This is a good slice of life novel with some comedy and a very very very little serious plot. It seems the author trying to add several serious moment to the story but failed. In some arc MC personality will suddenly changed without reason, but in the next arc it will revert back. If you drop this because MC suddenly become serious, just skip the arc, and the MC will become silly again.

Another plus point because the story not get dragged for word count, so the ending feel quite satisfying.

This novel is to have a relaxed and entertaining time, it is balanced in several aspects, having a good comedy, with a good final closure jjaaj...

You have nothing to lose by reading it

I really enjoyed this novel, MC is really funny and ret*rded. Story reminds me of the first time I read I`m really a Superstar. Almost every chapter is hilarious with the interaction between the MC and the other characters.
10/10 for comedy.
8/10 for Story.

I really really really love this novel. One of my all-time favorites!

The MC is super likable and you can't help cheering him on through all his shenanigans. He takes things at his own pace and is endearingly naive in a way that usually causes headaches for everyone around, but tons of laughs for the reader.

One of the things I've noticed other reviewers disliking was the arc where the MC helped a girl get a boyfriend, and then subsequently ruined his reputation after the couple broke up. Other reviewers say that... more>> the MC took things too far, especially since the girl was mostly to blame (since she was spending so much time with the MC instead of the boyfriend). BUT, you have to remember that the premise of this story is that the MC is an oddity and never reacts in ways you expect. He does nonsensical things so often, that actually expecting him not to get back at someone he thinks hurt his "personal cook" or hoping for him to react in a rational way is literally a pipe dream.

The MC is very much so a child, and children can do really good and really terrible things because they don't understand that their actions have consequences. In this case, consequences that his family and friends end up cleaning up for him, or in other cases, his freakish luck kicks in.

Once the MC and his family leave Soaring Sky Empire, the writing starts to go downhill. Things became incredibly repetitive, and there were a lot of sections I had to force myself to read through. And the ending, the way everything was resolved just didn't make any sense to me at all. The motivation of the supposed villain, Zhao Yarou, and how everything was resolved just seemed to make everything feel pointless.

It would've been fine if it was only repetitive but it's REPETITIVE and SLOW.

The story and characters are good, but not that great.
Where's the action and all the killing man?

I went to read this story expecting a super awesome Alchemist poisoning maybe an Empire to death single-handedly, but what I get are awful romance sob stories.

The pacing of the story practically bored me to death.
