As the original heroine in the novel, Lin Yueqi’s life was made a complete mess by the traitorous female side leads: her top millionaire husband wanted to divorce her, her daughter became a villain, and the internet users wanted her to leave the entertainment industry.

Female side lead #1 brought her own magnificent and beautiful traitorous persona. Female side lead #2 transmigrated over and became the villain’s mother.

Female side lead #3 was even more extreme… In the end, her career and family were ruined and she died from excess of anger.

Lin Yueqi transmigrated to before the nightmares began, but she only had her memory up to when she was 17! She was dumbstruck. As an unfavorable heroine, Lin Yueqi found it more important to survive. She decided to give up her daughter and her top millionaire husband and retreat to being a stranger, staying far away from the goldfinger female side leads!

She spread rumors of her loveless marriage with her husband and how she picked up a child in order to swindle herself into a marriage. She decided to squander her luck with strangers and believed that she could almost successfully retreat from the heroine position when the negative news about her on the internet were cleared!

Her husband, Lu Ting, came looking for her with their daughter, saying sternly, “Madame Lu, we have a loveless marriage? That’s not what you were saying when we were in bed.”

Her daughter pursed her lips and sobbed, patting her stomach with her chubby hands. “Mummy, you said that you picked me up! This bun’s heart is aching!”

Lu Yueqi glanced at the little girl who hugged her stomach while crying, causing her heart to ache as well.

Heh. How could she have given birth to such… a cunning little girl?! She must’ve picked her up! She refused to be the stepmother!

I really enjoyed the novel cause I like ML very much. He's not typical overbearing narcissistic ice cold ml. He's described as a cold LOOKING aloof guy but actually not. He's absolutely darling cutie oh but he's not pathetically live under mc's thumb he has his moments of dominaneering side shown. He truly respect MC give space to her. MC give him such a hard time refusing his affection for long time, he suffer lot alone but do I blame MC no not at all. Call me selfish but actually... more>> I enjoyed his suffering lol. That with mc's mental age is 17 so I think its unevitable. I can totally relate to if I wakeup as a 17yr old and I found out I have a 4yr old daughter and a llittle uncle pursuing me who also my daughters father i'll definitely run away. How do you make your mind to be parent when you yourself is barely adult. Some can say 17is not that young but I have to disagree. I'm asian myself and 17 yr old is not exactly experienced age in most of asia. Most of girls study really hard to go to good university and teen s*x is not exactly common practice. There are teen moms but many of them were abused or called bad girls. So many dont even have romantic relationships (studious and serious ones like mc). So anyhow she has to grow up before falling love.

This MC is actually really cool she's not op, she has no cheats she work damn hard for her career, for her family. What more we could expect. She's truly above from those mc's in other novels who suddenly lose their iq after meeting ml.

Ending is truly satisfying. It may not be a great litrature novel but definitely feel good story. Recommend for evryone who crave sweet romance. <<less

This one is truly an eye opener for the evil things transmigrators, reincarnators, rebirths characters to innocent characters in the novel.

Despite the FL only having 17 years of her memory, she acts sane and shows a great FL throughout the story. Well she has shortcomings sometimes, she acts more childish sometimes that doesn't define her at the actions and character when she was actually 17. Nevertheless I just brushed it off since I like the flow of the story

The ML is perfect !! He doesn't care if the FL has... more>> face full of acne, became 160 pounds, etc. And when someone bullies her he would actually show his support and love for her, disregarding his cold-face-overbearing image. <<less

Yo I'm tired. This is a freaking marathon of a story. To be fair, the MCs are good people with good personalities however, I very much believe the cheat systems were overly used as plot devices. I recognize that fighting against these systems is the entire premise of this novel, however at some point, it really is tiring. If you read it, you'll understand the feeling... It's not even frustration with the villains; somehow it feels unnecessarily dragged out - the systems do.

