Xie Yan was in an accident while acting. After crossing into a different world, he finds that he is thin and small. While setting up a strict weight and strength training plan for himself, he is very satisfied with his life cooking and playing with robots. He didn’t realize that it was an ABO world and that he was an omega.

“My queen can’t be an omega.” Huo Nai, the prince of the Galactic Empire, made a high-profile claim that he would not indulge in his instincts and yield to pheromones. Who knew that someone would try to assassinate him on his way back from his expedition and that an accident would occur while trying to land on the planet Murdo. He was rescued by Xie Yan, and he became the other side’s …bodyguard and permanent worker.

Huo Nai: “How can I like this strange Omega?!”

I enjoyed this read.

Made me envious that the MC has even more energy /spoons than me, I wouldn't be able to do all of what he does when gathering food to cook later everyday? 😩💕 I thought MC is really likeable character and the ML was pretty cute. 😊

So cute!! I love the story so muchh! The food got me really hungry, I envied the ML so much since he's the one who always get to eat the MC's cooking. I also love that there's not a lot of drama but it did not made the story plain, the plot is actually pretty simple and cute, it's good. I also love the characters, their personalities are a thumbs up. Overall, it's a very nice novel. I just wish that there's an extra chapter about their bonding with their... more>> son. UwU <<less

Overall the story is good, both the relationship between MC and ML has a great relationship, the story is also not long and tiring. However, this speed ended up somewhat hindering the development of the plot, that is, in several moments when they could be explored in more depth instead of being done in a "run over" way. And with that, the story's potential ended up devaluing a little.

It's already satisfying with this short story up to 20+chap. Our MC is headstrong although somehow gets frustrated with his weak buddy. And yep his cuisines are very good yowww. Our ML is kinda awkward at the start since he forgot his memories. It was a good story cliché hahaha they got to know each other with their time together. Just like what MC said like a vacation. MC is also straightforward so that there's not much musunderstanding trope. Even the author said that she wants it a quick story.... more>> Of course Happy ending with their child:) <<less

Nice fluffy story with nice pacing and as a person who likes fluffy stories, I'm ready to give this a whooping 5. But reality sucks since it just abruptly ended, so I can only give this a 4⭐.

This story has a lot similar plot with other novels but I just can't get tired of it so I really like this one.

MC is really interesting and such a foodie, ML is just your typical ML. They're both nice describe.

Despite of my low review, I do recommend this.

(I'm French so sorry for my shitty English) 😅😭

It's a good novel, seriously my type of novel, but unfortunately too short. But hey, the author preferred to keep the story short so I respect it. 😔

... more>> The story reminds me of "A Guide to Raising Your Natural Enemy" (which I recommend 1000000000%, one of my favorite novels, and even I think my favorite of all novels) except that humans are not half-human, half-animal man and are just ABOs but without animal attributes.

But since the story is too short everything happens very quickly, unfortunately. We see much less the feelings of the characters, who happen a bit like that, too quickly, for no real reason. But it is still quite plausible, and is not too disturbing in the end, I have already seen so much worse than in the end it seems "normal" to me. 😅

I'm a little disappointed at the end because, firstly, I really wanted to see (well imagine rather) Xie Yan with a big belly, but no. And secondly, I'm disappointed at the end because I find that there is not enough reaction on Huo Nai and Xie Yan's relationship. I wish we had real reactions from the audience but we just have four sentences, and I will also have to see the royal family and the friends of Huo Nai. 😐😤

It's still a good novel, its only flaw being therefore to be too short, which I highly recommend for a little moment of sweetness that will make your mouth water! 🤤

Happy reading, and good luck to your stomach, because you are going to starve to death after reading this.🤤😘 <<less

It's a fluff novel despite it is a ABO genre so, the rest of the readers can read this without feeling apprehensive. As I said, it's a fluff story so there is no heavy plot but surely, there is more talk about food.

Before reading this, I read "The Film Emperor's Daily Live Cooking Broadcast", this one has more plot than this novel. To be honest, there is a bit of similarity but the differences are it's in ABO. It's enough for a short read and you can definitely enjoy this... more>> novel. It's not perfect but it's definitely a good read. <<less

i would rate it a 3, but the ratings for this story are abnormally high for some reason. I had high expectations and really wanted to like this story, and the beginning was great. The transation was a bit weird at times, but besides that I loved the setting, loved the food part, liked the comedy scenes and the slice of life bit. And honestly if it continued like that i'd give it a full 5 stars for a feel-good short novel. But then they tried to write a plot... more>> and it was just... poorly planned out. Character motivation makes sense at first, but then change 500 times for no reason, novel brings up things only to drop it later, weird explanations to cover some plot holes, and of course, plot holes that weren'r covered. The development of the romance also also something i've never seen before, in a bad way. Really weird that it didn't meet any of my expectations, but not in a "wow I'm mad I wanted this to happen and it didnt", it just didnt follow a nomal flow of things. I'll admit, the

revelation surprised me and was nice, but other than that... I can't say anything else of the "plot" part was good. The novel ended with a banger finishing line and philosophy, but it didnt have an impact in me because of the rest of the story. :/ really wanted to like this and can't see what all the fuss is about that people are praising this <<less

Short but definitely sweet.

