Amazing, just amazing, 7/5.
Amusing unique main casts and side characters, a multitude of flavors of different types of experiences, whether it was funny, melancholic, somber, shock, awe, anguish, anxiety, or horror, the author seem to have covered all the areas at least once.
The plot makes sense, although a bit too quickly paced in the changes of logical development (which makes it a great re-read) emotional progression-wise, and the rough plot outline is super easy to keep up with.
There's a proper equilibrium of plot advancement, character progression, and relationship growth, it never felt lacking or boring.
At a first glance, you have an assemblé of very generic casts but there's a very defined original touch of the author there, so please be patient for at least a couple of chapters, you won't be disappointed!
I never felt I've been left out and had the door shut in my face in regards to the protagonist's relationship (which happens quite often when characters sleep with each other and have a sudden huge leap in the relationship progress or face a time skip where they get to intermingle privately on a resort or something) and their unconditional love, care and attention for each other as well as their transparent upfront conduct towards each other made me cheer for them with a 120%.

S/N: Amazing translation, however brace yourself for a bit sloppy towards the end with more common MTL errors like wrong pronouns and literal translations (she≠he, ash≠dust [as in dirt] general small stuff)

No wonder the ratings are so high. This one made me laugh so much, and I loved that both the ML and FL had so much color in their personalities. I enjoyed the fact that they were physically together through most of the story, which meant that progression of the story didn't have to leave one of the characters out (as most novels do).

Love it! Especially the interaction between MC and ML. The both are super op, the ML is considered a lunatic but a very cute one. MC is also hilarious and because trying to save herself, she had alot of ways to tease ML and later on her teasing and bantering with ML is were super sweet.
The 1st half is more on background building, politics, then middle to end alots of epic wars and wars. But of course there’s alots of sweet, fluffy crazy plot keeps you entertained. The side characters like Sang Family, You, Duan Ming and puppets are absolutely cute! There’s alots of going on, mysteries in the novel but I am glad it also have alot of focus their cute interaction growing love and being op. For me it’s very good read! Thank you

Super interesting at the start but I feel like it stagnates a lot during the latter part. Once they get together they regularly have s*x for dozens of chapters (like every few chapters there's a sentence or two implying they f*cked again) and the relationship doesn't change anymore. So their interactions for most of the second half follow the same formula and it's boring. First part was 5 stars but then I had to force myself to finish it. After the relationship confirmation the plot is then about killing the people who hurt ML to get revenge. My favourite novel of all time, I love the MC and the ML, both are so funny and precious and the plot feels very complete, everything comes full circle.

A wonderful read, I wish I could forget the novel so I could read it again for the first time!

ML is one of the craziest and sweetest out there and likes to stick to MC like glue. I'm surprised this series hasn't gained as much popularity as others in its genre. MC herself is very competent & worthy of the ML.

Translator is excellent as well.

This novel has got be be my favorite Chinese novel ever!! Both the plot and the characters are hilarious 😂 This is the craziest romance novel ever. Such weird and hilarious things happen. Take the MC's power for example it is so bizarre and kind of ugly lol but it is perfect for her. Its a really good story. There is no MC becoming dumber and dumber every chapter. Her brains remain the same the whole story. She makes very good decisions regarding emotions. The ML also recognizes his own probelem and the ML's problem isn't stretched out too much nor is it too short. All scenes in this novel play out naturally and romance isn't forced. It is not too short to feel like its forced nor too long to feel too dramatic.

This novel is different from what is suggested by its summary, and also different from the first impression of the first dozen or so chapters.

The first dozen or so chapters are about the transmigrated MC desperately using her acting skills just to barely survive. The ML is a dangerous threat to her and all "fluffy" scenes are just her desperately acting to save her life.

And then, as the MC acquires more power of her own, and as the ML's backstory is revealed so that you (and the MC) learn why... more>> he is the way he is and how he ticks, the novel begins to be something else entirely. It is a thrilling, fate-defying adventure story, with plenty of sense of humor, a great central romance, some fun military tactics and money-grubbing schemes (the entire ongoing monetary subplot is a delight) and a really fun side couple. I haven't yet seen how it plays out until the end but the story completely won me over. I really appreciate the balance between genuinely thrilling plot developments on the one hand and ridiculous character shenanigans on the other. Little touches like making the MC's power ridiculous, so that even as it grows more OP over time it's endearing. I love the entire main cast. I even love the villains, they are the exact right level of loathsome to be fun to hate and look forward to seeing them go down. <<less

Probably the best written story with a ML as a villain and the MC who transmigrated to save her life from being killed. The romance, the plot, even the s*upid s*x humor that is thrown in there feels natural.

It has this kind of twisted world where men and woman are all about climbing power, men seeing woman as nothing but conquest, and woman that sees men as powerful figures and are beautiful to be worthy as husbands. Of course not all are like this but the world building is so... more>> sore fascinating.