My least favorite part: ok I know we... more>> are living in a fantasy reality but I still believe it should have morals. Where I started to really side eye the use of system as overused plot devices was when
Spoiler

the beauty system AUTOMATICALLY got into a contract with the MC after Que got f*cked over by it - ok let's think about this, a contract requires one to agree to it to enter it and the MC never agreed to enter it and didn't use it and Thus gained the weight as punishment WHICH allowed her to film the fat mom movie and prove "her dedication to acting" -- very obvious use of the system as a plot device when we RECOGNIZE that for Mue's revenge script system, after it got rewritten and the system wanted to untie itself from Mue, it still needed her permission to exit the contract - which she never gave. So by that logic, there's a big plot hole here if one needs permission to leave a contract while another doesn't even need the MC's agreement to make her enter this contract. And that's just the beginning man. At some point, it's just like roll your eyes, let's get on with it. She (and her daughter) deals with freaking 3.5 systems... It's f*cking exhausting.

[collapse]
But maybe its because I MTLed it so it would be better explained in a real translation... But I really doubt it would change that plot hole and my opinion of the systems.

What I liked: it was cute once we focused on the children's love stories. I kind of looked forward to it because it felt fresh for like a brief second probably because I like the "new" characters of the children despite the essential plot being the same but it's just nice ya know. A very warm family feeling. <<less

Initially, I really looked forward to reading this novel. However, just within the first five chapters, I just couldn't take it anymore, and therefore, I'm dropping it. The author is trying to write comedy but it's just not funny and there's nothing amusing about the situation. The FML is also a big turn off. I thought I would like her more but she's just so childish--she doesn't even resemble a 17 years old (mentally) girl. She's more like an immature preteen--who lives in a fantasy world. But even a 14-15-year-old... more>> wouldn't be so naive to ignore the repercussions of her actions. Everything is written very light-heartedly as if it was a joke.

Would I recommend this novel? No. I can't feel the 'fluff' nor find the FML likable. Honestly, I feel sympathy for the aunt, ML, and their child as they have to put up with the FML. <<less

Honestly? The total rating is too low for this gem. It should be higher to 4.5 atleast. What can I say, I love all the characters (well except those greedy antagonists). I lost count already how many times I cried because of the warmth and love of the Lu family has for one another. Got me thinking how I want to as strong as the FL, have someone as charming and loyal as the ML and a wonderful and lovable daughter. ... more>>

And a sand paper son LOL Imagine a 185 cm guy clinging to his 190cm Dad hahaha

This novel also got me in terms of its moral lessons (You will get your retribution when you do something bad and harm others just to get what you want. Revenge won’t get you nowhere but your downfall. Etc) Taught me how blessed I am
Spoiler

The FL’s life is full of adversity yet she stood still. Worked alot of part time jobs while juggling her studies, to pay for her aunt’s medical expenses

If I must say, this is one of the best novels I’ve read and has one of the best FL and ML I’ve encountered (You’ll truly fell in love how hardworking the FL is, her tenacity and practical skills is a plus. & the ML? I just love him too! He’s such a s*ave driver when it comes to the girls of his family hahaha and another remarkable thing about him is that he respects the FL’s wishes, he even let her bully him. He can only sigh and let her on her whims LMAOL) It has a lot in its plate... Definitely a worthwhile read. <<less

I tried my hardest to give this novel a chance as a lighthearted, simple-minded distraction. However, although overall this novel is fun, it's flaws are way too deep a pit for me to manage to keep going.

Let me explain: This novel generally does deliver what it strives to, in the form of lighthearted drama, faceslapping and family fluff.

Despite this, I could not bring myself to enjoy the romance in this novel. Throughout the entire process, not a single time is the opinion of the MC respected. Regardless of if you... more>> think her actions are "correct" or not, she should still ultimately be entitled to them. This gets completely glossed over in this novel, and the ML's "support" of her comes in the form of often times going directly against her goals because he's so delusional he thinks he knows better than her what she wants and that she's just playing hard to get despite her repeated attempts to BEG him to just let her do her own thing. This man is so dettached from reality, that at times his intentions are so dumb that he does a reacharound and accidentally helps her ruin her career while trying to help her fix it. All of this without even telling her, let alone asking her opinion on the matter.

