Need to Propose to Seven Men What to Do!

Description

Chu Mu Yun relied on his story of 《Demon Realm》 to become a one-hit-wonder in JJWXC, but he never expected that he, after writing out seven mental cases and abusing seven mental cases to death, would transmigrate into this shitty novel!

What the hell was this system on the bracelet?

And what the hell was this “either propose to seven men or suffer the taste of a tragic death under the hands of these seven people”?

I had just wanted to write a novel to satisfy my bad interests, who would actually want to get tangled up with a bunch of mad dog sad*st crazies?

Newbie in NUF here how do I give 5 stars oML haha. Currently waiting for this to be completely translated because I lost braincells trying to mtl this. THIS IS THE BESST BL NOVEL I'VE SEEN SO FAR. MC and Zero's interaction gets me cackling. This novel temporarily distracts me from the impending doom which is my failed university entrance because THIS BOOK GOT ME HOOKED. I cannot even, I won't say anything else just give this a read. You'll fall inlove with MC and fall more for the system.

Absolutely amazing premise. Im a sucker for pseudo harem fics and this one just hits the spot. Wished there was more interactions between the MLs though. All in all - very good!

For me, it was a pretty enjoyable read.

I like how seven deadly sins are potrayed here and not just blatantly showing the nature of the sins, some of them are more potrayed by their twisted actions. The plot is surprisingly enjoyable and MC is a character that I kinda like. Usually system that's pretty much useless annoy me but this one add the cuteness in the middle of a pretty dark plot.

Yes, it's almost covered by smut but I think the story is worth the read.

This is a fantastic story. One of the best BL transmigration stories I've read. I love seeing how to MC works to seduce the seven crazy demon lords.

I've read ahead and it seems like the quality of the author's writing does not diminish later in the story.

double standard manipulative story. It's such a heart wrenching home wrecker. If it weren't for the protagonist's strong and extreme personality, this would just be a story of dog blood abuse.
I particularly hate such a manipulative genre but the protagonist doesn't particularly endow the protagonist ability to debuff his enemies IQ. It's a very fun and entertaining story will a lot of "happy fun" times

I've reread the novel and the translation quality is amazing. The interlocking stories set up and build a magnificent setting

it's a "harem" but the members all have distinct personalities, they're all memorable characters

This was an ok read. Basically author of a popular novel transmigrates into it and has to seduce the 7 demon lords (seven sins) in order to leave the novel.

It wasn't exactly the best thing I've ever read, but it made me curious to see how it would progress, so I read till the end of the translations, and I wouldn't mtl the rest because it just didn't feel like a love story to me. It was more like: MC is a manipulative bastard, who was a gong in his... more>> original life (he's a shou in the novel world), who manipulates the MLs, instigating a lot of dog blood. So much dog blood man, I think my mouth has rotted.

In the end you would get a crock pot flavored with the specific spices of: manipulation, fake love, pointless s*x, loveless s*x, impersonating someone else during s*x and did I mention manipulation? Oh there is A LOT of manipulation (instigated by both MC and MLs).

Both the MLs and the MC are what i'd call slags who truly deserve to be together. Sure, the MC is smart and he's pulling the strings behind the scenes but there's a limit to how heartless a person can truly be, you want me to believe someone can make 7 men fall in love with him without feeling an bit of love? F*ck right off. I get this is a "cool" character but man if this is what we define as cool, then imma just slide right out of this trend.

Overall, if you're looking for a series of unhealthy relationships which end in tragedy for the MLs regretting whatever they did to the MC, go for it. Though the amount of build up is long, and the regret the MLs feel is written in short paragraphs, so the payoff isn't as sweet as I personally would like it. <<less

Only novel with a harem (not totally harem at d end) that I like XD Thought it was just smut scenes and planned to drop but, it really has a "story", and a complicated (and intertwined) to boot. The author has a really wide imagination to make a complex intertwined story.

Reading it 2yrs ago made my heartache due to emotional roller-coaster of the story but reading& finishing it now didn't have much impact as it was before. Time really change the perspective of a person

I liked the fact that the MC is a manipulative POS and can give the MLs what they deserve.

Because in other stories the MC is just abused and even falls in love with the abusive scumbag ML.

Everything was fine for me up until we learn the MC and MLs backstory. Although, having a sh*tty backstory doesn't really excuse what the despicable things the MLs did. But the MLs also didn't deserve such emotional manipulation and scummy treatment from the MC from the past and in the present time.

The MC and... more>> ML really deserve each other. As they're both not right in the head.