Even more so the side characters and main characters are also great. The author never justified ML villain ways. It is evil and that's that. But you do have to realize that this is a kind of abnormal love in a way because only the FL has the mental capability to be able to stay with ML and was able to come to love him without being told to like him by anyone. And if she wasnt like this the ML would probably never love and and continues to treat her as only a passing interest.

You can even tell she has mostly the upper relationship as ML has soft spot when it comes to her. They are pretty cute when the relationship became established. Eventually promised marriage for real.

That said the cultivation here is interesting. We kind have this elemental compability going on here and clans heritage bloodline skills. But the elemental prowess can manifest themselves to suit the users capability. I even like MC's cultivation skills as she has probably the most cheat like skills within the universe. <<less

Wow. I binge-read this for 2 days and I caught up.

I normally don't read cultivation stories because I get tired with all the real fighting involved. But this one is just to hilarious and so well-written. The plot is really great. It's like an onion that has a lot of layers. I also really like how the author explained how the original plot went and how the MC's presence change the course of the world.

The story is full of fluff and dog food but there are many really deep amd painfull moments. Many parts I just wanted to hug ML and tell him that it will be fine but we have FL for that. <<less

I skipped a lot

The conversation between the FMC and ML is interesting. The joke is real. I laughed several times.

Wow, the most annoying character is the Meng something Rou, piuh, her ending is best to describe her definition of life

The FMC's ex-husband is pitiful, fall for a beauty trap, not worth it for the supper classy FMC.

It's a fun read and the plot is interesting. The relationship between MC and ML is so cute and sweet. Wish I could see more of it.

To be honest this story at some point bought me to tears about how insecure a man can be one he sees his "mother" kill his father. It was honestly a nice way of showing how bad the outcomes are due to wrong or bad upbringing for a child as he grows and becomes man.

In a hall (party time), she ends up upsetting the ML (this time is the first time our ML & FL meet each other and also the first time of ogFL & ML meets) so he was about get her killed but soon a soldier, from ML side came in front & said that she is his long-lost sister & loses his life (ML doesn't kills the soldier, it is a rule that ML established, that if you want to protect a life you need to sacrifice yours in that person place) & ogFL doesn't even feel bad about that, was so annoying, & creepy at some point, as someone just died to protect you & you don't even care about that like duhh, you are at least expected to feel sorry.

Also FL isn't OP but have screws in her brain & knows what she is doing & how to tackle a situation. She uses her knowledge to protect herself and ML sometimes from the demons. I love her interactions with her brother especially the time when she mocked her brother for ordering her even though he is shorter than her in height & how ML loved that. ML interactions with Dung Ming is equally loving & nice. <<less

I haven't read a good web novel like this in awhile.

It is definitely going to be in my most favorite novels of all time list.

Sang Yuanyuan, an oscar-winning actress, transmigrated into a novel after her death and she comes in contact with the ultimate big villain, You Wuming and fights with her wits and courage to survive.

You Wuming was an yandere but he was also so so cute that I wanted to put my hands on him to rub him violently. This man is the ultimate combination of kawaii, tsundere,... more>> yandere and op male lead or should say, villain.

Sang Yuanyuan was my favorite kind of heroine. She was mature, witty and had her own agency, most of all. She had her own weight beside You Wuming.

Sang Yuanyuan was the 'sheath' to You Wuming's sword, literally and metaphorically.

These two fought together side by side. They had incredible chemistry. I loved this couple! They were the ultimate villain couple who fights against the "good guys" and fate to reach their HEA.

The world-building wasn't the best I've read but the author was able to pull me in. The various states of this xianxia cultivation world, Cloud Realm, were explored one by one with individual characteristics and quirks.

None of the important characters were totally good or totally bad. Even the most hated Huangfu Jun has my respect along with that bastard, og male lead, Han Shaoling.

And of course, Sang Yuanyuan and You Wuming both had incredible dynamics. I also want a Duan Ming of my own. The puppet was also so cute.

If you hate white lotus Mary Sue female leads and overbearing scum male leads, then this is a great novel for you. The author also shares this hatred and we stan💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻

Alright, I came in here expecting a fluffy slice of life feel good shallow face slapping novel, but oh was I wrong. This is an adventure packed somewhat angsty with Plot and so good explanation for transmigration but still REAL cute novel and don't forget the psychological tag because the psychological is psychologicaling! Actually the part I feel like most people would give up on would be the first half but as soon as you move to the serving part, the fluffy would increase though the action would not decrease.

The twists here are twisting! And you'd be in for A Lot of adventure so I suggest to read it when you're in a mood for action. As they're always in the move and fighting... not one single time for rest. The xianxia is xianxia-ing! I have to say this is one of my top favorite xianxia. Everything is interwoven perfectly!
