The MC transmigrated into a useless miss with a horrible reputation for being obsessed with the 9th prince. The villainess is someone who had rebirth and is seeking revenge and changing her ending from the last life. It's very typical transmigration story, some small face slapping, nothing too out of the ordinary.

ML is pretty good! He is quite black belly to his enemies and has a lot of potential, but the author kept the story very mellow without a lot of obstacles.

Half way through after their marriage, there were... Um... more>> quite a bit of smut lol. I was surprised.

Very decent and quick read if you don't have anything else. I'd give this a 4/5 but giving 5/5 to increase the 3.8 rating. <<less

I havent even reached the snu snu yet and I got bored. Take this comment as my own pov to not discourage new readers but if youve passed chap 50 will all that 'grandma' drama then good for you champ. Those were such a drag seriously, ive never encountered such a pitted mindset. Such empty brainless family fight that it felt like watching a shrew and a feeling smug but lucky idiot fight over money.

. Anyways the original FL of the story isn't better, shes painted like a total villian and just placed flags all iver herself. She got the ending that she wanted and the MC and our ML of the story got their HE by stating their story just begone and blah blah I skipped to the few chaps to the ending

Honestly, I didn't like the first few chapters. I kept getting confused on what's happening but after a while, I got familiar with the story and the plot started moving forward on a pretty good pace. Now, I look forward to reading this everyday.

The MC is a simple girl, she just wants to live a good life so she uses her unruly self to just do what she wants to do. She can stand up for herself and she challenges the bad people in her life head on.

The ML also... more>> just wants to live a good life so he tries his best to survive.

This is a light and fun read. <<less

This is actually a really good find for me, to people who are complaining about the MC not standing up for herself. Give it time! She does stand up for herself and its glorious! The romance is also fairly nice. You'll hate the original female lead though. I sure do. Neutral opinion about the father, it's a good read that I personally recommend.

Characters are really young in this so be forewarned.

The MC is transmigrated into a book into the body of an 11-year-old (yeeeeah) who is just about to be schemed against and paired up with the resident Capital Idiot. From that moment, she does her best to try and turn her life around and prevent her death from the novel. She comes across as rude and slightly immature but does have a little character growth. She ends up slightly more mature but still rude.

The ML is the resident Idiot. For the... more>> last 6-however (I don't recall his age being specified but he's at least older than the MC) years, he has pretended to be mentally daft. All of this to prevent his stepmother from killing him as she wants him out of the picture completely. He's the typical black-bellied character who is soft, but controlling, to the MC and a downright terror to others. He has found the MC interesting from their first meeting and gradually falls for her.

The story follows the MC's journey as she deals with a grandmother who absolutely loathes her, servants who are constantly treating her like she's not the legitimate daughter of a noble house, a moronic Prince who is led around by his d*ck and a two-faced reborn "friend" who develops from wanting to ruin her to wanting to kill her.

Her grandmother hated her mother because her mother was wealthy while the grandmother was not. This wonderful grandparent even spent the dowry that was supposed to belong to the MC and then acted surprised that she had to repay it.

The servants are all following the Grandmother (and the aunt from the Second Household) and treating the MC like she's less than dirt. Even orchestrating for the MC's shop to get attacked.

The Prince was who the original host was interested in but he only ever had eyes for the "friend". In fact, this guy goes out of his way to do whatever the "friend" wants until he learns that she tried to have his shadow guards assassinate the MC.

The reborn "friend" has lived through this life once before and had come back with the intention of saving her family from being framed for being traitors (and executed) but also wanted to punish the ones she believed was responsible. Which meant ruining/mu*dering the MC. This always backfires because of the involvement of the ML.

While there are events that happen, most of everything is neatly resolved by others. Which makes sense given the MC's age. The interactions between the ML and MC do feel appropriate for their ages (really, it's like the little kids tormenting one another when they have a crush on each other) but it does come across as a bit squicky when you realize the ML has romantic feelings for the MC. However, there is no intimacy between them until several years pass.

