Wen Jiexi: What?! Will I no longer be able to live my life freely again?!!

Mother with an alarmed expression: My frail daughter is actually trying to do the most sit-ups possible?!

Father made a strange face: My delicate daughter ran on the treadmill for an hour?!

Brother’s expression crumbled: Can anyone tell him how his cute little sister who is as precious as a delicate white flower…was actually able to use one punch to break a sandbag and smash a hole through the wall!!!

Through a series of unexpected circumstances, she was pulled into the entertainment industry and became a female martial artist!

Female Fan: Our darling Wen is the most awesome! She’s even more handsome than a man!

Male Fan: The girls today are so domineering! To be able to throw away all of one’s shame, I want that feeling too!

The frozen expression after being hugged by the princess from behind: …..

Wen Jiexi held up a hand: No, no, no! It’s not like that!

Good beginning (4.5/5), very boring and weird mid (2.5/5) and absolutely tr*sh end (1/5).

Overall a waste of time, because even if it starts off well you're just gonna leave with a bitter taste in your mouth and a feeling of regret at the end.

Based on the translated chapters, I would rate this a 4/5 or 4.5/5. However, I MTL'd the rest and:

Spoiler

I feel like it goes off the rails pretty quickly. There's a variety show arc that takes up a massive fraction of the total chapters, honestly it's almost shocking how much of this novel is spent on that variety show. The system stuff also fades into the background and by the time the novel ends, our MC isn't even close to letting the system ghost become a human. This isn't even really discussed. She doesn't even get the advanced acting skill book. However, once the variety show arc is over, the final part of the novel picks up and becomes pretty fun again. The ending gets really dark and weird, however, with the primary antagonist (the Fang dude) kidnapping the FML (Su) and carving his name into her abdomen with a scalpel. Wtf? Just feels insanely out of place in this pretty fluffy novel.

This series is lovely and the translation is very easy to follow. It's quite enjoyable, if a bit cliche. Parts of it don't quite follow normal logic of actual real-world interactions, but those can be forgiven for the excessive fluffy feelings this invokes.

A magic system connects to a sickly girl, restores her beyond normal health to the point she's partially superhuman, and then assigns her missions to earn points. What these points will be used to 'purchase' hasn't been shown as of Chapter 10.

Her family is extremely wealthy, or at... more>> least some parody of a wealthy family, but also extremely close and loving. There seems to be little to no family drama in the foreseeable future.

Downsides:

People don't react the way any normal human would. The most glaring example happens in the first few chapters-

Spoiler

when the girl's family just accept that she turned from frail and sickly into, essentially, a superhuman overnight. They have a family doctor look at her and that's about it. Imagine if this happened in the real world? There would be a litany of tests, studies, and investigations among other things. This would literally make headlines.

I suppose you can excuse such things with 'The family is rich and powerful and can hide it'. That is all too convenient, and it doesn't really follow logic when—in the following chapters—the girl returns to her school and shows off her superhuman physical prowess further. This time completely in the public eye when it was on record that she was extremely weak before.

Conclusion:

Don't take this fiction too seriously when reading it. It's a good popcorn fiction, something meant to be enjoyed for the fluffy feelings it brings. I'm rating it 5/5, but that's rating it for this factor alone. As a standalone fiction it's more like a 3.5/5

The translation is 5/5. Well structured, easy to follow, and done in proper English. <<less

I'm just going to put this out there, don't expect anything heavy/plot fulfilling here. This novel is basically just for laughs and a bunch of comedy. It's in the tags, it's in the summary, heck it's in the fricking title. I mean, come on, who takes a novel with a title like that seriously? In Chinese literature, this is what we call a 爽文 which is basically just a wish-fulfillment kind of novel. Some examples are your typical cultivation novels, your tropey heteros*xual romance (looking at you Eternal Love), and... more>> your greasy transmigration novels. So if you're looking for something more mature and well-developed, please move on and go read something else. (The only reason it has a mature tag is due to some gore/smut and not because the actual story is mature.) I just came here for some silly comedy and laughs to pass the time, expecting outlandish storylines and mostly static characters, and that is exactly what I got. So I gave the novel a bit of a high rating just for that, at least it delivered what I expected.

