Game designer Zhu Yao accidentally gets transmigrated into a new xianxia VR game that is currently in development. a 3/5. The protagonist, from my point of view, is a soft person. If someone kills you twice, they want to kill your teacher and cause you suffering. It doesn't matter what type of relationship you've had before, you kill him. It's like your brother asking you to borrow money 4 times and never giving it back but you still continue lending him when he asks. The time jumps are complicated to follow to the point that I didn't even know where I was. The crop is normal, but it... more>> still doesn't show any of the effort that I look for in a novel. After creating one of the best weapons, work skills (alchemy, talisms, forging, etc.) are not mentioned again in more than 50 chapters. And adding to that many secondary characters were forgotten. I think that adding everything together I would give it a 2/5 but I give it a 3/5 because it relieves me of boredom. <<less

In the beginning, I'm impressed with this series because of the translation quality itself. The website that hosted the translation and the translator both need to be applauded for its lack of adversitements, easy to read font and friendly layout.

THe story itself is quite good, even though there are some questions that baffled me, but they dont diminish the quality of the story idea itself. I like that the main FC has to revive with different bodies and/or scenarios ... more>>

If there are any cons, it will be the little to none character development. And because there are too many scenarios, there are a lot of forgotten characters

I. LOVE. THIS. NOVEL. This novel is absolutely hilarious with interesting game elements (& a system with a wonderful sense of humour, sorry MC, I’m laughing at your expense), Xianxia cliches done really well without being too wordy or overly complicated. The character is sorta Mary Sue-ish but I mean come on, what do you expect from a character that literally cannot permanently die and has an OP system helping her do quests plus, I’m pretty sure the main purpose of this genre is comedy, not action so... more>> it’s ok that she’s Mary Sue-ish.

I am very happy the MC ended up with the master, their dynamic is hilarious, she’s constantly dying and he’s constantly trying to keep her alive and questioning why his disciple keeps dying yet not dying. Also, his lack of common sense amuses me, it’s like if you ask him where his common sense went he’d be like “what’s that? Can you eat it?” Then the MC would be like “why am I with him? Oh right because of his pretty face/power/strength.”

Conclusion: this is a great for a casual read. And has all my favourite xianxia cliches wrapped up in a nice bundle of comedy. <<less

This is the kind of novel that you either love or hate, find hilarious or very irritating. So as you can see by my star points it was hilarious for me and I loved it😍😍😍😍🤣🤣🤣

I definitely recommend this novel; witty FL, cute and funny scenes and a prodigious but sometimes slow witted and cute ML.

Though it's a bit dragging, in no way is it a waste of time. I especially love the many life teaching inspirational paragraphs about human behavior and such - makes one stop and think about life and oneself.

The premise is excellent, and some of the arcs are really good, but overall, I can't stand the pacing. I enjoy slow novels, but this just doesn't feel like it's going anywhere, even as the reader learns more about the MC's role and Realmspirit with each arc.

Gahhhh... A great romantic comedy novel. The plot runs so smoothly and the ML is so endearing. You too will fall in love with him.

I wish there were more.. ???

I saw rave reviews of this novel everywhere so I decided to try it out. I failed, twice. The storyline doesn't develop much even after 95 chapters, there's literally no change to the ML and Fl's relationship up to then in my opinion. The ML is a dense, foggey, old man (at least the impression I get from his character). The development is way too slow, and the comedic elements aint that great either.

I love it!

Good translator and good author.

Out of all the quick transmigration stories, I like it the best (for now).

MC is not s*upid, not too smart, not to bossy, and quite real.

ML is... no comment. Too hard to understand his char. I dont really get it.

Second ML is... dark.

System is... fine.

So basicly I only like the FL. Her character is lively and not easy to give up. I like how she tries to finish every challenges and not too cheesy love story with ML. I highly recommend it

it's an overall interesting read. the MC did dies a lot and get reincarnated a lot as different none human things. I rlly like the humor which I hardly ever bothered with for most books.

translation? it's obvious that the translator is unfamiliar with the xianxia genre with her using all types of complicated terms that ur usually won't find or won't even think of using. Like whats makes her think "Ling GEN" is translated as spirit VEIN instead of root. they have nothing to do with each other if u... more>> would search up the word vein on google. she also doesn't explain and somethings mistranslated some term Chinese terms. she does it on other stuff too. the mistranslation. when the MC is a boy the translator writes her name as (or his at that point) Soi Sauz I couldn't help but think she was fooling around....

Fantastic story and translation, A must read story. 1st time that a translation that written so smoothly. And the story and plot is both funny, fluffy and poignant. And what’s more it’s not all too heavy but a very engaging flow of plot scenes and growth of the characters. Just love it. Tq

A REALLY good quick transmigration-esque story. The reason I add "esque" is that it's original in the sense that every life the MC transmigrates into exists in the same big world. It makes it really interesting and a great way to introduce complexity.

It takes a little while before the greatness of this story reveals itself, but after it does it has the power to hook. Better than all the other (BG) stories I've read so far in its genre (plug for Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil because that's... more>> an actual masterpiece story *whispers* althoughitsBL). <<less

Waited for quite a while before starting this novel and after reading the good reviews, I finally started it! I have no regrets at all, thoroughly enjoying myself with the story and the plotline. Though there are certain plotholes I wished it was explained a bit better but the story keeps you interested and is definitely a story for you if you like incarnations, transmigrations, good humor and the xianxia genre. Everything is a good mix and it's a story that really pulls on your heart strings.

My favorite arc must... more>> be the one with the Phoenixes dear readers do look forward to that arc as it's truely my most favorite one.

Aside all this, it really touches on good subjects and also questions things centered around beleifs and morals and how society and the world works! Very good!

Apparently there is a live adaptation of it, but of very low budget, don't know yet if I'll give it a try but if a high budget and good cast with producers anf staff members were to film this, wow, it would be just epic and full of adventures and laughter!

There is also a manhwa but I have not found that in English yet, someone who has links or sources to find it and read it? :) Thank you! <<less

After completing it I can confidently say that it’s one of the most consistent novels I’ve read. The story flows nicely with a well timed pace and there was never a point in the story where I was annoyed by the incongrueties found in many other novels, such as nonsensical character or plot development. I especially liked how well conflict was resolved in the story, in a realistic and moral manner. It’s very funny, although many jokes get overused later on. A minority of the jokes have anti-gay themes, but... more>> if you don’t mind and overlook them it’s very well written comedy.

The overused jokes were the main reason I gave a 4 star rating, but in terms of plot and characters I would give a solid 5 stars. If not for the repetitiveness I would give the comedy 5 stars too. <<less

Non-stop fun! This novel has enjoyable characters, hilarious upheavals, and a mysterious hidden plot that runs through all of the "lives." Even though the MC acquires some pretty fancy moves near the beginning of the story, these don't necessarily make her OP. The delight of each arc is watching her plug through the information she has and overcome obstacles to save each world from... itself. I can almost hear her yelling [why u no be safe?!] The slow romance is abetted by her own refreshing eagerness to get it on... more>> with her loved one. Although I understand criticisms that the story repeats a lot, I found each rebirth an interesting puzzle to figure out. <<less
