The status of a wizard is transcendent in all continents and in the universal plane.

Mysterious, wise, cruel and bloodthirsty are synonymous with wizards. But what does a real wizard look like?

After coming into contact with the world of wizards, Angel came to the conclusion:

Wizards are a group of people who illuminate themselves with intellect-driven ideas, but are in a dialectical world with a materialistic attitude.

In other words, this is a group of alternative scientists who walk alone in a rigorous manner in the pursuit of understanding reality.

…..

Multiple worlds, boundless overlap. Under the guidance of intelligent creatures, they have walked out of their respective paths of civilization.

Among them, the wizard world, with its unique cultivation of civilization, runs through the endless plane.

Even if the wizard world is so strong, the reality of the universe, is that the mysteries of the dimension are still unbreakable.

Until, a multiverse traveler, visited this side of the world. (The traveler is not the protagonist, the traveler is not the protagonist , the traveler is not the protagonist, things that are important are said three times!)

After such a long time I've finally created an account here just to make a review because this story needs way more love. Others seem to think the story is slow, but I don't feel that way at all. I'm current at 85 chapters and a ton of stuff has happened up till this point.

It's worth noting that Angel (the MC) doesn't immediately start gaining magic powers and advancing, which is likely why some feel it's slow, but, not only is he making progress the entire story, he's constantly surrounded... more>> by the mysterious, magical, and terrifying. So I've not once felt the story is slow at all. He's also a very relatable character with a realistic yet fair view on morality, though he's still a bit naive.

Definitely comparable to Warlock of the Magus World, particularly with the attention to detail on making the magic system seem logically coherent yet wondrous and incomprehensible. However, unlike the pile of bricks for a personality Leylin, Angel is far more interesting and complex as a person.

The overall plot has been exciting with many interconnected elements up till this point, so I can't wait to see where it goes. The update schedule also appears to be very regularly so I have high hopes for this story at the moment. <<less

The story was interesting but it gets worse over time. The pacing is slow. Really slow. World building is shallow. Not bad but shallow. The author never focus enough on world building and most characters come off as disposable or one dimension.

At around chapter 300, the author threw the story out the window and turn it into some strange odyssey with useless information dump and a ton of new forgettable characters. I find myself skipping the whole arc as s*upid and shallow.

After 420 chapter, the world is barely fleshed out... more>> and we have a ton of senseless information about some other world that we will never visit again. <<less

Gosh, I frankly don't know how I've lasted this long; the novel is extremely boring. The MC is given a cheat device similar to WMW but rarely uses it, other than in a few chapters, and instead, he's given a different cheat where the MC is more or less haunted by a powerful mystical being. That powerful being or whatever will not hesitate to serve as plot armor. The same goes for the MC's wizard master, who supposedly has a noninterference pact going on, but he too will not hesitate... more>> to serve as plot armor.

The MC has zero original thought and is driven by circumstances. But the author tries to balance it by saying that he has talent, etc. These are nothing but fluff.

Steer clear of this rubbish, mates. <<less

Novel is realy good becase it dont rush it like a lot of other novels and lay waste to all the potential they build in there world.

it almost Never stretch Fillers not over a few chaps long and are sparingly placed.

MC gets Powerful but dont feel op.

World ir rly good developed and you dont miss things or feel missinformed about stuff that happens or not happens. Also it is SO insane satisfying when he reveal some secrets and the reaction to it, what a laugh.

reading it was rly a enjoyment

Novel is similar to Warlok of the Magus World, but the politics are more realistic, people would rather trade than randomly mu*der you, unless you are so weak and insignificant that you can get away with it. Its a super slow novel tho, if you hate that kind of thing, to the point where the MC hasnt even progressed to a full wizard, but apprentices in this are far more powerful than the average other universe (can summon monsters, fly, change their appearance etc.) -

The pace is slow because the MC is not OP. I liked how ignorant the MC was of this new world and how he had advantages yet taken advantaged of by others too. He doesn't act like he is entitled of the spotlight. He adapts to the world and not the other way around. Obviously he has an MC halo as he is the MC but it's not as illogical and random. The creativity and intuitiveness of the author can be seen in this novel. The atmosphere of the novel... more>> is mystifying not because of the words used but because of the layers of things that tickles your curiosity. Well, I'm the type who likes watching documentary on national geographic so maybe it's just simply my cup of tea. <<less

Overall a pretty good story. Very solid up until about 300. The issue is that the MC is just a bit too pathetic. He is like a TicTok star or something. People call him amazing, but in reality he is pathetic. To be fair, he is an illusionist, so his fame is all an illusion, maybe? Like a homeless person pretending to be a millionaire. It’s just surprising more people don’t see through it. He gets destroyed over and over and saved by plot armor. He misses obvious things and... more>> is just incompetent too often (hmmm. People are harmed by having their shadows removed... in only a few weeks and 10+ chapters he starts to think “maybe it is by that guy that calls himself ‘Shadow?’”) Wow. Haha.

And neither he nor his supposedly powerful, fear inducing mentor ever actually end any competent opponent. Sure, they will happily smash insignificant opponents, but anyone semi-strong, they let go. They are both seeking strength but so scared of anyone’s shadow that the only way they grow is via plot armor. And this isn’t any sense of morality in letting them go. They are happy to kill the weak. They are just scared of anyone strong and whoever backs them. What use is seeking strength when they are always just forced to take whatever beating the next bully wants to unleash? At least the power creep isn’t crazy. So that is a plus. Just wish he would get a backbone. <<less

man this novel is somethinb else.

so many good parts. So many frustrating moments. I really enjoy this novel. I like the logic behind the cold wizard world even though the story does not falls into gore category it was still enjoyable to me.

whats most frustrating though the MC lack of shrewdness. Like he is smart but not street smart. He needs lot of character progression to be suitable MC for a cold blooded world. Every deal somehow made him as the losing party.

so his character is not really enjoyable considering... more>> the universe he is in to. Hopefully a later part would show his character growth and be more calculative. Doesnt mind the slow story progression as long as MC is actually cunning which he is not yet. I’ll come back to this <<less