Spoiler

My breaking point was on chapter 106, where after getting maliciously sabotaged by the first female lead the MC decided to break away from the eye of the public as well as her family to deal with the aftermath. Again, I am not arguing that this is the correct path for her to take, but it is the one she chose. Despite this, the ML searches her out. So far, so good. Except he then cooperates with the 4 year old to manipulate the MC by pretending he was hurt by her to force her to give him CPR, then she took a picture of it and posted it on the internet. This, while the MC's apppearance is still sabotaged by the system, and is currently detrimental to her career. And yet, this action that directly destroys all the effort to deal with the issue for two whole months is written off as a silly little moment of father and daughter cooperation. And for what? It's not like they gain anything out of outing her.

[collapse]

All in all this novel would be a fun read if it wasn't for the noxious amount of sexism that runs rampant through it all. But if you can stomach a novel where not once are MC's thoughts respected or so much as considered and the sexist beauty standards are flaunted proudly like a peacock's tail, the family interactions and face slapping scenes might just salvage it for you. <<less

Haaaaah another teenage no brain MC..... This MC is a reborn, she stuck in her 17 year old self, amnesia, so it's a 25 year old girl with 17 year old spoiled egoistic girl thinking that's full of no survival instinct.

Reading teenage mind is making me s*upid. I'm done with this.

So far I like it, finally we see things from th point of view of a reincarnated FL that lost her place due to Side Female Leads getting cheats. However, unlike *MOST* novels out there with the Side Female Lead gender, the original FL is not a villainess in disguise, so far we are told she was your regular vanilla and lovely FL until wicked SFL showed up.

No sign of the bun yet, but if it is like in the description, that's a plus for me.

Rating 5 stars for balance, as it's current 55% is too low and I usually don't even try reading novels with less than a 60% 5 star rating, but really think of it as 3.5 to 4.

I like it because:

1. The child acts like a silly child, and isn't ridiculously mature for her age like nearly all other stories featuring one

2. The FL's problems aren't all being solved by the ML. He is, so far, only emotional support (so rare!), though he does have a high position that stories like... more>> this would usually take advantage of.

3. No angst. Though the situations the FL finds herself in would make me depressed as all get out, she's able to persevere through positivity, turning terrible situations into comedic moments.

4. This isn't a revenge fic where the FL has a hidden side, trying to harm others. She only defends herself, whereas the actions enemies had taken is what brings them down in the end. The best revenge is watching as someone burns up in the straw house they themselves torched.

Those are the key points I like. The reason the rating is low is partially because the writing isn't very detailed and flows a tad bit incongruent, but since this isn't trying to be an ancient epic or drama, I think that's fine. Someone also mentioned repetition in plot, but since I'm only at the end of the first side FL's downfall, I have no opinion of this. The third thing mentioned was the FL's immaturity, saying she seems more like a preteen than a 17 year old, living in her own world, and I have three thoughts on this. 1. I was just as immature until I was 25, when I started getting disillusioned, so I take offense to that. 2. She seems to mature as the story continues, considering her child and the ML more often. 3. Her happy-go-lucky characteristic is the best weapon against the side FLs, being directly responsible for the first side lead's fall from grace.

In the end, I think it's worth reading. It feels best to binge-read 20 chapters or so at a time, in my opinion, since they're a little short and often cut off mid-scene, and not to go in expecting a serious story. It's not fluff and gags, either, but meets in the middle quite well, if one gives it a chance. <<less

