In the most popular 3D keyboard online game “Tomorrow”, an ordinary player, Zhang Zhiyin had a less common hobby–that is to visit Dr. Y, the ultimate boss – giving him gifts and hugs.

As a game-produced NPC, the other side had, naturally, no response, but Zhang Zhiyin still insisted on visiting him rain or shine for 363 days. Until, one day, he decided to give up the game as a result of being hit by a car.

Since then, he had been dreaming every night in which he would cross into the realistic world of “Tomorrow” and return to the magical journey of normal life during the day.

****

“From the moment he had fallen in love with this person, he had chosen insanity.”

Marking this novel.

This should be tagged as tragedy.

The MC was brain dead and a total pushover whose main priority was to hook up with the ML.

The pe*verted ML was portrayed to be a powerful and scary character but so far, my only impression of him was a pretentious prick with a penchant for disguising himself to take advantage of the brain dead MC. A total waste of time.

I like ML and MC. The romance is so fluffy but novel is the problem.

While I read through the novel I become somewhat muddled headed. I don't know what I'm reading anymore. I don't know if it's my own fault of being inattentive but I experience it many times. Since I want to understand the story I need to reread again from the part where I don't understand.

But the story if really good. I like the fluffiness! It's best for pass time.

It was an okay read to be honest. The 3 stars are for the first half because after certain chapters came up, it took me a while to get through the rest. If you want a fluff piece with nothing really happening then the 2nd half of this story is for you. If you wanted a semi-thriller zombie drama comedy with a dynamic cast then this isn’t it.

The pacing was very wack. I actually significantly enjoyed the first half more than the second. Then certain plot twists happened within the... more>> span of 2 chapters that kind of threw all the plot out of the window. Everything ends very suddenly and anticlimactically, character’s seem to coin flip personalities depending on the day of the week, the conclusion that makes the final part work doesn’t make the slightest sense other than “love trumps all” and you have no reason to care about any other character by the end. It’s like the author wanted to write a cool zombie story at the beginning and took so much time setting it up only to realize that quick transmigration and QWTFOTD were very popular and spin towards that route. Honestly the more I write, the more I hate the ending because it throws everything: characters, places, and things were invested in and chuck it out the window. <<less

Sigh, as always, good story, fluffy and interesting, the world building is good, the couple compatibility as well, and their interactions are cute.

  • The MC isn't weak but not overpowered and the use of the game system and the store is really interesting as well. He is honest, straightforward and slightly silly but he comes off as cool and collected as he consciously acts like the ML in front of others. Also, a super cute wifey-fan (or, well, ML-fan)
  • The ML instead is mostly cool and collected but he's also surprisingly simple and doesn't really understand the complexities of human relationships. He has his cute moments when the MC is concerned.
  • The Cat is just too cute but only really used as a pretext to interact till now.
  • However... why is it that the MC always depends on the ML in the end? I mean, it's not even his fault as he doesn't know what the other is doing, but even when he has things in hand (mostly) or could work them out the ML has to step in and save things himself...
Sigh, it was so promising at the beginning... with the MC growing little by little. I mean, a little help here and there can be expected, seeing as the ML is simply the... more>> OP big boss and wants to look after him, but it's just escalating... I really hope it gets better, as I'm only at ch49, but I just can't keep reading right now... maybe later on.

Still, if you can ignore or even like that, then this is a good story, interesting, cute and fluffy. <<less

The story was more on the game though there will be about whats happening on the real world. MC was... wellll have fallen deeply to ML hahaha bigfan boy as the title goes -always brushing the boss/He always visits the Boss.

The story as it goes sometimes were a bit boring for me like some explanation about the game maybe I have read enough gamethemed novel that I'm familiar with it -sooo having many descriptive sentence were too bland ---

There will be d twist how the boss had a diff... more>> thinkin/come to life so just read the story

There's a lil bit meng about the cat and so on. One can see the development of MC from his timid self to being a leader haha #coupleface. Over all it is good, though there are boring parts. The ending too, I was kinda shookt like thats it?😅 you'll find urself its already the end of the story. Also there's no steamy scenes just hugging, holding hands and a lil bit kissing. <<less

This novel got me really hyped. It started off strong, with an interesting premise (transmigration into the game). The author introduces you to MC (kinda quirky but cute and lovable) and starts to slowly develop the worldbuilding in a kind of slice of life, but still interesting manner bc it's introducing you to this novel world's basics.

The translation, the writing, and the pacing are good on top of that, so jackpot!! The first scenes with ML are nice, and they establish that they both like each other already, so it's... more>> a question of "how will MC get together with him?" it piqued my interest, and I looked forward to their interactions and the resolution of this problem. Also right off the bat the story deals with the problem of "what about MC's real world?" in a simple but perfect way - he can be with ML and interact with the game world in his dreams without having to give up his real life.