The reborn "friend" in this is the main antagonist. And she is dumb as a pile of bricks. She is hung up on one plot point from her previous life and dedicates this new life to that. There are moments where it seems like she is clever and a god-tier for manipulation but it's really because she knows future events.

The antagonist focuses solely on destroying the MC as a way to punish the MC's father. All this is because she believes that the MC's father framed her family for being spies. Turns out, her family really were traitors (her father in the first timeline and her uncle in the second) and she is the only survivor in both timelines. She just goes pretty insane and believes the MC is the cause of the second life's failing. Never mind the fact that she keeps doing s*upid shit.

There are some translation errors (such as wrong names and wrong pronouns) but otherwise, it's fairly easy to follow.

I enjoyed the story but would have liked to see a little bit more towards the end of the story because it just felt too rushed. The final chapter kind of feels like a "And they all lived happily ever after" kind of ending with a rather condensed ending for some of the secondary characters (while others just apparently disappeared into the ether as the story went on). <<less

It's not too bad. Well, if you can read through and overcome the annoyance of FL and ML trying to survive their intolerable family members and getting tangled in political/court intrigue due to the same.

identity reveal with the ML, which was just also lightly skimmed in the story./spoiler]. Their relationship was ok, the development was a little iffy and seemed to quickly shift from hate to like.

There were a lot of cannon fodder characters that fanned my annoyance flames in this story, there were also incredible plot loopholes that weren't addressed, like how can and illiterate person suddenly be able to read household and business account books without rousing any suspicion from others who know her?

The smut aspect was a surprising twist. Perhaps it was a selling point of the novel? It stands out against the Ancient China setting, not sure if in a good or bad way.

Some typo on the translation, but overall it was translated well. The novel was overall an ok time waster that I may probably not read again but still grateful to read once. <<less

Let's be honest - the ending is merged tightly. A large number of storylines and supporting characters are forgotten, abandoned and hung in the air. ML isn't even interesting, let alone sympathetic, FL could be interesting, but it doesn't even try to play by the rules of the world... not book, but society - and that completely turns her into a MarySue crap. The idea of ​​ML pretending to be ret*rded is really good... and s*upidly executed. It's so s*upid that it doesn't really affect the plot.
FL does NOT behave like an adult woman in a teenager's body, her behavior, in fact, is not much different from the behavior of the original. It seems that by changing the body, she left her brains in the past. Otherwise, I do not understand what she was guided by 80% of the time.
Suddenly, the younger brother of ML and his concubine pleased - I think, in the end, he will make her his wife.
Some kind of love line... none.
Again, this is a lousy ending. So much water to crumple up a story in one chapter is s*upid.
I read a lot. A lot and not only web novels. This story is going to the wastebasket. Of its advantages - a good translation. Many thanks to the translator.

6.9?/10 it's pretty entertaining with decent smut scenes.. However it was a little lacking in the transmigrated aspect as the FL barely use/apply any benefits/skills seeing how she came from the future.

This is neither great nor terrible. Just average. I think with transmigrations, we're used to seeing a badass, intelligent/op MC face slapping everyone. But here, the MC is not that intelligent. She muddles her way through things initially so its extremely frustrating to read. Sometimes she accepts the nonsense doled out to her, other times she smacks em back.. It can be very inconsistent. She is also very immature and acts before thinking. She gets better later if you're still reading by then.

The political intrigue is basic and we're just... more>> told most of what happens instead of reading the scene ("So and so happened", "countless days pass", "the Emperor did XYZ" etc). The "evil" characters are very typical and aren't very intelligent either. Their schemes are rudimentary and have no countermeasures, but I suppose that's the difficulty level we get considering our MC. The romance is cute.

What I did like though, is that not all female characters are nasty, insufferable bches. Some, the MC even has good relations with. She worked through a misunderstanding with one - was nice to see. I also liked how the Qi Feng sorted through his feelings. Translations were good.

In all, my advice is not to take the MC or plot too seriously. Don't expect much and its fine 3.5/5 <<less

I think this deserves more than four but not five stars.

