4.5 stars because of that issue. But aside from that, this novel is really goooood! So try it! You'll get addicted! <<less

It’s been a long time since I found a book so good I read all of it.

And I mean all 3000 chapters of it in Chinese.

At first, the concept seemed okay at most, and I dropped it during the Tokyo Ghoul arc.

And then, 2 months later, I decided to come back, to read the book in Chinese, and the next few arcs are also pretty okay.

What really changed my mind was these things.

Spoiler

First, the Akame ga Kill arc made me happy because it’s a breath of fresh air, but what got me sold was when the other Paradise attacked. After all these anime type words are finished, the author replaced the worlds with his own OC’s, which is better than what you’d expect. There’s some hit or miss there, but in the end, I love it.

I hate wimpy “justice” shounen MC’s, and this one is a breath of fresh air. He don’t have much personality, more cold blooded than anything, but that works surprisingly well.

The people who are saying he’s not op, needs to wait for his power spike, where all the world building adds up and it actually makes a lot of sense later on, as the entire world, the existance of the Paradise, and more are all explained, deeply. The author has insane world building skills, and his inteperation of “The Void” (basically the entire universe, parallel universes aren’t a thing) is amazing.

When I first read this, I have MANY complaints, including most being mentioned in the reviews above. But all of them serves a purpose that differentiates this book from the others. The outcome is more than quite amazing, it’s bonkers.

[collapse]

However, the first 300 or so chaps aren’t that good, so if you’re wanting to read this, either read it in Chinese and skim through these, or just wait until most are translated.

If you hate this book because of the Universe Invasion genre, you’d love it later on. People who’re complaining that a bunch of useless people go in the world together, well, again, it works really well, like really really well.

The author, props to you, you have made an anime worthy book excluding the first half for copyright reasons, and you have made everything makes sense, including one of my big complaint in isekais which is “Why the f*ck are they transported? How does this work? Who’s god?” This novel explains all of these. 10/10 must read for me. <<less

Let me preface by saying that this isn't a review of of the literature content, this is a review of the writing.

Yeah, I guess I can sort of see why you might take my review with a grain of salt, I have only read 31 chapters after all. Problem is, as a person who speaks English, well, considering I was born in America, this novel is painful to read. I've always read reviews of novels like this and wondered why people never bring up the horrific translations. The conclusion that... more>> I've stuck with is that those people just aren't very good at reading English. It's really easy to not notice grammar mistakes when you don't understand grammar. I'm not intending to insult, but that's just a pretty valid reason for nobody noticing this tragedy of writing.

If English is your first language, then I guarantee that you will get a headache if you try to read this book. It makes one sick to the stomach to read the words off the page. Besides being littered with spelling problems, there are constant and egregious grammar mistakes. This isn't intended to be an insult to the translator either. Assuming this is a machine translation then not much can be done. If the translation is done by a person, then it's clear that they cannot speak English well in any sense. That's totally fine, nobody needs to know English, and since I'm not paying to read this book, poor quality is completely acceptable. But the horrific translation shouldn't be ignored.

Now, let's ignore the translators for a moment and talk about the actual original author. It's seems clear that the author simply isn't a good writer. Once again, since we aren't paying for this novel, that's fine, he/she has no obligation to make a quality piece of literature if he's/she's not receiving money from us. My point is, bad writing accompanied by the disgusting translation combine to make one of the largest affronts to English writing this side of the globe.

Conclusion: This story deserves two stars. Two stars are subtracted due to the translation, and one extra due to the authors bad writing. The two stars that are left are merely due to the fact that I haven't read far enough into to the novel to know whether the migraine I have right now is worth it, and because many of the other reviews state that this book is extremely good. I will give the author the benefit of the doubt and assume that, somehow, he/she managed to not create an absolute travesty of a story. <<less

Story would be better if the translation want so garbage. It is barely readable. I thank you for the translation of fanfic, but what the point when the fanfic is unreadable than what the point other than making quick money. Like seriously, every novel translated by this group or team, is so unreadable. Feel like I am reading a novel that was translated so that kid never learned how to properly read anything properly. Many of the novel on this translation otaku are ruined by bad to unreadable translation. Multiple... more>> grammar error, incorrect punctuation, wording that doesn't convey the original raw verison. Overall, a bad experience reading on this website. Basically like that one other website that translated monster factory around 90 or something, either way, the definition of bad translation is on the website that translated Reincarnation Paradise, Fantasy System and many other. <<less

Terror Infinity genre with no unique qualities beyond the cold-blooded, solo MC.

Translation: 2 - It's technically translated, but not in any manner that allows for smooth or enjoyable reading.

Writing: 2 - It's a story and not bad if it is one of the author's first attempts at writing, but no aspects positive enough to be worth mentioning.

Would not recommend unless it gets retranslated, and even then only for a time-killer.