This story made me.. very happy. I liked the romance, and MC's life in the game world fighting zombies. But in good conscience, I have to give it a 4, because from the middle to the end it becomes a big fat mess

the writing never feels boring, so you don't feel that the story's quality is decreasing, but after a while, even tho the novel is still enjoyable, you realize just how much of a mess the plotline has become. A lot of conflict/ climax scenarios where really rushed, in an obvious "lets just get this over with manner". And that sucks because its really sad to read a story that you like skip over what would be the interesting part when you KNOW the author could have written it with a little bit more effort. And I was confused because I thought it would do that to some conflicts, to prioritize writing one, but the author did that with all basically, so none stood out, so????.

Everyone basically agrees that the ending was anticlimatic and underwhelming, its because of this

examples:

Spoiler

There were varioussss. I could go on and on, like how they hyped up this E laboratory stuff, that was doing mutants and planned to overthrow Y, and supposedly set up to be the big villain, be easily wiped up in like 2 paragraphs and done. Yun Chu was revealed to be the mastermind, controlling both the human and E laboratory, but instead of being a reveal, it was mentioned in passing almost. Same with the other villain- easily dealt with, then ran away, caused a bit of trouble, and got killed. I could also talk about how in the real world they wanted to destroy the AI that was yin nian at all cost because its dangerous bla bla bla, and then they got what they wanted, but oh wait we need him back bc theres this liquid that could turn people into zombies that he made was leaked, and only he knows how to destroy it. And then he comes back, and there's no mention of him solving the problem, but you're just supposed to guess that he solved it and the organization is not after him, somehow. Also, when yin nian is back, he has no feelings / memory? of MC anymore, so omg now theres gonna be the problem of making him fall in love again/ remember. But there's like 2 scenes with them together and suddenly, with basically no prompting, he loves him again and everything its right. Okay I guess...

So most of what I would critique about the novel is said in other reviews but:

  1. The novel is so fuqin adorable, fluffy, and sweet that it makes my single ass jelous of these characters.
  2. It is a mix of gaming and dystopian fiction, it blends well with the shift from game to reality
  3. Characters are so goddamn lovable and the smidge of angst in their love conflict was just enough to almost make me cry (cuz im a sensitive madafaka) however most of the characters just becomes cannon fodder when they are not needed anymore in the ‘plotline’ which is kind of disappointing since most of these side characters are interest individuals when given the chance to grow.
  4. I. Despise. The MC Description. So in the novel it tends to demean the MC and have the ML over praised (by which I understand cuz he’s the great boss and everything) but still! It doesn’t have to keep on saying the MC is s*upid or lacking and just acts cute like dafuq he had a nice character development throughout the story and he is actually one heck of a genius but just didn’t have the highest aptitude and achievement, the potential was there but was disregarded instead.
  5. I agree that the end was so fuqin anticlimactic, no not even anticlimactic, but madafaqin boring. BUT imma let it go cuz of the main characs love and relationship (BUT IF YOU ARE IFFY ABOUT THESE KINDA THINGS TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN READING)
  6. Now, there are some plot holes that were unadressed at the end of the novel but I think it’s more of an ambiguous ending rather than a defined Happy or Sad ending kind of thing. The actual end is left to the readers imagination I guess.

Expect:

Fluff instead of smut ?

A slightly dense MC who's learning to be powerful.

A ML who is

Spoiler

learning to be human

[collapse]

A couple who is clueless about how to be together (seriously it got frustrating to watch them like each other and not know how to approach the other ?‍♀️)

Cute cats

An underwhelming plot... the ending was seriously anticlimactic ?

Jumping back and forth between worlds.

Great translation ?

And a story that is not like all the cliche plots I've been reading lately, YAAAAAAAY! That's why I like this novel ?

Ah what a wonderful novel!!! This was simply interesting and awesome, I read it really quickly, dropping my all other series temporarily...

1. The MC has his own priorities and thoughts and is quite rational in his thoughts

2. Good and simple plot line, nothing overly complicated or too much stuff, the plot advances quite well even after they get together, slowly solving the problems instead of just brushing it all aside.

3. There are two worlds, the apocalypse world and the normal modern world and the MC doesn't ignore his team or... more>> his responsibilities (like his job or his team leader role in the apocalypse team) when they get together. It's good to read when they don't just suddenly become stay-at-home-loving-each-other couples suddenly

4. Character development of MC and ML both, plus a fulfilling take on the non human ML part too. He's simply so goddamn dreamy bro •́ ‿, •̀

If there's any flaw (?) I would say I didn't really like it when ML pops out of thin air to save the MC everytime even when the MC is powerful too. And the two-chapter-long villain....i felt bad for him fr. Also not much of intimacy

In short, an awesome must read! <<less

Don't expect too much from this novel. I think the author wrote this novel for fun. It's really nonsense. But there are parts that are okay and some parts are quite boring. Anyway, read it when you are tired of reading dog blood novels.

Damn Good Novel!!!! Can read it hundred times

MC is the first to fall in love and pursue ML. It was so adorable to see that. ML is the ultimate boss but in front of MC, he is like a cute kitty (Literally!!! 🤣🤭)

Highly recommended for BL novel lovers!!!

