Pathetic - (r*pe hardly should give multiple org&sm ?!)

ok, it starts rather fun, the odd librarian is an abstinent erotica writer, which more or less makes her a geek of all smut things, she got inspiration from a dangerous affair, and got involved with an even more dangerous individual

that part was fun... until it became idiotic, then lame, then ridiculous, then disgusting

-— the idiotic goes for another contract between two people with an obvious attraction, futher that it should stop when they actually experiment their relationship, but it only... more>> gets worse

—-lame, is the fear part : not knowing the identity of the guy she likes, she dares anything. But then, discovering he has a terrible reputation, she should either avoid him entirely, or trust her heart, but she does neither - from then on, fear is going to be an absurd plague in their relationship, lack of trust will ensue, and so on : how awkward and tiresome !

—- to make it worse, while the author pretends to care about a relationship between equal partners, , yet the FL shall becomes another student of an all powerful know it all male (yes he will eventually even teach her how to suck d*ks (if he's a weredog, that might explain ?)) - so, apart from her being s*upidly provocative, unguarded despite her fears, despite knowing nothing about safe s€x when she, has a female, should be at least concerned, their relationship grows as he can't endure anymore : how does it make them equals ? Who knows ?
in the end, when they actually get to do the did, the reader is subjected to the some of worst kind of first time depiction : you get the pain, the blood, the sm feel good in pain thing - of course you can't escape the forever hard monster p rampaging the girl between « heaven and hell » and - oh surprise (?) the magical v to be different than any other, that sill be the nail in the coffin to capture the ML's heart : that's how you recognize a good heroine (??!) - so that one v, is not only super tight/dripping/sensitive / with an easy to find and rouse g point (!) (<- all too « typical » ?) , so it's also « gripping » the monster p, to stop it from getting out (yeah, never seen that one before ! How can he resist that ? - duh)

so, let's make it clear : when it hurts it hurts, it becomes dry, raw and, obviously, more friction will NOT make it better ! Hell, mean no heaven, no way ! as the hymen has no nerves, pain is simply bad preparation or lack of lub if needed ! (Btw, not all bleed at all !! Some are so flexible they can still be there after giving birth twice ! v**ginity is nothing but a 19th century fabrication - there's hard science studying that it simply has no evidence basis !)

—- and then the disgusting part, after even more useless misunderstandings, she becomes his victim (note that you could really argue she has responsibilities), but you have non ambiguous non con borderline r*pe, ending up with multiple « fireworks » episodes (yeah, rapist would agree they love it, right ?) - and that is simply unacceptable bad propaganda !!

I'm terribly disappointed, because the, author seemed to have had the ambition to care about her representation, at least her character does, but it seems there's too much influence of sm/ shades of gray (?) / Chinese novels (?) / whatever misogynistic crap and she can't even understand what she's writing about -

it's seriously disturbing to think girls might grow an idea of sexually out of the current « standard « of what you should endure to be « ok » in an intimate relationship :/ <<less

I LOVE IT!!!

Even though its by far only 4 chapters, considering the plot, I'm loving it so far.

A curious and peculiar FL who is struggling in her writing, RELATE MUCH.

Thank you to Vi, the translator for picking this up and I am beyond excited and looking forward for future updates! (On Wednesdays and Fridays, apparently)

This just isn't good imo. While it's a great smutty romp if that's your thing, it loses all substance in an attempt to fall directly into depravity with p*rn level of s*upid set ups for the smut.

A lot of other smut novels manage to maintain plot, characters, and world building. They expand upon every little detail so that when you actually get a smutty scene, it feels weighty, like it means something. But this one doesn't even try. Every potential plot beat was interrupted by a shoe-horned snu-snu scene. It... more>> suffers from poor flow, disappointing character writing, and cliches that aren't expanded upon, developed, or made interesting. You might have some fun with it if you enjoy it for the smut and ignore literally everything else, but don't come to lucidity ever while reading this, or you'll realize how bad it is. Maybe its my fault for expecting more from a smut novel, but considering I know better, more fulfilling smut novels are out there, I guess I just don't have any tolerance for anything less.

don't even get me started on the FL and her creepy voyeurism. Ya'll can call her proactive or whatever, but all I see is a woman who watched A FRIEND get basically assaulted and then proceed to do nothing but get off on watching it.

Translated chapters at this point have not even gotten to the FL and ML's actual involvement yet, but I already love this!! Jumped right onto this after reading the Promo — the FL seemed so loveable. While I love the smut genre, I have to admit it's difficult to find an endearing FL.

Still can't say much at this point but I found the writing pretty engaging (huge props to the translator!), what caught my attention that makes it slightly different to the usual was the beginning s*x scene that's movement-focused... more>> instead of sensual-focused — just because in the beginning the FL is merely a 3rd party observer, so it only tells us what she sees since she's not feeling it. Even then, the narrative surprisingly didn't feel superficial at all. Sometimes I personally find it hard to invest in smut characters that are introduced by throwing us into an out-of-context intimate s*x from the get-go (then progress retrospectively). On the other handdd... those take too long to get into action can be boring too, because, uh, I need to know the smut quality before deciding whether to continue. In that regard, this takes a nice balance in the beginning by giving us our share of smut, together with a grasp on the FL's persona through her narrative — without throwing her into the action directly. (Did that make any sense at all?)

