This story is wonderful. It has a lot of warmth and very good development. It's focused on filial love rather than romance. It isn't necessary to read the arc of the other novel to understand it.

This novel is one of the king's game arch. But I prefer this one than the one in King's game. Maybe the author think "this arch can be better" lol.

This novel is has a lot of things that is unusual. Like the MC is NOT a human but the enemy of man kind. Or the plot twist of why the ML have a "problem" with his eyes.

I enjoy reading this novel. So it's a 5 stars from me.

Adorable and sweet. I love the interaction between MC and ML. You'll never get tired of how the Zerg love MC and care for him and spoil him. This is simply amazing, you won't regret reading this. Super recommended.

the fluff was so amazing and wholesome that I consumed this story in just a few days. the angst (mainly concentrated in the last dozens or so chapters) was a good kick drop in the gut and I cried multiple times. the one NSFW chapter was really... really good \ (//∇//) \

overall I especially love how there are little tidbits throughout the story that made me think there is something at play behind the scenes between our MC and ML and the reveal was not quite exactly what I predicted... more>> but it made total sense and left me satisfied.

if you’re looking for a feel-good fluff story with very little worries and lots of cute, this is a good bet <<less

I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read something fluffy.

Don't expect a story with a deep script, deep characters development, fantastic fights and well-planned villains. This is a story to read and think "how sweet!"

Before reading the novel I read the comments here... and the novel is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to read something cute and extremely sweet.

The first ten chapters are so sweeeeet~ (the whole novel to be more exact)

Spoiler

And what surprised me the most is that there is a hot scene, the scene is short but there is!

[collapse]

I loved this novel, it is everything I was looking for, cute, fluffy and with a sweet romance.

If you read this novel and liked it, I recommend reading "The King's Game" soon after (I think it's better to read "I'm Not Human" first).
Spoiler

In "The King's Game" you will be able to see MC and ML loving each other in other worlds.

Basically a 'reboot' of the first chapter of 'The King's Game'. I know of movie reboots and usually hate them all (lol) but this is the first time I read a reboot of a book. Considering how badly written 'The King's Game' was, this adaptation is much better. The author did make a few changes and even added a few characters while retaining all the fluff from the original. Since I read 'The King's Game' before, I found some changes contradictory... but this is just a minor flaw... I did... more>> enjoy reading this a lot and hope the author will re-write the other chapters too. <<less

It's basically a fluffy story. If you had enough of killings and schemes then this is the right story.

I enjoyed this much more than The King's Game because it had more of a built up plot and great interactions with characters. It also wasn't just 100% smooth sailing all the way through. The Zerg arc was my favorite in the King's Game so when I found out it had it's own story in I'm Not Human I couldn't even wait one minute to start reading and I couldn't stop once I did. I really love that it was a pretty much complete fluff, adorableness, pulling at the heartstrings... more>> story. The heartbreak towards the end really came along very nicely and had me crying my eyes out. It was a good ending in my eyes, I felt that the resolution was acceptable and since it was a happy ending it got 5 stars from me. This is definitely something I would like to read again.

I read this again March 2022. Still love it just as much. Pulled at my heartstrings, had me crying, and left me satisfied. Can't wait to read it again, maybe in a few years. <<less

Too much fluff. Recommended for those who wanted to have a fun read. The MC is quite OP but not crazy OP cus he was born a king. A king zerg is quite powerful so its acceptable.

There isn't any misunderstanding and stuff. But it's full of sweet moment's between the ML and mc

This story is ok. Wasn’t amazing but it also wasn’t horrible. I feel it could have been better. It may not be perfect huit got it’s point across. It was cute, funny and fluffy.

One of the things I liked, and feel that the author did well, is the differentiation of a normal cold and monstrous Zerg with a cute and lovable one. It was interesting to read and totally grew on me as o read the novel.

The Zergs were very protective over Gu Huai and it was weird at some points. But besides some other minor issues this story was an ok read.

Okay, this a really good BL novel. That's it, that's my summary. Seriously though, it has angst, it has almost dying, it has HE, it has a sweet ML...

The MC is a human, who transmigrated into the egg of the Zerg king. He grows up with the Tak Zerg who are seen as the most dangerous Zerg (due to the fact that they do not have feelings and cannot communicate), and helps the overall entire race of the Zerg. Imagine if a cute tiny wolf was placed in an army... more>> who protects him, the wolf is dangerous but he cannot perceive that because he looks so tiny and harmless.