However, a big reason I am giving this a 5/5 is because of the translation quality. I've read plenty of tr*shy Yuri novels with similar bland premises and comedy (and being the bored tr*sh I am, I will still read them even if they are bland) but I had to drop them in the end because of the bad grammar or incomplete sentences. The TL for this novel is pretty good and I enjoyed their other novel translations as well (especially the Civil Affairs Bureau one) so I could at least sit through the nonsensical plot w/o my head aching.

Finally, the author is known for being a mixed bag. I've read virtually all their works (both translated and untranslated) and she tends to always have the same pattern: starts off strong, loses steam, and then rushed ending. Most of the second half for all of her novels can basically be ignored. This is due to the author dragging things out when she could've ended around 20-40 chapters in. It is what it is, and I've already expected it going in. I'm leaving this part in my review to tell you, dear reader, to expect it too and not be "surprised" by it.

Tl;dr: It's just meh comedy with some wlw couples to pass the time with. Looking for deep sh*t or good romance? -≫ look somewhere else <<less

    • Beginning is good, tricks people want to read more. (5/5)
    • Middle half honestly couldn't

understand what's going on, plot become mess specially wild cat vs big dog part

      (2/5)
    • In Last Half it just This novel doesn't make any sense, System gave MC super power for mission, but missions only benefit for MC, then what about system what will gain system from this doesn't make any sense missions
    • Spent more than 30 chapter just mere Variety show (6-7 day events) Like why
    • Relationship between MC and FL seems like too rushed, forced. (Only focused their looks, she is too beautiful&she is so cute that's why I love her something like that)
    • I like picturing each character based on description sometimes Author's writing confuses ,

in beginning MC was Smart, Feminine, Gentle type

She even ranked (test result) 2nd in her department, but don't act like smart or gentle sometimes too dumb, don't have common sense (well it might be because MC raised in sheltered, but come ooon you're living 21th century and people have smart phone just search something you don't know MC)
    • Being dense is one thing, I read many novels that have dense MC, but this MC's dense 10000000 times worse.

The MC has been sheltered by her family so much that she doesn't know that her brother is the president of the biggest acting agency. She contacts a system that is utterly useless in helping her complete missions but is still so cute that it's fine. If she doesn't complete all her missions she's going to transform into a weak and sickly super saiyan. So far the FL hasn't shown up much but she pairs perfectly with the MC.

Incredibly trope heavy and the constant “funny” internal reactions get old very quickly. That doesn’t stop them from appearing in significant quantities practically every chapter, including in places where the tonal dissonance is incredible. ... more>>
Spoiler

A serial killer is described performing a vivisection on a man in a room full of jars with body parts and dismembered corpses. Later, there’s the one line “gag” where he sneezes when someone is talking about him. Given the wealth of sneezing on display, there must be some mysterious allergen spread across China.

Overall, it has some fun moments but comes off as immature and incredibly derivative. Maybe I’m crazy for expecting anything more than regurgitated tropes from the scenario presented. More realistically I’m probably too old for this... <<less

3.5/5

Plenty of fluffy moments, but I think what made this story special at the beginning was the system. If done well I believe this could've just been a fun story about a girl who does amazing sh*t and falls in love with the FL. However after like the first 40 chapters I feel like the author completely forgets about that and got lost by continuously forcing the plot between the MC, FL, and whatever bullsh*t 'villain' at the time. Overall, some good moments but it was very rushed and... more>> the romance didn't hit the spot for me. <<less

Actually, the story had a promising start. There was a weak-to-strong thing going on after the female lead had gotten her system. There were plenty of stuff to look forward to. For example, gaining points through her exercise routine and doing missions, swapping the points for martial art skill books and so on and so forth.

Because her system was action-oriented, the missions she received tended to be the same as well. At the beginning, they mainly involved exercising, saving helpless people from danger and beating up baddies. Yep, I remember... more>> thinking to myself that this was shaping up to be a decent superhero novel.