Anyway, can't give a proper rating to a smut novel until the actual smut comes into action — but having very high hopes and would absolutely love to see more! <<less

I love the novel itself, hands down to the author! But the translation released is too slow and was divided into multiple parts which makes the reading experience frustrating, will go back to it after two years. Bye!

The novel's plot is original and unique. Started reading in November 2020 and 58 chapters in there's still no smut between the main characters. [Not that it's bad we loovee to see character development] Learn to give a good novel 5 stars and separate the story from the translator because the releases are taking FOREVER my gawwddd it threw me off because Im reading bit by bit sometimes the interval being 1 week or even a month.

I dropped because I got impatient and annoyed. Its very slow paced, but I think its bc the translators split it up

the smut itself was not great, r*pey ML but are we honestly surprised? No, we're not.

The only way I can see someone enjoying this is if they like romcom smut with cliches filled to the max. Along with a pe*verted protagonist who is somehow at the same time naive. And the cold ML who's arrogant and possessive. Its full of contradictions since the author probably wanted everything, but it... more>> doesnt work out great. The plot holes are weird, and MC gave me secondhand embarrassment a lotttttt.

2 stars since its just so mediocre. I suppose you could binge read it if ur really that bored. <<less

The FL (Vivian) is my favorite. LOL, she's does the most to bed him. The novel is really good. Hope the updates get quicker. TL's gonna have to work hard. Need more chapters quickly.

There’s hardly any story at all. The translation is lacking, the way of writing is kinda childish and there are moments where it’s hard to understand what’s going on - but don’t worry, it probably is not important to the story.
It’s vary linear, straightforward and simple. They meet, fall in love, ML reveals his big secret and FL says she can live with that... and that’s the end. I was really living under the impression that the story has yet to begin, but it just... ended. Which is too bad, because the general idea for the novel was interesting and that’s the only reason why I’m giving it 3*

This is a very smutty story. The story is enjoyable, most characters are well done. The FL is quirky and starts as a virg*n who writes erot*c fiction. This isn’t cute and fluffy but a bit dark and very sexy. I will probably reread it someday, it’s not particularly memorable. I read enough that I thought it was basically complete but it seems to keep going, I’m just waiting for more chapters before I binge the rest.

I actually quite like this story. MC was likeable. She wasn't a damsel in distress who needed ML to rescue her. She could pretty much save herself from unfavorable situation. ML was a bit generic though, typical cold and indifferent guy but I still like the dynamic of MC and ML's relationship throughout the story.

The sm*t was quite okay although it's not that many. The ending was a happy ending but somehow I feel that it's lacking something.

What about the wedding? Also, I hope that someday, the emperor would know that he could rule the country peacefully was because his brother aka ML helped him from the back. Too bad the emperor was still in the dark about it but thankfully, he still loved ML so much.

Cons: The quality of the translation isn’t terrible, but it’s not great. It can sometimes be hard to tell who’s talking and gendered pronouns are very frequently confused

Pros: The main character is clever, s*x positive, and well-rounded. Overall, I find it really refreshing that the story avoids common cliches—the MC doesn’t need to be rescued at any point, and is very capable. I also highly appreciate that it calls out and avoids common dark romance tropes.

Overall, I recommend as long as you can deal with the translation

not gonna rate it yet since the romance has yet to even start. They haven't even reached any sort of agreement yet but I'm assuming it's in the next chapter or very likely a few from chapter 35.

like it says ray the archduke-emperors older brother-is forced by his younger brother to soon take in a wife (hoping to warm his heart) and I'm guessing he takes an interest in getting with Vivian (mc) who he's been having talks with at the library.

vivians situation is so that her editor/publishers feel that... more>> her novels, despite being labelled as erotica are getting dry-not evoking strong emotions eg desire. And so advises her to get some experience for herself which she cannot as she's bound to the castle to life-meaning must keep chasteandlie like a nun unless a royal himself frees her from such fate, being the ML.

I think he ends up finding out her identity as perdi (the hot-shot writer) and probably agree too exchange a give and take relationship which later blossoms to love (although she had shown in him interest)

p.s he has rumors of him being notorious and evil but he's still a virg*n unlike he's player bro.

i think its worth a shot. The sh*t between emperor, the chick n that one duke is messy lol. <<less

Gave it a chance for 20 chapters but couldn't get anything out of it... The erotica stuff is drowning the plot it seems, as if there is something like a plot here because until now it was VERY DRY and repetitive. I see that the author adds forced details to make the chapters longer, which is funny since every chapter is so short that you don't have to scroll if you're reading on a laptop...
Can't see any potential from it, don't wanna waste my time, dropped at 21.