Pros :

It's cuteee. The extras and the past between MC and ML are must reads. We also got a glimpse of ML's pov. I cried for ML, he's such a pitiful ML.

Cons :

I don't think there's much plot only fluff. The side characters are just there...

In all honesty, I enjoyed reading it as it was very sweet. Truly made me smile and have heart eyes for the couple. There were times that I just scan the words because, even though it was translated well (thank you for the translator!!!), I guess the author didn't made some parts clear and even quick paced.

A novel that can be read to pass some time is what i'll say about it.

It was moderately cute, funny and lil bit hype.

The MC is extremely normal and not some OP dude even though its a zombie apocalypse novel. He had to receive the ML's help a lot of times but he held on his own pretty good too.

The plot is nothing ground-breaking and is something predictable but nevertheless it was fun. It's really a light read because from the side characters to villains, no one was really fleshed... more>> out so we could love or hate them. The story only revolves around the adventures of Zhiyin at the start and later its all about the ML's and MCs cute interactions.

However the ML is someone I totally adore! In the first part I had thought he would be the cold, powerful and possessive type but it turned out he was such a cutie!Unlike other novels where MC normally acts cutesy and ask for stuff/get their things done, it was the ML this time!Rather than overbearing, he acted shy with Zhiyin and always acted so cute with him!For me, the ML made this novel worth it! <<less

First, around chapter 60 to 70, we finally had our very much anticipated confession scene, and it was very very cute. ML is very sticky. Then, through our very op ML, we unravelled most, if not all, the mysteries in this novel. And keep in mind, we're still around chapter 70, and I was very confused to find that there was still over 20 chapters left. After that, the novel seemed dry. Although MC isn't any sort of perfect Gary Stu, our ML will certainly help fill that role. At... more>> this point, you know there isn't much to expect anymore because it's obvious that they'll probably just breeze through it, and fawning over cute cats was getting old. I think another review already said this, but this novel isn't very cohesive. The only thing keeping it together was the repetitive fluffy situations, which, like I said before, was getting old. I wasnt willing to stay when I know there's not much to expect. <<less

This story is really cute, and it fulfills my fluff expectations. Though often times unrealistic (with many obvious plot holes) it's probably not meant to be taken that seriously, so just enjoy the fluff with the main CP.

I wish it was longer though, and I actually want to see further development in the 'game' world and in real life. In the book the worlds' aftermaths are kind of vague, so I wish it was longer as there were little to none further explanation for both of the worlds.

Overall it's a... more>> decent read. Something you can binge for around 3-4 hours. It's quite light-hearted with an OP ML and mostly OP MC (who relies on the golden thigh later on which is the ML) I recommend on reading this since it wastes little time with a high portion of fluff.

Very, very recommended for fluff seekers and people who don't mind love between a human and an a non-human (and people who don't mind low-key creepy, obsessive undertones)

5/5 for the fluff and the main CP kinda weird yet very cute dynamics. <<less

Well... this novel wasn't what I was expecting, that's for sure. This novel is about an office worker whose hobby is to dote on an NPC (ML) every day until one day he gets pulled into the world of the game. Except not everything in that world is the same as in the game.

Spoiler

Turns out that ML isn't actually the NPC at all, but an AI who modeled himself closely after the character and created a parallel universe that he pulled MC into.

The plot started off slow before ramping up to the speed of light. Romance was mediocre at best. <<less

So fluffy (unexpectedly cat fluff) - despite the yandere tag I feel like their relationship was quite tame and innocent (?).

“From the moment he fell in love with this person, he had chosen insanity.”

It's interesting that this sentence is meant to represent Zhang Zhiyin (bombass sentence as well), he's always maintained a pretty sane, clear-headed personality (hangs out with friends, does well at work). The only unusual characteristic would be his dedication to dropping gifts, talking to, and performing romantic actions on an unresponsive, un-moving selection of pixels that is the NPC Dr. Y... which I find ADORABLE by the way. Indeed, like a middle schooler with his online crush.
Spoiler

I really liked the unique plotline of having Yin Nian be AI that created the world for Zhiyin - it's both super sweet and also manages to explain the 'transmigration' mechanism that I haven't seen before.

[collapse]
In the end, there were just a few times where I didn't quite understand what was happening, and a few things I'm left wondering about from the short conclusion (Dr. Phillip?) but it didn't detract much from my enjoyment of the story overall.

One of my favorite novel with apocalypse and gaming genre..

ML is so cute and a doting type husband and MC isn't a heartless type or overly s*upid MC, he is also cute, especially when MC transform into cat. This is happy ending story and there is no typical rival found in other novel, unless you count the ML other identities as a rival (ML is obviously also jealous of his other identity get close to MC)..

I finished this in one sweep and it is good enough to hook me up... more>> until the last chapter. It is recomended if you like a light mood novel without too much angst or dog blood drama plots. <<less