Started reading this as I was going to sleep, and totally regret it. I mean the way every dish is prepared and plated is describe vividly, and I can't help but visualize it. It was a nice short story. Fluffy and sweet, like cotton candy. Nothing too much complicated and good with reading it to pass the time. Too sad its short but I think its good its short, too much drama could complicate it and might ruin the fluff.

With regards with the translation, as expected with... more>> my fave scans, EXR did a good job! <<less

Whew. It's fun to read this! Like other reviewer said, it's binge-able.

With my experience as reader, our mood influences the way we feel about the book we read. That's why if you're in the mood for elaborate story with deep characters and plot, then save this book for later. The story is pretty light and focuses on food.

There're not too much dog food and fluffiness either (it's kinda subjective, but compare to other fluffy novels, this one 60% focus on food, 30% on plot, and 10% on fluff). Well, in... more>> my opinion this amount is actually good (I mean, fluffiness usually makes the plot stagnant).

Very cute, simple and easy.

Although it has some plot-holes that are easy to ignore and it had the potential for more chapters, it was a good short story.

I recommend this for those who like short and quick stories, there’s basically zero to none drama arcs.

I do wish for some extra chapters with the baby they had.

This was a relatively short read with a good balance of food and plot development. That being the case, I felt the latter half of the story was a bit rushed and anti-climactic. Overall, a decent read if you're looking for something to tide you over while you're searching for that next gem.

While the novel was rather short, it actually covers a rather long stretch of time, skipping weeks and months at a time. It's not really a bad thing per se, but it really limits the amount of time... more>> we get to spend with characters as they build their relationship. The end result is that, while it doesn't really come out of nowhere, there also wasn't really any build up up to that point.

And after they get together, the author hit hyperdrive and just finished off the novel.

There's barely any conflict and the little that does exists.... just peter out in the end. But I also hesitate to call this a fluff novel because, yeah, it's not really that fluffy. <<less

A short, simple and lighthearted ABO novel, with plenty of delicious food, set within a futuristic intergalactic world.

As a foodie and someone who loves to cook, I am always looking for more food p*rn BLs... lol... I did enjoy this one even though it was lacking in many aspects. It was too short, the characters did not have enough screen time, the romance seemed too abrupt and there was not enough fluff between the 2 protags. It's a shame because the story and characters are very interesting and deserved more... more>> chapters. But as the author said, it is her prerogative to write whatever she wanna write :) <<less

This was an interesting and hunger-inducing read and things got wrapped up pretty well imo, it's not abrupt in feeling development for ML, as for MC hmm...I guess he didn't realize his feelings for ML at first until ML informed him he was going to leave soon.

Spoiler

TBH, I was wondering how MC didn't realize what his gender was [because some novels let you have of the body's memory or clues sitting around] and it was explained pretty well, ofc transmigration cannot always be explained logically... but from what I understand, it's highly possible that MC's body was part of the project to revive Earth's creatures and so he wasn't purely earthling [genetically] because the scientist had taken his adoptive father's genes [who happen to be omega] to combine with the earthling embryo but the body was conscious-less and end up waking up with MC's soul later on.

ok the story is nice. I do feel like the chapters is not enough but overall it's a cute story.

i like the cp, especially the MC I think he's very cute. I hope it's a little bit longer, since I'm very curious about other things in the novel, but still, it's good for reading!

This story is like a delicious-looking hotpot- great soup, all the ingredients are there. You dip in your meats and veggies and the mushrooms are swimming on top waiting to be bitten.

You finally take a bite and decide to savor the moment only to realize that there is no salt in the soup making the whole thing a strange affair.

This story has excellent world-building and character development, but it fails in plot creation. It had a promising start but by the end, they kind of just let it go.

Spoiler

The author builds a whole storyline where the Chef's Association should be the bad guys and how things will be, but somehow ends with not even mentioning what happens to them. The MC is randomly pregnant so everything is dropped, they are suddenly trying to get married, MC's backstory is unravelled and happy ending. All this in the space of 1-2 chapters!

[collapse]

Overall, not a terrible read- it is entertaining to hear about the MC's desire for meat and how heroic it makes him, but that's about all.

Sweet, silly story. It has pretty well written worldbuilding for such a short work. Characters were silly and fun, I was entertained by them. The plot was straightforward and uncomplicated which was in tune with the atmosphere of the story so it was kind of refreshing instead of giving the vibe of s*upidity (what is the feeling I usually got from other similar works).

What a fluffy read. ^^
