‘Seven Days, Seven Nights’. Initially, he had thought it was forbidden due to explicit rated contents (er*tica). In order to survive, he behaved so unrestrained he was basically flying. Later — I’ve already flown out of the sky and only now you tell me it’s an ‘unlimited flow’ horror novel?!

once the hosts all begin targeting the MC. The story began to get rather irritating I lost my admittedly limited patience more than once.

[collapse]

on top of that, the ending seriously gave me the creeps.
Spoiler

simply accepting the false "perfect" reality created for them and docilely re-entering the illusion so long as they get to keep their memories and each other. It made my skin crawl. I know for some people it's the perfect end but for me, it was the creepiest part of the whole story; no matter how bad it is, reality is always preferable to illusion.

It reminded me of the first matrix movie where the traitor was so willing to go back in the simulation even if it meant he was nothing more than an unknowing battery.

[collapse]

it's entirely possible that I missed a lot of nuance, given I read this through MTL so I am more than willing to reread and reevaluate after the translation is finished.

as of now, my rating was around 3.5. <<less

Immediately after the story started, we were given a mystery regarding the story.

A few months or year before, everyone in the world knew about a book called SEVEN DAYS SEVEN NIGHT, and how it was banned because it's very explicit and gory in details that there are people that's affected to it and fell into depression. However, as we dug further into the story, we can realized that no one, no one ever read the content of the book. That everything is just a rumor that somebody heard from someone... more>> else. Of course we know that Seven Days, Seven Nights is the game, but what's the purpose, and why it appeared in the world and people's mind like that stays as a mystery.

At the same time, we were introduced to an MC who was apathetic. The MC life apparently is also surrounded by mystery.
Spoiler

His parents died by accident leaving him alone, yet he didn't really feel anything. More than that, his parent also left quite a sizeable sum of money for him so he didn't have to struggle in life. It was left for him alone. Weird thing is, none of his relatives even wanted to touch a little bit of the money. All they give is a bit of sympathy for him because he was left alone, and that's it. This led the MC to believe that his memory is fake, that his life is fake because people aren't reacting to logical arrangement.

MC was pulled into the game right after he met his best friend, a girl name Zhu Yun that's running away from her home. No one knows what happen to her, but as we got further into the story, the MC and ML take a guess that Zhu Yun is a

.

As of Chapter 100, the story is filled with comedic undertone, with more deadpan humor that's quite funny in my opinion.
Spoiler

The romance is quite slow, as the MC didn't realize that he fell in love with someone and think that it's an arrangement from the Host that he need to be careful of.

It's quite fresh in my opinion. Good for reading.

Edit: Complete.

It finally got explained near the end. In short the world they're living in is a place created by the game, it's called Seven Days Seven Nights. The people are real, they're the people who wanted to leave their world because of reasons. Their original world is the world in the game, so in short its a real world while their real world is fake. The purpose of the game is to create a perfect world, so it learns from these humans by letting them play their game. Over time, they will encounter an instance in their home world, and they will got their memories back of their original life. If they survived that world (because there's a huge chance they'll die when they encounter this world) they can have two choices, which is to go to the perfect world (the world they lived in now) and have their memories replaced so they won't know anything about the game, and they'll leave the game, or two is to go back to their original world and live back as the native. This is what happen to Su Er. He managed to overcame his original world and live in perfect world but with his seat mate help he comeback to the gamr world.

I wish to read the translated version. Many terms is lost in goggle translate, but I can tell that this is really funny. <<less

The MC has emotional impairment (apathetic/indifferent) due to his family's accident. So some of his practical actions are a little funny. However, those scenes are not so hilarious probably due to how it is written. Unsure if will drop

He transmigrated into a horror book, and misunderstood his classmates when she mentioned that the book was "explicit" since it didn't necessarily mean H. So whenever he was in game he tried to seduce the host (boss). Actually not really seduce since he wass apathetic rather he did ambiguous actions. Liking this so far.

The concept is interesting, though I'm actually not 100% sure if it was clearly explained WHY they have to go through these games (like what do they gain from it? Was it explained or did I miss it by reading too fast?).

MC is hilarious and he thinks outside of the box. He joins an "organisation" or team and so it goes into a game scenario each time. It's mainly plot based with little erm romance. In fact there's none up to the point where I'm reading.

But for... more>> those curious about who is ML, based on chapter titles, I can guess it's

his team mate JL? Who's like the boss of the team. I was actually a little disappointed because I thought it was going to be the host hahaha. Well, main CP romance is really NOT the focus in the book so don't go reading this book looking for that like you would with other similarly themed books.

But overall a nice interesting take on this genre of horror as the cases are quite fresh and the way MC goes about them are funny and innovative. <<less

The overall story is 4.5.
The creativity and chaos are 10/10 😂 It's a fun read and I enjoyed it a lot.

Out of all the novels I've read so far, this novel has the most chaotic/plot destructive MC ever. However, he's not brainless, but actually smart and cautious. It's just that his brain functions differently, hence his way of thinking and doing things are always unexpected and hilarious. His character is very fun and refreshing! I don't think I'll like him at first, but as it turns out, I do... more>> like him a lot.

