The author is an amateur and she did admit the fact (she's a high schooler), she realized her words/story are childish that after some Japanese readers told her about it she revised the earlier part of her story, so read it with that in mind. Well, in conclusion it's raw and unpolished. She relied heavily on template events used in isekai genre, after that he become OP with time skip. Aside from the main character and the childhood friend neechan the other characters are not developed at all, even the maid vampire who have been with the MC for around 60 chapters are not developed from her only traits which is a yandere. You don't have to worry skipping the heroes side chapters, nothing detrimental to the main story and they are rather boring. Newer characters also doesn't help much,
Spoiler

a battle maniac masochist elf who likes strong enemies, it's one trick pony character. Once the gap between normal taciturn into masochist is known, there's not much to explore in her character.

[collapse]

The most interesting character is the neechan, both the MC and her having quite interesting past (to be honest the past arc are the best story that the author managed to pull, and if she wrote that as a separate story it's rather decent compared to the main story line), too bad the author didn't utilize her more and instead made the MC stuck with the vampire girl.

Edit (1/5/2018) :

I originally gave this 1 star, but in consideration of the author's age when writing this I've decided to add on an extra star just because. Original Review:

The overall concept is fine, but the author's writing style is horrendous. The story is written in a first-person narrative, which immensely backfires, because the author tries to cram in various jokes (that the MC is telling himself in his thoughts) during life-and-death situations, or in the middle of conversations (the jokes never even come close to being funny). The MC... more>> will play the roles of both boke and tsukkomi simultaneously in his thoughts and his mind will wander off on various tangents while the other characters are seriously trying to converse with him. Moreover, the MC tsukkomis everything, including mundane everyday occurrences like getting a haircut when his hair is so long that it covers his eyes, or when a girl lets her hair down. What is he retorting to exactly?? And somehow just seeing a beautiful girl or getting slapped lightly by a girl will knock him unconscious.

In the end, I think the author was trying to be humorous, but it was an epic fail. I think comic relief is important, but this series tried too hard to the point that nothing in it can be taken seriously. <<less

The author just needs a bit more experience. Apparently a high schooler when writing this? I am sure with time they will produce something good because there were parts about this that I actually somewhat enjoyed, but I could not ever look the fact that he had all these powers but never really used them.

It's unbelievably bad.

No joking here, the writing is horrendous. I'm at chapter 14, and I can tell that it's pretty bad. The MC was bad in the way that he's all over the place, has OP powers but doesn't use them, becomes attached to a maid that was serving him for MERE HOURS, and panics far too frequently.

Then comes the others. The maid got attracted to him because of his eyes and appearance, and the goddess turned from being gaudy to suddenly nice. It was too sudden that they changed... more>> their attitudes to him, even though they practically just met. The princess was obviously psycho, but NONE of the students and the teacher questioned her about it when she was talking about mu*derING A KING OF ANOTHER NATION. What the hell is that writing?!

Oh yeah, I forgot about it, but thanks to a review that said it, I remembered. He also got a sudden power-up at chapter 13-11, which was the final straw and what made me drop the story. There's no reason for him to get the power-up. He got tr*shed by a mob, he deserved that because he was being an idiot. But instead of a punishment, he gets a crutch to compensate for his 'weakness'. He's already got cheats, why would you make him even more overpowered?! Idiocy can't be cured with power! You'd just make the already overpowered idiot into an even more overpowered one!

The editing is horrendous as well, it's as if there was no editors at all. It was a challenge to read the story while trying to understand what the story was trying to say.

This is the first time I've reviewed something here, so please bear with me if it sounds too harsh, or too biased. It's just that I can't handle how messy the author is writing the story. I think it deserves 3 stars instead of 3.5, and I'm being generous here.