All in all, I just enjoyed the part where they're trying to one-up each other and not the aftermath. Because they've been hurting and been hurt by each other so many times. They obviously have an abusive relationship. So if any wants to give this a try. Do take note of that. Of course, not everyone will be able to accept or enjoy the story, if you actually think about and analyze the actions of the characters. Better to turn off your brain and not overthink it. <<less

It’s everything you love about angst without actually feeling bad for the “victim” because he’s the mastermind behind the plot. I love the heart-clenching emotions of dogbloods, but get too depressed and bored when the MC just gets abused the entire time, so this was really the best of both worlds.

Also very impressed with the author for doing multiple MLs well because that’s definitely a difficult premise. You don’t really feel bad for any of them when it’s time to switch targets, at first because they’re tr*sh, but after their... more>> character development you still don’t feel bad for them

Horrifyingly hilarious and entertaining read, but definitely not for readers who can't stand romances with dark and twisted elements. As for me, I absolutely fell in love with this novel from the moment I read the synopsis. The hidden identity trope has always been my kryptonite, not to mention the premise of scumbag MC x scumbag ML (s), and emotional gong-abuse.
Spoiler

Well, one ML.

[collapse]

The characters are all messed up and shitty in their own ways, especially the main character who proudly shows off just exactly how f*cked up he is. He's intelligent and extremely manipulative; a stellar actor who puts up the most believable and heart-wrenching plays, but he's not omnipotent and he does make mistakes/miscalculations in his plans. Despite that, he easily adapts to any situation and always finds a way to twist a scenario to his favor. It's really hard to hate him as a reader because of how charming he is, despite his sheer a**holery and the fact that he carries the biggest red flag in the universe. While there are certainly times where the plot seems unnecessarily convoluted and rushed, especially the parts nearing the ending, 99% of the time I find myself laughing out loud (in public, like an idiot) in surprise at MC's unexpected antics and schemes.

Just when I think that I finally can predict where the plot is going, something hilariously crazy happens and it hooks me into it even more. Just when I think that I finally understand one of the characters, they act the opposite of my expectations. Just when I think that I'm not particularly fond of a certain character, the author twists him around and he effortlessly charms my pants off and steals my heart.

I think the driving force in my enjoyment of this novel definitely lies within the interactions between MC and all the different MLs, as well as MC's sneaky and cunning schemes against each one, and how they all interconnect in the end.

For the ending,
Spoiler

I predicted that all the MLs would end up all fused together into one existence. For a good while, I was dreading to see the end because I absolutely hate that trope. Still, I pushed onwards and was willing to overlook this hatred because of how much I enjoyed the novel overall. Much to my surprise, however; what the author did with the ML's fusion was exactly how I wanted it to be. Everyone fused together as one, but not melded into another person entirely -- they're still their own separate personalities, and I still get to enjoy their different dynamics despite being fused into one. I really love what the author did with the epilogue/ending, although I do still think that the way the author wrapped everything up felt very rushed and underdeveloped.

[collapse]

Overall, 5 stars for a subjective rating just because I enjoyed it so much. Objectively, the novel is flawed with lots of little things that don't really make sense, predictable plot conveniences, and loose ends that never get addressed; I'd say it's a fair 4 stars.

Wow that was really long. Most of it was a very interesting scum bottom (MC) vs scum gongs (ML) novel with some face slapping, scheming MC that was able to act super well and twist the situations to his advantage.

I usually don’t do harem novels because I cannot emotionally connect with the relationship but I saw a spoiler beforehand ... more>>

so it made it more palatable. I liked how it was resolved in the end, satisfying enough.

I think I get about 80% of the ‘what actually happened’ that was slowly unveiled; if I were to re-read and catch the flashback memories it would gel a lot better together—there was sufficient foreshadowing throughout.

It was a bit too long and convoluted for my liking. After the first half of conquests I think I ran out of patience a bit because the scenario felt like a repetition. The amazing thing though is that it was so well-written that I managed to mentally separate the ML relationships with MC and still enjoy each relationship on its own, but it took me a while more than usual between each skip to get into it.

Smut started off not bad, and ended up as just repetitive vague descriptions of them doing it a lot a lot of times. Eh.

The whole world and plot line was crafted quite meticulously but I think harem-style novels are not my thing—I kept wishing ‘maybe this is the one’ for MC.

Might re-read if I ever get in the mood of this kind of harem xianxia world building type novel because it’s good for the genre. <<less

This is one of those reads that gives you the need to go to church even if you are not religious. TL:DR, proceed with caution but I highly recommend you to proceed. But watch out.

Spoiler

Reading this, I cant help but see MC as an embodiment of another vice that is seldom portrayed in all Seven Sins media: The Sin of Fraudulence. The way he acts and manipulates and become “another person” for each only cements my view on him. He fakes so much that he even decieves himself and he is none the wiser.