Cold prota who constantly fights and schemes to get stronger, the author did a great job at describing battles and the like and also manages to add an appropriate amount humor into the story. Characters are more or less always one dimensional, so there is only little character development, but it more or less gets compensated by the diversity in characters. Fights are most of the time well written and often use logic in them as well, so it isn't just brainless clashing like in other novels. The MC has... more>> his 4-5 core abilities and that's it. The author tries to develop them and use them smartly instead of blindly adding flashy abilities like literally every other novel on this site, which shows that he knows the difference between novels and manga/anime (most don't, just look at the one of the one star reviews). Sadly there are some inconsistency errors otherwise I would rate this novel higher (would rate it 4, but to raise it's ranking I give it 5 stars), first of all with the attribute points and sometimes he forgets some of the rules or abilities he creates, which sometimes be a little frustrating, he often corrects these mistakes later, but still.. <<less

Lone wolf assassin type MC gets thrown into a place that allows him to jump into different world and assume characters within that world and complete missions to gain points and level up.

Extremely gamified with concept such as item drops, lootbox, gear upgrade etc etc.

The MC is eventually joined by several animal companions each with their own quirks.

... more>> Be warn the MC is literally a mu*der hobo, his answer to almost any obstacle is to kill it with extreme prejudice.

If he hasn't killed you yet, that's because you might have some use for him and once that use is gone THEN he'll kill you.

There is no romance... his interaction with most female character trying to seduce him is to skewer them on his blade.

MC has the emotional range of an iceburg; cold, rigid and able to sink the Titanic with his conversational skill (or lack of).

He is never funny, never scared and never doubtful as he mu*der his way through the multiverse.

The first 1000 chapter he goes into Anime world with the occassional battle royal break inbetween.

After that, the author kinda gave up on Anime altogether and starts using world that he makes up himself.

These worlds have HEAVY inspiration from Soulsborne games, everything from thematic elements (grimedark), enemies (elder gods), world building (kingdom in ruin, undead city etc) and even events (dead man guarding a door asking for password) are inspired by From Software games.

The story can get really addictive at times but is also kinda of a hit or miss depending on if you like the world they are travelling to.

It is an acquired taste and some people will absolutely hate it because the MC's personality and action can be highly divisive.

Overall I enjoyed it. It's still going even after 3000 damn chapters and I haven't given up on the series or feel a noticeable drop in the quality of the story.

Take it for what it is! <<less

This novel would be so much better if it was just the MC in the worlds he visits. The only reason the other people exist is to piss off the MC so that he kills them or to show off how op he is. That's not the reason for the 3 stars though, the translation quality is the sole reason for that and 3 stars is me being generous. A few examples are names will change every other sentence, entire paragraphs will repeat, and some chapters feel like they don't... more>> even belong in the novel. <<less

The translation for this is bad and I mean really bad, It's a lazy translation and the editing for all the chapters are bad, we get ten chapters that actually have a good grammar but they change the way the chaptor is written making it stray away from how the MC should be acting and fleshed out, The MC shouldn't have any emotions of sympathy or sadness for someone and yet they had the balls to post even when it infringes copyright laws of the original work, lastly don't pay... more>> these the translators with any money and just use a translation engine to do it for you. <<less

well we have a lot to say about this work, but first of all YES the work is good. Why ? So simple the initial story that gives the trigger for the protagonist to be who he is when the main and secondary are not forgotten and advance together both revenge and the paradise of reincarnation, other points this protagonist you are proud of him because he kills any enemy no he is a subaru or like the others he is intelligent and strategist and he is not mega powerful... more>> he trains the maximum and he is obviously rewarded so in short it is very good I recommend. <<less

I meant to put a 4.5, but instead it jumped to 5 stars.

The writer of this novel is 那一只蚊子, the one who also wrote 海贼王之剑豪之心, a story about a ruthless battle-maniac who reincarnated into the world of One Piece and grew so much to become one who can slash worlds and realms into pieces, so strong that he can travel through realms on his own (there was a short paragraph mentioning he noticed the MC of this story came and left his realm (One Piece).

The writer is good at describing... more>> battles (5 stars), scenery (3 stars), grandiose scenes (4 stars), but are kind of weak at describing characters (2.5-3 stars) and how the characters interact (1.5 stars), though he can come up with good schemes and tricky situations.

Same as his first work, the MC is also one who's good with a blade (yes, like a Katana, or should I say exactly a Katana). He is the ultimate blade user you can imagine exist, one with mind, body and technique (心 - 体 - 技) in harmony. In other words, he is well-developed in all aspects possible for a blade user and leave no weakness untouched. The writer throw in "mage slayer", "alchemist" and "follower" as an added bonus to widen the utility range, and we have an invincible swordsman.

If you're a fan of martial arts and quick wits during battle, or one who like to use sword saint class in D&D, you would love this novel. If you're into flashy ultimate moves like Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, Rance Slash... to save the day, you'll hate this novel.

PS: After some trials and errors, the MC evolved and became one fearful schemer as well, and that is a nice (and rare) change to see. Most Chinese web novel don't show any change in the MC's personality and his way to do things from the beginning to the end, you know? <<less

EDIT:
CH800+ = 2 STARS
It became annoying here so I dropped it. Why? Because;
1.) he's really op but everytime he came to new world there are same level as him or just lower but there's not... more>> much a gap
2.) HE KEEPS COMPLAINING ABOUT HIS LUCK WHEN EVERY TIME HE GETS HIGHER TIER TREASURE BOX HE GETS HIGH TIER ITEMS LIKE WTF
3.) "KILL! KILL! KILL!" come on the MC just keeps on killing and his skills are lame, the author just wants to explain how awesome his damage is because of true damage+causes mana burn ugh I hate this now. <<less