I liked the way she surprised the people around her with her super strength and fighting ability. There's this gap moe thing going on.

And then the variety show arc came up and I didn't think I was reading the same story anymore. A lot of actors running around doing variety show stunts and what not. But where was the System? Where were the missions? What happened to the points she had earned so far? Bye bye.

That arc lasted for a huge chunk of the novel and there was also the ongoing yuri romance between the female lead and another actress. Together, they derailed the budding superhero storyline and turned it into something really boring.

Honestly, I don't mind yuri or showbiz stories. I just don't like it when they derail the main plot. In this instance, I truly think that the main plot should revolve around the Exercise System and its missions. <<less

Honestly, I feel the only appealing part of this story is the life of MC. How she came from a sheltered child with sickness to someone who can mingle within the society. That too I think was done way quickly and way comedic tone than it should have.

As for the FL, even if you replaced her with a ML in there, it wouldn't have changed the story in any significant way. Seriously, she being domineering is one thing. In fact I appreciate it.

Make no mistake! There is a difference between... more>> lack of feminine qualitites and none there to speak of. For the former, we already have an explicit name for it, which is, Tomboy-ish nature. As for the latter, it's not a female to speak of. It's just a guy in woman's body. Basically, it's genderbent. I wouldn't have complanied if there was a genderbend tag for this novel, but there isn't and that's the problem

In short, you don't get that yuri vibe from the story at all, but a guy faking to be a girl which this case is not and that makes it so much worse. So, it's a no-go for those who is looking for genuine yuri stories.

The reason I bought myself to read 90 chapters is because, I was hoping to see some unique characteristics/personality exclusive to woman from the FL after she and the MC opened up to each other. But, it just doesn't happen. <<less

Cute story with a whole lot of fluff. Like others have said, the beginning is great but the plot just slowly goes downhill from there. There's still plenty of fluff throughout the whole story though so if you're in it for that, you're golden. As long as you don't take this story too seriously, I think you'll enjoy it a lot.

I'm being lenient since this was my first yuri novel and I was pretty satisfied with it it's been a few months since i've read it so I can't be properly critical but if you like fluffy stuff then this is for you it takes a dozen chapters for the MC and FL to finally meet but the story is written out well enough that I didn't get impatient I read 11 chapters translated here and the rest I Mtl'd it's pretty slow burn there aren't many interactions between the... more>> MC and FL in the beginning until the mid section
Spoiler

and that acting thing which I kinda skimped over because I wasn't interested in the "drama plot" MC is dense af which I didn't mind for this novel since she was a pretty sheltered child, you can say she basically becomes "the dumb jock" but the ending part took a weird turn into a whole other genre which I didn't expect and it seemed kind of out of place for this novel too, so basically they get lured into some abandoned theme park if I remember correctly and there's a bunch of wild cats that are willing to kill them. Later on we find out the person who lured them there is some guy who is obsessed over FL (he is mentioned before in the novel during the mid section) and he basically kidnaps her and the MC basically goes hulk mode to save her I guess the author wanted to cultivate their love??? Which wasn't needed??

I gave this one 5 stars by mistakes, it was supposed to be 2 or 3.

The beginning was good, but it went of the rails in the middle, and the end was just straigh up batsh*t insane. I was really considering giving this 1 star, but I feel that 2.5 is the fairest assessment, since you can still enjoy this if you just read this with your brain turned off (which I did)

Starts off good but once the tv reality Show arc begins it goes downhill fast and becomes just terrible imo.

I don't know what the author smoked when he wrote the last 50 chapters, it's all over the place and plain strange. I honestly would have not read this if I knew how bad the second half is.

It was pretty cute in the beginning and altogether too I guess.

Spoiler

The variety show part where the Fangs trick them into going to a haunted amus**ent part and all the cat killing was pretty weird. Plus, the MC is shown too dumb even if I consider that she was sheltered. She searched for the Xiangle (or whatever it's name is) on the internet but she didn't find out who the President of the company is? Even her friend who's her assistant doesn't know.