It might just be me but I cant help but see MC’s ending before the resolution as a tragedy. I dont know why—well, I know but Im almost deluding myself to explain it—but MC hurts himself all over, gives everything he has, bends over backwards to each irrational demands, act that it was his initial plan so much that he completely separates himself from the current situation, only for it to read it as his way of repentance. And now that its all over, he finally allows himself to free his own self from shackles he made and put on himself. I dont know why. I know that it is a happy ending but I just have the urge to whisper sweet nothings of forgiveness to MC and thank yous for enduring. MC worked hard. What Im definitely feeling is melancholy and I wish MC all the happiness in the world.

“Yo he’s not real—” SHUT UP

Love, love, love (oh, and have I told you how much I love this story?)

Think of this as smut with a plot and you won't go wrong. Very nice ntr tension throughout, and even though it's 1v1, it feels like the author does that because of censorship. The combining into 1 person is pretty half hearted. Lots of self-jealousy even at the end.

The explanation for what happened works, though I don't think it was the most mind blowing conclusion ever. It felt more like an excuse for the author... more>> to have everyone admit their mutual love and wrap up the book.

The extras are great, especially the hint and tie-in with the associated novel (I'm so intrigued, will it be as smutty?)

There is a bit of temporal play in this novel, so you have to pay a bit of attention to the timeline, but the author/translator does a good job of making sure the readers know the timeline. The number of ml's, their backstory, personalities, and vice are a bit like a memory game. I had to try pretty hard to remember everything (but towards the end I think I finally got it)

Overall, really enjoyable, smutty read with well developed characters and settings. <<less

Rating: 3.5

Pairing Type: cunning, transmigrator MC X... 7 MLs lol; manly shou MC x gong MLs; yandere ML X scumbag MC

... more>> Tropes: rebirth; transmigration; time travel; nonlinear storytelling; xianxia; demonic cultivation

Triggers: death; su*cide; dubcon (it's frequent) ; grooming; violence and gore

Heat level: 4/5 (some explicit love scenes) ; the love scenes in the middle of the book are fairly explicit, but toward the end they are fade-to-black. Maybe the author got hit with a censorship strike?

Re-watch: 2/5- probably won't reread

Pros:

The author is fairly good at playing around with nonlinear storytelling. Time travel can get very messy very easily but things were kept fairly tight and followed their own logic.

Despite the fact that all the MLs are evil, there is something to like about each of them. Somewhat.

MC has a massive gold finger by knowing being the writer of their novel. However, he is unable to predict everything that will happen. He frequently has set backs and things don't go according to plan, but he rolls with the punches. This prevents the MC from becoming a total Gary Stu.

Cons:

... I just hate yandere MLs. I knew to expect it with this novel but I just can't with the dubious consent, violence, kidnapping, etc etc.

Spoiler

MC lowkey grooms several of the MLs... like I get that he thinks it'll be easier to capture them when they are less evil but, uh sis that's a child.

Also, I guessed before even starting the book that the 7 MLs were actually all the same person. The author has written several novels where the MLs soul has been split, so it was safe to assume that that was the case here.

That being said... the way it was explained here was suuuuuper convoluted.

[collapse]

And because the MC doesn't know this until the very end, the MC is total scum the entire novel.

I was an entertaining read. I would not have read all 280ish chapters if it wasn't. Will I reread? Probably not <<less

OMG I LOVEEEEE IT SO MUCH!

The author really know how to satisfy and abuse readers’ heart. MC is smart, rational, and calm. MLS personalities are pretty diverse, and I particularly love the plot where MC has to raise ML form young age (no in*est tho). The ending could’ve been more dramatic a bit and more extras, but overall it’s alright. Anyways! I read MTLs from chapater 200s, and mind you! I really enjoy reading this novel. Compared to the other novel of author which is 'A Wave of Exes Came Looking for Me. What to Do?!', this is more spicy and exciting for me. I like this but the problem is updates are slow and the mtl makes me dizzy so I have to stop reading this, but I badly want to read this story but this laozi doesn't know how to read chinese.

✓Smutty

Edit: Omg, I finished the novel and all I could say was... it's beautiful. I loved it... more>> so much, and honestly I need more!!! I didn't expect the mc's identity tho haha, and the way ML was always drinking vinegar was cute and funny as hell. I couldn't wait for the english translations so I had to find ways to read it, although the translations sometimes was not accurate, it's still understandable and because I really liked to finish this novel no matter what, I had to endure it. This novel may not be the best one that I've read so far but it was still a nice novel to read and I had so much fun reading this. Sometimes I was like, "Chu Muyun, you're a slag but I can't hate you!" HAHAHA. <<less