The novel is great if you are interested in "I know I'm a Villainess but I'm not going to die" types of novel

Female lead is transmigrated into a cannon fodder and changes her fate falls in love and lives happily ever after

... more>> It is pretty good and has some "IN DEPTH" romance

The only downside in my opinion is that it is in a few parts a bit slow and makes me bored

Overall it is not the best, but it's good if you are into this stuff <<less

Well written and well translated, everyone is normal, no OPs or magical gold fingers which is a relief. In that sense, it'a good novel to enjoy. However, it is hugely imbalanced towards women of which there are dozens of characters in the first 50-60chapters alone and all of them are bickering and catfighting, engaging in endless wars of words.

Too much estrogen, not enough testosterone. It's suffocating.

to be honest I thought about dropping this series a lot as I was reading. mostly bc it was frustrating how the author would say so-and-so characters (MC's "loyal" maids and "doting" father and brother) would support her. but hong yu keeps questioning MC... it made me suspect that she was a disloyal planted spy for the longest time bc she kept undermining MC.

then MC's father and brother show up and they don't hinder her, but they don't help her, either. they say they believe her and then they don't... more>> and think she's acting out and would automatically believe other people first. saying one thing and doing another. it was really, really frustrating to see MC struggling on her own while saying she had "help" when she really didnt. in the end she had to do everything on her own, which would normally be good, but the contrast in capable characters ends up looking like lazy writing that makes MC become OP.

the author says that some characters shared similar struggles to MC, yet they don't believe she is struggling when she says she is. not only that, they trivialize her suffering (both past and present) with just a few sympathetic "you've had it hard" and nothing else. just like "thoughts and prayers" tweets after a tragedy but no actual actions taken.

i guess its just one of my biggest pet peeves to give credit where its NOT due. <<less

More of a 3.5 than 4, but I did enjoy it quite a bit, binged it over two days.

I don't agree with some of the harsher reviews, but I will say that yes the bad characters do get exhausting. I think what makes it more exhausting than other cnovels I've read is that the FL is very passive? Like she takes 3 times as long to deal with recurring problems IMO. Reading about her awful family may anger you to death and make you want to stop reading lol.

I did... more>> like how funny it was and how she ended up changing the whole trajectory of the novel. She started out as the cannon fodder and became the FL. The female lead ended up becoming the villain/cannon fodder. There's not a lot to complain about otherwise except that while the smut was good, I kept being thrown by this line: "he began kneading her globes into different shapes." Don't get me started on globes (better than bunnies I guess) but what are her breasts made out of? Silly putty? Balloon animals?? Lol. A lot of character threads kind of got dropped too. Like the 9th prince ends up marrying

The ending was pretty rushed as well, with the big bad dying off screen after being AWOL from the last chunk of the novel. That said, there was a lot of decent smut and I really enjoyed the novel overall. <<less

3.5 ☆ but I'm generous so

This novel is actually pretty okay. You just need to shut off your brain and if you enjoy nonsense dog blood then this is the novel for you. Dog blood is not the annoying dog blood 😂

Plot: Very interesting but author left a lot of plotholes or didn't have follow throughs on scenes. This could have been a 5 tho if author did a serious job.

Characters: FL and ML are a sweet couple. There's enough communication between the two for a loving and equal relationship.... more>> Character growth is soso and MCs come off 2D.

World building: Ngl I think it's genius that author wrote that the OG novel was inconsistent with the ancient era (OG FL had multiple lovers) and thus used this loophole to get away with MCs not acting appropriately and place setting not strict with the rules

Towards the end tho the author was quite in a rush where the main villain was just summarized in a paragraph lol

Anyways it's an okay read to spend the time if you don't want to read something that need your brain to churn <<less

I sincerely love reading this heartwarming and kind of romantic novel. I've read it twice.

💖💖 Love reading the relationship between Qi Zheng & Shen Zi Qiao. They started off as "enemies", but as time went by, Qi Zheng started falling in love with Shen Zi Qiao (he's never fallen in love with any women prior to meeting her) and luckily for him, she loves him as well.
Their personalities and background are different, yet, their age gap has no bearing in their cute daily interaction and relationship.

