She was reincarnated into a novel as the villainess’ supporter and died a tragic death after harassing the heroine.

To avoid her death, she gave everything to Suzanne, the heroine and helped her get her happy ending. But…

“Think back on your sins. You are convicted of attempted mu*der, high treason…”

She was betrayed in the end…

“Goodbye, foolish countess. Ah, I forgot that you’re not a countess anymore,” Suzanne chuckled.

The heroine’s vicious nature, which she learned on the brink of her death. At that last moment, she thought.

‘If I was given another chance, I…’

“No way! …I returned?”

She went back to the day before she met the heroine. The worst mistake she had made in her previous life.

[History is written by the victors.] She will no longer be the heroine’s s*ave. She swears to come out victorious and have her own happy ending!

I'm really enjoying this one so far. Medina is an interesting MC because she doesn't start in a powerless position. I think a lot of these reincarnation stories put the MCs in a privileged but powerless role where they have to curry favor in order to survive, but Medina was betrayed by a subordinate whom she treated as a friend. Her immediate plan upon returning is to choose better subordinates which flips the power dynamic between our MC and (presumed) ML pair. She doesn't "save him" by being sweet and kind and healing his broken heart and other gendered/submissive tropes--she literally rescues him from an abusive situation. I suspect that this story is going to go the opposite way--Farren is the one who is going to teach MC how to... more>> trust again.

Farren (ML candidate) is adorable in the first few chapters. He's so earnest and sweet despite going through some rough stuff. <<less

Premise of the story is irrational and creepy. MC regresses after betrayal. MC is rich and powerful 17 year old noble betrayer is 12 year old girl in an orphanage. Instead of resolving the revenge in a quick and efficient way (girl I adopted fallen down the stairs and broke her neck), MC adopts the rival 12 year old boy and she "unintentionally" *wink wink* *nudge nudge* grooms him to be the perfect boyfriend.

Spoiler

You are not convinced she is a predator? Wait till she goes full incel and adds a s*avery blood contract.

“Okay, since we’ve come into an agreement on the conditions. As you already know, if you violate the terms of the contract, the opposite party will have compulsory command of the person who violated it. It’s an absolute right that even makes it possible for the offending party to kill themselves. Do you understand?”

...................

"Madenna had taken to account that Farren was not yet old enough to make a clear judgment. That’s why there was also a guilty conscience when she pushed ahead with the contract out of her selfishness."

Reincarnator/regressor taking advantage of a 12 year old kid. What a romance story. <<less

I really want to like this, but the writing just feels weak. This starts off very similar to other "adopt and save the villain" stories, but the MC really doesn't feel particularly smart or interesting. Same for the ML (?) I think it might be a fun read if you just love this sort of transmigration character raising trope, but it just feels like a nothing burger

No rating yet but not bad so far.

It's very readable even if the hook isn't particularly well done. It was just too breezy and didn't make me feel for the main character. Imagine Yada Yada and I was at the guillotine.

The setup for the future looks good. It definitely looks like a duel of transmigrators is in the works, and you have to like the fact that the main character's knowledge is unreliable

I wonder why the MC dan didnt kill the heroine early one, yeah she does have trauma but she has more power to do so!

Well, since the heroine ia alive I guess this story' is still Going on? I mean in the future there might be possibility the heroine manipulate the other mages remmeber that

--- brosh case: MC tried to confirm Heroine Lies by inviting other mage to show projectile and she look happy or unaffected but when the ML that show the projectile later on the heroine look distorted---

And... more>> this might lead the MC to easily track or collect other mage that involved in rebel <<less

Its okay so far and I am a bit looking forward for more. Thing is, like our main character, I dont know who to trust either at this point. Everyone is so sus...
Also I feel like the way this story was written could be better and the male lead and main character doesn't seem to have much depth to them especially the main character. I know she is scared both from paranoia and trauma (and more) but in the story she just isnt doing anything.

The plot is interesting. The female lead is trying her best to not to repeat her past mistakes and she is even going to get revenge. The female lead knows her short-comings, she tries to understand the situation and is trying her best to protect her family meanwhile she is having a hard time on "who to trust?" because of the betrayal she faced in her past life.

The male lead is a teenager for now. He is cute, innocent, intelligent and a loyal guy. But, since the leads have a... more>> huge age gap so I hope in future they would not be in a romantic relationship. Even though I think the ML loves her.

This story will make anyone hooked on. <<less