The MC uses his spiritual multiple times and I like how although it's a golden finger and makes him OP, it still has limits and backlash when he uses it too much.
Spoiler

Such as when the MC fell unconscious and when through his second transformation thing-y and started being affected and taken over by his Zerg genes.

[collapse]

There's not only external conflicts that cause the Zergs to help out fellow races and planets, but also internal conflicts (in the Zerg race as well as in his own body and mind) that the MC has to solve. I also really like how the MC had to learn about his own feelings and teach the ML what he was feeling. They made their relationship clear and shared their feelings with each other, it wasn't like a shotgun wedding or something.

There's also a lot of overshadowing that you can find after you re-read it and how you can see that MC has had a positive affect on the universe and the Zerg race specifically. Give it a try, and you'll probably like it. <<less

Fluff!! Fluff!! Fluff!!

This is satisfying to read full of spoiling and meng. You don't need to rack your brain to understand this.

I actually came from King's game and I gotta say I like this more than that. King's game give me the tragic feels that every end of arc I almost cry. I like this more especially the zergs omo.

I actually really like KG zerg arc since it's so uniqe cuz almost all of the bl or normal novels ive read Zergs are classified as a villain of cold blodded... more>> creatures they are actually here but the author make them uniqe hahahah.

I advice you to read this when your sad cuz the fluff will kill you. ~\ (≧▽≦) /~ <<less

i gave it a five because a four would be too little. I have to egt rid of some points cuz I was not satisfied completely with the romance between the MC and ML.... the ML did his best ig, he was a zerg with hardly any emotions after all but the MC is diffrent he accepted everything so passively.... and when the did get together official it was just out of nowhere...i felt like the MC's feelings were not well written in the novel.... the fluff does exist mind... more>> you! there's quite A LOT........ but honestly in my opinion the family fluff was more moving. The whole zergs were so dedicated to him, their 'baby'... sigh... awesome!!!!

this is a definitely recommended read!!!!

p.s-if anyone ever writes a similar book could you pls have the zerg king (MC) be able to show off his ablities??!!? <<less

it was such a pleasure to read INH! I would totally recommend this novel for a light read. its filled with fluff (the scenes with the two fuzzballs snatched my heart) and a little angst interspersed here and there just adds to the enjoyment of reading.

A story of familial love, doting love interests, powerful MC and ML, an idealistic monarchical setting with humourous aspects...

i would give this story a 4.5/5

note: I have not read The King's Game and I don't plan on doing so after reading the reviews :/

Absolutely loved it. Cute and funny. It's one of the books you recall straight away after seeing the cover or title. Both main characters have great personalities, the plot is interesting enough; at times exciting, at times funny but monstly the novel is full of fluff and cuteness but while still not being cheesy.. I really enjoyed and looked forward to each chapter

All the other comments are the same as mine so what i’m only going to say is

1. Fluff is real and it give me diabetes

2. Some of the drama just got me into a roller coaster of emotions and maybe i’m just too invested in the characters but damn those got me almost teary eyed

... more>> Aiyi my boo T^T ❤️ He is such a cute character he needed more screen time

3. This is just a really light read so if you’re looking for very plot-heavy stories then this is not for you

Lastly, I don’t even know if I could read The King’s Game because this was already detailed enough and a good, short enough read on the Zerg fam that I don’t know if I could get onto reading when there is a disparity between TKG and INH character behaviour (based on the other comments) : (( <<less

Extended and more detailed version of Arc 1's The King's Game. But there's a lot of different scene so you better treat this like a different novel from TKG since they're not related in the plot case. There's not system and Gu Huai in this novel is an ordinary soul who transmigrate to Intersellar, that's all. He's not the ruler or the one who makes the plane, so no worries.

This is just like an ordinary transmigration novel with a really super duper fluffy plot.

The drama and conflict is really easy... more>> to resolved.

I think you shouldn't read this when you're bored since this novel is really heartwarming and peaceful that makes you more bored in the end haha.

Read this when you got stressed up or just read some angst, dog blood novel lol, this novel will heal you.

Absolutely recommended,