As for the novel, the writing is good, the plot is fun, lively, and amusing, the length and the rhythm of each copies, are also very good; compact and not too lengthy. In the meantime, the progress towards the ending, whether it's the copies or the main plot, are fun and not too abrupt.

The only thing I like less in this story is probably the ML. Frankly speaking, by the last 2-3 copies, I still doubt whether he's really the ML, since there's no chemistry between him and MC at all. I don't see any spark between them, yet suddenly they are in love (although after that, they're kind of cute together, I still feel like it's unreal.)
Spoiler

Originally, I thought the ML will be one of the host to be honest. Lol Considering MC's personality, I personally think the host might suits him better 😂, and I really like MC's children, little claymen and little ghost king. They're so funny and cute! I really wish there are more extras about them.

[collapse]
oh, and there's nothing erot*c in this story at all. What fly? I know the MC is supposed to be unrestraint and I expected it to be in a more erot*c way!? Yet there is none of that!? None!? The synopsis is misleading! I should've deduct more point. <<less

I'm not going to MTL any novel that has more than 100 chapter anymore... (つ﹏⊂) this was torture!!! (PД`q。) ·。'゜

Without spoilers, I wont even understand half of it. I get the first half of the story. I get more confused with the rest of the story. Without spoilers I'm sure I would go "who? Wha... Wait-what? WHAT?!!"

Sure it's readable MTL. But apparently my brain can't handle hundreds MTL chapters so I read this as if I was reading a Scribbles witten by Toddlers in second Language.

Anyway, beside my struggles, here's... more>> the real reviews :

It's a One Man Show. Our MC truly carry the story on his Shoulder! He's not OP, but he sure act like a Daredevil!!!

His mindset is based on the knowledge he heard about the Seven Days Seven Nights novel itself. The novel was known to be Darling and Crossing many Boundaries, so our MC is not afraid crossing boundaries. Of course all within calculation and his strength.

ML feels like a Side character in this novel. Though he is an Important character. He's no OP, but have lot of experience too as a Captain of their team. And even if he comment MC's crazy ideas, most of it he will help MC do what he want and need to do to get more clue and clear mission. I remember thinking of him as a Handy man. Lol

The Romance... It's barely Romance! It's barely Romantic Sub-plot. It's a Late Romance type (I'm going to put the tag now). Literally no Romance in the main story.... Unless I missed it because the MTL... | (·_·) |·_·) |_·) |·) |)

Anyway I know this novel is good. Not perfect, but pretty good. I wish the MTL website include all the Extras though... I don't know what happen to the rest of extras. So I don't know the development of things that maybe happen between MC and ML or other characters. Except MC's 'children'. The MTL at least have the extra about them. And it's very good!

That's it. I don't know what to say. I just wish this novel get the translation it deserve!!! <<less

Chaotic MCs are always fun to read, and this author likes to write them. In a death game like most infinite flows, having a MC who manages to always come out on top and make everyone hate him creates a sense of relief and relaxation; a kind of invincibility buff, which makes for much more chill reading than the usual suffering and struggle.

The romance line isn't overly developed and takes a long time to show much signs (and we never even know if ... more>>

they ever actually progress beyond thinking about it and one stolen kiss.)

[collapse]

Keeping this in mind, the novel is still one of my favourites and all the characters are quite entertaining and the MC is very personable and smart without being too OP for logic. The background plot and twists are quite interesting as well, and the story has enough unique aspects to stand out in the genre. <<less

Spoiler

Reading the other reviews on here, it seems like I'm the only one with this problem but once I noticed it, I can't "unnotice" it 😭 I already accepted that the unlimited flow aspect of this novel would lose much of its edge due to MC's disgust to normalcy (w/c is the reason why I like him lol) but come on, do they have to remove the mystery solving part of it by giving us this all powerful, all knowing ML? I've lost count of how many times this ML found the answer before our MC even found the problem, and I'm not even halfway through. There are also instances where the solution is just spoonfed and the readers get no thrill whatsoever in trying to solve it. And, I hate how MC's limelight is just sort of obligatory at some point. The instances where ML is not in the game are the best, and we only have two so far, and by the looks of it, he would keep being the biggest lightbulb in the story ugh. I very much agree with the comments on the raw site saying it's better not to have this ML at all (for them it's mostly because their love line is very weak)

Edit: dropped. I can't anymore with ML's god assist. It's so frustrating to read ML arrive at the solution so "easily" no matter how embellished his experience is supposed to be. It just makes the story soooo BORING gahd.

[collapse]

I've read the author's other work and they're really good with comedy (史诗级客服 and 三流豪门逆袭路) which is why I'm trying to finish this one. Also currently reading: 银河第一可爱 which is freaking hilarious lmao <<less

This MC is really funny in that he has many non-mainstream ideas and unusual thinking style when it comes to solving these instances. As expected from this author, comedy/sand-sculpture is her specialty.

I mtl-ed this but I really wish I could read it in the original language – sigh at all the fun I've missed out on.

Romance is pitiful in this one, you need to scrutinize to detect it. 😆 It's a pretty enjoyable story nevertheless.