TL;DR: I wouldn't recommend reading it. <<less

There's no concept of a story, or at least a general direction. Characters are nothing more than bland cardboard cut outs, full of the usual stereotypes with nothing worth mentionable. A bunch of pseudo yanderes going after a protagonist with no noteworthy features, can't recommend it, not even as a filler read, if you're looking for a way to kill some time.

Disappointed

Started off good but then it left a bad taste. The MC is basically a con artist that barely has any self-confidence or a strong will, the only time he is confident is when he's sweet talking a girl to survive. The biggest problems he's an absolute pu*sy even after surviving in a forest where death is at every corner for a whole year, you would think he would became cold, calm and mature but nope a year of hell is not enough for there to be any difference.

Pretty fun so far. The self-deprecation from the MC is a bit much, but all of the characters are pretty colorful and happy to jump to extreme behavior with little or even no provocation. The stalking horse "hero" guy is pretty lame, and being sent to a kingdom that is "actually pretty evil" is nothing new, so it isn't like nothing here is cliche. But all in all it still has more of a refreshing tone than boring or meandering.

The MC has spent more time in recent chapters knocked out... more>> than awake, so if that type of thing keeps up too much it could go from being an ok joke to a bad joke. Living up to that 10 Luck stat so far though. <<less

Drop this novel

for a simple reason of I no longer remember who's who... like who is the MC again?

it's this kind of novel that will make you want to forget with it's endless POV of sideline character, it pulls you away from the main plot and force you to read a boring and useless chapters about side characters.

At first I like tried to endure as the story is good but after a month or two yeah I can barely remember anything about this with its chain of POV useless chapters... more>> so drop it and don't bother reading... Congrats to author first time reading a novel which makes me feel that the author want you to stop reading it lol <<less

Objectively it does hardly anything new to the "transported to an other world genre" just like most novels. So if you're looking for something new and amazing to keep you on the edge of your seat go elsewhere. But subjectively I very much am enjoying this novel. I love how the yandere character is done and is one of the better yandere characters as well. Just wish translations were a little faster given the chapters are short. I'd say wait until there are more chapters to read.

Started ok-ish (standard but not bad), but it went very rapidly in forcefully separating the main character from his class and giving him really OP powers.

Plot seems to be more of a suggestion so far, and it clearly tries to ride on novels with similar starts, without a good enough writer to make it work. Arifureta at least tries to make the characters seem meaningful, especially the girls that go with the main character, and the situations for meeting each others add meaning to the meeting.

Here, in just a few... more>> chapters, we are dead clear about a few points:
Spoiler

The main character already has 3 girls that want him, a childhood friend, a goddess and a vampire (disguised as a maid in the castle he was summoned at).

The "betrayal" scene is really empty.

In the chapter 11-12, he also gets a very OP power and a big level up, without having to be clever about anything, just a free ticket to OP status for the sake of it.

[collapse]

Admittedly, it's still only 12 chapters, so the rest of the story could very well have a good plot, good characters and good writing after that, but so far it's all very standard and not very well executed. <<less

Starts off good, then dere characters flip into yandere and the story turns into an absolute mess, you get timeskips for MC with pov chapters to other characters within the timeskip randomly that has no effect on the story other than showing that some dere have gone yan, the whole thing spirals into a convoluted plot and then the story gets dropped by the author, first 10-15 chapters i'd rate 3/5, rest are 1/5.

The generic level system status page gets completely forgotten after the timeskip as well and is never... more>> seen again.

MC even loses one of his unique skills as his spirit (ghost) he possesses dies from old age. (Apparently ghosts can die from old age.) And the only time it's shown him using the skill is to kill a goblin and the rest of it during a year time skip is all off screen.

Scored it 2/5 as it's good for new authors to see what works and what doesn't. <<less

Translator said the author dropped this. Or something.

Was such a Good read to kill time.

Its the typical Isekai teansported class. MC became a cheat with the help of a Yandere Goddess. But we havent seen the Goddess reuniting. MC being a wimp even thougn he is more powerful than his wife.