Though I hate reading the scheming in this story (especially her paternal grandma & 2nd aunt; the other transmigrated lady; noble women; his stepmom & half-siblings), on the other hand, it strengthens the bond and love between Qi Zheng & Shen Zi Qiao.

Shen Zi Qiao is also lucky to have her maternal family (her brother, grandparents and 1st & 3rd uncles/aunts) who support & love her as a person and her relationship with Qi Zheng.

I enjoyed this. The first few chapters are somewhat frustrating because FL seems to be a bit brainless, but later in the novel you can tell she's keeping her head low because she's not all knowing, which is good, you know flaws in a character and all that.

The ML is great. This dude is probably one of the better mls I've read abt. Loves the FL so much, listens and respects her-esp when she called out his forceful behaviour, that was rare but nice to see.

The last few chapters were... more>> a bit unnecessary I felt. But I also liked that it wasn't centered completely around the main villainess, she kinda just faded off the background while we were introduced to a new villainess. The ending felt a bit rushed, as there were a few parts that could've more elaboration to better end it.

All in all, a solid good read that got me up till 2am to finish this in a day and write a review hehe <<less

just wanna say u guys not to give up and just continue to read and understand, its making me so mad how many people in the comments are saying its not worth it and giving low ratings like for god sake give some time for the poor FL to process everything atleast and in the beginning she didnt take revenge/justice for herself because she is not the og FL who went through the schemes and she had no idea who was who and what all happen (she prolly just... more>> remembers a few fragments of the book since she skipped a lot and read it for the reverse harem). And basically no romance till u reach ch 100 but it was honestly not that boring and I like how she is not like other transmigrated characters where they are super smart and amazing just beacause they are from the modern world. A bit confused because irl shes 18+ since she said she was in college but she still behaves and thinks like a 13 year old. I really like the ML and love their snu-snu scene. I understand why he pretended to be a fool but a decade is a bit to much and for that I hate the dumb duke, both the leads have shitty dads, so glad that their brothers get a happy ending. I felt so mad and angry when his brothers wife lost their child and he finally realised that fighting for the heir position is not worth it. Ugh the og FL of the novel is so annoying. THE ending of the novel was really good and I was satisfied but a bit sad to say bye to the characters, I wish there was more side storys of what happened to their brothers, crown prince or their kid. <<less

I give 3.5 ⭐ for this novel. So many people are giving it full 5star but I think it doesn't deserve that high but not that low 2star either. If you have free time than you can read this novel. MC is not that cool and brilliant but can act smart when other tries to frame her. I liked her cuteness, like how easily she can cry when she felt touched by her loved ones goodwill towards her. I hate how in most of the historical c novels MCs act... more>> tough like they have no feeling, so I liked this mc's innocent cute side but other than that in other aspect there is nothing much special about her, she is too blunt. I liked Ml, he was really sweet to MC. This novel could have been better but author really missed out so many details 😒. Author messed so many things, like it was said that FL from novel only remember her past life where she had a bad ending so she was reborn, while our MC read in actually novel that after FL rebirth she changed her life and at the end she became the empress. But later in the novel its said that FL remembers her life when she became empress, seducing crown prince, this doesn't make sense she should remember her past life with bad ending not her present life where she changed her fate after rebirth. But her this fate changed after our MC transmigrated into the novel🤯. So yeah this really confused me😩. There is so many things author left out without explanation. Although I am greatful to translator for his/her hard work but there were so many mistake and misplaced names and sentences, it really irritated me at some point when these mistakes repeated many times till the end😏. Villains are too much infuriating they can make your blood pressure high, mostly grandmother and FL b*tch. But overall I enjoyed this novel. <<less

I must say that this novel is really nice. Though I got bored at the first chapters and almost dropped it but im glad that I continued 😭 its really nice super. I love the female lead and the plot and story too is superb! I love it 5 starrsss hahaha