The novel shows what happens when all those counterattack system FL's goes against the world chosen FL who does not has any cheat and is made to suffer because of all the cheats a system provide those world hoppers. And after reading this novel I also realized how unfair it is to a world chosen FL if she gets on getting attacked just because world chose her & some jealous, unfulfilled side characters attack her not by their own strength but by using cheats. Overall it is really good novel... more>> which has comedy + drama + face slapping + character growth, etc. Etc. <<less

this is a hidden gem and officially my favourite alongside you cannot afford to offend my women. I have mtled the novel and it is very interesting. Basically the synopsis is that the MC forgets her memory after she was 17 years. She then had nightmares about variety of futures with bad endings so was about to give her daughter to ML nad run away since her bad nightmares were related to them. The daughter is super funny and works perfectly with the MC. My favourite part of the novel... more>> is the starting interactions between ML and MC. You should read, the ML had many misunderstanding and also given some misunderstandings by his daughter. Basically in the story she fights against various systems like in other stories. I overall recommend this mainly because of the character interaction at start and story afterwards as character interactions are very funny. I recommend to read this or you can mtl this as I am and still understand the story very easily.

i specially recommend to not read this only for story while it is good the character interactions are way mor interesting and very funny. Fyi my faourite fl <<less

I love how wholesome this actually is <3

I've been reading a lot of counterattack novels so it was pretty fresh for me to read about a female lead fighting against those counterattacks. As much as novels with counterattack systems are so gooood, this novel made me realize that there is a possibility that a counterattack would just ruin a perfectly good story. I like how the characters were made and the leads and supporting characters were very adorable and lovable. The villains/side leads in this novel were given quite complex... more>> personalities that they actually have a good motive to counterattack, however, they end up being too greedy and go over the line (except one villain? Who got redemption and a happy ending).

It was a very nicely paced novel, not too short yet not too long. You will end up feeling satisfied and uwu after finishing the whole story! Definitely recommended 10/10! <<less

Spoiler

For some (who are like me) who got confuse about what was happening in the summary:

MC was 25, she got hurt because of 1 of the Female Side Leads. When she woke up, the doctor told her a part of her brain was hurt, and that she only have the memory and the mental state of when she was 17. However, MC believes that she (17yrsold) travelled into her (25yrsold) body. She was made to lost her memory in order to help destroy the systems.

Though Id have to say, the 'negative energy' of MC being the battery of the system is very annoying especially the part where the punishment for the FSL can be transferred to MC, UGH!!! (That's just bullying). But hey, I still love the novel ❤❤❤

Spoiler

Its funny how to MC, one of the benefits of 'Traveling into the Future' is being able to watch all the dramas she didnt get to finish before, and watching them all in one go (some of them have sequels too ?)

I enjoyed this novel!! Sure, things were easier with the ML around - but I generally like characters who are a fan of hard work. I also like how she teaches her daughter (once she accepted her).

I think the best part as well is her realizing that a lot of the things that has happened also has her parallel self’s fault because she lost sight of her original intention.

I never expected that this novel turned out to be good.

I usually see this novel before but I ignored it for a long time after I read the summary because I thought this is just gonna be cringey and stereotypical transmigration novel I read. However, after I once again stumbled upon this novel I decided to give it a try since I'm bored and I don't have other novel to read. And seriously, I am glad to read it.

So I like the beginning, the plot is different from other novels but half way through the novel it just got really boring.

Also I would like to note that the time skip from MC and ML to their daughter isn't real well connected. It was random, felt that the author wanted to end the novel but didn't know how to so s/he decided to do a time skip.

How the female side lead were defeated was too easy, I expected it to be more only to be let down.

it is a refreshing novel with the FL is the actual heroine of the novel who was stepped on by second female leads (3 in total) with cheats while she the FL has no cheats. This novel reminds me of another novel with the same concept "Married To The Male Lead’s Father" I really recommend this novel, but the resemblance is only in the concept though since the FL in this story (FL with no cheats) has no interest what so ever in the story line and she actually decided... more>> to be a side character.
Spoiler

the description is some what misleading since she regressed after having an accident (i am not even sure if she has regressed or not) . She lost her memories after the accident and only retain it to the age of 17 while her actual age is 25. When she returned home she went to sleep and had a dream were she was the heroine of a story and then her life went upside down after the appearance of the 3 second female leads with cheats and she died at the age of 28 after her husband the ML divorced her and her daughter said that she was evil
