I'm conflicted with this because 50 chapters (not sure if it's 3rd/4th arc) in and I'm still not into the story. I only continue reading it because it is written well but after I passed that I started to like the story more. I only started thinking that 'yeah, this story is really good' was 7th/8th arc (heart disease arc) because I was bawling my eyes out. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that the first arcs were bad but I just thought that it is missing some... more>> essence to it or maybe I just read a lot of novels that I'm getting picky. Anyways still RECOMMEND READING IT because its written well and it will leave you satisfied at the end.

Overview: Hao Ritian is supposed to die in a car accident but was taken by a system to go to different projected worlds to change the fate of people who are treated unfairly in exchange for his own second chance. The only problem is the people he will take over has sickness that he needs to deal with.

So infuriatingly brainless. Me just like everybody else came for the plot's potential only to be sorely disappointed it's overrated because it's qt and the plot summary hooks you right in but the actual story fails to make the most of it. The MC has a major case if chunibyou syndrome, He also sounds super hypocritical like he doesn't want to ride on the mls coattails but ends up doing just that what he calls freedom of choice or idc what others think of me sounds so made up and... more>> fake like ok u don't have to shove it in my face author

Also the most creepy thing for me was the way he keeps calling a child ''doll'' it sounds so sexualized and pe*verted even moreso after he saves the child from being abducted to afterwards sorta kidnap him himself for half a day cz a 5 yo can't consent OK! You'd need a guardian present if not their consent to taking the child out to play at least the guy is a literal creep n everyone is glorifying that

Mostly depends on your mood if u wanna chill n not think too hard about it then it's a passable timepass read <<less

First thing first, if you expect the novel to go into details about the sickness in each arc then you are awfully mistaken, it won't so when you read it don't expect they spent to much efforts on it and don't try to sympathize yourself with the sickness, just not worth it for yourself or trying to make sense out of it. To the author this is just a theme to make the novel stand out in a way. I don't like how she did that but it's not that... more>> serious to me because she isn't really trying to make it look like she know everything about the illness, she does put warning in her footnotes.

The MC is so much fun and I like his guts. ML is your typical Transmigration gong, you know domineering Ceo type. It really did caught me off guard when they did it within one second of meeting each other, ML dragged MC into the room and both were ahem good at it.

I can't believe all the arcs are modern world, wish there was some change but because the illness theme it had to be that way I guess

I do enjoy every faceslap it did delivered so I like how they go about delivering the punishments.

There was one occasion where I cried abit surprisingly

When the 20 year old teen kill the stepfather who r*ped his mentally ill 15 year old brother, he was going to be executed and gave his heart to the MC who had heart problems. The promise is to look after his brother, that touched me so much

I love the systems here. And the whole thing first and the hierarchy. The baby systems can grow they start as babie and can grow with missions/experience like raising game. This should be used in other novels. It's really good idea and I love it

I also love how they did one thing that was different from other novels

They manage to bring friends and a family member to the system world and continue to live together, I always want to see that ah when MC have more than just ML in his long life

The novel is a good read to waste time, abit more unique then other transmigration novels out there. If you're not offended by the 'Illness' stuff do give it a try if you like QT theme. <<less

OMG! YES! Honestly this is the first time I fell in love at the first sight... with the MC! Ritian is my male god (he is a shou, tho~ but NP, coz I enjoyed it too...) Isn't he very unique...? His personality is just so in line with my taste. If he is a real mochi, I'm gonna gulp him whole in a sec. And I dun care even if it will choke me to death.

Next, what should I say about the ML...? Hmm... From 1 to 10, I'm going... more>> to give him 8. I didn't fall in love with him, tho~ He is not too "crazy" but I still think that he is quite "wild". So I like him... just a bit.

Next, about the plot. At some parts, I think it is too abrupt, but it is still okay. I really enjoyed the arcs.

In the end, I want to thank the translator for his time and effort translating this story. It really help me to relieve some boredom.

Honestly I really enjoyed the story, but partially the reason why I voted 5stars was to bring up the overall rating a bit.

I don't believe it's anything new that authors may be ignorant regarding illnesses, particularly mental illnesses. Of course, that doesn't mean they should be forgiven for mis-portrayals, but I personally think some personal judgement is required to decide. For this story, when they mention things like autism and treatment programs that really shouldn't work, I'll take it with a grain of salt. For example, when they say autism,... more>> I'm substituting that for anxiety or social disorders.

That said, if mental health may be a potential trigger for you or you're very sensitive to the terms used in this story, you don't have to read it. I think this many reviews have already made the language inaccuracy clear, so if this is important to you just skip the story rather than tr*sh the rating.

For this story, most of the time I just substituted words in my mind, and I really enjoyed the story. Honestly the premise of the first arc pseudo-"rabies" was really dumb lol but just take it as a normal modern transmigration face-slapping arc.

I do like that in every world MC is forced to take on some traits of the character he's inhabiting. Similar to QWTFOD, that makes it much more interesting than just the same ole character in different settings. Furthermore, because they're all modern arcs so far (and may continue to be), the use of different "illnesses" to add variety isn't a bad idea in itself.

Anyway, I quite liked this story. Whether or not you choose to read it is entirely up to you. Thanks to the translating team's hard work!

Tbh the mental hospital arc I found a loot of fun, and the romance of the mains was okay to me because I know MC is sane. That said, huge breach of professional etiquette, but MC was begging for it. However, the side couple made me very very uncomfortable tbh. <<less

Overall, it was an okay read, no surprising plot twists or anything out of the ordinary except for maybe the different sicknesses/mental illnesses the MC gets to experience throughout each world. However, if you are looking for accuracy when it comes to the depiction of said illnesses, you might wanna skip this.

Apropos skipping, the author also likes skipping a lot of details/time which could have been worked out more. Often times, the end of each arc felt rushed which was a bit of a letdown. The fact that the ML... more>> always falls in love at first sight with the MC adds to the feeling of the story being rushed.

So... Do I recommend reading this novel? Eh... Maybe, maybe not. If you just wanna read something for the heck of it without minding the details, then go ahead. However, if you get irked by false depictions of illnesses/disabilities, then don't even think about touching this novel. <<less

I give three stars for this novel.

Perhaps some people are uncomfortable reading it because of cultural, educational, and mind-set differences.

Particularly in my country, there are still a lot of people here who say that emotional change, autism, and other mental illness is a disease.

I agree that the author seem to have less to go into things (like autism in 2nd arc). I hope to get something better on the next arc.

The translators have done a good job too, and I hope you can improve the quality. Thank you.

It's a pretty funny story, I think I'm on the 4th world rn?

I like that the MC solves things himself and doesn't rely on the ML entirely but a few worlds in, you definitely know that the MC is Op.

But, it's absolutely hilarious, I seriously couldn't breathe and busted out laughing especially in world 4.

The MC is a mental patient and he decides to play as an emperor in an ancient drama, to which, all the doctors and nurses referred to as "The Court Records". I seriously punctured a lung because the ML (the medical director) is the "queen" and the Mc's "guards" (the other patients) are absolutely hilarious

Although it's funny, it does get quite monotone and the previous arcs were either way too long or just cut at a certain point. It felt like, the author didn't know what else to do in that world and just decided to have the MC complete it.

It's a read for passing time when you're waiting for your other novels to update.

we are introduced with potentially the ML and they had s*x already. No scenes or fade to black just a mention on ML dragging MC to his room at the end of 4 because MC is gay and maybe giving ML the gooey eyes. Chp 5 shows us MC waking up with hickeys.
